Time for action

Kami had again gathered his children for one final talk before they would face the inevitable threat. For day's Kami had not been sleeping, his mind clouded by the darkness of what was to come, and now he was certain.

He had made a call for each warrior.

Toshio, Ryota, Nam, Antary, Zach, Nehan, Carmine, Royd.

The time for planning had come and Kami would need to explain what was to come...

[Zach]

Zach had been on his search for the dragon balls for over a week now when he heard Kami’s otherworldly call to return to the Lookout. With as much of the bounty as he’d been able to collect safely stashed in his backpack, Zach flew back to his home in the clouds, soaring up high above their tops into the thin atmosphere. Eventually he spotted the bowl shaped structure on the horizon and continued his ascent towards it. Climbing up over the lip, Zach set down on the edge of the tiled deck and then started to walk towards the only building on the top of the structure.

He wasn’t sure exactly if Kami had called just him or the entire group, but the sound of the message gave Zach the impression it was urgent. That in mind, it was strange that no one was on the top of the lookout to greet him upon his return. Continuing forward the boy stopped about half way to the lookout entrance and spoke up.

“Hello?... Kami?... Nam?...” Zach called out and waited for a response. While he was waiting, the young man slipped the backpack off of his shoulders and lowered it to the polished floor.

(Sorry guys cant wait, just post here that you see and understand what I am posting, no need to roleplay this, not enough time.)

Kami lays out the plan for the defense of Earth.

Zach, Royd, and Nehan will go off together and look for dragon ball's together, Zach as team lead. Royd's technology will be great for locating dragon balls by sensing out the largest power levels and flocking to them.

Toshio will find his student Kotan and Antary, and the three of them will fight with Suki's goons

The galleon will be the first line of defense against Suki, they are easily strong enough to push Suki pretty far.

Kami, and Nam will remain on the lookout, as we obtain dragonballs do not travel with them, bring them up to the Lookout, we NEED to keep them all in one place, and the combo of Kami and Nam will be tough to get past (cuz we iz beast mode)

As they leave Kami speaks, his heart heavy with the grief of their situation.

"Children of Earth. You have been chosen this day to fight in the name of your home, you have been chosen this day to face off against a threat that is greater than any we have every faced before. Today many good men will die fighting for what is right, but together, we will defend our home, we will destroy the creature before us. And I, your Guardian give you this promise, that I will not allow Touketsuki Yakedo get away with using my power, I will stand by you and destroy him side by side with my children, or die trying"

Almost more like a prophecy Kami nods to each of them.

Zach, he had saved him from Suki when he first invaded, and since trained with him, but zach was so strong in will, Kami could hardly keep up. He put a hand on his shoulder and looked into his eyes, nodding to him, and allowing him to take off.

Royd, A truly brilliant man, without him this effort would not be possible, Nodding to him from his wheelchair he allows him to leave.

Ryota and Carmine, a force that could prove deadly, helping the earth for no reason other than their own good will. Kami would nod to them allowing the two to leave.

Toshio, the kind hearted Turtle Hermit. Kami had forced his own hand against Toshio, and knew all to well what the master was capable of. He nodded allowing him to leave, knowing that Toshio and his student would be a hefty challenge for the goons that Suki had lined up.

Antary, such a youthful saiyan. His temper and tenacity would prove difficult to defeat in battle, and Suki's men would learn that first hand. Nodding he watched him fly off.

Finally Nam, Nam was the true prodigy of Kami, he had trained well with Nam, and had blessed him with holy water. Nam would be the one who had Kami's back when the time came to fight on the lookout, for that time would undoubtedly come. Kami knew in his heart that Nam would shine in this battle, and that he would show not only Suki, but the entire world the power he possessed.

In the weeks since his first arrival on the lookout, Royd had assisted in setting up the gravity chamber by bringing down a maintenance robot from the Nightflyer to connect the mechanism to the power generator left behind by Captain Ryota for his use. Once the work had been completed though and unable to function in Earth’s gravity for any usable length of time, Royd had returned to his massive vessel. He’d not been idle though, having spent the time practicing his telepathic talents with the computer and instructing it to resist his efforts. It still wasn’t the same as being in contact with a human mind, but the Nightlyer’s computer had neuro-nodes which allowed it to communicate telepathically. He’d also periodically sent down his hologram simply to converse with Kami but had otherwise not revisited the planet, until now.

As Royd descended on his anti-gravitational disk towards the lookout following Kami’s summons, the black haired man was dressed in his usual black space suit with his cane at his side and computer practically screaming at him to return to the ship over the suit’s radio. He’d had this argument with the over protective mainframe one a few occasions and they were only becoming more frequent and more difficult to convince the machine that he would be safe in the company of the fighters. He’d even taken the precaution of locking the disk’s controls on manual so that the computer couldn’t recall the craft on it’s own. If the computer wanted him back, it could have to come and him.

