Hm? What's this? Night has fallen on the battlefield, and a moon rises into the sky.

Nam sighed from relief to find the saiyan well, but he was then confused as the individual switched from a lecture to a monologue. At first, the tailed human-like person was complaining and expressing his anger towards the woman that shot out the lazer-type beam; and for good reasons, Nam thought. Why would she attack him if he was helping us? But then his babbling changed to a confused state where he mentioned an ‘Old Man inside his head’. Nam had never heard of such phenomenon; perhaps, telepathy?
A few moments after, the saiyan got back to his senses and his power level increased once again as he ricochet behind Meishi at blinding speed –next to Nam, and grabbed a hold of the pink demons head tentacle, which was an easy grab, almost as easy as… WHAT!? Nam’s eyes widened as he saw the female human make yet another move on the saiyan, making a grab for his tail. It would’ve mean’t the end of the mysterious warrior if she had gripped it, but the saiyan seemed to have jerked his tail to the sudden presence of her finger tips and with another incredible outburst of chi, he slapped her away.
During all of this, Nam was standing still in the same spot he has been on for quite some time. He didn’t know what to do, which side to take, who to help. Who’s the good guy? Who’s just innocent? Even with the previous events that have taken place, Nam wasn’t sure whether Meishi was truly evil, or just misunderstood. Would you kill a child who unknowingly or innocently pulled the trigger of a pistol? What about the saiyan? Popular belief said he was up to know good, but being half-saiyan, Nam wanted to believe the good in him and put aside the stereotypical thoughts. Otherwise, why would he be helping them? Why would he be attacking the only evident cause of Central City’s destruction? It didn’t make sense. Damnit Nam! Do something!
The befuddled half-saiyan could only watch as the pink demon coiled it’s tentacle around the saiyan, which soon seemed as if it were liquefying. Nam saw the saiyan’s disgusted face and watched as the pink goo seemed to work around his body as if trying to engulf the being. “DAMNIT MEISHI!!” Nam screamed, finally able to react on something. He wasn’t sure about what the demon was doing, but it was obviously not going to heal his opponent. “DON’T YOU SEE!? IF YOU KEEP ACTING LIKE THIS YOU’LL BE COMPLETELY A-“ Nam’s tantrum was cut short to the detection of an immense and totally spontaneous concentration of ki, and before he could grasp just where it was coming from, a large red energy like wall curved out from its center –the saiyan, whom was being swallowed whole.
As usual, Nam activated his energy barrier once again out of instinct and surprise. It was almost involuntary; like the blink of a person when sensing a sudden disturbance in the air. Seconds later, Nam’s red barrier was struck by a powerful concentration of spiritual energy that pushed him back. During the rush, his adrenaline rose and so his concentration on the barrier increased as well. But this only helped for a few moments, as his wall soon cracked and broke. Nam enclosed his body into a ball, with his legs up and knees against his chest; his head lowered and arms crossed over it.
He winced to the burning sensation as it singed the hairs on his arm and burned off parts of his black martial arts clothes. No doubt it would’ve been even worse if it weren’t for his energy barrier. After the explosion, Nam was on his back looking into the sky. His body still functioned, although a bit burnt and ached from movement. He decided to stay there at the edge of the newly cratered ground of the already destroyed city. His eyes gazed up to the night sky and felt the sudden dusk breeze caress his tortured body. His mind eased to the beautiful sight of constellations and bright stars. It was nice to know he was healthy enough to still appreciate the picturesque view of the stars; something we generally take for granted. If there were any kind of bright side to the destruction Central City, it would have to be the fact that the nights would be much brighter, since the city lights would no longer mask the natural beauty of this planet.
Nam began to close his eyes to the silence, I wonder what happened to the others… it’s so quiet… his eyes then widened as his conscious realized it was dark. His mind seemed to be aware that it was night, but his conscious just now realized it, and opened his eyes, which then widened to the view of a full moon. Once again, Nam thought back to that fateful day, when he was standing before the body sized mirror of his home in pajamas. The first day of school at Kikoukenjutsu, the day his mother was murdered, and… the day he cut his tail off…
This was yet another one of those situations where he mildly regretted ever doing that. To the memory of cutting his tail off he remembered he was still wearing his scabbard and reached behind himself, to meet his fingers with the handle of his long sword. His nerves reminded his body of its presence and Nam then felt the body of his scabbard down his back. He then gripped it, but instantly released. Nobody was armed in this fight, and so Nam’s honor and pride would not allow him to use weapons. He stood off the ground and out of the crater, removing his scabbard; it would just burden his movements at this rate. He also removed the upper part of his clothes, since it was partly burned off. He then breathed in deep and felt the night wind once again hit against his mildly burned skin. Which he then froze completely and once again realized it was a FULL MOON. A full moon, and he wasn’t the only saiyan…

It had been quite some time since Royd’s first visit to the planetary surface. He’d made two more quick landings in that time, both to set up a bank account and to barter with what few pieces of machinery he could spare. The Nightflyer wasn’t exactly falling apart around him, but more service droids then usual were down for maintenance and the food processor broke down once again, forcing the young man to eat freeze dried rations for breakfast. They weren’t horrible, just slightly lacking in texture and consistency. The flavor was well preserved though, the runny yellow stuff tasting like eggs, the light brown goo like corn beef hash and the darker drown rectangles like bacon.
