A Battle in the Forest [Xanden Vs. Masuta, DONE]

Xanden sat underneath a large tree, as the sun beamed down on hi from above. Getting back into training was harder then Xanden expected, but it after a day or two Xanden would most likely be already back into his old roots, ready to train non-stop. The fight with interrupted Xanden's training regimen, and he was eager to start training again. As the forest continued to stay calm and peaceful, with birds chirping off in the distance and the sun beaming down to the forest below, Xanden stood up and started to head towards his camp site. It was near night time, and Xanden needed rest anyhow. As he began to walk around the forest, Xanden realized how much damage the rocks from the training months before had done to the area. Trees lay everywhere, collapsed into pieces, along with the ground being torn up and damaged. Along with today's training many of the remaining trees were also burned or blown up, adding much more damage to the forest.

"Hmph, looks better anyhow..."

Xanden then jumped into the air, and started to fly towards the camp site, eager to begin training once again.

Masuta stood up on top of the hillside resting after his intense training he had been fighting his way through an entire city, the underground is a tough place to fight. he sat down blue some steam out of the holes in his head.

Suddenly Masuta looked up to see a warrior flying through the air, but it was to dark to see who it was. He had a familiar power level Masuta would give this one a run for his money. and with that Masuta took off following the fighter.

"Alright buddy lets see what you got i've been bored for a while now." Masuta said with a smirk.

Xanden flew through the forest, preoccupied by his deep thoughts. His training would have to get even more harsh after today if he wanted to gain decent power, and catch up to the other fighters that were scattered across the galaxy. The air breezed past Xanden, as he flew over the thousands of trees throughout the forest. It would be impossible for Xanden to know where his site was, with all the trees around in the forest, that is if his site trees didn't have a giant X burnt onto them.

Xanden flew down to after finding the marked spot, and shortly afterward he began to sit down on a log, located next to a small handmade fireplace, as he reached into his bag for a oddly shaped jar with a bamboo-flavor-like drink from his home planet. Xanden open it up by twisting the lid off, letting the earthy scent come from the drink.

As Xanden took a sip, he noticed a familiar pink blob that had started to fly down from above, to Xanden's campsite and landed a good distance away from where Xanden sat.

Xanden finished another sip, as he slowly began to think of what to say.

"..Your that guy...from the meetings at the ruins, right?" Xanden took another sip, as he tired to think of the blob's name, but currently Xanden was to tired to even think about the matter. The drink would take a minute to kick in, so Xanden just said the first name that came to mind, trying to put the least amount much stress on his brain as h could. "Masto was it?" Xanden then threw his jar at a nearby tree, and upon impact it broke into pieces, as the few remaining drops of green liquid oozed down the bark.

Xanden was quite interested in the creature, and wondered who he was, and why he was here.

"So...is there a reason you came here?"

"So...is there a reason you came here?"

Masuta heard this and smiled, he new this one the guy he had shown up when meeting sameal. Masuta then noticed the cup this... panda was holding, he never asked this creature its name. But more important the cup... it was full of something that smelt... delicious. Masuta wanted some but he wasn't exactly sure how to introduce himself.

He crossed his arms and faded behind this panda then tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hello again, the names Masuta but i don't believe i got yours, and although i don't want to be a begger would you mind of i had some of this... drink"

Masuta said with the most creepy smile he could mustur. For dramatic effect he twisted his neck in a full circle.

Xanden was shocked. Not by how the blob moved his neck or how he smiled or even how the heck he got behind Xanden so fast, but how he wanted one o the drinks. Xanden looked up at the tree he had recently thrown a jar at, which now had the green slime had now stopped dripping off the bark and had now left a green mark onto the tree, and then at his bag. After searching in his bag for awhile, Xanden reached in and grabbed a drink and then threw it at the creature. After then he began to lift his hands up at the fireplace and then shot a small ki blast. Within moments a small fire was created, warming and pleasing Xanden. After a short (and awkward) moment of silence, Xanden began to speak again.

"Well, you sure seem far from your home, wherever your home is." Xanden then looked down at the fire, as the memories of his own home planet began to resurface. The burning planet, Suki's men killing his loved ones, and Xanden being powerless to do anything. After shaking his head, and breaking this train of thought, Xanden looked up at the creature once more, and began to change the subject. "You still haven't answered. Why are you here?"

