The rain fell heavily against the ruins. The sky was dark and somewhere in the distance lightning split the sky and thunder roared. While not normally a typical night for one to be out, there were always exceptions. Hair damp from the rain and shoes thoroughly soaked through, a girl made her way through the city. Over rocks she climbed, through fallen homes. Carefully she wandered the now-dead city, alone in the saddest of places. She had heard stories about this place. While talking with her uncle, he had told her about it. He also said it had been mostly destroyed ages ago. In truth, it was one of the places that had attracted her so. As Amaranth stood atop one of the buildings, she could see the beauty that had once been this city.
Though, while beautiful, being out in this rain wasn't exactly good. She was completely soaked and made a nice target for the ever-nearing lightning. It was time to find shelter and wait of the storm. She squinted, scanning what little of the area she could actually see. Even if it hadn't been well-past midnight, the rain made it impossible to see and fly. With a silent curse, Amaranth hopped down and began weaving her way through the wreckage. There had to be something left standing that would be a decent shelter for the rest of the night.
Through muddy streets and torn-down structures she walked until finally, she came across what might have once been an inn of some kind. While the upper floors were practically gone, the lower one was still in good shape. Ducking through a hole in the wall, Amaranth shook her head, wiping her wet bangs out of her face. She was freezing! All that time in the rain and wind had left her a bit worse for wear. With a sigh, she walked further into the room, pleased to find couches and chairs from the lobby part of this floor. That would make a nice place to wait out the storm. Amaranth flopped onto one, letting out a small cloud of dust. While old, the couch was surprisingly comfortable and dry. While, at least until she laid on it. With a soft sigh, Amaranth closed her eyes. Now to play the waiting game...

What looked like a meteor smashed into the ground hard, sending a shockwave radiating outwards from the impact. As the dust settled, there was a metallic noise. Then another. What had landed there wasn't a meteor at all. Stepping out of the carnage of a crator was an odd looking creature.
His skin was tinted with green, his eyes black and red. His mighty tail thrumped on the ground with satisfaction. His stomach was splotched with black dots, and his chest, arms and head were riddled with holes. He wore only a white pair of pants with a double triangle-shaped belt buckle. Unknown to all, he had just come from far away. And now, he was ready... Ready to start his true purpose.
His slowly lifted up, eyeing his horizon. In the distance, a city. As he sniffed the air, a smile rushed over his face, "Ahhh... I can tell this place will be perfect for the taking." His voiced was raspy and dark. The kind that send shivered down your spine. He floated in place for a few seconds before crossing his arms over his chest. Then, like a bullet, he shot into movement, heading right towards the ruins of Central City.

It was obviously going to be a long night ahead. But she didn't mind too much. The heavy way was calming in it's rhythm, the lightning outside lighting u the shelter she had found nicely. The couch was comfortable and though she was a bit chilly she was drying quickly. Yes it had been a little silly to come out here when such weather was for-casted but Amaranth was always known for making quick decisions. After all, that was how she had met him...
No! She closed her eyes, pressing her palms to them. She wouldn't think about Him. Not now. It had been a year since His death and nothing would change that. Besides...it's not like anything had ever happened. She'd never even kissed him. With a sigh, she pulled back her hands and turned her eyes to the ceiling. The whole reason she ha come to Earth was because staying on Writhos, and even Nor, was too painful right now. It had been a year, but people still talked about it. She had heard his name everywhere, seen pictures of him around every bend. It had all been too much. An'Gel was gone, but she wasn't allowed to forget him, wasn't allowed to move on. When her mother had came to her room that day, it had also been raining. The two had sat there, her in her mother's arms like when she was a child, her mother stroking her hair. They had talked for a long time and Amaranth had cried until she fell asleep. It was the next day when her parents talked about her going to earth, getting a total change. They had set everything up with her aunt and uncle here. It had been suddenly, with no forethought that Amaranth had changed the coordinates on her ship and ended up here.
And I like it here. No one knows who I am, what I am. And no one knew him. With a sigh, Amaranth closed her eyes. If she was going to be here all night, it was better for her to sleep rather than think...

