The sun was just starting to peak over the horizon when Zach awoke this morning. Once again he performed his daily routine of showering and eating breakfast as early as possible to avoid bumping into anyone. Since his talk with Kami about there being a Saiyan on the team and after Nam’s effortless ascension past his own capabilities, Zach was about as alienated as one could get. He didn’t want to have anything to do with the brown haired boy, at least not until he was sure he’d surpassed him considerably and could put him back in his place. He also didn’t want to run into the Saiyan, lest he loose his already worn self control and kick the living daylights out of him.
Instead Zach had isolated himself in his daily routine, making sure to rise, eat and hit the gravity chamber before anyone else had the chance. He then made it a practice of flying out after his training to spend the day away from the lookout, or occasionally in the garden. Today though was different, he was finally going to go rummaging through all of that old stuff left outside of the gravity chamber. He made his way downstairs after finishing off and cleaning up after his breakfast and set to work at once. First to get moved aside were the chairs with the worn and tattered upholstery. Then a few end tables, a chifferobe with nothing but dead moths in it. Then finally came that tempting desk.
Pulling up one of the tattered chairs, Zach sat down and pulled out the first drawer. Nothing but a few stacks of memo pads and a box of pencils. The epic journey of discovering the long hidden treasures of Kami’s storage room went on through four more drawers, all of which contained office supplies of one form or another. Finally on the sixth and last drawer, Zach found an old calculator whose batter had long since corroded and eaten the insides of the device out, another box of pencils, in ink well and a brown glass jar full of trinkets and knick-knacks. Dumping the contents out across the surface of the desk, one item immediately caught the blonde’s attention. It was a gold and sapphire ring with diamonds on either side.
“What the?... Why would he leave something like this down here?” the teen asked himself as he picked up the ring and started to look over it’s man facets. He wasn’t an expert by any meaning of the word but the gems look exquisitely formed and cut and over all the ring had to be worth a fortune. Zach couldn’t resist it and looked up and down either direction of the corridor before slipping the ring on to see how it would look. Surprisingly though in spite of it’s obvious worth, Zach didn’t care for the blue gem, he much preferred red. Still, even though it wasn’t to his taste, it looked nice.

Jenn lay motionless staring at the ceiling of what appeared to be a massive bedroom the room looked as if it belonged in some billionaires mansion as every inch of the room was made of something expensive, the finest silks and wood for the bed, the most artistically cut tiling for the floor. But none of it was 'real' it was all more a construct created by Jenn's mind and magic, a product of several thousand years of work and at this moment Jenn didn't much care for it at all. For centuries she'd labored to make her home 'perfect' as a sort of hobby, something to distract her, first when she had nothing to do between wishes, and then when 'he' had been busy with his duties.
Now however after so long she just didn't care anymore, heck she'd been laying on the bed staring at the ceiling for the past thousand years in an effort to see if it would actually have any negative effect... it hadn't. Perhaps another thousand years would yield different results. Jenn let out a tired sigh as her mind wandered and then rather suddenly she felt... something... It had been so very long since she'd actually felt another presence, sure about a thousand or so years ago she'd felt something going on outside her ring but no contact had actually been made.
This... this was... someone was holding her ring... Before Jenn could even get to her feet the person holding her ring had 'activated' it, unlike her old bonded item the activation for the ring was simply the act of putting the ring on a bit of self-defense on Jenns part originally done on the off chance something like this happened. She had not however expected it to be THIS long. Once the ring was on the persons finger the sapphire would begin to glow and from it a eerie blue mist would rise, any attempt to remove the ring before Jenn actually got out of it would prove mostly futile short of severing it.
It would take several moments outside of the ring of mist being expelled before rather suddenly hidden by the mist a loud thud would echo through the hall as Jenn finally took form outside of her ring inadvertently remaining in the same position that she had been in. Jenn let out a groan as she lifted herself to her feet and as she did so the mist would condense and amass around her allowing Zach his first glimpse at Jenn. As she always had Jenn was almost wearing more jewlery than she was actual clothing, on each arm were several golden bracelets, each ear several earrings of varying style and adorned with colorful gems.
Aside from her jewelry Jen's clothing consisted of little more than a pair poofy pants colored a few shades of blue darker than her skin, and rather than a top of any real sort instead she wore a series of wrappings that seemed to be held on more by magic simply due to how loosely they hung, the bandages coiled up to her shoulders and down just below her belly button. Jenn looked over the man who had managed to free her from... she actually had no clue EXACTLY how long it had been as counting the days... months... years... had gotten far too tedious after a while.
Considering that she was still on the lookout that meant that there was a fair chance that this boy was likely an apprentice of the current Guardian, she knew the Earth had continued to actually HAVE guardians as her bond gave off an odd feeling whenever a guardian passed on or a new one took up the title. This young man however was not the Guardian or at the very least she was fairly certain he was not. "Hello and thank you for releasing me from my ring, I am Mahajenn De'Lashnnento, and today is your lucky day." [/i] She said giving the young man a smirk, her voice carrying a distinctly 'odd' accent to it as if she was far more used to speaking in a very different language. Jenn herself would not recognize this as she merely spoke in the language that Zach could understand best, her accent a byproduct of having stuck with a single language for so very long. Jenn wasn't sure if the young man was aware of what he had done or not but the fact that he had inadvertently or not freed her from eternal boredom meant she felt at least a bit indebted to him, and as such she would be giving the boy a 'free pass' for his first wish. She'd had so long to think up fun ways to mess with wishes but she could afford to be nice this once. If he wanted another wish she WOULD do everything in her power to mess with it, no sense letting people think that she was just going to hand out freebies now that she was back in action.[/blockquote][/color]