Masuta lashed out his toung pulling the drink into his mouth, then licking his lips as he watched xanden light his fireplace. Masuta was barely impressed he could burn a forest down with a kiblast like that, but he desided to just show his power back. he faked a sneeze blowing the fire out in the fireplace. then looked back at xanden smiling.

"You still haven't answered. Why are you here?"

Masuta raised his eye brow and crossed his arms looking at xanden, then cleared his throat.

"Where i come from and why im here is not important, but if you must know im here because you intregue me. your power could be used to help me. Your not as nieve as the others i've faced, but more importantly i want to face you, i think we could both gain from this but before we do that, tell me where are you from and why are you here?"

Masuta crossed his legs and start floating in a sitting position then he started whistling a tune from his favorite show "Dr. Slump" waiting for xanden answer.

Xanden stared at the creature, trying to figure out what had just happened.

"Did he...just...use his tongue?"

The pink blur that came out of Masuta's mouth had come and gone to quick too see what it was, thus making to hard for Xanden to place just exactly what it was.

After a short while of awkward silence Masuta spoke again, in a voice that would send chills down a normal man's entire body.

"Where I come from and why I'm hear is not important, but if you must know I'm here because you intrigue me. Your power could be used to help me. Your not as nieve as the others I've faced, but more importantly I want to face you. I think we could both gain from this...but before we do that, tell me where are you from and why are you here?"

Xanden stared at the blob for a moment before answering. In his normal state Xanden would've already smashed this guy to a bloody pulp, but Xanden was too exhausted to even try. The training had took it's count on Xanden's body, and he needed rest.

"...I come from a planet far away, but it was destroyed because of an overlord's takeover for resources." Xanden the started to look up from the fire, and right into the creature's eyes. "But as far as training goes, you've wasted your time. I am in no shape to spar right now, and what I need is rest...

Xanden wasn't sure how Masuta would react to hearing of Xanden not being able to spar at the moment, but he was sure if anything it would anger the fighter. Xanden looked down at the fire once more, waiting to hear the pink blob's response.

"But as far as training goes, you've wasted your time. I am in no shape to spar right now, and what I need is rest...

Masuta raised his eyebrow, this warrior was backing down? Someone like him turning down a fight? a fight against Masuta of all people, Masuta was now angered but he wouldn't just lash out and kill the poor boy of no... he would have some fun first. Masuta stepped back and started raising his power level at a consistent rate preparing for the fight he wanted.

"I'm sorry Xanden i think you miss understood me you said we were training, correct? i said i would fight and we could both gain from this, i didn't give you an option. But if you wanna back down i could always just have an early breakfast..."

Masuta then flew into the air and started making a Ki ball he was gonna get a fight out of this one weather one of them died or not.

Xanden ignored the demon for a moment, as he looked through his bag for another to drink. It looked as if he was right about how Masuta would react thou, and after telling Xanden that he had not come all this way to learn he had just wasted his time, Masuta stepped back and slowly started reveal his power. It was obvious that he was much more powerful than Xanden in his normal form, but if transformed Xanden was sure he wouldn't have a problem dealing with the pink freak.

After finding a drink in his bag, Xanden slowly opened the jar, and slowly took a sip. Xanden then looked up to the blob,who was currently flying around Xanden, charging a large ki attack in his hand.

Xanden just looked up at the creature, waiting for the drink's effects to kick in, and preparing to move out of the way if Masuta let his ki attack loose.

Masuta being oblivious, launched the ball of energy at xanden then faded behind xanded and tried to elbow him in the neck, then kicked off of Xanded and landed behind him. Then he stood up straight and started waving the bag Xanden was holding. He had stolled the bag and was now starting to burn it by coating his hand in ki and squezzing the bag. He looked back at xanded and started flying upwards.

"If you havn't noticed i have no tolerance for stalling, i know you can be stronger, so show me what you got!"

Masuta dropped the ashes that were left of the bag then he started charging his ki waiting to face the true power.

Xanden looked up, just in time to see the incoming blast. Xanden jumped as high into the air as he could, barely doodging the blast. Xanden landed onto the group, a few meters away from where he was previously sitting. Suddenly Masuta appeared in front of Xanden, elbowing him in the neck and then fading away. Xanden stood up once more, brushing the dirt off his shoulder, looking up at Masuta who was currently holding Xanden's bag in one hand, holding it up to taunt him.

Then out of nowhere, Masuta burned Xanden's bag.

"If you haven't noticed I have no tolerance for stalling, I know you can be stronger, so show me what you got!"

