Hey, it's your friendly neighbourhood lurker sort-of-owner. Has anyone else got the new Pokemon games? If so, what do you think of them, + if possible would you like to exchange friend codes or whatever? Thanks

I wish I had a Nintendo 3DS... I wish I had a working DS for that matter since I've not played the games since Generation 4 and have not gotten around to five or six yet. Although, what I have seen with Mega Forms, the Horde battle system, some of the gym leaders, and even what I'm hearing about Generation 6's anime form I think Pokemon X and Y will make some great changes to the series. The legendary Pokemon by themselves seem more interesting than what I've normally seen like Yveltal's Oblivion Beam and Xernas' Geomancy attacks. I think this new Fairy type is actually pretty interesting especially since it can easily be applied to existing Pokemon like Clefable. The weird thing I think I find is that they made Azumarill and Marill water fairy type Pokemon. They were fine I honestly felt as Water type Pokemon since they are more mouse like than fairy like.

I appreciate most of the changes made. No longer do Dragons dominate the online aspect due to fairy type etc.
I also like the look of most of the Mega Evolutions and hats off to Game Freak for trying something different.
and, tbh, I'm never given a damn about Eevee xD

Eevee is a pretty good Pokemon in terms of its ability to become different types of Pokemon, but the issues with it I believe are that these types can sometimes be weak.

I have the new game, and I love that they call me Lord Seth, and that I can name my Snorlax "Ser Reginald"

Hey guys... It's not only the game that rocks this time around, but you have to see both episode one and two of Pokemon The Series: XY. They've got back to the roots of the show and I mean literally I can feel it in my gut after seeing Wobuffet, hearing a couple of clips of the old songs during the show, and a surprise at the end I'm not going to tell you all yet if you all haven't seen it. But seriously, you need to see the end of the second episode. There's a huge link between it and the current new series they just sneaked peeked today. Also, with the fact that Team Rocket is a semi-serious feeling group in XY's show so far I think it's going to work out great, especially with the number of companions he is probably going to travel with by the end of episode three.

Ser, you need to go to the orange smiley face on the 3DS start-up screen to get your friend-code.