When breakfast was concluded and the plastic wrappings his rations had arrived in squared away, Royd floated out of the kitchen in the near zero gravity he was accustomed to, into the lounge and seated himself on one of the recessed couches. He’d been looking on the planetary information web for possible shipping jobs he might contract for, but so far no one wanted to pay for the enormous amount of fuel it would take to get the ship flying again, up front. Truthfully he was beginning to lose hope that he’d get a job shipping anything, at least while trying to arrange it remotely.
“Hmmmm… Perhaps I should send my hologram down instead. I might be able to convince one of those companies to hire us if they know they’re talking to a real person.” Royd mused out loud. This of course prompted a response from the computer, it’s eerie form of whispered speech cascading through the great hall.
“That is true, the hologram isn’t exactly very convincing either… But it’s better then nothing.” he replied and rose from the couch. “Prepare the projectors, I’m going to go down there.”
As one would expect the computer protested but Royd was determined to return to the planet in one form or another and simply glared at one of the monitoring cameras throughout the lounge. Making his way through the concealed passage and into his bed chamber, Royd laid down and prepared to inter the virtual reality world imposed upon him by use of his hologram. The process was both a telepathic and a technological one, the telepathy serving mostly to help fully immerse Royd’s mind in the environment surrounding his holographic counterpart.
Moments later on the surface, the translucent, blue hued image of Royd’s hologram flickered into existence. It took a few moments for the image to completely stabilize, during which time the humanoid form bent and distorted in ways that only an image could. Once it had however stabilized, Royd looked about at his surroundings. He was expecting to arrive at the Central City Bank, not a junk yard.
“What is going on, I can’t be in the wrong place…” Royd commented to himself and then strode forward. In the HUD hovering in the corner of his vision, he could see that the coordinates were correct and the hologram had been sent to the location of the bank, it simply wasn’t there anymore.
Growing worried, Royd took manual control over his hologram’s placement and blinked it from one location to another, covering ground much faster then he could have while walking. Destruction seemed to be spread of quite a wide area as if a bomb had gone off. There were even a few remaining citizens fleeing the destruction, but none he could get any form of answer from. Eventually though his holographic form happened upon the epicenter of the devastation and he spotted a group of people, at least two of them were what he knew to be people anyway, engaged in an altercation of some kind.
Horrified at the level of destruction that these people had apparently caused, Royd’s holographic avatar stopped it’s blinking search of the ruins and remained standing on a high mound of rubble, overlooking the combatants. He only remained that way for a few moments as it looked very much like the tide of the fight was turning for one of the combatants, for the worse. Walking forward, Royd could make out four distinct forms, although there could have been more beyond his holograms perception field. Two of the combatants were definitely aliens of some form and the other two had the appearance of humans. At least that’s what Royd thought until he was within about a hundred feet and clearly spotted the tail on one of the supposed humans.
“Oh dear, what is one of those doing here?” he commented aloud. It was clear to him now that all of this destruction must have been caused by the Saiyan and the two aliens were attempting to put an end to it. This was of course a logical assumption based on the reputation of the Saiyans and the data available to him from the educational library on the Nightflyer. Having no ability to effect material objects though, Royd could only watch with his hologram, although he could at least make his presence known if it wasn’t already.
“Who may I ask is responsible for all of this?” he called out and resumed walking towards the group. Unfortunately at this range his telepathy could not make contact with anyone’s mind, this was also due to the fact that it was also needed to operate the hologram. Instead he was relying on the holograms ability to see and hear to tell him what he wanted to know. What he could see though appeared to be the end of the fight, the offending party was wrapped up in a tendril like appendage extruded from one of the aliens and was largely under control.

Dao was flying up when he saw a full moon. He went into his pocket, controlled his justu to remove the faceplate and took out a senzu bean. He remembered the gift the queen of the guard gave them, the senzu beans, saying there only used for emergencies. He put the senzu bean in his mouth and chewed. Suddenly his body looked more refined, the shreader justu for the armor to shine brightly. Then midnight, still flying uncontroliably spoke to his first opponent, "This is just a beautiful night to die, meshi's going to do the impossible..." He then cupped his hands to his right hip. "Sadly, your presence brings fear and destruction, i only wished you and meshi could use your powers without hurting others weither they be other fighters but we all jumped him when he just wanted to play, he's a pure evil child. As he was talking a onyx ball of energy was formed and the ball got even bigger as he was talking, his palms holding down this medisin ball sized ball. He then yelled "IF MESHI DIES, THE PEOPLE HE KILLED GET AVENGED! YOU MAJINS JUST AREN'T SATIFIED WITH LIFE, SAY GOODBYE!" his armor shotting off all around the area. his power rising with sparks around him as he raged into his demonic well of power now more plentiful from eating the senzu bean.
Meanwhile the spirit ball was comming down faster on the little majin. before he started speaking.
He then yelled. "HAAA!!" And with marksmanship aim and persision a massive nether energy wave came down towards kyomi, he coulden't control the wave yet, sadly he was new...

