Training with Kris (III)

Kami motioned his right hand downward to show Kris that he was not hostile, and then turned back around to walk further away from the building and deeper into the chamber. After a few moments of wandering he stopped and turned back around to face the no doubt confused and eager Kris.

"Nehan, I have decided that you are ready to learn my original technique"

Kami held out his left hand, which was now fully healed from the last time he had used his Bikkuri, and and put it face up, as a small ball of green energy began to form, no bigger than the average gumball. Kami spoke.

"This is the Bikkuri Sho, Its power is intense, and is capable of destroying even the strongest opponents if in the right hands. However Nehan you have seen the drawbacks, the intensity of the attack, the effect it has on the user. Using it for to long can prove a deadly gambit. So Nehan are you ready?"

Kris realized that they weren't going to fight this time, and lowered his guard hesitantly. It wasn't easy to drop his guard, as he had been living and breathing combat for a few months now. He watched Kami walk out into the main chamber and inform him that he would learn Kami's original technique. Kris quickly ran to Kami and sat down in front of him, eager to learn.

He watched as Kami held out his hand, which was no longer scarred with a black tint. He watched Kami curiously as Kami held out his hand, a green orb of energy soon materializing above it. Appearently, this was the Bikkuri Sho, but it looked different than when Kami used it before. Kris listened to Kami's speaking with an eager ear. After Kami asked him if he were ready, he stood up promptly. "Yes, master. If you're ready to teach, I'm ready to learn."

Kami nodded as Nehan responded with an affirmative answer. This would be the first time Kami had ever passed down his Bikkuri, and hopefully the last. However with creatures like Meishi on the loose, it was understandable that Kami would want to pass on his technique. After all its power and intensity would no doubt rip anyone apart given the opportunity.

The small green ball lowered into the palm of Kami's hand, and as if it was melting, began to cover his hand like a glowing green glove. Kami then put his hand out like he had in the earlier battle and began to speak.

"First things first, The Bikkuri is your natural energy, like any Ki attack, however it is unique that it draws on the good in your body. So the first thing to do is charge it in one hand, preferably your dominant one"

As the energy began to glow, it seemed to move slowly up his arm as if consuming it in the glow. once it reached the elbow a small bit of electricity could be seen running up his arm.

"Now that you have concentrated it into your arm, you will need to charge it"

Kami began to move his arm, slowly in a circular motion, the more he moved the brighter the glow grew, and eventually the small energy had created rings around his arm, still glowing rapidly.

"Normally this....Is when you would tranfer to your other arm...however....You must master it one handed first..."

The energy spiked, and could easily be felt by Nehan. The sheer sight of it was difficult to view. The bright energy began to illuminate the entire room, and this is when Kami would release his attack.

"The longer you charge, the more powerful the attack, however be warned, if you use a stronger attack, be prepared to lose your arm like I did, often the damage is not permanent however."

Kami's words were broken by heavy breathing, he was clearly concentrating on this mass of Ki, and the power flowing throughout the room was evidence of that.

"And so, now that it is here, you can use it physically or.."

Pointing his arm off into the distance the Kami lets out a loud grunt, and the Bikkuri flies forward into the abyss of the chamber. Off in the distance a massive explosion could both be seen and felt.

Kami's arm was not damaged, although Kami himself felt weakened by the attack, dropping to one knee breathing heavily.

"This attack should be saved as a coup de grace. Do not use it lightly, and be prepared for the after effect"

(You can charge the attack for 1-5 posts to increase its power. Having it active for more than 3 posts will cause you to lose feeling in your arms for a while, More than 5 will cause your arms to be unusable the entire fight, anymore than 6 and you lose them permanently.)

Kris watched attentively, his mind set on learning the new technique. He listened carefully to the instructions and warnings of using the Bikkuri Sho. He watched Kami seemingly absorb energy into his arm before charging it. After several seconds, the energy in Kami's arm increased dramatically. Kris stared at the Bikkuri Sho as is encompassed Kami's arm, his eyes squinting to shield them from the bright light. Eventually, Kami pointed his arm towards the distance and unleashed the technique, firing a bolt of energy and creating a large explosion. Kris shielded his face from the shockwave, his cape fluttering wildly.