After landing on the lookout, the man hovelled his way off of the disk with his cane in hand and supporting a great deal of his weight. He joined the others, feeling that his physical presence on the planet was vital and that his hologram simply wouldn’t be enough to help. He was a little surprised to be teamed up with the shirtless young man and the other with the ridiculously wide shoulder guards but did not object. Either one of them should be more then capable of protecting him should they run into danger.

“Kami, although I’m not formally a member of your task force, understand that my ship and services are at your disposal. I am glad to be of service in a capacity that is something other then technical. And I will thank both of this young men in advance for tolerating my condition… And as my ship’s computer is demanding, thank them for their protection.” the telepath stated. “Now, if one of you would be kind enough to carry my craft along with you, I will aid in locating the remainder of these dragon balls. Unfortunately the disk isn’t very fast, hence the need for a tow.”

[Zach]

Zach wasn’t exactly pleased to hear that Kami was pairing him up with the crippled guy and his favored student, but he supposed it could be worse, he could have to be under the other boy’s command. Nodding silently, Zach picked the backpack up off the floor and unzipped it. He walked up to Kami and handed him the bounty within. {Dragon ball from “Giant pile of…” and possibly the ball from “Legends are made” if Zach gets it from Komatsuna.} Zipping the bag back up the teen donned the pack once more and walked back towards the two men in his charge.

“Ok, not a problem… Royd was it? Climb on and work your magic, I’ll carry the thing. You… Er… Shoulders, come on, we don’t have any time to waste.” Zach instructed and headed to the telepath’s craft. Once the man had the disk aloft, Zach floated up under it, took hold of the fairings that held the main gravity lens in place and proceeded to accelerate away from the lookout.

{Zach and Royd are out. Power Level increases requested for both. Heavy weights are in effect for Zach.}

[Antary]

The year long training was finally complete. Antary had only spent a day outside of the Time Chamber, resting after the strain his body was put through, but he couldn`t help but feel like something was going to happen. Something big, something bad. He only felt like that once, before the massive raid that wiped out his tribe and forced him off his homeworld. Out of the things that annoyed him most, on top would probably be being reminded of the planet where he was born. That place just had nothing but constant fight for survival, and in the end, the saiyans lost it. "Tch, I should just forget about it already. I live in a better place now." Although, Earth seemed to be in just as much danger now, due to the recent invasions from Meishi and this Touketsuki person. Who knows, maybe it`ll one day turn into a wasteland, just like his own planet.

Antary cringed at the thought of that. To not have that happen was the reason he even agreed to all of this. At first he swore an oath to fight Touketsuki due to his personal goals, but now that he thinks about it, he really does want to protect the Earth. It is natural to feel these emotions when it comes to your home. He tried to bottle those feelings away as hard as he could, because he thought it made him too soft, but in the Time Chamber he realized that in battle he is as much of a saiyan as any other saiyan. Confusing, maybe.

His daydreaming was interrupted by Kami`s call. Looks like he was right after all, something big really is happening. Antary did not rush to hear what Kami had to say, instead, he took his time. He made his bed, quickly fixed up his ripped combat suit, and only then went to see what the commotion was about. The saiyan probably kept everyone waiting, but he did not care. This very well could be the last days of his life, and nobody wants to die with regrets. Nobody wants to die at all, really. Antary looked over the students that Kami had, most of whom he had never seen before. His eyes stopped at Zach, who seemed familiar, although he could not quite remember.

After hearing Kami`s Earth defense plan, Antary looked disappointed. "Geez, I have to fight lackeys?" He whined, looking at the people that also had the same objective, with a look that almost screamed "You are not very strong", even though his own power was heavily suppressed by the weighted clothing. During his training in the HBTC, however, he found out how to take it off. He was certain he`ll have to do that, but maybe not against simple henchmen? Antary was confident in his ability either way, but not so much about his teammates', who he thought would just end up being a nuisance which he`ll have to help should they get in trouble.

Either way, they had to get going. Looks like the battle was going to start soon, and everyone knew they had to play their roles as well as they could. When Toshio and Kotan set off, Antary did as well. Although due to his weights making him unable to fly, he had to run, but because he could sense energy very well, he had no problems following the others even when running.

It was time to see if the one year long training with Kami and Nam paid off.

(I have a question. I have a lot of space for many moves. Since I’ve supposedly spent a year in the HBTC, can I add a few techniques to my profile even though I didn’t exactly RP learning them? Stuff like Taiyoken or an improvement to some of my abilities? If you want, I’ll write the list of techniques and you accept or deny some or all accordingly?)