Satin was knocked back by Antary’s tail hit, sadly she was expecting that and had allowed for it to happen. She ended up getting knocked against a hard surface, most likely the remains of a building. She felt the back of her head with her hand, and wasn’t at all surprised to feel the sticky hotness of blood. ’Oh great, now I’m going to have to bathe in a lake in order to get this stuff out of my hair.’ She thought trying to remember the last time she actually took a bath, it hadn’t been recent… maybe a week or two ago? She then caught sight of Meishi, her original enemy. His tentacle like parasite had been detached from his head, and was now trying to eat the saiyan… Either that or she had hit her head harder than she originally thought. Just then she caught sight of his aura, she herself couldn’t sense them but she could tell when that kind of power was released. To her surprise Antary released a wave of blood red energy. It seemed to consume everything in its path, which seemed to be a bit too dangerous for Satin at this time. ’Thank god he hit me with his tail.’ She thought smiling as she focused all of her energy into her defense to lessen her damage since she was going to try and block herself.
The explosion itself was complete hell for her, besides the burns and scratches that would probably scar, she had actually been hit again in the head with yet another hard object. ’Shit. I swear if I get amnesia after this… I don’t care if he is five times stronger I’m still going to eradicate that diminutive baboon off the edges of the Earth!’ She thought angrily holding pressure to the back of her head for the second time today.
After a few moments of trying to collect herself, Satin looked up at the sky expecting to see the comforting sunlight of daytime, yet all she could see was darkness. Then the occasional glint of stars and the beautiful white aura of the moon. Full moon… what was it her parents told her? Something about danger and the moon… but how could the moon have anything to do with this? Just then her father’s voice appeared inside her head, slightly drowned out by the buzzing noise and the sizzling pain of her skin. ” If you ever see a full moon. Run. A saiyan would use that little advantage against you, they turn into a-‘ ”RAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAA!” Satin was just starting to feel her wounds take effect, half of her body was covered in burns, her head was bleeding and better yet her arms and stomach were a train wreck.
” I can’t take this anymore! I need to get of this.” She was starting to say her thoughts out loud, however she still couldn’t believe that she was now running from a fight. ’What a disgrace.’ She thought simply as she walked off towards Mount Poazou, which was her home since Central City was now ruins. ’Even if they win the fight… the damage has already been done.’ Satin thought as she began to think about her next move.
{0oc: Satin’s out.}

Kyomi squeaked as the blast screeched towards her like a bullet train! with the ki she had saved up from taking the first technique head she raised her barrier. great pillars of steam gushed forth from her porous body as she exerted her fullest heights of her power into ablating the oncomming blow.
Though successful in greatly reducing the damage it inflicted She failed to stand her ground and was carried far away over the city limits by the torrent of light. her consciousness as she passed over the horizon without so much as a trace. No doubt the exertion had exhausted her.
Her small child like body traveled even after the blast had dissipated, bouncing and rolling harmlessly along the ground thanks to her rubbery skin tension and consistency
all that remained where she had once stood was her two sizes too big shoes that smoked gently at the bottom of the great fissure the attack had gouged in the earth.
Perhaps enough with the sudden disappearance of her ki (due to distance) to fool someone into thinking her utterly destroyed by the attack.
(left the topic, Good fight dao. we can have round 2 once I'm a bit more of a challenge.)

Crap! His tail, from Meishi's angle, looked subdued, but in actuality, Satin failed at gripping it! But it was no matter or large threat to Meishi, who was already continuing his absorption with a chuckle, when an aura began to engross Antary! Instantly, Meishi knew what he was going to do-having an ability of the exact same nature. Without bothering to pull back his antenna-jelly, he instantly broke into a frantic sprint in the opposite direction, when the power Antary was gathering was released! The explosion got closer and closer, beginning to kick up against his heels. He closed his eyes, arched forward, and ran as fast as his feet could carry him-but it was too late. The explosion enveloped him from the waste-down, forcing him to trip, his upper body falling to the ground and screaming as the explosion rippled over him.
When the smoke cleared, there was no more Meishi. Wait...there seemed to be a large pink cloud-almost like a mist-that was coagulating and bunching together, and within a few moments turned from a cloud into a large, floating mass of pink that bubbled and moved with a nasty gloop-like sound. Then, it stopped, and seemed to move in reverse, and slowly lifted up into the air-getting smaller as it did so, and slowly, Meishi's body was reforming from the feet-up! His clothes seemed to reform with him as always, and he had a stern look on his face. His arms where crossed across his muscled chest, and the small bit of pink material was at the back of his head, moving down and disappearing while it recreated his tentacle. Heheh, wasn't it just cool that he could do that?
"MRRMPH. That enough. Meishi leave now, you annoying!"
With that, he held out his index finger with an extended left arm, and a very small orb of Ki bunched at the tip, and then fired a high-speed piercing Death Beam at Antary! It wasn't meant to kill, but it was meant to send him a message-that next time, Meishi won't be messing around! Then he took flight, and headed in the opposite direction of the rest of the fighters, using up most of his Ki to fly at mach-speeds, ensuring his escape. The last action he did was yell to Kyomi,
"DUNNO! We leave now, Meishi go find green man!"