Masuta then dropped the ashes of the bag and began to charge, as Xanden just stood still too tired to even move.

Masuta was even more angered now as he watched xanden catch his breath, he thought this fight might make him sweat but it was turning out to be a slaughter fest. Oh well at least he could have dinner tonight and alien panda was a rare delecasey for him. Although Masuta wanted some sort of alliance with this creature something that would guarantee help if something bad were to happen a... friend of sorts. But it was to late for that Masuta's anger at Xanden's weakness form was starting to over power him.

"You arogant fool! You will regret not showing me your true power!"

Masuta then launched himself at xanden with a the energy he had stored then shouted "Berserker Beam!" as he blasted a beam of purple ki at xanden.

Xanden jumped to the side, barely dodging the large energy blast shot at him. Xanden only had seconds to catch his breath, and even then the Majin was coming straight at him. Then something remarkable happened, something that would definitely turn the tables to Xanden's favor; the drink's effect kicked in. Withing seconds Xanden was restored to feeling fully awake and alive, energy flowing throughout his entire body, and as Masuta came charging at him Xanden jumped high into the air with his leg stuck out, flying towards Masuta. Before Masuta could react the kick landed, forcing Masuta's face to curl backwards, almost like wet gum.

Soon the two fighters landed back onto the ground, as Masuta's face returned to it's normal state. Xanden glared at the pink blob, only a mile or two away, trying to figure out what the hell he was. Masuta returned the glare with an evil smirk, as he clinched his fists as energy started to steam out from them.

"Wha-What is he? His body is like...gum..."

Xanden's train of thought was quickly broken by Masuta's cold, heartless voice, sending chills down his spine as Masuta yelled at him.

"I'M DONE WITH THIS! I THOUGHT YOU COULD BE SOME SORT OF HELP TO ME, BUT EVEN AT FULL POWER YOUR JUST A LITTLE PIECE OF TRASH! YOU CAN RUN LIKE THE LITTLE PANDA MAN YOU ARE OR FIGHT, EITHER WAY I'M GOING TO KILL YOU HERE AND NOW!!!"

Masuta slowly lifted up his fists, letting two large beams of energy shot at the panda man. Xanden was quick to react, placing a hand in front of himself, slapping the energy blasts in two random directions, forcing Xanden's body to be sent back a bit, forcing dust to come up a bit. Xanden looked up at the creature with a serious expression, only to find Masuta laughing gleefully at the battle.

"YES! YES! You sure are something! Of course those blasts were supposed to be easy to dodge but still, they're quite powerfu-"

Masuta looked up to find the panda man coming in for a punch, flying at him with his fist stuck out. Masuta laughed a little as he grabbed Xanden's fist, slowly tightening his grasp. Xanden tired to break free, but Masuta's grip was to strong, and this seemed to bring the monster much pleasure.

"Come on. Give me something to work with..."

Masuta then kneed Xanden in the gut, and then threw him to the ground. Xanden tried to get up, but the Majin was to quick and placed his foot on top of him to quick, trapping Xanden.

"...It seems your right...this was a waste of time..."

Masuta lifted his fist once more, as energy slowly started to build up around it. Within moments another energy blast was shot, and upon impact the ground broke into a large carter, leaving dust and dirt in the air for a sort while, then after a few seconds the air returned to it's normal state. Masuta hunched over the crater, hands on his hips, looking for any remains of the panda fighter. After seeing he couldn't find any, Masuta turned and began to walk away. He then afterward interrupted by a small ki blast to the back.

"WHAT THE..."

Masuta turned around to see Xanden with his hands his pant's pockets, jacket and hair blowing freely in the wind, as Xanden smirked a cocky smirk at the creature.

"HOW DID YOU...?"

"Hmph. Your really think you could rid of me that easy?" Xanden then quickly took his hands out of his pockets, getting into a basic battle pose with his fists in front of him and feet placed evenly on the ground. "Now, let's finish this so I can get back to my training..."

Masuta was startled by Xanden's sudden want for battle, but then slowly turned back into his cocky grinning form, eager to see how this battle turned out. For a moment, the warriors just looked at one another, as the air breezed past the two of them. Then the two took off, flying through the air and charging at one another with a flurry of punches and kicks, destroying much of the area around themselves. The two fighters landed on the ground once, then charged at each other again, both ready to end this battle.

