Zach and Kami training 1

Zach was at a cross roads, He had finally realized that in this scenario earths safety was the main priority, now if Tenshu could instill that value into him permanently, he would have the anger controlled.

To do this he would have to give other realistic examples to provoke thought. He couldnt bank on suki being a threat forever, no there had to be something that was greater lasting than that.

Something like friendship.

"Zach, what if a saiyan were to renounce their evil aggressive ways, and fight along side the right. For instance if they helped earth fight suki, and any other evil that would do us harm. Would you hate them as well, or would their decision be enough to dissuade you from hating them"

The black and white line was become a little less obvious, could you hate someone whom was just trying to live? Could Zach hate someone who fought so desperately for the same cause?

There was only one person who knew the answer to that, and it was zach himself. The hate that he had towards the saiyans, would he direct it at an ally....At a friend?

Zach could see the circular path Kami was trying to steer the conversation in now. He’d moved just a bit too far, too quickly for his own good. Still, Zach didn’t want to hurt the other man’s feelings, in spite of the rolling waves of anger still coursing through him, so he came up with an answer that he hoped would satisfy them both.

“I’d ignore him. One exception among their entirely population doesn’t enough for me to forgive them for what they are.” the boy started and rose to his feet, getting enough of a handle on himself not to burst into another emotional geyser. “If I met him face to face… Then I guess I wouldn’t pound that face into the ground, don’t get me wrong, it would be hard not to… But I’d try to control myself. And he’d better not get in my way, if that happens, all bets are off.”

Turning back to Kami, Zach continued. “So don’t think I’m going to be even remotely friendly with this hypothetical ape of yours. Until their entire race has changed it’s simply not an option. Like I said, one exception doesn’t make a difference, he could of hit his head on a rock and been brain damaged after all.”

Kami found it oddly funny that the very example he was going to give zach only moments later, was uttered from his lips. He truly had heard the legends of son goku, and had chosen to write them off as fairy tail. Unfortunately Kami had no way of showing zach this wasnt so, and therefor would have to drop the topic all together.

" I should tell you then zach, that I have saiyans who train under me, who ultimately will help lead to Suki's downfall"

Kami was taking a large risk telling zach this, it was unkown how he would react to such news, but Kami continued quickly to get his entire statement out before being interrupted.

"...And if you can stomach training nearby them, then you are welcome to stay and grow, however I cannot have you harming them outside of training purposes. It is something you will have to control, And I have faith that you can do that"

Suki had given him an ultimatum. He would either have to put his feud with the saiyans aside while training, or find another outlet to train. And that was something Kami did not want to see.

[Zach]

Zach’s face turned beet red as Kami revealed that he presently had at least one, possibly more of those savages training with at the lookout. The darkest, most base animal part of the boy wanted to toss the poor Namekian to the ground and beat names out of him, but that urge was quickly eradicated by Zach’s self control. As much as he hated the Saiyans, he could never bring himself to harm the green man. His newly realized sense that there was something more important then his need for revenge also chimed in, telling him that it would be best if he never knew who the Saiyans were as even a temporary loss of self control could shatter his alliance with the Namekian.

“I think…” the blonde started, his voice low and strictly controlled so as to try not to convey the anger that was welling up again. “…that it would be best if you made sure I don’t find out who they are. I promised to control myself and I will try… But if I find out someone I’m working with is one of them… it will have an effect… a negative one. So for all our sakes, I don’t want to know and you don’t want to tell me.”

This was the best he could do, and for now it would have to be acceptable. Zach was a kind hearted man, who through turbulent times had turned on his better judgement. And that was not something that Kami would put against him. Zach didnt need that, he needed a mentor. Zach himself had always been the mentor, teaching others, and training. And honestly his power exceeded even that of Kami, however there was something else that Kami could teach zach.

"That is acceptable"

Kami's tone changed after that, from the serious and slightly heavier tone, back to the fun and energetic voice he had held before.

"Now, since that business is out of the way, why dont be discuss a training of a more...physical nature"

Times of darkness were upon them, and it was up to warriors like zach to step up there training, and even Kami knew his time would be coming soon. His time to fight and defend unlike any guardian had before. The end of earth as they knew it was upon them, for even as they spoke Touketsuki grew stronger, and even should he be defeated a new threat would emerge. There would not be peace on earth for a very long time.

[Zach]

Zach’s body and color started to relax as Kami spoke again, agreeing to his suggestion that it be netter that he not know who the Saiyan in their midst was. Perhaps the only good thing about them, or perhaps one of the worst, is that without those flea ridden tails, and with that unruly mess they called hair properly tamed, the aliens were indistinguishable from humans. It did put him on edge a little though that virtually anyone could be one of those monkeys, however the sobering and perhaps terrifying thought melted away when Kami’s tone changed and he brought up a subject that interested him a lot more then talking about the imagined merits of having Saiyans on Earth.

‘Training? Right after recovering from that fight, hell I’m not even recovered. But if he thinks I can handle it, I’m not going to let him down.’ Zach thought to himself.

“Ah, physical. What did you have in mind?” the teen asked and sat back down next to the Namekian.

[Geurin]

Kami rose and said with a bit of laughter

"Well I was thinking about making a mid day snack, but I fear the effort may be to taxing on my body, but perhaps together our efforts will create something delicious, for as little effort as possible"

Clearly this was a joke as Kami rose from his sitting position and held out one hand to help Zach up to his feet. They would not train today, No Kami had a plan for Zach but it could not be fulfilled while the two of them were in such poor condition, Not this was going to be a long week, but come the beginning of next, they would begin training, something fierce.

[Zach]

‘Hmmm, food. Well I guess I can try and get something in me.’ Zach thought to himself and smiled as the prospect. He didn’t want to strain Kami and seeing as he was slowly feeling better all of the time, got up on his own. He didn’t want to offend the green man either and replied explaining why he declined the helping hand.

“I don’t want to pull you down too if I trip, but thank you.” the teen stated and started off towards the building entrance with his Namekian friend, leaving the weeds he pulled behind. All he’d really had to eat was bread so he had no idea exactly what foods the lookout had available. He was strangely feeling an odd craving for eggs but wouldn’t make an issue of it. He did however want to sate his curiosity over what was available and kept up polite conversation in that area as they walked.

“So Kami, what exactly did you have in mind for dinner? Have the others eaten yet or will they be joining us as well?” the boy asked as they walked.