((And with that, Meishi is gone-as well as used his ultimate reform))

Staring at the dark sky filled with stars, Antary let out a long sigh. "I can`t sense him. This is over." Closing his eyes, thought the saiyan. But there was something not letting him relax completely. A bad feeling, sort of like the one you get when you forget something really important. That uneasy feeling kept Antary from falling asleep, but soon he was forced to open his eyes wide. A familiar energy emerged from nowhere. It was Meishi. But how? There was no trace of the majin`s energy, neither could he be seen. Did he somehow dodge it? No, there was no way. "But how?.." With a shaky arm, he slowly lifted up the note in his pocket. "This seems like trouble enough..." Dropping the note, Antary was going to reach for his pocket, but... His opponent was already staring at him, mumbling something about leaving. Either the saiyan heard something wrong, or Meishi really was leaving, but before he did, the demon shot off a quick finger beam straight at Antary. "I... have to... dodge it... Ugh!"
With the last of his strength, the saiyan tried rolling out of the way. Not only was the beam fast however, but he was pretty weak after the constant use of Kaioken and an energy attack that he put all he had into. Dodging was impossible in a state like this. Antary tried rolling away, but as he was trying to do so, the beam pierced right through his side and further into the ground, causing unbelievable pain. Letting out a loud scream before "completing" the roll he was trying to dodge with, the saiyan fell face first on the ground in the crator he himself created. He was used to pain, but it still hurt a lot, and would hurt no matter how tough you are. Instead of finishing it, looks like Meishi left. "You... Are not... Getting away... Ka... io... ken... augh!" Even trying to power up slightly only made the bleeding worse. Right now Antary simply couldn`t use Kaioken and he understood that. He was still alive, but with a wound bleeding heavily like that it was not for long.
No way he could do anything to Meishi right now, so he was almost glad that the demon left. The only concern Antary had was to not lose consciousness before taking and eating whatever was in his pocket. He did not trust the old man too much, but what was there to lose? Practically nothing, considering that if it won`t help and is some kind of prank, he`d die before it even took any effect. Maybe there was someone who`d help him? Well, considering the major explosive wave released just now, he didn`t exactly expect anyone to live, let alone help him.

Post by Nam Reikonaga on Dec 16, 2011 13:08:59 GMT -5
Nam gazed intently at the barren land as he stood at the edge which marked the limit of the vast explosion. He was expecting to hear screaming and a giant monster growing like a skyscraper, but he couldn’t see a soul. He could only feel faint power levels and one which seemed to recover somehow, but it was too far away. Suddenly Nam heard the inquisitive cries of yet another new comer. Nam shifted his attention to the human-like figure in far end of the battle field, walking towards them. How did I not feel his presence? The half-saiyan questioned. It’s not like Nam was conscious of all the individuals near him, but in this case, there were so few living beings it was hard not to –but this one… Nam couldn’t feel the spiritual pressure out of this one, not then, and not now. Nam then began to speculate that perhaps this being was so weak his power signature was unappreciable. That or he was just hiding his power level, but then what would be the point in that if the person was speaking out to him. As Nam was about to reply to the man’s question he felt a familiar power signature rising, as if someone were brought back to life; with this he noticed a pink cloud far away from Nam’s position and he could only watch as the demon rebuild his body from toe to head.
His eyes widened, watching the present, while his mind was observing the not so distant past. It was that first encounter in Yunzabit Heights. The previous Nam was training back then when the pink gum first made his appearance and bluntly asked for a fight. His memories then forwarded to the part where Nam was on the ground after one good kick and was launching his Kamehameha wave at the aggressor. He was surprised to see the demon’s hands and arms totally disintegrated, but what really popped his eyes out was the fact they were reforming. Even then, Nam had heard of such things in fable stories. He assumed taking the head would’ve been the way to kill such a creature. But that brings us to the present and current moment where the young half-saiyan discovers the ugly-truth as this godlike being reformed before him.
For the moment Nam had completely forgotten about the fact that there was a full moon and half saiyans. Screw Oozaru, Meishi was fully recovered –AGAIN- and he was already at Oozaru strength. He was faster too. At least, that’s how Nam estimated it. He was aware of the Giant Ape form, but his deceased mother was the only one who truly ever experienced the presence of one. If not, she wouldn’t have been so persistent on getting rid of Nam’s tail.
Nam turned his focus back at the oblivious being that was walking closer to his death with every step. “GET OUT OF HERE!” Nam warned, his voice echoing through the deserted land of what was once Central City. Nam then suddenly noticed something behind the individual. It looked like some sort of mob. It didn’t take long for Nam to realize they were human as he lowered his standards, allowing him to feel the presence of every single human being. They were fairly far away, but anything at viewing distance in this situation was in danger. Proof? Look around. Every corner was dust, as far as the eye can see.
“This is Freddy Firecracker, coming to you live on ZTV!” the camera zooms on the teal hair man speaking with the microphone. It then shifts to the battle occurring in the distance as they continued moving forward to get a better picture. The reporter then says, “We are currently traveling on the remains of what used to be our beloved capital, Central City.” The camera man observed their surroundings; finding nothing but debris, dust and rubble. “I am sorry for those who had family, but it seems there were no survivors. We also spot some kind of battle far off in the horizon. Please, stay on your seats as we move further in to investigate.
The camera man zooms on the event, showing what seemed like two –no three humans. One of them was on the floor face first in a crater, who seemed to be badly wounded. While the other seemed to be wearing some sort of space suit. They then saw a pink blur flying away from the scene… “Uhm…” Freddy began, trying to find the words to describe the situation. “I don’t really know what’s happening myself.” the reporter admitted, “but it seems as there was some sort of epic battle here, and we’re watching the results.” The young man stood there watching along with his crew.