As Zach was looking over the ring on his finger, he noted, quite startlingly so that the center gem, the large sapphire had started to glow. Alarmed to say the least, he tried to slide the ring off but even more worryingly, it wouldn’t budge. Zach didn’t know what to do and jumped up out of his seat when the blue smoke started to stream out of the center gem on the ring. The blonde yanked a few more times but try as he might, the circlet wouldn’t move. Zach started and panic and was about to run back up the corridor calling for Kami when there was a crashing thud from within the cloud that had formed.
‘Holy cow, what the hell is going on here?’ the teen thought and backed away from the cloud, nearly tripping over one of the antique chairs in the process. It took a few moments for him to have the place of mind to actually look at what was going on rather then simply reacting to it. When he finally did get a hold of himself and the alarming blue mist stopped spewing from the ring, Zach spotted the seemingly young woman picking herself up off the floor. She didn’t waste any time in introducing herself and presented him with one of the longest if not the longest name he’d ever heard. He just stared at her a queer sort of expression, a mixture of out right confusion and disbelief at what was going on.
“Mah… Jenn… what?...” the boy managed to stammer in his confusion. “ I don’t think I’m going to remember all of that… How about just Jenn?” he asked and took a better look at her now that the mist had fully cleared.
Even though Zach didn’t go for the ladies, he knew a beautiful woman when he saw one, even when they had blue skin. She was also decked out in just about ever kind of jewelry known to man and some that weren’t. He looked down at the ring still on his finger and then back to what the childish part of his mind that remembered fairy tales was telling him was a genie. That couldn’t be true though, genies came out of bottles or lamps, not rings.

Jenn chuckled as the young man struggled to try and pronounce her name, it was actually a bit nostalgic considering 'he' had struggled just the same way when she had introduced herself. Just as Jenn was about to tell him that he could just call her 'Jenn' a nickname that she had gotten from both Samael and Earths first guardian, Zach spoke the exact same words that said Guardian had said to her. She stood there blinking several times trying to figure out if that had actually just happened. Shaking her head Jenn decided to ignore it, 'Jenn' was far easier than her full name and as well it was a fairly obvious part of her name.
"Yes that is fine, now the reason you happen to be luck is that I am a Genie." Jenn said smirking at Zach and as well hoping that the young man had some idea of what that actually meant. Genie's happened to be fairly rare but if she was not mistaken stories spread of them like wildfire... quite some time ago most of such stories were about herself. Jenn chuckled to herself over the memories that brought up before snapping her fingers causing a very comfortable chair to form beneath her just as she took a seat on what would have been air.
"Don't mind me, it's been quite some time since I've been out and about and honestly I'd rather just be sitting than standing around at the moment." Jenn said with a grin, while she was playing it off like a joke and way to show off a bit she really did feel surprisingly achy, perhaps it had been the thousand years of no-movement. Yeah if ever it came up she'd have to remember to NOT do that again if this was the end result.

Incredulous didn’t begin to describe Zach’s contradicting feelings about this young woman. She certainly fit the description of a genie and heck, even professed to being one. She arrived in the manner described in the children’s stories, with the only exception being her origin, a ring instead of a bottle or a lamp. The boy was about to ask her if she was serious when out of the blue, no pun intended, she started to sit down and an instant before she would have ended up falling on her bottom, materialized a comfortable looking armchair.
“…You… Really are a genie aren’t you?” he asked, although the point was moot. “Like in stories, granting wishes and all that?” the blond continued. Part of him wanted to believe her, part of him already did and then there was Zach’s learned side that was less certain.

