The begining of a darker tomorrow

Suki made his way to the rock pile only to find that Zach was several feet away from it. This surprised him, but didnt much change his mood, as the teen seemed to no longer be boasting the power he had before, and as suki predicted, he had hit his limit and was now at the icer's mercy.

"hmm, A lucky one you are, most other warriors would have been crushed. Resourceful, I give you that, but this is over"
Suki said, his tail wriggling around Zachs Neck in order to lift him up once more like he had before the overwhelming transformation.

Suki would bring him roughly a foot above eye level so that he had clear view of the kids stomach, that is what he wanted to focus his brutality on.

Laid out like he was, Zach could hear the alien approaching, but everything hurt too much to even lift his head to get a good view. That was ok though, Suki did it for him. Zach felt the iron grip of the monster’s tail snake around his neck again. His full weight shifted to the tail now supporting him and Zach ended up choking as it constricted to hold him up. The boy’s face was starting to turn red as he was raised higher but then it dawned on him, the chance he was waiting for. ‘There it is stupid, chrome dome just put his bulbous head right in front of you. Blow his freaking brains out!’ Zach’s inner voice screamed.

Still hanging from Suki’s tail, Zach clenched his fists as the mass of energy he’d stored up shifted up through his body. It passed though his strained neck and up into his head where it gathered in his eyes and changed forms. Finally his one shot was right there, right in front of him, all he had to do was look at what he wanted dead and let loose, and that’s what he did. As the technique was intended to be stealthy there was practically no visible warning as Zach directed his gaze to the top of Suki’s skull and let loose with two might, crimson beams of energy from his eyes. Every ounce of power the boy had left went into the beams, even the little bit of energy his solar plexus was still producing went into the attack for as long as he could maintain it. Beyond that he knew not what to do. This would either blow the top of his opponent’s head clean off or he would be royally screwed.

In a perfect world Zach's attack would have made him a hero among earthlings, and a legend around the universe.

Unfortunately this world is anything if not flawed, and in this particular moment, the hand of god seemed to smack Zach in the face as his attack launched out.

Because in a desperate world, Zach's attack struck Suki in the forehead, the beam after contact almost immediately bounced off of his head, flying in two different directions and exploding in the background.

In this desperate world Zach's attack had failed, causing Suki to lightly Cringe, closing his eyes and murmuring under his breath

"Ow, what in the hell"

Only to raise his hand, and wipe the scratch marks off of his helmet like head. Suki didnt need to dodge, or counter, or knock the beams away, unfortunately in this cruel universe, Suki was just to powerful, his body had taken the hit like it was nothing, because to Suki it truly wasnt.

The boys final attack in vein, Suki couldnt help but smile as he pieced one and two together.

"Oh I see, that was your final hope, your last attack to finish me of...ha...ha......"

Suki couldnt help himself, He began to laugh. This entire fight had been for nothing.

Suki could only imagine the thoughts in this man's head. That he had given his all, when all along Suki had this form, this power that was beyond anything he had ever seen. From the very beginning this fight had been a lost cause, a fate that Zach himself had signed into effect. Had he simply listened to the Captain and waited. Perhaps if he had not told Nam and Royd to stay back, Perhaps if he had not left the Galleon so Hastily.

No, in the end this would be the result. No matter who showed up to his rescue, this was the end, and Suki would make it so.

That was why suki had begun laughing, that is why suki laughed to the point that he almost couldnt breath. This situation was one he had not been in for some time, and the fragile look of defeat in Zach's eyes was priceless

"Oh you poor soul, allow me to finish you"

With That Suki's tail thrusted upwards, Releasing Zach into the air, high above the rest of the world, Just barely in site of the Human's whom had arrived to watch. And with that Suki would end their fight. Bending slightly at the knee's Suki took off in flight, quickly and without hesitation.

Impaling Zach on his right horn

The sight was one to be seen, The blood would pour out off his midsection, his already destroyed Organs would be pulverized as Zach was forced over the sharp point of Suki's horn.