Going back to Nam, his attention was stolen from the mob as Meishi suddenly shot out what seemed like a lazer-type energy attack at the fallen saiyan and then he lifted off, retreating. “ME-“ Nam was going to call the pink demon, but he then decided not to. Why is he leaving? he wondered. Still believing there’s an innocent and confused child hidden in that pink monstrous face, Nam was determined to find him and try to talk some sense into the demon. But that would have to be postponed for another day, for the longer he stayed, the more risky it’d be for the sudden flock of people walking in like tourists.
Nam then remembered about the saiyan, whom was probably agonizing and dying from that last attack. Before moving in, he stopped to take one last look at the individual from earlier –the one in the space suit. He couldn’t come up with anything and decided to leave it as is; not saying a word to man, Nam dashed forward to the saiyan’s aid with the idea that he should not allow him to see the moon no matter what. Forgetting his scabbard and leaving his recently removed sword on the ground.
The half-saiyan dropped to his knees, gliding down the crater which ripped off some of his pants cloth in the process. His already burnt skin ached from all the grinding, but he was too focused on getting the task done to acknowledge it. “Hey! You okay!?” Nam called out, gently resting his hand on the fallen man. He was down on his face, which explained the lack of giant rampaging money. GOOD! STAY LIKE THAT!
“Don’t worry, I’m here to help you…” Nam said gently as he noticed the saiyan was still alive and struggling. He seemed to be trying to reach for his pocket. Nam then noticed a note nearby: ---- "Hey, Antary! If you are in trouble, eat whatever`s in your other pocket. Have fun, John." ----
Antary? Is that his name? Nam wondered. But he quickly wrenched the thought away; there wasn’t time for asking questions. Realizing the saiyan, now known as Antary, was actually trying to reach for whatever the note had been indicating, Nam took the liberty to reach inside. He then pulled out a small green bean, IT’S A SENZU BEAN! Nam exclaimed in his head. He then smiled and looked at the saiyan, “Don’t worry Antary, you’ll be fine if you just eat this. Just don’t look at the sky, there’s a full moon.” Nam warned, placing the bean on the wary saiyan’s lips.

Antary was just about to reach his pocket, but his vision faded away. Perhaps by his will to live, he actually moved his arm on a sub-consciousness level and retrieved the item in there. However, he could not feel shape or form of anything, including his hand. But looks like he really was doing something, because something started "knocking" on his mouth, and soon Antary was chewing the thing. It tasted like a bean. Beans were the only things growing on his home world, so he could recognize a bean by it`s smell alone. This bean was different, it was soft and had an actual taste. It tasted like a bean that was not grown on friggin stone. "Well, at least before I die, I get to taste the food of my home. I hated that place so much." However, to both his surprise and amazement, he stopped feeling anything. Before he ate whatever he ate, the saiyan could only feel sharp pain and blood that was constantly pouring out. But now, he felt like never before.
Opening his eyes and quickly getting back to his feet, Antary remembered what happened. He was blankly staring at the sand of the crator, still not believing the fact that Meishi managed to somehow disappear and reappear just like that. Was that some sort of a technique? "No... I`m positive he got hit by it... Then why is he still alive?!" Shouted the saiyan, after which he noticed the man standing next to him. "Do you know what that thing is? And why isn`t it dead?!" Antary was shouting at Nam, angrily clutching his fists. An opponent that managed to evade death is one thing, but someone who died and is still not dead is something entirely different. That was driving the saiyan mad. "It is supposed to be dead. I sensed it`s death. It did not exist. But then suddenly it did once more!" He continued being angry and upset about it for a little while longer, before letting out a sigh and calming down. "I had to push myself further. Old man can do Kaioken times ten and twenty, I need to learn that. And you had to fight him, not weep and ask for reason. Didn`t you see the blank stare in his eyes? It was... demonic. Pure evil." Antary crossed his arms, talking with Nam without even looking at him.
For now, he went silent, thinking over the battle. Someone who can manipulate his own body parts like gum, if that isn`t a challenging opponent, nothing is. Suddenly he remembered something. He still had a score to settle. "Oh, that`s right! Where is that woman? She seems to have a problem with me, so I`m going to solve it for us both." Antary closed his eyes, "scanning" the area. "I can`t feel her, she either died or got away. Hmpf..." The saiyan certainly felt more or less relaxed, the fight was over. He let his tail move around loosely, still silently thinking over what he did wrong and what he did right in the battle against Meishi.

(I apologize to Dao and Royd, but we thought that, since you guys weren't in direct contact with us at the moment, it wouldn't matter if me and Antary just kept going with our conversation. xP)
Nam stood up smiling to see the saiyan back in health. He seemed to be relaxed, and leaving his tail carelessly flailing in the air was a sign that he wasn’t planning on confronting Nam; it was but another reason why the half-saiyan believed this saiyan was a diamond in the dust –that, or he was too cocky for his own good. It kinda reminded him to a certain human he had met a while ago, whom then defeated him in the recent tournament.
