(This thread is for anyone participating in the plot who needs to arrive on the lookout, When zach drops off dragonballs, when Suki wants to fight (if he can find it) and when someone needs healing)
The cross legged Namekian had been still for several hours now. His meditation had manipulated his mind, he knew that the situation the Earth was in was far beyond his current power, and that in reality there was no way that he could stop this force on his own.
Nam was nearing the achievement known as Super Saiyan, and Suki was nearing his possession of the Dragon balls. While Nam may not have been aware of his inner power, Kami knew all to well, he had felt it within Nam for some time, and now would be his chance to show it.
His thoughts were clear, and yet jumbled all at the same time, death is a hard concept to cope with, even for the sage guardian. And so the forces of evil that stood at his doorstep only brough a greater fear into the Kami's heart. Not for himself, but for the children of earth. He could feel the fighting below them.
Jorlaxl was a Bio-Android who once called earth his home, in a search for power he found himself in the league of a most dangerous evil, and has since sworn loyalty to it. The once confused and innocent Bio was now a killing machine, capable of going toe to toe with any of earths great warriors.
Caius, the confused Makaioshin. When he first originated on earth, Kami knew nothing good would come of it, but against his better judgement he allowed the Makaio to roam so long as he did not cause a disturbance, and now he was here, and beyond Kami's ability to simply stop.
But those were not the powers Kami was more deeply concerned about. Being able to sense a person's inner Ki is a special ability honed by the guardian, and that said, he could feel into Touketsuki's very being...
almost....one....million
The Kami shuddered, Suki was a monster, and nobody was even close to matching his power level....No one that is...except for...Nam.
Kami's sole job at this point was to make sure the dragon balls were kept from suki's diabolical hand, and to help Nam to defeat the Icer, as he was the only one who could.
Visibly shaken, it would be obvious to those with him on the lookout (IE Nam) that Kami was worried, and thus conversation would likely ensue.

“Hnnnngh…” Nam slowly opened his eyes as he began to regain consciousness. His eyes blurred for a moment as he gazed above the floor with his body resting flat on his chest and his long brown hair spread across. His vision cleared and revealed the white room he had been training in for long hours. The polished floor was tainted with blood and his clothes as-well. Nam winced as he began to feel the sharp pain gradually as he became completely awoken from his slumber.
He lay there on the floor, passing through all the current events that brought him to his situation and renewing the ideas he and his team mates shared. Nam thought about using his senzu bean, but decided that it would be better to refrain from consuming it until it was absolutely necessary. Right now, they weren’t facing immediate danger, so Nam thought Kami could just heal him. With the idea in mind, he began to bring himself up from the floor.
Nam pressed his hands on the floor and began to push against it, bringing his upper body up and his feet supporting him from behind. His body shook as he did, but he still had the strength to get himself up. Nam slid his right leg forward, his foot arched at the ground and then pushed, finally standing on his feet. He almost lost balance and fell back down on the floor, but he bent his knees and spread his arms, regaining his balance. His shoulders ached from the heavy undershirt beneath his Gi that pressed down on them and every step was slow, lame, and heavy. It felt like the half-saiyan was wearing magnetic boots in a metal-floored room.
The half-blooded saiyan walked towards the door and snatched his scabbard on the way there, dragging it across the floor. He felt too tired to bother placing it properly on his back, and he would probably have to remove it once he reached Kami since getting healed wasn’t exactly an instant process like the senzu bean; not to mention, the extra weight of the scabbard and the metallic sword within it would collapse the weakened saiyan to the ground. In the moment, the half-saiyan’s power was perhaps 1% its full potential.
“Kami…” he said, with almost no strength in his voice to speak as he lamely walked towards the green man sitting with his legs crossed. Right now, all Nam could think about was the pain he was enduring and getting healed, probably to go back and train. He wanted to get all the training he could between the moment of peace they had now and the upcoming battle for the planet. By the time Tenshu would turn to see his bruised pupil in such a terrible shape, Nam would have been several feet away. His clothes were ripped with little holes all around, due to him testing out a new technique. Where those holes were, revealed his midly scorched tan skin and his face was practically disfigured from the various strikes to the ground from falling on his face –at least, Nam thought his face would look disfigured but it was just in a really bad state as he bled from below his eyes, from his nose and the gums on his mouth.
Nam wasn’t bleeding anymore, but the blood had dried on his face and clothes –maybe even hair with tiny droplets of blood at the tip.

Kami quickly snapped out of his mesmerizing trans. Nam had injured himself in training and needed assistance once more, this had been a pattern for the last several days as Nam took his training seriously. Kami could do nothing more than watch. Nam was far above his own ability, and Kami was to old for such physical fighting. The old sage's meditation and Ki concentration would be his only advantage in the fights to come, and so training physically would be pointless.
"Dear boy, you ought to stop now, it will be a matter of time now before you are called to fight, and when that comes they need both of us to be in the best shape"
He said holding out his arms to the young man, and watching as the green ki irradiated the distance between them, and finally began to seal wounds and close cuts. Such minor injuries were well within the Kami's abilities, and so he would have no qualms with healing Nam, but he urged the fighter once more to take a rest.
"Nam, sit with me, listen to an old sage"
Kami had not said it, but what he really wanted was someone to pass his knowledge down to, or to simply have a conversation with. All of the fighting, and death had begun to wear on the Kami's strength, and he knew that his time was ending. And so his final words would be heard by Nam, and hopefully passed down through generations.

