Gerrek was still in very rough condition from his battle with the mutant insect of Vegeta's forest. He had a couple of cracked ribs, his left hip was still in great pain from having been dislocated at one point, and he had an arm sized hole in his left shoulder just below the outer edge of his collarbone. He was fading in and out of consciousness from the pain as he had no for of painkiller or sedative at the moment. His pod could soon be observed descending through the skies of Earth at impressive speed. To most his ship would look like a shooting star passing by one side of the horizon. To those close enough to view it, however, he would indeed appear to be a pod crash landing on Mount Paozu.
His ship impacted the rocky ground of the side of the mountain and implanted itself in the small crater the impact managed to make. His ship was wedged on a forty five degree slope with just enough room for the hatch to open. And though the hatch did open to reveal a red alien lizard in rough shape, said alien wasn't quite able to climb out at the moment. He was too damaged. He could only rest and hope for assistance.

Ozikai was out on a trip. He was taking a road trip across the planet he was on. He hadn’t had much time to explore the planet, and when he did have time he was usually resting from an intense training session or a recent battle. He wanted to take some time away from all the fighting and from all the beatings. He loved to fight and grow stronger but right now he just wanted to rest. He decided to take a camping trip out to MT Paozu, next to the school he trains at. He invited his young student kieroi as well so he wouldn’t be completely alone in the woods. He packed up all his equipment and left in a hurry, eagerly wanting to get down there.
He searched around the mountain for quite a while, wanting a good spot to stay the night. Ozikai was only going to be staying for a night; he didn’t want to stay away from his training for too long. After arguing for his student for about an hour they finally decided on a good spot to stay. They did some light sparing until night; he wasn’t supposed to train but it wasn’t anything that could injure him. Then he saw it. A pod was coming in fast from the atmosphere.
Ozikai told his student to stay where he was and he rushed down to the site of the accident. When he arrived at the site he could see a small pod lodged in the ground. Was this guy a friend or foe? Ozikai jumped down to find out.

Gerrek had continued to shift in and out of consciousness as he lay in the open space pod silently. His shoulder was bleeding, though not as badly as would have been expected given the arm-sized whole that pierced clean through him. He managed to snap into consciousness when the thump of Ozikai's landing startled him. He slowly leaned forward, attempting to crawl out of the pod. He heard footsteps moving slowly nearby. "Hello?" He called out as he crawled onto the open hatch of the clearly broken pod.
He rolled over on his back once again, and was now staring up at the sky. His breathing was heavy and he was sweating from the pain. His left arm was limp and his left leg seemed rather tense and swollen from the bruising. He let out a grunt as his back pressed against the steel hatch, his exposed wound touching the edge of the hatch. "Gggkkk..."

Ozikai looked inside the pod that had crash landed. He saw a man inside that had obviously had gotten injured in the crash. He definitely looked bad and Ozikai would have to get him out fast. He put his hands over the hatch of the pod and ripped it off. Then he slowly and carefully picked the man up and placed him on the ground.
The man looked even more injured now that he could see him more clearly. This guy needed some serious medical care. He helped the man get to his feet. He could not walk very well and he had to help him. He helped the man back to his camping spot, it was better than staying out there. Him and his student helped the stranger into a spare bed that they had in case they happened to come along someone who needed it.
“That looked like a pretty nasty crash that happened.”
“You look seriously hurt, me and my friend will hep you.”
“So what’s your name?”

The red lizardlike alien could not resist even if he wanted to, though he much appreciated the help that was given to him. He could only really put weight on his right leg, and putting any pressure against his left shoulder made him nearly black out from the pain. His armor was useless now as it was cracked and broken all over. How the shattered remains of the armor were clinging to him was anyone's guess. He did his best to shake his head in regards to the question about the crash. "I-it wasn't the crash...fought...a monstrous...insect." These were all the words he was able to get out.
He had to pause for breaths as they sat him down in the bed. He did his best not to move to upset his wounds. He swallowed hard before responding, "Gerrek Zig." He uttered his name before falling back into the darkness of unconsciousness. He would need treatment before he could answer any more questions.

The man was starring to mumble. He wasn’t able to get much out before he finally fell unconscious. "I-it wasn't the crash...fought...a monstrous...insect." what? Insect? This man must have been in a fight before he landed here, against some sort of monstrous insect. What kind of planet was this guy from? Whatever it was Ozikai didn’t exactly feel like a visit anytime soon.
Then he was just able to say his name before he fell unconscious. His name was Gerrek zig. What kind of name was that? He must have come from a strange planet. Ozikai let the man sleep for the rest of night. He didn’t want to interrupt him while he was recovering. This guy’s power level was one of a fighter’s standard, Ozikai could tell that.
So what was this guy doing all the way over on this planet? Ozikai guessed that his home planet wasn’t far from here, and he definitely wasn’t a native. He must have been in hurry to escape from whatever did this to him. Ozikai would find out in the morning what happened to this stranger.

Gerrek rested uneasy as he slowly healed. The first-aid stabalized his condition and kept him alive. His natural resilience and fighting spirit would be what pushed his recovery forward, though. He was a fighter just as Ozikai had suspected. He shuddered and grunted in his sleep as he couldn't move around too much. When morning came and the sunlight hit his face Gerrek's eyes opened slowly to the warmth of the sun's rays.
The alien reptile sat up too quickly, and it instantly reminded him of his injuries as a sharp pain shot through his left hip. It had been previously dislocated and the joint was bruised badly. "Ugh..Damn..." He cursed at himself for somehow forgetting something so intense as the fight he had with that giant bug. He looked around to see a campsite around him on a foreign planet. He couldn't remember where he was. This wasn't Vegeta.