“That-,” Nam stumbled on his words. He wasn’t sure himself about what that demon truly was and he didn’t know how to explain it to Antary, “his name is Meishi.” He managed. “I don’t know myself what he is exactly –no, I know exactly what he is…” the half-saiyan looked down, observing the lifeless ground they were standing on, in the center of the crater. “He’s a Majin. I thought Majin Buu was the only one, but today there were two of them. Kyomi… and Meishi, the one you just fought.” He responded, still looking at the ground as if to avoid eye contact.
“I’m not sure how he could survive, but it seems he has these regenerative abilities. I recall Majin Buu could do this as well –or so, that’s what the books say.” He explained. “I’m not sure whether you’re familiar with earth’s history –you being a saiyan and all.” He added, suddenly moving his pupil’s gaze at the carefree tail behind Antary, still facing the ground beneath them. “This isn’t the first majin-kin to appear on earth’s surface, this is probably their third appearance.”
A sudden breeze intruded in their conversation. Nam followed it with his eyes to the moon above them. It was so beautiful. “I understand what you’re saying…” Nam began again, “but while you say a blank stare, I saw a confused soul. Kyomi was the first to bring me to this conclusion. She was so small and innocent; I didn’t know such majin existed. Such a pure creature is delicate to influence.” He explained. “I don’t know why… but I just assumed –no, I was convinced that Meishi was just the same. He’s only seen the bad in people. His tough exterior masks his true self, which is that of a lonesome child who just wants to have fun.” He said this, with his eyes still mesmerized in the beauty of the moon. It is then that he had an epiphany; although, he didn’t show it.
How sad… Oozaru is truly nothing but a curse. Sure, it brings great power, but someone with a tail could never enjoy the light of a full moon without going insane –assuming Oozaru was completely untamable, which was Nam’s, and his mother’s belief. It was truly a sad thought. While he went through this thought process, he was completely unaware of the saiyan as he asked about the human girl that grabbed his tail.
Nam then shifted his gaze to Antary, returning back to their conversation. “Would you kill a child who innocently pulled the trigger of a pistol? He’s been taught it’s fun; he’s been told it’s a ‘game’. That is exactly what we’re dealing with, I believe...”

"You seem to know quite a bit about those jelly faced things. And considering the fact that we are all still alive and this Buu guy not around, I`d say they have a weakness. Finding it is another story." He lifted his head up, watching the stars, not realizing that with a slight movement to the side he`ll end up losing all senses and go into a frenzy. Antary never knew what the moon was, he only saw it when it was not full during his night training sessions. It is true that the saiyans back on his home world told him that the moon releases a saiyan`s true power, but he never really experienced it. Throughout this battle he realized, that he practically made no mistakes that were actually about strength or technique. It`s just that his opponent was so different, it was impossible to see it coming. "Would I kill a child who killed someone? Sure, why not. Someone who killed once and got away with it will not stop there. That`s what I was told, at least."
The saiyans back on his home world were weak low class warriors, but they were experienced and wise men and women. Their wisdom wasn`t exactly the one you could see old people say in movies and such, but it actually was clear and made sense. Whether they were wise in human standards was pretty hard to tell. They are all dead anyway. Was Antary blaming himself for their deaths? Not exactly. His pride made him believe that the elite should not protect the lower classes, in fact, it should be the other way around. It actually was. The young Antary was a gem to his fellow saiyans, a gem that was constantly under the threat of being stolen. That sure boosted his confidence, and along with it, his pride.
One thing was clear, though. He had a weakness. If his tail was grabbed, everything would be over. Maybe you could train it, like for example, an arm? He knew some wise saiyans who spent years training their tail and only that, only to keep the weakness. But, unlike them, Antary was on a whole different level. Everything is a possibility. The other thing that was just as clear, Kaioken is very unreliable. It really carried the day, but the strain rendered him useless in the end, while the opponent was able to recover. Maybe an opponent that can`t regenerate will be a better target to use the Kaioken on.
Antary remembered something, and turned his head back to the ground. He could see the small note that essentially saved his life, and went on to pick it up. Checking the other pocket to see what was it that he ate, he saw a tiny green bean. "What the hell is this?" Well, it was obviously a bean. "Did this thing actually heal me? What kinds of crops grow on this planet?" He put the bean back into the pocket, saving it for later. Though he was still unsure if the bean healed him, or there was something else, there is no loss in saving it for now. "I`m amazed at how I actually managed to eat it when I was uncoscious though. Guess all the training really did count for something."

“Well, to be honest. I only know about them in theory. Up to now, everything I think I know seems to be spot on…” Nam replied. “Yeah, I was thinking just that a while ago. Why would he retreat when he was in perfect health? There had to be some kind of weakness he was masking.”
Suddenly the saiyan look up to the sky. Nam almost had a panic attack, Didn’t I tell him there’s a full moon!? but he was then calmed by the unchanging figure of the pure blood. Looking at him closer, there was no doubt. His brown prehensile monkey tail, the black hair, his black eyes… he was a perfect candidate for the pure blooded saiyan, and not to mention he didn’t correct Nam when he bluntly stated Antary being a saiyan.
Nam was caught off guard by Antary’s reply. He’d kill a child? he stopped and began to reevaluate his own beliefs. Could it be that Nam was the delusional one? No… After giving it some thought, Nam concluded that he was not wrong. They simply had different point of views, which should be expected since they were raised by completely different races; then again, a lot of humans were probably even worse than saiyans. We’re just lucky they don’t have the power to back it up.