Nam sat down on the white floor with his legs crossed overlapping the each other. The green energy imitating from Tenshu was a warm and calm one. The half-saiyan’s entire body felt a tingling sensation as the self-inflicted wounds and bruises healed, but the holes and tears on his clothes remained intact. Nam closed his eyes and rested his hands over his lap, listening to Kami and focusing on healing so he could continue to the next training session; although, the green man urged him to stop.
“Don’t worry, Kami. I already thought it through.” He opened his brown eyes and looked at the other in the eyes. He reached into his pocket and took out a small green bean about one third of his finger.
“I have a senzu bean... If the time comes, I’ll just eat this and everything will be fine.” He explained, “after-all, it’s useless in battle for I’ll be just as weak as before. –It’s better to use it now where I can train continually.”
Nam stored the senzu bean back in his pocket and returned to his previous position; eyes closed and hands resting over his crossed legs. His scabbard had been laying in front of him at its side, with the pommel of his sword sticking out to his right.
“What is it you have in mind? You seem worried…” he said, his eyes still closed.

Kami listened to the young warrior explain his plan for continued training, and couldnt help but shake his head. Nam's senzu bean was far more valuable than he realized and could easily be the marker between life and death in a fight with suki and his men.
But none the less he could not stop the fighter from frivolously using his tools, only warn him against it and hope for the best. Kami spoke.
"Save that bean Nam, it will save your life if you let it... Nam, I want to pass on my history, I want my life to be known by someone other than myself, although it is not one I am particularly proud of, I believe now is the time for all barriers to come down, and allow my past to resurface."
As Kami spoke his stomach churned with displeasure. He knew that soon his dark past would be at his doorstep, and he would have to once again re live the horror that was Tenshu.
"Nam, you once called me Tenshu, do you know where that name came from?"
He asked, finally addressing the elephant in the room that was his own name. He had on many occasions asked not to be called anything other than Kami, but now that his life was coming to a close, he felt as though he needed to be called by his true name.

Nam opened his eyes, confused by what Kami had been saying. He wasn’t making any sense to the half-blooded saiyan, he spoke as if his life was nearing its end.
“Tenshu… is the name your parents gave you is it not? Where else would it come from?” Nam said. After saying this, his mind immediately turned to the Japanese term ‘Tenshi’ meaning Angel. He wondered if Kami referred to that, but he doubted it.
The saiyan stood there quietly, waiting for the green man to explain himself. He didn’t like how he allowed his mind to make so many pointless conclusions that were probably very far from the truth. What did angels have to do with namekians?
Nam was still sitting calmly in the same position he had been with his torn up clothes. The wind slightly mad his long brown hair flutter, which reached the floor. And that single stand, always fringed on his tan face, danced ever so elegantly; it now ended at about his neck line. His brown eyes ignored the piece of hair and focused a curious gaze on the man confessing himself. He couldn’t feel any pain, his wounds were probably healed by now, but he didn’t check himself.

"Well, parent. You see Namekians have but one gender, and produce by egg. And when I was born, my father was given a revelation that I might one day be the cross between the greater good, and the greater evil"
Kami had never told another being the story, and since having left Namek he was never forced to think about it, but the truth had to come out no matter how much it pained him.
"On the planet Namek there is a great Guru, similar to myself, and he too saw this vision, and so I was trained from a young age to become a fighter, and given the name Tenshu, Or as my language calls it, the guardian angel or keeper of angels"
Surprisingly Japanese and Namekian were similar in this way, as Tenshu was in Japanese a dual word for both angel, and keeper. Tenshu's name was his fathers way of encouraging the light within him, and allowing him to be the light for his people...Tenshu went on to tell Nam the story of his life up until the Guru Guardians came to abduct him (IE read the first two 'Before he was Kami' for detailed story).
"When I finally joined the GG, they gave me a new name to match my position, they called me Geurin, which in Namekian tongue means Guardian."
Kami shuddered as he spoke the name Geurin, it was clearly a lot for him to handle, even thinking about the cursed name. Such a terrible time in his life had been amplified in his very nightmares. Geurin was the deepest part of Kami's hate, and darkness. Geurin was the darkest of evil.