A day passed outside of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Nam was still training hard. He was anxious to get stronger for the coming battle; he felt the urge all over his body, fueling his determination. After that year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, the saiyan was much more resilient and his resistance had improved quite a bit. Although, to him, it seemed like his set of mind was what made him capable of so many hours of working out and training. By now his wounds were healed, his ribs brand new. He remembered that weird feeling he got when his body finally healed in its natural course. He felt so empowered.

He was still wearing his weights, his black Gi, his boots –everything. His scabbard was lying by a wall. There was one thing that had changed though. Something everyone might’ve noticed in the following moments when the half-saiyan heard Kami’s call. Nam wiped his face from the sweat with a white towel and exited the gravity room, grabbing his scabbard on the way out. The sunlight shined on his tan and calm face –yet determined. Nam had a burning passion inside of him ever since he left the dimensional room. He had been focusing on one person throughout these days and that was the tyrant, Touketsuki Yakedo.

Nam walked to Kami’s side and nodded, turning to face the others as they arrived. They would notice his now long hair, which reached down the middle of his back. As usual, there was always a strand of brown hair fringed on his face, which now ended around his neck; contrary to before when it was only at his lips. His muscles were bulkier and defined –yet he managed to maintain himself flexible and agile. His uncertain face was now a solid gaze, a man who knew what he wanted. A man who knew what his goals were. His brown eyes almost seemed red with passion and fury, they burned –yet, at the same time, they seemed very soothing and calm; a friendly stare to ally, death to his enemies.

The half-saiyan’s intense feelings only augmented with Tenshu’s speech. As Kami spoke, he relived the long yet short moments he spent in that single day year at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; his struggles, their battles, the techniques he practiced. He could feel the time was near and his chest grew as he did, they were all gathered in the Lookout again and he knew what he must do. He would stand beside his new found master and fight along his side when the time was right. They would await the dragon balls and protect them as Zach, Royd, and Kris ventured out to find them.

Attacks:

Taiyoken – The user puts his hands over his head while hiding in the sun and emanates a strong and blinding light all around. Wearing sunglasses can counter this and closing your eyes beforehand can reduce the damage.

Kamehameha Upgrade 2 – Nam can control where his energy wave goes even after it has been launched by moving his hands in that direction, therefore he can chase his enemies from afar with a powerful attack. He has to stop fueling the wave though and so it will begin to disintegrate and he can no longer enhance the current attack’s power.

Kamehameha Upgrade 3 – Nam can split his energy wave into smaller rays that rain down on his opponent. They do not pierce, they stun.


Lunar Strike – Nam wields his sword and focuses his energy, almost leaking out of his sword and then unleashes a big energy attack with the shape of a crescent moon. The size varies with the amount of power charged into the attack.

Ki no Tsurugi – With or without his sword, Nam can create a long blade of energy that goes through his opponent. It is more powerful and manageable when using his sword. This is sort of like an energy ray, except the attack is constant and it doesn’t really go through his opponent, it doesn’t pierce –it holds in place. Although, it feels as if you have been pierced and to another it may seem like it; this is more of a grappling technique where he can then swing and toss his opponent away.

Energy Shyutou – With or without his sword, like the Ki no Tsurugi, Nam can create an energy sword. The difference lies in length as this one is as long as his own sword. While the Ki no Tsurugi is a long line that goes through his enemies, this one provides the possibility of slicing and attacking like a normal sword, but with enhanced power. When the sword is engulfed by the ki, the energy is so thick it loses its cutting capabilities during the onslaught, but the blade is now very painful and slightly burning with an electric impact. This turns his sword into a kind of blunt weapon.

Sword Disk – Nam flings his sword at his opponent spinning into an energy disk that could pierce anything and then returns like a boomerang.

These all seem acceptable to me, Try to do a training post with a few of them so that we see them in action, even if it is as simple as, you are in the training room under gravity, and attack a dumby using this attack...And then the next...

[Toshio Katsuo]

Toshio's body could be seen coming up over the lookout, his feet making a slight tap sound when his boots touched the tiles of the lookout. He had gotten an urgent call from Kami and Toshio assumed it had something to do with Suki. As Toshio looked around and noticed the rest of the warriors under Kami’s direction were mostly already here. Toshio then listened as the Kami made a speech about protecting Earth and himself not allowing his power over the dragon balls to be taken. As Kami finished laying out the plan of defense, he nodded to each of them, indicating they were good to leave. Toshio smiled and nodded back before flying out with Kotan and Antary. It was going to take all of them a great effort to defend this Earth.