Nam saw the puzzled saiyan as he observed the bean in his pocket, which the note had been indicating. “That’s a senzu bean… it’s a mystical bean that completely heals you. It’s been around since probably before human existence. But it only became global roughly nine centuries ago when a human known as Yajirobe started cultivating them with some immortal being called Korin. For some reason the immortal being was depicted as a mere cat with a staff…” Nam had always been pushed by his mother to study. She’d always threaten that if Nam didn’t do well in his academics, he’d have to drop off from Victory School in Mount Paoza. That definitely motivated him. “As for how it got to your mouth, I’m pretty sure that’s because I was the one who put it there.” He clarified. Nam hadn’t realized the saiyan was THAT injured.
“You should probably consider visiting a library or something... there’s a city not too far from here, ‘Satan City’, there might be one in there. I’m sure everyone has been flocking there since this incident.” He advised, after giving the saiyan a short debrief on the history of the mystical senzu beans. He looked out into the horizon and remembered the mob that had gathered. Nam was still unsure what they were, but he bet his money it was some kind of TV reporter, getting the scoop on Central City’s terrifying craterization. Nam put no mind to them, there wasn’t any real danger anymore…
It seemed Nam had run out of things to talk about with the saiyan. There wasn’t much they could talk about in the middle of a crater. And he didn’t seem like a tourist saiyan looking to delve in for some earthling history. He probably had things to do. Not to mention, the longer they stayed out there, the bigger the risk of having to deal with a great ape monster. Nam had never encountered one before, and he definitely didn’t want to start now. In fact, maybe it wouldn’t be a good idea for the saiyan to go for a stroll in Satan City, not with a full moon out in the open…
Nam’s mind began to think back on their recent encounter. He remembered how the saiyan kept drastically changing his power level from one moment to the next. He remembered the red aura which flared around his body and practically sliced through the dry air. Perhaps that was some kind of ability saiyan’s had. His curiosity didn’t allow him to keep shut about it. “Antary, right?” he looked at the saiyan’s face, confirming the name he read on the piece of paper earlier. “What… How…” Nam struggled, trying to find the right words to describe what he wanted to know. “How did you do that? The red aura, I mean. Your power signature kept fluctuating randomly throughout your battle with Meishi. What was that?”
Nam was especially interested in this, for he lacked any form of transformation –or… boost. Not having his tail, he lacked the saiyan’s innate power; which was probably the best way to keep his home planet safe. Everyone seemed to have a way to increase their strength: Zach, Antary, that other guy who fought Kyomi and whose name remains unknown to Nam… Alright, maybe that’s just three people. But they’re practically the only beings Nam knows, now that everyone had been obliterated along with his home city. Nam knew that as long as he lacked that… boost. He would remain the underdog in every battle. In the beginning he might be winning, but just like Zach, his opponent would go berserk; somehow temporarily increasing their strength drastically and in the end, turn out victorious in the match.

Antary was listening to Nam without much attention, especially at the history parts. Everything but the most important parts (the ones he thought were important at least) went past like a breeze. "I have things to do, and it does not involve reading books." For the first time, the saiyan actually looked at Nam once his name was mentioned. "How did I do that? It took me a while to learn the Kaioken. It would be faster if my teacher did not suffer from amnesia." He stared at the note with such curiosity, as if it contained some sort of important secrets. It did not change, but Antary was deep in thoughts yet again. He still had no idea who the old man was, but he was sure going to ask him when there was a chance. "With the use of Kaioken you increase your power... That`s kind of it. I don`t remember any details."
He released the note off his fingers, and with a blow of the wind, it quickly flew away. "Listen, if you want to talk, we can do it some other time. Right now this whole place is... well... A bit corpsy. If you so wish to continue this conversation, find me tomorrow at the southern... desert mountain... ish... areas. Ah, screw it, just go south and raise your power, I`ll probably be able to sense you."
He stared at the ground a bit, something has been bothering him. Antary could clearly see his own shadow on the ground, which was kind of weird. It was as clear as in sunlight. Maybe the full moon is out? "You can go now. I have one more thing to take care of." Said Antary quite... persuasively. Hinting that Nam should really leave. After saying this, the saiyan would wait for Nam to take his leave. He did not know what to expect, but this guy was getting noticeably nervous each time Antary looked at the sky. Maybe there is something dangerous when it comes to saiyans and the full moon? Well, only one way to find out. Slowly turning around, he faced the large white ball in the sky, the full moon. It was time to find out what this "true power" of saiyans really is.
No matter how hard Antary tried, he could not take his eyes off the moon. It hypnotized him, filling him with some strange power. His body started increasing in size and growing fur, his nails turned into claws, teeth into fangs. Strangely, his clothes didn`t rip due to size increase, due to them being designed for saiyans turning into giant apes. Antary already lost his senses, succumbing completely to this new power. Releasing a loud roar, his transformation into the mighty Oozaru was finally completed.
