Tropical Encounter 2

Ozikai plan had worked.
The man was now running towards him.
But then Ozikai remembered something.
He was only stronger in his rage form.

He could not finish that thought because the attacker was now running toward shim at full speed.
He kicked Ozikai’s barrier and it shattered.
Ozikai feel down and hit the ground hard.

Ozikai was down but his attacker wasn’t, Ozikai rolled across the ground trying to escape.
He jumped up and flew into the sky.
But he wasn’t escaping he was now thinking up ideas about what he could do.
He had dug himself into a hole that he could not get out of.

Now he thought of something.
He fell to the ground slowly.
He was now smirking once more.
He began to run into the forest.
He now knew how he would beat this man.

[Zach]

Succeeding in smashing through the other’s shield and landing his double kick to the blue haired man’s chest, Zach dropped to the ground and watched as his opponent tumbled from the impact. He could be sure but it looked like the man had dropped out of his transformed state before the strike. The action was bewildering to say the least and Zach couldn’t figure out why he’d do such a thing unless it could only be maintained for very short periods at a time.

Never the less, tat didn’t stop him from stalking after the man who seemed to be craving a beating. The other though leapt up into the air, presumably to avoid him, hovered for a short moment and then descended. The erratic movements and unpredictable behavior of his opponent was starting to greatly confuse Zach. Either this guy wasn’t taking the fight seriously or had no idea how to keep his opponent engaged. Still, when the other started to run for the jungle, Zach pursued cautiously.

“Hey, get back here!” the teen yelled. “You started this fight, now you’re going to run away?” Zach added as he ran after the blue haired young man.

Ozikai knew that his student was a rule breaker.
He could feel his Ki though out the entire battle.
There he was he could see him standing there.

Kieroi thought that he was going to get told off but instead was given a signal to extend his leg pass the opening.
Kieroi did not fully understand why he had to do this but he did it.

The man was still coming so Ozikai had some time.
He flew onto the top of a nearby tree and began to charge up a Ki ball in both hands.

Kieroi was nervous.
If there was a fighter running through the forest and he was after his master then this would be his first real fight.

When Ozikai was sparing with Kieroi, he could feel that his master was holding back on him but he knew this man wouldn’t.

Now they waited for the man to came and to fall into their trap.

Following pretty close behind the other man, Zach arrived only seconds after his opponent passed his partner. Zach might not have been the brightest bulb in the box, but he wasn’t stupid and could see the other boy’s leg sticking out from a mile away. Drawing to a halt next to the tree, Zach stared the young man down and put his hands back on his hips.

“Honestly? He’s leading me to you?” Zach grumbled. “Look at you, you couldn’t take me in my sleep.”

Zach was disappointed to say the least, not only had his opponent fled, but he led him strait to another young man who was even less capable then him. Frankly he didn’t know what to do, both of them were now quite obviously in over their heads and he had no desire to beat the snot out of two kids who didn’t know any better.

“Ok, where’s your buddy?” the blonde asked and continued to stare the kid down.

Ozikai could see how his plan had failed.
This man was smarter than what Ozikai took him for.

But what the man did not realise is that he was waiting for him.
Only half of his plan had failed.
Ozikai was looking straight down at his friend as his foe.

He would have to be careful now; he did not want to make a sound.
It was his decision that the boy joined so he was his responsibility.

The man was talking to his student which was a good distraction.
He was done charging up his Ki and was ready to attack.

He slowly moved across the tree so he could get in position.
He did not want to hurt his student so he would have to aim carefully.
When he thought he was in the right spot he fired his Ki aimed directly for the strangers head.
Now it was time to finish this battle.
Ozikai had grown bored of this.

[Zach]

“Well, come on, out with it.” Zach prompted the other boy, but the other didn’t seem to be talking. He was about ready to threaten the teen in hopes of forcing the answer out of him when there was a disturbance overhead. Zach looked up quickly but not quickly enough as the disturbance he’s noticed was the launching of a ki ball. The blast smashed the blonde right in the face and landed him on the ground a few feet away on his back.

Zach wasn’t sure what just happened, to his knowledge he’d only ever taking a ki blast to the face once before and didn’t remember is clearly enough to know if that’s what just happened. Whether or not it was in fact a blast to the face was a moot point, it had happened and for the moment the blonde was sprawled out on his back, trying to get his vision to straiten out.

Ozikai’s plan ad worked, well at least this part of it did.
Now the man was lying on the ground but he was slowly getting up.
Ozikai would have to move fast.
Ozikai signalled to his student to help.
They both gave him a punch in the stomach to keep him down a little longer.

Then Ozikai spotted his sword.
He grabbed it and pulled it out of the tree.
Ozikai had to move faster or else the man could strike.
He turned to the man who was dazed.

He pulled his sword up to his throat.
“So what’s it going to be giving up or meet my blade?”
Ozikai had the battle practically won now.

[Zach]

Zach’s vision was just starting to clear as he laid prone on the ground when the first of two punches impacted his stomach. The first was laughably weak and presumably was from the boy he’d run into. The second though was decided stronger and knocked a good breath of air out of the teen’s lungs. Still, other then being unprepared for the strike, the blow lacked the kind of strength needed to keep Zach down and the boy would have been content to let them keep trying all day. Then his opponent made a big mistake and went to get that damn sword again. He returned moments later and pointed it at the blonde’s neck, threatening him with an ultimatum to surrender.

“As if, only cowards fight with weapons and I’d never surrender to one.” Zach retorted. Acting quickly, the boy brought his arm rocketing up in an arc, not to hit his opponent, as he was just out of reach, but rather to bat the sword to the side with the energy bracer protecting his forearm. He intended to then immediately fire off a burst of his capacity to fly and send himself skidding on his back about twenty feet away to escape reprisal while he climbed back to his feet.

Ozikai was at a loss for words.
He had tried his hardest to beat this man but Ozikai knew when he had lost.
He looked down at the man.

This battle was over.
But Ozikai was not mad at all.
He helped the man to his feet and laughed.

“Wow you are a really strong fighter.”
“I thought that I had you for a second but you keep going.”
“I hope I can become as strong as you one day but for now I am going to help my student.”
“I hope to meet up with you another time and we can continue.”
“For now I have to go.”

Ozikai helped up his student and they left for home.

Managing to slide himself far enough away to get back up without another attack, Zach stood and watched at his opponent helped the younger kid up whom Zach had apparently knocked down in his escape somehow. The blonde stared at the other man as he admitted defeat and praised him for his strength, not sure if it was another ploy. Honestly, this fight was just strange, they could have had him there while he was on the ground but didn’t press the advantage, and the man’s earlier erratic fighting had been the deciding factor in his apparent loss.

Zach didn’t like to win like this though, he much preferred a solid, concrete victory, like knocking his opponent our, not then giving up out of the blue and running off. That was exactly what was happening though as the blue haired man and his lackey took off. Zach remained silent, still not entirely convinced it wasn’t another attempt at a trap. Once they were out of sight though he started back for the beach, keeping a watchful eye on the sky to ensure they didn’t come back. Eventually he relaxed and returned to his swimming but the strangeness of the encounter stuck with him.