Draxor wandered around Central City, looking like it was finally being rebuilt. the rain, however, caused a delay in the process. Syrus was on his shoulder, watching around for anyone who would be suspicious of a talking raven. "Looks like the coast is clear Drax, maybe we should find an alley to spend the night, or at least find some shelter from the rain." The bird said. Draxor agreed with him, they had to find some form of shelter.
They walked into an alley, and found a bunch of crates nearby. Draxor made a make-shift shelter out of them, then settled himself inside pulling out his fathers sword to polish it like he did every day. "I wonder if I can find someone to spare with here." he said to the raven. "who knows my friend, who knows."

"Geez, I wish this ability came with a warning for weather, I'm not even asking for a huge glowing neon sign that reads bring an un parapluie due to dreadful weather."
A sixteen year old girl runs out from behind a jagged broken down pillar. Both hands tightly snug to her solid white flat cap which her so called friends continuously called an old mans cap. Her long natural curly pink rose shaded hair was now a dark fuchsia colour and hung downward straight and damp. The ends of her ivory scurf floated in the air weightlessly behind her as she ran as fast her feet size 6 brown slide on shoes would allow her to run. Her matching chalky white top was now covered in several darken silvery spots where the rain had connect to her clothing. The spots only continued to grow larger creating an image that almost made her shirt look transparent. Splash! Water mixed with dirt formed like a spider web around her upper thigh grasping on to her milky snow white pants, now stain her angelic image she portray through her attire was sullied.
"What is the reason of being out her at a time like this. I really starting toward where my mind is in my later years." Her Light blue eye noticed what looked to be a great place to wait out the storm that caught her completely of guard. " I'm Definitely going to write an leave angry letter for myself, this is ludicrous!" Mesa then walked into a room where she had thought to be alone. Completely over looking the female that sat in a chair not to far from her position in which she was now standing in she spoke aloud again.
"I must be going senile in my old age, who would be daffed enough to come to a place like this of their own free will?" Mesa caramel toned sun kissed face was covered with water that dripped down form her hair and hat. Quickly she removed it grasping it in her left hand between her palm and fingers then place both her balled but slightly relaxed hands on her hip just above her leather brown satchel. "Now what should I write myself!".

As C.haos hitthe city, he grinned wickedly. "Oh yes..." He hissed, looking around from above the ruined buildings, "there is plenty of food here. I think I will have a lovely time." The greenish monster landed in the center of the road. Rain slid off his nearly metallic body like he was made of wax. It didn't bother him in the least. Oh no, He had more important things on his mind.
There were less people rushing about the city streets because of the rain, but for C.haos, it was perfect. Most people worried about the rain more than the monster that had just landed. That was a mistake they would soon regret.
He set his sights on an old man, who was living out of a box. This was an easy target. His long tail smashed against the box, revealing a frail-looking man with a bottle in his hands. He stared up at C.haos, and let out a scream, but it was too latw. The second the scream left the man's mouth, C.haos's tail shot into action. It opened, much like a reverse umbrella, and engulfed the man. As it closed, the man's feet kicked with agony as he tried with all his might to prevent his appending doom. But it was too late. The tail acted like a snake, swallowing the man whole.
C.haos rubbed his stomach as his tail returned to normal. Licking his lips, he grinned once again, "So tasty... I want more."

Draxor's head Shot up as he heard the scream. "What the.." he rushed out, trying to locate the sourse of the sceam. there was a broken bottle on the ground, and a green Creature next to it. "Syrus, what do you think this creature is?" Asked the Saiyan offspring. his feathered comapion looked at the creature, he shook with fear, "its a bio android, we need to get out of here now." he said in a hush voice. Draxor took no time to argue and began to run in the opposite direction of the creature. 'hopefully he's not hungry for a Saiyan hybrid and a Raven who has powers unknown to him' thought Syrus as he stayed on Draxor's shoulder.