Ozikai got up early and noticed that the man he had saved had also gotten up. He approached him slowly and began to speak. “So that was a pretty nasty crash you had there.” “But I think I remember you saying something about a monstrous insect?” Ozikai was very curious and he really wanted to know what had happened to this this man.
“And if you don’t mind I was also wondering what planet you were from.” Ozikai had never in his life seen a species like this one. It was a very a very interest race indeed. Ozikai was just naturally curious. He had never seen a large red lizard like this before.
He also wondered how strong this guy was. Ozikai could feel that he was stronger than himself. Ozikai enjoyed to fight people that were stronger than him. Although this guy was in no condition to fight so the chances of that happening were very slim.

Gerrek was surprised when he was suddenly questioned by a man he didn't remember seeing before. He could understand what had happened though. This man must have helped him when he got here. As the man mentioned something about crashing and a giant insect it all came rushing back to him. He nodded to the man and said, "Yeah. I had a tumble or two with one of the mutated creatures in planet Vegeta's forests. It was a rough bit of training. As for my landing, I was in too bad of shape to really guide the ship to a proper landing. I just hoped to land where someone would find me." He spoke honestly, and directly. He at least owed that to the man that had kept him alive.
When the person before him questioned where he was from he replied, "A planet called Arconia. It's a fair distance from here. Farther than Namek or Vegeta, for sure." He looked himself over after he said this to get a good look at how the damage was healing. His shoulder wound was much smaller and scabbed over, but it was still there. He still had a hole of sorts in him. Gerrek gave one more look around before he decided to ask some questions of his own. "We're on Earth, right? I think I remember setting the ship to come to Earth. What is your name, by the way?"

So the man was from planet vegeta, if he could remember correctly he was sure that’s the planet Saiyans come from. But this was just where he was, apparently he wasn’t from vegeta. So where was he from?

Arconia, he had never heard of planet before. It must have been located far away from his home planet. "We're on Earth, right? I think I remember setting the ship to come to Earth. What is your name, by the way?"
“Yes we are on earth and my name is Ozikai, I am also an alien not from this planet. “Is there anything else you would like to know?”

The man seemed genuinely interested in what Gerrek had to say. Zig was glad to oblige and answer his questions, too. I wonder where on Earth I'm at. I suppose I've escaped trouble for now. But I'm busted up pretty bad, still, and I have a LOT of training that I have to do. His mind was now processing the events of yesterday to formulate plans for today. So far he was drawing a big, fat nothing for what he could do. With his injuries he was out of luck.
"It's good to meet you, Ozikai, though I'd prefer it have been under better circumstances." He paused to try and think of any other important questions he could ask the man before they got on to other topics, if they would converse any more at all after this. After a few moments he spoke up, "Where am I on Earth? I've been here before, but I don't remember this place. What is it?" Again he kept his questions direct and to the point. He wasn't quite sure where he should go, but that didn't matter if he wasn't sure where he was at.

What is it?" so this man was on earth before, I wonder why he left? “Well right now we are MT Paozu” “I know this place pretty well my school for martial arts is here.” Ozikai’s school was just up from where they were camping. He was hoping that his master would return soon. It would help if his master was here so he could train with him. He was not that strong right now considering this stranger could beat him.
There was another thing that Ozikai was curious about now. It wasn’t really an important question he just wanted to know. “So now that you are on earth where are you planning to stay?” Ozikai wondered where this guy was going to stay here on earth, it didn’t look like he had much options.

Gerrek listened to Ozikai's reply intently, wanting to figure out exactly where he was. When the man mentioned a mountain and the word 'Paozu' Gerrek remembered seeing the mountain on the horizon when he had visited one of the cities here before. That meant he wasn't too far from civilization if he recalled correctly. Still, he wasn't in much shape to travel far at the moment. The man also mentioned a martial arts school. So he was a fighter? It wasn't until this point that Gerrek bothered to notice the man's strength. He was indeed a step above most Earthlings. Though he remembered Ozikai saying that he wasn't from Earth either.
"You are learning to fight from a specific school? I don't remember seeing fighting schools when I was here before. Then again, I guess I never really looked." Gerrek commented on what Ozikai had said as if he were thinking aloud. As he was asked about where he was going to stay he realized that Ozikai had brought up a very important question. He did not know in the slightest where he would be able to stay while he was on Earth. He contemplated a tavern or hotel of sorts, but he was short on cash. Zig shrugged at Ozi and said, "I'm not certain on that. I came here in a rush, as I'm sure you can tell."

It was quite obvious that this guy had come in a hurry. More like a crash. Now Ozikai had run out of questions to ask the man. He had found out everything he wanted to know really.
“Ok then I will let you rest now.”
Ozikai didn’t want to keep pestering the man about everything so he decided to leave him is he can rest. So what was this man really doing here? That’s what he really wanted to know. But he could find that out later. He was leaving the man alone now. Ozikai flew outside and went back to the crash site.
He picked up the pod and brought it back to his camp site. When he got back he destroyed the pod. He didn’t need people finding out about an alien. The same thing happened to him and it wasn’t good.

Gerrek was somewhat intrigued by the idea of a school for learning how to fight. He knew that children on Vegeta were trained from birth, but that wasn't like schooling at all. It was like a constant survival test. He knew Earth was a less warlike planet, so maybe their methods were in the same boat. Still, he had to find out to know for sure.
When Ozikai mentioned letting him rest Gerrek merely nodded. He was still tired to some degree, though not as far as sleep went. His body was just exhausted from working so hard to heal. He watched Ozikai fly off and then return with his pod in hand. The pod was on its last legs anyway, so when the alien destroyed it Zig said nothing against him.
"So what of this fighting school you're training at? It teaches you a specific style of fighting? Or specific techniques and principles? What is it, exactly?" Just as he had done so far, Gerrek kept his words direct and on target for what he wanted to know.
