(This happens after the Koyuki thread)
Voices were talking in Serori's head, mere whispers, sometimes heard, sometimes not, though she could never tell what they were saying. She had tried ignoring them, shutting them out. Meditating, busying herself, keeping herself thinking, nothing worked. But worst of all, the voices were getting louder.
Eventually Serori could tell there were three distinct voices, two males and a female, although was still unable to understand them. But she persisted in her natural daily life, not letting them bother her. And they did not impede her work, rather, it made her do her work better, to try to avoid hearing them. Mrs. Miranda was thoroughly impressed by the amount of work Serori was able to get done. While she normally did more than an average worker, these days she was doing more.
However, along with the voices came ghosts. Every once in a while, Serori would see the faint shadow of someone out of the corner of her eyes, and when she looked there was nothing. What didn't help was the voices still getting louder and louder, not by much, a miniscule amount ever day. But now loud enough for Serori make out some of the words. Words like 'kill', and 'us'. This needed to come to a stop.
She left the shop, told Ms. Miranda she'd be gone for a few days, maybe even more, and flew back to Wonder Island, but as she approached the voices gradually grew louder, as if attracted to the Island. Last time Serori had come here, she'd made a new technique, and created her own cave behind a waterfall. She went back to this cave, landing in the entrance. It hadn't been too long since then, but she couldn't be too careful. Holding her right hand up, first finger pointing, left hand grasping her wrist, she slowly walked to the back of the cave. Oddly enough, there was nothing in here still, but that was fine with the young Saiyan woman.
She sat down in the same spot as she had previously, closed her eyes, and concentrated. She could make out ghosts of shapes, hear the whispers, and that was what she wanted gone. She created new barriers, walls to keep them out, whoever they were. After all, this was her own head, and the only voice she should be hearing was hers. This only seemed to make things worse, for no sooner had she thought herself finally rid of them, than they came back, louder than before, saying "You killed us," "Your own family", "We took care of you, when no one else would," "Daughter, I am disappoint." Serori screamed, opened up her eyes, and there were the bleeding, messed up bodies of her family, standing before her, accusing her.
"I had too!" Yelled Serori, and swiped at them with her arm, which just passed through, and they dissipated like gas. She turned to the front of the cave, to leave, and there they were also, pointing at her. Serori shot ki blasts at them, but those only went through as well.
"AAAAAAAHHHHH!"
She flew through them, out of the cave, flew higher and higher. "IT WAS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!" she screamed to them behind her. But they were right there, everywhere she was. Tears streamed down Serori's face, this was the nightmare of nightmares. She flew back to her old home, grasping her head.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Pulling one hand down, and pointing it at the already half destroyed house, she released her new ki blast, completely decimating the home, and a good portion of land behind it. But the voices, now louder than ever, were still persistent, and the bodies of her family were still there, still pointing, still shouting. "Why did you do it?!"
"We loved you!"
"You killed us"
"Your own family."
Serori's face took on a frenzied look, eyes wide, teeth bared, hair all over the place. "I WILL FINISH YOU! YOU WILL ALL BE GONE!" She jumped into the air, smiling maniacally, laughing evilly. "I KNOW SOMETHING YOU DON'T!!!" She charged up her ki blast, hands held to the air, rising higher and higher, until the whole of Wonder Island was in her sight.
What did she have to live for? She'd killed her real parents, probably slaughtered a bunch of people when she first went Oozaru, killed her earth parents and brother, couldn't find a dragonball for Suki, and was one of his weakest soldiers. She had nothing, and nothing was coming to her. So what if this attack might kill people? So what if it kills her? The only thing she had going for her...
Pointing her hands down, still gathering energy, she powered herself up into her kaioken, and uttered her last words of the day.
"I'M STILL ALIVE!!!!"
She released the blast, and watched as if in slow motion the conic blast left her hands, and oozed toward the tree line. At first it looked like the trees would stop it, but it pushed through, sending splintering wood everywhere. The trees collapsed under the strength of the attack, and didn't stop it at all. It continued all the way through, until it covered the entire island, decimated everything about Wonder Island. Except...
When it had finally dissipated, gone its full length, what was left was a tiny spot of land, big enough for five people to stand on comfortably. Serori landed, dumbfounded by what she had just done.
(Only the portion of the island that had her house, school and parts of her childhood as well as the part with the jabberwock were destroyed)