Like a hungry wild animal he proceeded to stomp on the already destroyed Central City, seemingly dissatisfied by the small amount of things to destroy or kill. Should he even smell someone alive, he`d end up chasing and fighting them. But was there really any point in fighting over something that is already lost? There was no one left to save, so the Great Ape was practically doing nothing. Without interference, he`d continue to rampage over the ruins until the moon has disappeared.

Nam instantly recognized the name of the technique Antary had been using. It was a technique developed by King Kai, and the only one besides him that knew how to use it was Goku. How did this saiyan get his hands on such a great technique? Especially one that only has history on earth soil; any other civilization outside of earth should not know of its existence, but here this guy comes in and he doesn’t only know about it, but he’s using it. Has he died before? But if he has, then how is he alive? The fabled dragon balls haven’t returned, have they? Could a god bring people back to life? –And if so, why him?
Nam decided to leave all his inquiries for their next encounter. He couldn’t help but smile at the saiyan’s poor description. “Mount Paozu it is then…” the half-saiyan waved farewell and turned his back on Antary. As he was about to fly off, he felt a disturbance in the air. He felt an abnormality in the spiritual pressure of the saiyan whom was standing behind him. Was it Kaioken? Why would he suddenly use his Kaioken? There were a few possibilities that Nam’s mind could think of instantly: One, the saiyan was just playing with Nam and he was just waiting for him to lower his guard; two, he needed the extra power that the Kaioken yields to get somewhere incredibly fast; or three… it wasn’t Kaioken…
Nam jerked back around as he felt Antary’s power level increase even higher than it had ever been – or at least, higher than what Nam had ever detected. “NO!” he yelled. It was as he feared. The saiyan seemed petrified as his eyes were slanted on the moon and the light emitted from it began to alter him. Nam observed as the saiyan’s body began to inflate and brown fur rapidly covered his body. His face also went through a nasty transformation as his nose kinda fused with his mouth in a way they both stuck out of his face and his eyes turned completely red. No pupils, no iris, no conscious… just red.
He could only stand there and watch as the large body of the giant ape pierced the air like a skyscraper and roared. His saiyan armor seemed like it was especially designed to stay intact during these transformations. It explained some features Nam noticed, but it wasn’t time for Nam to be analytical, for every cell felt in his entire body was telling him to get the **** out of there. Within seconds of reaction time, Nam’s red aura engulfed his body and he dashed out of there. Then, the half-saiyan completely stopped in midair, somewhat frantic, as he saw the man in the dark grey jumpsuit from before, “we have to get out of here!” He warned for the second time now, his heart racing as he said it and anyone with ears could easily detect this in Nam’s voice. He spotted his scabbard nearby and hurried down to get it. If it weren’t for the guy in the jumpsuit, Nam would have probably forgotten all about it.
Reattaching his scabbard to his back, he then gripped the handle. I bet it wouldn’t be too hard to cut his giant tail off… he thought. The giant ape monster was rampaging out of control in the desolate ruins of what used to be Central City. His tail was a big target, and it was just flailing carelessly in the wind. It would’ve probably been easier than it seemed; especially since Antary’s unconsciously screaming Oozaru was apparently unaware of their presence. But Nam let go of the handle as he concluded the city was already in ruins and nobody would be harmed –that is, if he can get those news reporters out of the scene. He decided it would be acceptable to allow the great ape monster to go crazy as long as it stayed in this area.
Nam ran towards the man, with the gesture of grabbing his wrist. “Come, we’ve gotta-,“ but Nam’s hand went right through it. The man’s hands flickered and static could be observed as it reconstructed the image. Nam was genuinely confused. He thought this guy was just some kind of cosplayer. But why would he be in the middle of a deserted city? It was obvious he wasn't here when Meishi destroyed it because he wouldn't have survived; then again, looking at things now, Nam couldn't understand how he could possibly be affected by Meishi’s attacks if Nam’s hands just went right through him like a ghost. Although he doubted it a bit more, in the end it was evident that this suited man was not here during the incident because he clearly asked what was going on just minutes ago.
It did not occur to Nam that perhaps he was so delirious from his panic attack that he was making up imaginary friends. The half-saiyan couldn't process what he should do next. He had to get all those people from ZTV out of danger from the giant ape whom seemed like he was going through some sort of spaz attack in the background; the mysterious being who fought Kyomi was still nowhere to be found, although Nam could still feel him somewhere. He wasn't sure whether it was legit though, or his mind was playing tricks on him; which brought him back to the man in the jumpsuit standing before him, whom Nam had no idea how to interact with. He couldn't touch nor sense this man’s existence, it was weird. Nam decided to just stand there and wait for his reaction; although, if someone was in danger from Oozaru, he was prepared to dash to their rescue.
The camera man focused on the mindless great ape monster that was rampaging on the crater where Central City used to be. Freddy, the spouse, was speechless; although, his job required him to speak. “W-well… I assume you’re glad you stayed tuned after commercials, cause we’re back. This is ZTV Studios, and we’re here LIVE to give you the latest scoop on the disappearance of our beloved city. What took years to build seemed to take only seconds to crumble below our feet by the hands of this giant monster, which seems like a really big ape with clothes…” he said as the camera remained focused on the giant monkey.
Nobody in ZTV seemed to understand that the actual destroyer of Central City was the pink figure that left upon their arrival, and since they didn’t have any visual suspects they could accuse, they decided to give all the credit to this mindless monkey with blue battle armor.