Now it was Kris' turn. Without a word, he took a deep breath and extended his arm, opening his palm and facing it upwards. He focused his energy into a deep blue orb, which hovered a few inches above his hand. He then looked at Kami for approval, and possible guidance for how he should go about charging the technique.

Kami came in from behind Nehan, Placing his palm hovering below his own, and helped Nehan bring the small ball of energy to encase his hand.

Nehan would have to do this on his own, the change in color was evident that the Bikkuri could change form via its host. However the integrity of the attack would remain the same, and the power would not diminish, however Nehan's would have a blue tint to it.

"Good Nehan, channel it, help eas it onto your arm, it is no good in a concentrated form, you will need your arm to charge it."

Kami tried to Help Nehan concentrate the energy, for his first time, surely he would need some additional assistance.

Kris took Kami's lead and lowered the orb down into the palm of his hand. He slowly spread the orb over his hand, coating it like a glove. The energy started to burn Kris' skin, and he quickly got the idea. Instead of covering his arm with the energy, he had to absorb it. He gradually took the energy into his arm, causing it to fill with power. He felt his arm pulsating with Ki as he spread it further, almost half-way down his forearm.

Kris broke a sweat and started to pant. It took a lot of effort to condense this much energy and contain it in his arm without letting it burst out. After a minute or so, he managed to spread the energy all the way to his elbow. His arm glowed with an intense light, and a few electric arcs could be seen crackling from his elbow to his finger tips. Kris strained to contain the energy and looked up at Kami for more guidance on how to control the power of the Bikkuri Sho.

Taking a step back kami watched as the power of the Bikkuri was converted and grew up Nehan's arm. Yes the energy was different, however its sheer force reminded Kami of his own attack, and as the Bikkuri grew, Kami knew that Nehan had learned the technique, although he seemed nervous, the attack was complete.

"Now as you feel it, I am sure you recognize how much energy it takes to maintain, your arm may even be slightly numb being that its your first time. now once you are finished with it, you can either expel it like you would any concentration of Ki, or you can simply let it disparate."

Kami knew that the boy couldnt maintain it for long, this was no surprise to anyone. The Bikkuri was not something that was simple to master, or easy on the body, even Kami whom had known it for several decades could not do it without causing himself pain.

But Nehan would be different, the attack was now his to change and grow. Perhaps he would do something creative and amazing with the Bikkuri, something that Kami had never considered. All of this would be done in good time, surely Nehan was capable of great things with this energy

Kris listened carefully to Kami's explanation on how to proceed with the Bikkuri Sho. After hearing what Kami had to say, Kris looked back down at his arm, which was now crackling with energy. He clenched his fist and intensified the Ki output to his arm, pushing the new technique as far as he could. He gritted his teeth as he began to feel the energy take it's toll. His muscles felt as though they were being slowly damaged by the energy he allowed to flow through them. He could feel a tingling, pulsating feeling in his arm, a sign that his nervous system was malfunctioning.

He continued to strain his arm, trying to sense the limit where he would suffer from long-term damage. After about a thirty seconds of struggling, he felt his muscles begin to fail. He knew he had reached the limit. Any more intensity to the Bikkuri might cause damage to his arm similar to Kami's. Kris made up his mind that he couldn't continue and extended his arm slowly. His hand shook as he opened it and prepared to unleash the Bikkuri. After a few seconds of steadying his aim, he grabbed his right upper arm with he left hand to steady his shot, then let out a loud yell. "HAAA!", he screamed as the energy stored in his arm quickly reached maximum concentration before shooting forward into the distance.

Despite Kris' attempt to steady his arm, the resulting recoil sent him reeling backwards, causing him to land on his rear. Just a short moment later, a large explosion was felt in the distance, creating a wave of energy that would startle both Kris and Kami. The explosion was just as big as Kami's, but only because Kami had mastered the Bikkuri Sho. With Kris' higher power level, once he masters the Bikkuri, his explosive power could very well exceed Kami's in the future.

