[OOC: Weights in effect.]
Canine flashed as the proud warrior displayed a vicious grin, and those onyx orbs of his danced over the displays of light flashing throughout the screens within the spherical confines of his vessel. The speaker system cracked before it spoke out to those impatient ears framed by his violent and unruly shocks of coal. There was naught that could possibly halt the Hiruen son in his landing upon the Neejaran home and the annihilation of the aforementioned race.
“Thirty seven seconds until arrival, Rensou,” Ayleen chimed, the voice of the artificial intelligence perfectly mimicking a Saiyan female. She was an efficient system, completely and competently in charge of any and all decisions regarding the voyage. When the ship had been in need of repair, it was Ayleen whom decided which worlds to land The Gladiator upon and the robotic arsenal within the vessel was responsible in carrying out the repairs.
Twice the former General had been taxed with collecting the necessary parts to repair his ship, and whilst many were entirely foreign, he had made due. . .often through violence he had forced others to make the proper modifications to keep his vessel afloat, but in the end the repairs had paid off. Fire rippled off the sides of the chariot as it sliced into the artificial atmosphere of the Epoch Star.
“Receiving radio contact from Neejaran forces, Rensou,” the voice informed, and Rensou closed his eyes before his lips opened to supply Ayleen with his commands. “Put them through, and please, this time. . .translate them to basic if they don't speak the language,” spat the Saiyan gruffly, and immediately the message came through, and it was thankfully spoken in galactic basic. Rensou grinned wryly, at least he would be able to communicate with these people before he took their lives and their world for the glory of the Saiyan race.
“Unidentified vessel, this is a no fly zone. Halt your descent, or we will be forced to use deadly force. Our fighters are en route.” With those words, the transmission was halted as Ayleen confirmed the presence of two Neejaran ships, presumably fighter craft, en route to intervene on behalf of their race. Rensou nearly doubled over with laughter, he would show them exactly what they had set themselves against as his fingers danced across the controls and The Gladiator slowed to an appropriate speed before the hatch slid open and Rensou Hiruen, with a quick application of Bukujutsu, leaped free from his ship and tasted the oxygen these people manufactured for their own consumption.
Immediately the warrior accelerated, matching the pace of his surface bound vessel with minimal effort, arches of green and blue trailing him as his ki manifested and his energy levels began to spike. It took Rensou but a moment to pass The Gladiator and his eyes took in the two ships on course to destroy his own. Without warning, both released a pair of missiles before they simultaneously banked sharply in opposite directions. The former general smiled to himself as he stared down death, his mind set to the task of defending that which was his own.
The spheres he so frequently employed came to life in an instant, and a young technique was executed. Whilst still in flight, the warrior brought his spheres before him and bellowed from deep within his lungs as he focused himself even deeper.
“Shirudo!”
With the roar, the spheres took their places at his command and their fibers stretched and spread, their two masses forming a twin set of discs that would provide the perfect shield. The four missiles impacted the tightly woven energies and exploded harmlessly against their surfaces. That accomplished, the Saiyan warrior tumbled and turned sideways to face the first ship that turned to set itself to the task once again. A single whip of his finely muscled arm loosed a bolt of his power, and a second spin set his sights upon the other. A second burst of otherworldly might rocketed forward before the body of the skilled fighter went into a flip, perfectly absorbing his impact as he landed upon the Epoch Star, a crater expanding beneath his momentum and a cloud of debris heralding his arrival. It was a short-lived moment before the impact of his ship drowned out his own dust cloud with one of her own.
A thousand feet in the sky two beautiful balls of fire erupted as the two blasts of energy found their marks. The fighters and the two Neejaran pilots within were incinerated in a brief instant.
The voice of Ayleen resounded in Rensou's ears as the cloud around he and his ship settled and he swept the landscape for any others whom wished to taste death this day. To think, these people would challenge his domination of their world!? Nay. A harbinger of death had arrived, and he had arrived with a brutality and flourish that was appreciated even by the artificial intelligence of The Gladiator.
“Beautiful arrival, Rensou Hiruen.”
