Xanden landed onto the nearby grass field, which was spread across the area for what seemed to be an unlimited amount of miles. By now, and was a good distance away, on the clear, even ground. Xanden looked around the area, to only see a few shrubs and rocks lying around the outer areas of the field. But for the most part the area was free of any object or person that would get in the way of the fight. Xanden then looked over to Suki's now damaged ship. Suki and Samael were still busy talking, most likely still about some business deal that Xanden didn't give a shit about. Xanden just shook his head and looked up again at Aice, preparing for the upcoming battle. Xanden observed he lightly skinned alien, seeing that he most likely had some hidden reserves. Starting to sense his power, Xanden was quite surprised. It was a high power level, even higher than Xanden's. But that didn't scare him... nothing would. Today Xanden would either have vengeance or death, and boy, Xanden is sure set on vengeance.
Xanden stared at the lightly skinned alien for another short moment, as the wind breezed past the two fighters, causing Xanden's jacket and hair to go into different directions, then settle back to where they originally were. It was obvious that this lackey was from an uncommon race, which put Xanden at an great unease. For the most part, Xanden liked fighting new races. But this time he didn't. It was most likely that this guy had an ace up his sleeve, and if so Xanden wouldn't be prepared to deal with it accordingly. He just had to expect the unexpected.
He started to slide his hand's into his pant's pocket, to get into his normal battle pose, when Xanden stopped himself. Suki would most likely be watching this, and if so then Xanden wanted him to see his true power. Xanden then took his jacket off and threw it behind him onto the ground, without even looking behind himself to see the jacket slowly drift to the ground onto a patch of grass, and started to get into an uncommon battle stance. He put one arm behind his back, and another at his opponent as he set his feet evenly and firmly on the ground. Xanden then started to give the alien a smug look as he started to wave his hand towards the lackey to come at him.
"Let's get this done quick. After you die I can finish my business with your boss, and finally get the battle I've been waiting for..."
Slowly, the rage inside of him started to boil up again, as Xanden started to curl his hands into fists. Xanden was full of too many emotions at once and the only one he could recognize was his immense anger. Xanden stood in his battle pose, waiting for the lackey to make his move. He was the only thing standing in Xanden's way from getting his revenge, and Xanden was dead set on killing this twerp and moving on.