Posting order: -Amaranth -Draxor -Mesa -C.haosAmaranth was almost asleep when she heard footsteps in the small room. Her eyes shot open, though she remained perfectly still. Even her tail stilled. A bright, cheery voice rose over the footsteps, speaking what seemed like quite a bit of nonsense. She listened for a moment before sighing softly. So much for a peaceful sleep.
"Why in the world would you write yourself a letter?" she asked. Amaranth rose, looking at the woman over the back of the couch. She had caramel-colored skin and what Amaranth guessed was bright pink hair when it was dry. She was dressed all in white which was quite silly. Her shirt was almost see-through and mud spluttered her pants. Amaranth could help but chuckle softly.
"And here I thought I was unprepared for the storm," she commented, obviously referring to the woman's choice of dress. Amaranth stood stretching slightly before walking over.
"So, is that some weird Earth custom? Writing letter to yourself?" she asked, only half serious. If it was, then Earth was quite a silly, nonsense filled planet after all.
A scream broke through all of Amaranth's thoughts. Her hand went immediately to one of the daggers on her belt, her eyes riveted on the hole leading outside. Her ears strained for any other noise, but all she heard was the pounding of rain. Screams were something Amaranth knew well. She heard the in the war, when she worked with the assassins, and from her own throat. That scream spoke of terror of the purest kind.

Draxor Rounded the corner of a Building, and went in the door. he was out of breath, he looked around the building he had just entered. "hello, Anyone here?" he shouted. the place was probably an inn at some point, but no one seemed to be around. "well, at least we're safe." he said to his raven, "that creature probably took the person who screamed for lunch." Syrus said. Draxor took out his fathers Sword again and continued to polish it. Even though no one seemed to be in the Inn, there was a feeling Draxor had, like he was being watched.

A low yet pronounced sigh could be heard from behind Mesa, her thin youthful body hastily froze in place. Someone was here? she thought to herself still not moving as much as a muscle. Unsure as to why she stood there motionless, she tried to urge her body to turn around. Deep down inside however she thought that maybe just maybe if she stood still long enough the words she had spoke would cease to exist. She however came to the conclusion that the words she spoke could not be taken back. She of all people should now this, Mesa was well know in the time she had come from as a well now speaker who stood in front of millions to calm the nerves of over zealous people or for enlightening the masses. Yes she was only sixteen and yet spoke with such passion that hushed the mouths of the most note worth speaks in her era. She still however lived under the shadow of her father who she had brought to the lime light herself, but that another story in itself.
Like a turtle off course Mesa slowly turned herself around to see whom the person was that had over heard her chatting with herself. Just as she had made eye contact with the women that rested on a old dry couch. Her eyes showed signs that she had just waken from a slumber or she was just about to fall asleep. Mesa well well ready an set to make up a lame comment about what she had said hoping to brush her earlier words off as nothing more that a joke. Until the unknown beauty that sat in the chair in front of her asked the question she had hopped not to here. Mesa stumbled over her thoughts while trying to thing of the perfect way to answer the question. "Ha ah ha.... it's the...that.. new song by.... that one lady, ha ah ha you know! Her eyes widened as she forced out the lie puffing her cheeks up and breathing in as she blew the air from her mouth upwards blowing her fuchsia colour bangs. The were still wet so that had still retained their damp wet look.
The lady then stood up, which was all to sudden for Mesa as she stepped back quickly swallowing air. A quiet gulping sound was engulfed by the squishing sound from her slide on shoes as the sole hit the ground and squirted tiny shot of water out the sides. Mesa was no fighter and she had already had many attempts on her life in short minimal year of living. Please don't try and kill me she thought as she watched the Mysterious beauty ever so carefully. A noticeably conclusive chuckle came from the lady as Mesa could not help but to stare on her in utter awe. "Hmmm?" she rose her hands to her side to as if to say "What is so funny?"
Before she knew it the women had now comment on her attire, how would she explain this one. In her time she was just about to start a very important speech that she felt was extremely too adult for her taste. By adult she was referring to a conversation that in which she did not want to be bothered with until a later date. The women then continued talking asking about Earth customs and such, was she an alien Mesa thought. This was her first interaction with an alien and little did she know that his day was the day that set her long the path in which she would grow. Still Mesa was focused more so on what she would say to cover up her ability to a unknowing person. She felt that if anyone knew of her skill they would tell the world and she would become the governments Guinea pig and be but through a ton of redundant test that would only prove that she was the same as everyone but had a give that other don't understand. "OH MY GOSH!" Mesa screamed as her hand rose up high in the air. The joking women had now became serious. She did this way to fist as Mesa could not keep up. To her the lady had been speaking to her calmly then before she could even get a word out her mouth to defend her self form the accusation that were somewhat true, she had now had her hand rested on her weapon of choice. Well for the most part she was right it was bonkers for a person to wear all white in the middle of a rain storm, yet she had no idea she would arrive her in the middle of who knows where. But her odd choice of attire should not be a reason to pull out a weapon on a teenage girl. "I don't have anything worth your while!" she spoke as she placed her arms behind her back hiding her solid gold contraption behind her back in hopes that she didn't see it and try to steal it from her.