The blood would pour out in such a way that anyone watching would be certain that if the point didnt kill him, the blood loss would. But best of all would be the reaction in the poor boy's face, something Suki would see as he thrusted his head downwards, throwing the boy back down to earth, only now, with a large gaping hole in his mid section

Red, that was the color of Zach’s world. For several seconds as he poured everything he had left into the twin crimson beams of energy streaming from his eyes, their red glow was all he could see. The energy discharge was greater then anything he’d ever produced before, even in his weakened state he’d amassed more energy then any other time in his life and spent the entire sum in one last shot.

Red, that was the color of Zach’s face as he realized he’d failed. The heat of embarrassment turned the boy’s features an even brighter shade then the slow strangulation he was suffering. Then the true depth of what had happed settled in. He hadn’t just failed himself, he’d failed everyone. Every man, woman child and yes, even animals on Earth. He’s taken it upon himself to save all of them and failed. He’d fought his best and was now thoroughly defeated, what was left of his crimson aura slowly fading away. There was a sudden lurch skyward, free flight and then impact.

Red, that was the color of Zach’s life blood, spilling freely from his mouth. The dreaded monster had really done it, he’d been run through. The boy’s body went into a brief spasm, his nerves firing in uncontrolled waves, nothing sure of what was going on. Pain like Zach had never felt before washed through his guts, what was left of them. His arms hung down limply past either side of his opponent’s head. Had he the strength he would have dragged Suki by the neck to the underworld with him.

Red, that was the color of the ground moments after Zach’s body landed with a sickening thud. His chest was barely moving now, heart pounding away trying to get blood to destinations much in need, only to be added to the gathering pool expanding around the blonde teen. His hands twitched a few times, sweat rolled from every inch of skin and his pupils dilated as he stared blankly up at the sky.

Red, that was the color of Zach’s world as he was taking his last breaths.

Suddenly and without much warning two hooded figures appeared on the stage.

The first made its way to the ground below Suki, he had nothing but a small sack of some sort. With no direct Idea of what could be in the sack, he simply chose to drop it on the ground below suki, and utter a few short words

"This battle is finished, take your payment and leave"

The second figure dropped to one knee by the fallen Zach, and picked up what appeared to everyone to be but a corpse. However the hooded figure knew better, there was life within those bones yet. Zach was to stubborn to die so quickly.

The second picked up zach, holding him tightly like a cradled babe, and took off, ignoring the large amounts of blood that would be coming around him.

Meanwhile The first hooded Figure returned to the second, and as they flew placed a hand on the open wound. A small flow of energy began to flow from his palm, a green and soothing energy that Zach would undoubtedly feel surrounding him.

Within moments the Wound had closed, although there was intense damage still to be repairs, the man would live, and that was really all they could have hoped for.

The three of them would return to the lookout from whence zach came. Back to the lookout where they would discuss what had just transpired.

Leaving Suki to his own devices

Suki watched with pleasure as the boy lay sprawled out on the ground, breathing his final breaths of life.

It would have been a satisfying end to the fight, however a hooded figure made his way into the fight, and left Suki a small sack, and began to take the fighter with him.

After levitating the small sack up to him, and checking that it was indeed the 4000Z he had requested he nodded with a sigh, while he had wanted the man dead, his torture and Humiliation was enough to set his mind at ease.

"Fine, take the brat. He is no good to anyone anyway. When he awakens, Ask him what it is like to stare death in the face"

With that the two took off, performing what appeared to be a healing motion. No surprises there, the man leaving clearly was support, or he would have intercepted long before he did. He was here to Pay suki, not to fight him. It was obvious this Zach fellow had broken rank and done as he chose rather than follow the leader.

A poor choice

However Suki was satisfied. He dropped to the ground landing softly on the gravel below.

Taking a few steps into his ship, the door would close behind him.

This battle was over, and earth had survived yet another day

perhaps next time they would not be so lucky.