Jenn chuckled as Zach asked if she really was a genie, she'd heard those words a number of times before but thankfully those were at least not specifically the words that 'he' had said. Evidently his little display of magic had not been enough to convince Zach, then humans had been getting more and more skeptical over the years so it only made sense that even a bit of magic wouldn't be enough to convince instantly. Leaning back slightly in her seat Jenn took a moment to really look Zach over for the first time, he appeared to be a rather fit young man which might actually lend to him not being one of the guardians apprentices. Over the years the guardians and there direct apprentices had focused more on purity of spirit and often lacked the time to remain more than just 'fit'. This man however most definitely worked out far more than just a bit every day.
"Yes I am though I can't guarantee just how authentic the stories you've heard are the stories I know of are at the very least good at getting the general idea across to the reader." Jenn said with a smile. "Now if you need a bit more convincing just say the word, otherwise feel free to make your wish and I'll do everything within my power to grant it." She said before snapping her finger causing a glass of water to appear in her hand. Jenn drank the water as all this talking after such a long time of remaining mostly silent was leaving her thought rather dry. Once the glass was empty Jenn simply let it drop to the floor but rather than shattering the glass would simply cease to exist.

Zach was still largely incredulous as to whether Jenn was in fact what she claimed, a genie. The stories he’d heard as a kid varied widely from the magic genies that popped out of lamps and such to grant wishes, to the malicious Djinn. Frankly he was hoping she was the former rather then the latter if any at all. Summoning and then dismissing a glass of water did a little more to convince Zach that she at the very least had some form of creative or illusionary powers so it was possible she was telling the truth. Deciding to give her a test with something absurd, Zach quickly rummaged through the possibilities in his mind and then finally replied.
“Ok, saying I do believe you. If I said something ridiculous like ‘I wish I was immortal,’ you could grant that?” the boy asked and leaned up against the wall, folding his arms across his chest. Although after he said it, Zach almost immediately realized that that particular wish would be difficult to test. He was considering changing his mind but though better of it, rather wanting to see just what her response would be.

Jenn smirked at Zach's question, Immortality was s surprisingly rare wish, at least for her it was. Most people were more concerned with riches or or power, a few had requested immortality but they seemed to misconstrue exactly how her version of immortality worked. And considering Zach's chosen means of asking Jenn decided to have a bit of fun and simply grant the wish as all she really needed were the words 'i wish' put before a statment in order to grant something.
"If that is what you wish, then so it shall be" She said with a very noticible smirk as the mist that had been dying down had a sudden resurgance suddenly swirling around Jenn as he eyes began to glwo an eerie purple, the msit would then shoot out wrapping around Zach once the mist had Zach fully consumed Zach would feel a strange warm sensations pread througout his body as Jenn's magic began to effect him.
"aaannnnddd done!" Jenn said as the mist immediately retreated from Zach once again pooling around Jenn as the genie simply remained seated and waited for Zach's reaction. Her version of immortality wasn't exactly what most would expect it to be, many expected immortality to include some level of physical invulnerability but for Jenn it was a simple mixture of the end of the aging process and an immunity to most 'natural' causes of death. “Wait…What?…” was all Zach was able to get out before Jenn’s ring started to bellow out more purple smoke. Strangely Zach couldn’t taste or smell it, as if the smoke weren’t really there, or smoke at all. In any case it wrapped around him alarmingly quickly and started to induce a tingling, almost burning sensation over his entire body.
“Hey hey hey… What’s going on here?” Zach protested and tried in vane to swat the smoke away. It obviously did no good but thankfully evaporated of it’s own accord leaving the boy confused. It took a few moments for Zach’s overloaded mind to compute exactly what had happened, he was still crunching the numbers on the possibility of this girl being what she claimed after all. But the blonde’s brain eventually arrived at the conclusion that she granted his wish, even though he’d not intended such an outlandish request to be granted.
“Are you serious… You… just made me immortal?” he asked, a whole new set of possibilities starting to plague his almost feverish mind. “As in, never going to die… ever?”

If this isn't resumed at a later date (which it should be, I reckon this is quite important);
Zach and Lashnnento both earn 1000. PL
If it is resumed at a later date, I'll add the extra on.