C.haos turned, just in time to see a boy and a bird round a corner. Shaking his head, he set his sights on a second target. A group of people were huddling behind a dumpster, with fear in their eyes. A mother, Father, and their two children. C.haos grinned as he turned to them, bearing his two rows of sharp teeth. There was pure evil in his red eyes.
"Don't worry. It doesn't hurt," he told them in a sadistic low voice, "Much." He walked slowly towards the frozen family. His stare petrified them. The little girl was the first to scream, and try to run. She darted away from the dumpster and he family, cut C.haos's speed was too much. His tail opened, much like it had before, and swallowed the girl with no problem.
The father and mother screamed, the father pushing past his family, "You are a monster!" He roared, throwing a punch at the green monster in front of him.
C.haos took the punch to the face, with a grin. It was as if a fly had landed on his face. Even with all his rage and might, the man stood no chance. "Run!" He screamed to his family, which followed his orders.
But C.haos shook his head, "I don't think so..." He told him, batting the man away like a fly. The man his the wall of a building, and shot through the concrete from the force.
"Daddy!" The other little girl screamed, breaking free of her mother to try to rush to the aid of her father.
"Patrica, No!? Her mother screamed, but it was too late. As the girl ran past C.haos, His tail opened, and swallowed her. The mother dropped to her knees, and sobbed loudly, screaching at C.haos, cursing him for the town to hear.
C.haos grinned, obviously excited by this reacting. The fear. The hatred. He slowly walked towards the women, "Don't worry," he cooed, "You will be reunited with them soon enough." His tail opened above her, swaying like a snake preparing to strike, but she did nothing to prevent her demise. She had nothing left to lose.
His tail shot downward, devouring the woman. C.haos rubbed his stomach again as he turned to where the man had been thrown to. He slowly stood up, bleeding from a steel bar through his chest, "I'll... Kill... You..." He weezed, but C.haos pointed a palm to him.
"I can't even use your energy... Pathedic waste of air..."He grinned sadisticly once again before firing a blast at the man. It his, tearing him to pieces, along with the building behind him, which went crashing to the ground. C.haos looked even more like a monster, in the rain and dust from the building, than he had before as he stood there, admiring his work.

By the Gods this girl was skittish! Amaranth could only try to hide her amused smile as the girl let out stream after stream of stuttering. But what was entertaining became quite annoying after the sudden scream. The girl let out a little one of her own, cowering and saying something about not having anything. Amaranth turned to her, eyes narrowed.
"Oh shut up for a second will you!" she snapped. This was no time for this girl to go all weepy on her. Did she not hear that scream just moments before?! And did she really think Amaranth was going to steal from her?!?! These Earthlings get stranger and stranger every day. A loud yell cut through her thoughts. It was the voice of a boy, his words echoing through the building to them. Slipping out a dagger in in each hand, Amaranth turned to the girl.
"You have two options. Either stay here and hide, or come with me and try not to get in my way," she said as another scream from outside cut through her words. The screams were getting closer, more desperate. Whirling around, Amaranth turned away from the opening and the girl, making her way farther into the building to follow the other voice. She didn't bother to see if the girl followed her or not. At this rate, it'd be hard to say where she was better off. Maybe outside if she was able to avoid whatever was causing them.
Rounding a corner, Amaranth came upon a boy who appeared no older than 16 or 17. Lightning flashed, illuminating the scene before her. He had pitch black hair and deep, dark brown eyes. He was dressed pretty casually in something much better suited for the rain than that other girl. A pure white bird sat on his shoulder and he appeared to be polishing a sword. Amaranth walked over, wary as ever.
"So, are you polishing that for the heck of it, or cleaning blood off?" she asked, raising a brow. While it was a normal thing for people to carry weapons on them back home, she had noticed this was not the case on Earth. It seemed those who did were fighters and killers, though it was often hard to judge which was which. She continued to watch him, blue eyes taking him in as her tail whipped back and forth behind her.