Xanden came rushing in with a punch to Masuta's face, but he was quick to dodge, and quickly got out of the fist's way, and appeared behind Xanden. Xanden turned around to see the pink blob taunting him, obviously taking this as nothing but a game. Xanden quickly threw another punch at the Majin, but he just moved to the side, dodging the punch effortlessly. Xanden started to grow bored of this, anger swelling through him. He was not be used by this pink freak, and would not be called a weaker being. The panda man quickly threw another punch, out of his pure rage, trying to hit the creature. Of course, the creature was to fast and, not only did he dodge the punch, he moved faster then Xanden could see behind him.

"...Well then. If that's all you got th-"

Before Masuta could finish his sentence, Xanden threw a lighting quick wave of kicks and punches, most aimed at his gut, and after all Xanden had used up all his energy he upper cut the blob up into the sky, then put his hands together, jumped high into the air next to Masuta, and smacked the Majin down onto the ground. Xanden floated down onto the ground once again, huffing and puffing as he tired to catch a breath, getting back into his battle pose, as in front of him Masuta tired to get off the ground. Shortly afterwards Masuta had gotten back onto his feet, and was ready for more. He lifted his hand and made a motion with his hand telling Xanden to come at him, as he slowly began to smirk once more.

Xanden rushed forward, using his power of flight to propel him towards Masuta faster, as he put one hand in front of himself to aim and another behind him, gaining momentum for a powerful punch. As Xanden came charging forward, Masuta stood with his arms crossed, grinning like the freak he was. Xanden thrust his fist into Masuta's gut with all the power he could muster, shocking the Majin that the panda still had such hidden reserves of power.

Xanden wiped his hand across his mouth, soon putting it by his side as a fist. "That's it Masuta. I'm done. You can leave now, and walk away alive, or be killed on the spot." Xanden meant every single word. If this freak didn't go away right now, Xanden would have to resort to desperate measures.

Of course, the Majin didn't take it seriously. He just laughed as loud as he could, and then the began to get serious again, with a hint of cocky hidden in his glare. "Heh, I'm not leaving so I guess you have to 'kill me on the spot'" Masuta then lifted his fists up for Xanden to see, as a purple aura started to appear around them.
"That is...if you survive this!" Suddenly the aura got stronger, much easier to see from where Xanden stood.

Xanden quickly reacted by leaning forward, ready to charge at any given moment, as he started to store energy in his nostrils. He glared at the Majin who just smirked at him, ready to finish this once and for all.

"Okay then little panda man, let's end this." By this time, Xanden was already charging at the Majin, fist straight out in front of himself, as the energy around his nostrils became much more dense, with two green orbs around them. Masuta's fists had gained enough energy, and it was time to land the move. "...BESERKER...." Xanden was halfway where Masuta stood, the energy now into two little hairs coming out. "HANAGE..."

Then almost at the exact same time the two fighters yelled at once, screaming as loud as they could; "...BEAM!!!" "...WHIP!!!"", as Xanden's energy turned into two large and long energy nose hairs, and Masuta shot out a beam of energy from his fists at Xanden. Suddenly the beam came straight at Xanden, brining much glee to Masuta. But before the beam could hit Xanden placed his hands in front of himself, and as the beam came at him Xanden forced it back with the force of the speed Xanden had from running towards Masuta. The beam started to overcome the panda man, then Xanden overcame the beam, then beam had the upper hand once more, back and forth, back and forth, Then Xanden threw all the force he had into his fists, slowly pushing the beam back. Masuta started to laugh. He felt as thou he had won, seeing as how there was no way Xanden could win at his current state. But then Xanden threw the blast back at Masuta, finally overcoming the beam, as he then ran towards the Majin with his fist out, and nose hairs ready to cut, Masuta placed his hands in front of himself, trying to overcome the beam like before. Masuta was about to push it away, but Xanden came and started to push the beam towards Masuta, as Masuta pushed it towards Xanden.

The result was dirt and dust flying everywhere, covering the entire forest. For seconds the air was filled, until the dust finally cleared leaving the victor of the battle standing above the dead remains of the loser, as their body lay in a newly made crater. As the panda man huffed and puffed from his recent win,now covered in pink goo, he looked down at Masuta, who lay with a giant hole in his gut.

"Hmph...That wasn't...so tough..."

And then, out of pure exhaustion, Xanden fell into the crater, and onto Masuta's remains.

(Masuta gave me permission in real life to kill off his Majin, seeing as how he quit the site, and I decided to since it'd be odd for a Majin to just disappear...)