Kris panted heavily while he sat on the floor of the chamber. His right arm dangled helplessly at his side, mostly numb from the massive amount of energy that was recently stored in it.. He tried to lift it, but the result was just a series of uncoordinated twitches from his wrist and elbow. Kris gradually rose to his feet and took a few deep breaths. He then looked at Kami with a slight smirk. He was proud of himself for learning a new technique, and was sure that Kami would feel the same way.

After having learned the Bikkuri, the remaining training was combat, physical and mental. Ki and by hand.
Nehan and Kami trained for what appeared to be a years time, and after such a period of time would leave the chamber. Nehan having learned the Bikkuri, as well as having learned about himself and his past. And Kami having had the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and strength.

Yes the training had been intense, but in the end highly worth it and effective, possibly doubling Kami's strength, and without a doubt increasing Nehan's powers exponentially.

But most important of all they had grown a powerful bond. Kami finally had a defender of earth that he not only trusted with the secrets that he held, but also felt confident that he had a young man capable of defeating the evil doers of the planet. Yes having completed this training Kami had decided that Nehan would be the first of many powerful warriors to stand on the lookout, protecting the earth.

"Nehan"

Kami spoke to him on the morning they would depart, the two had been training non stop for over a years time, and it was time to explain a few things.

"I should explain to you one final effect of the chamber, You see when we leave, you will notice that nobody has known us missing, you see the hyperbolic time chamber alters time and space, and so when we return it will be as if only a day has passed for everyone on the lookout, even though we have been training for an entire year"

Giving Nehan a chance to come to terms with this strange reality he continued.

"Thusly you should know that after this training, it is my opinion that you can handle yourself, and should without a problem be able to defeat enemies even as powerful as Meishi!"

Kami meant this with the utmost sincerity. He was sure Nehan would be skeptical, but Kami was certain that even someone as strong as Meishi would be hard pressed to defeat Nehan.

"Just remember what you have learned in this year Nehan. Compassion for your enemy. That even those who do evil deserve compassion from those who can give it, and that without knowing the entire circumstance, we cannot possibly pass judgement."

This was remarking to their conversation about his father, and Nehan;s new found understanding of the saiyan race. But he continued with a less philosophical topic.

"Also remember your use of the Bikkuri, it should be used as an absolute last resort, if at all possible I would hope that you will not use it at all, but if your life, or the life of others is at stake, and you are out of options, use it well. Remembering always the toll it can have on your body"

With that Kami would escort Nehan out of the chamber, if their conversation had concluded

Kris and Kami endured harsh physical and mental training for what seemed like an entire year. Kris learned much about himself and his master, and knew that they had formed an inseparable bond of master and student. Kris prepared to leave the chamber by resting and bathing, making sure he was in top physical condition before returning to the outside world. Kris wondered how everyone had been doing at the lookout. Surely, they missed Kris and Kami, as Kris also missed his friends. He was about ready to leave when Kami approached him with some interesting news...

Kris listened to Kami tell him about an effect of the chamber not know to him previously. Kris' eyes widened as he tried to wrap his mind around the time-altering properties of the room they had spent a year in. Once they left, it will have only been a day since they departed... Kris imagined the situation may be awkward, but he kept his resolve regardless.

After his mind was boggled by the last fact, Kris listened as Kami continued by praising his new powers. Kris grinned with a confident look in his eyes as Kami's words seemed to empower him further. Kris also took what Kami said to thought, about compassion for his enemies as well as judgment. Kris nodded as he reviewed the things he learned in the past year, about his father and about the Saiyans. Finally, Kami concluded his speaking with a word of advice about the Bikkrui.

Once the talking was over, Kami proceeded to exit the chamber. Kris took a deep breath and looked back into the void one last time. Many memories were created in this chamber, and many more would soon be made back at the lookout. Kris looked at the door in front of him and grinned. He would soon be reunited with his rival and closest friend, Ba'alzamon, and his new companion Cheriko. Though to them it wouldn't seem like much of a reunion, it would be a very joyous moment for Kris. He then walked towards the door and took one final breath before stepping through, emerging back in his home world...