The boy looked up from the sword, an alien woman stood in front of him. "It was my father's sword before his murder. I polish it when I think of him, and of his advice." he said, standing up. he unwrapped his Saiyan tail from his waist. "so who and what are you?" he asked, though he thought about how she would react to a Saiyan Hybrid in the same room. "My My, who is this Draxor?" the raven on his shoulder asked, Draxor seemed irritated at the bird. "Syrus, please keep your beak shut." he snapped at the raven. "Well since you already heard the Raven, I'll introduce myself. I am Draxor Zexal, Son of the Saiyan Makano Zexal. my mother was human, and i have a younger sister as well." he said standing proud. there was another presence in the building. "the raven is Prince Syrus, Legendary prince of Ravens. The sword I have has never had blood on it." he said again sheathing the blade and letting the Alien know he would never hurt anyone without reason. "I assume your wondering about the scream outside. A bio-android absorbed an old man and we barely escaped notice." for a second, he stood silent, the android had more victims. He grabbed his sword and walked to the door. "Your little friend has a power she intends to hide. the bio android will sniff her out and you as well. my advice, take her and leave while you have a chance." he said, giving the Woman a smile. he started to walk out, but something seemed to pull him back.

In the youthful mind of sixteen year old Mesa Willow this women, was crazy. The sounds that Amaranth heard was not heard at all by Mesa. So to her this crazy lady was most likely here for a reason. She then smiled a the older female that stood in front of her. Poor thing must have lost her mind, and it is clear her metal state is unbalanced. I'm not to sure what she is planing but I'm pretty sure that I can handle my own if it comes down to it. Willow thought to herself as she slightly flared her nostrils before blowing air out of them heavily.
Amaranth or Ama, Which Mesa had nicknamed her only in her head had started to speak again. She was telling Mesa that she had two options, either option would leave her in the same predicament she is in at this moment. Suck in the future with on idea of the date, time or place. At least if she followed Ama she would be anything but bored and alone. A scream came from seemly nothing. Mesa might have screamed if Amaranth had not have went into motion so quickly. It seemed she had gotten use to the moments of this alien female. But before she could even take a step Mesa found herself four paces behind.
Rushing to caught up following her every move like a duckling following its mother. Mesa used a good amount of energy just trying to keep up with the female. Oh my she thought not only is she crazy, but she is also crazy fast. What seemed like a mile of running had come to an end as she turned the corner still running at top speed, well at least as fast as her brown slip on shoes would allow her. Before she had noticed it she had flown by Amaranth and was still running now heading toward the direction of yet another mysterious person. Planting her feet down as hard as she could attempting to stop before reaching him, she placed her hands forward as though an invisible wall was there to stop her. Like the cults she was at that age she tripped over what seemed to be nothing but air itself. Landing face first she laid there only for a second before pushing herself upward into a closed leg knee locked sitting position. embarrassed she did not say a word she just placed both palms over her face and her elbows resting on her thighs as the two older people had their chat.

Sniffing the air, C.haos paused. The debree around him had cleared, and now all that remained behind his was a ruined building. If it weren't for the city being mostly in ruins, he would have stood out like a sore thumb. As he stood there, he slowly flew into the air, a creepy stillness about him.
Staring from high above, C.haos spit, "This is beginning to grow boring... These creatures are too weak for their own good. How can I be expected to find prefection here?" A frown came over his face as he looked up and down the streets. He had frightened all of the people inside the nearby into buildings. And there was no way he was going to knock on all the doors. No, his idea was much more simple.
As the rain slid off his skin, a grin returned to his face. His arms lowered from his chest, and arced by his sides. He slowly began to increase his power level, allowing anyone around him to be able to sense him. As he charged up, a dark aura formed around him, fading from black, to purple as it spun. Surely, this would be more than enough for the stronger "ants" to come out of hiding.