Nam was surprised by the translation of Kami’s name. It was truly what his mind had thought, although he didn’t want to entertain those thoughts. If Nam were more expressive his eyes would’ve probably widened or he would’ve let out a gasp. But the half-saiyan sat there quietly as he did since he arrived.
He remained silent and intently listened to Tenshu’s story of his past; how this namekian organization called the ‘Guru Guardians’ kidnapped him. It was a long tale, but Nam endured it through and through while contemplating why Kami chose him to tell this to. Perhaps, because he was the only one around at the moment; he could understand Tenshu wanting others to know of him though –but why now? And why Nam?
The half-saiyan was grow anxious with every minute. They could have this conversation anytime they wanted after they have defeated Touketsuki. Nam wanted to train and become stronger, but he wouldn’t say it. He didn’t even think it, so Kami wouldn’t read his mind. It was more of an emotion than a thought, which was also hidden behind his poker face. After all, emotions are the first means of communication one learns. Babies are born without any knowledge of language, but it doesn’t mean they don’t think. They do think, and it wasn’t through some baby language. It was emotion. It was the means of communication for every living thing out there. But for those who learn a language, their emotional thoughts turn into words. Nam however, hasn’t lost that ability. He is able to think without actually thinking, which would probably negate any attempts to read his mind as he is not really thinking anything at all.
From his perception, his mind literally felt empty, as if he didn’t have a brain under that skull –just air. It was the thoughtlessness of his mind, the wordless ideas. He assumed that if someone were to try to read his mind, they’d have the same feeling he does. It’s a weird experience –to be able to think without actually thinking.

Kami continued speaking, seeing that Nam was paying attention, he needed to be certain of that as he would be the only one able to pass down the story once he was gone.
Kami spoke once more
"Power is a dangerous, As Guerin I learned many...many things, things that went against my very nature. I learned to kill, and fight. I was developed the Bikkuri Sho, and to make matters worse I abandoned my own moral practice. I was no longer the Angel, but rather the Geurin, which Ironically means Guardian..."
Kami then explained the story (Before he was Kami) of his time in the GG, his destruction of the group, and the eventual separation of himself from Geurin.
"And so We seperated, the massive power that was once harnessed between us amounted to more than 2 million in power level...we were the ultimate fighter..."
Kami stopped himself once again and shuddered, even so much as to stand and begin walking towards the edge of the lookout, allowing the cool breeze to help his nausea, being reminded of such power was sickening, he had separated himself from Geurin because the overwhelming strength had been to much for a mere mortal to handle.
"When we seperated I thought to have killed him, but more recentely...I have....felt his presence...Nam I have felt Geurin, Its as if I can see his thoughts, or through his eyes... And worse yet, when I see Geurin...I see suki as well....Somehow they are connected...and If Geurin is indeed alive Nam...Then I will not hesitate to destroy myself in the process of ending his life!"
Knowing that this idea would likely confuse name he went on to explain Namekian Custom.
"Im not sure how nam, but when I killed Geurin those many years ago, I didnt die with him. The way Namekian split form works, is that the two bodies are still one in the same, we share thoughts and feelings, and should one of us die, the other will certainly perish. So when I finished Geurin, I couldnt understand why I did not die in the process...But it appears I had made a mistake"

Bikkuri Sho? Nam thought. It was an ability he had never heard about and it caught his attention. Kami had never demonstrated such an attack. But the interest was quickly swayed away with bigger ones, -like the power Tenshu says to have possessed in the past.
Two million!? he thought. The half-saiyan never thought of power level’s as numbers, but hearing Kami say this shocked him indeed. His eyes widened this time, but slightly. Nam tried to imagine what it would be like to have a power level of two million, but all he could think of was Touketsuki Yakedo; because Touketsuki is the strongest force he has felt so far. Nam refused to believe that’s what he was standing up against, Kami must have been unbelievably powerful… He could’ve taken out Touketsuki with a blind fold… he thought.
Nam felt a little lost with the next information he was being passed down. Apparently, namekians had the racial ability to separate into two beings –which are essentially one; if one dies so does the other. From what Tenshu was telling him, Gurin was still alive and apparently joined forces with Touketsuki. Nam couldn’t believe how much harder and difficult the situation had become by just knowing this. He wasn’t just going to battle Touketsuki Yakedo and his goons; he was going to battle Kami –the other half. Killing this Gurin would end with Tenshu as well, and the green man seemed ready to throw his life away without a second thought. Nam couldn’t allow this to happen.
“That’s stupid…” he said as calm as ever. His heart raced, but he just couldn't bring himself to get overexcited about it no matter how much he wanted. If he did, he’d feel weird and like a drama-queen. Nam knew that panicking solves nothing; it just clouds the mind, so he had no excuse to act like one.
The half-saiyan looks directly at the green man's eyes with intense focus. “Tenshu, why don’t you just reunite with Gurin? We all have two sides –no matter how evil or good you are. I’m sure the good side of you will prevail.” Nam had other alternatives in mind, but he couldn’t bring himself to suggest such a thing. They could’ve locked the evil Kami into some kind of cell, but Nam believed nobody deserved such a fate; being locked up for your entire life, without even being able to die –just for the sake of another, even if that person is Kami or a loved one. Nam wouldn’t wish such a fate to anyone.
No, the only choice here was to reunite the two halves into a complete being once again. Suicide doesn’t make people a hero, a hero is someone who saves the world –and survives.

Reunite!?
The idea had not even graced Kami's thought, and now the very idea caused him great anger.
"No!" He yelled loudly, still looking off into the vast land from the side of his lookout. Reuniting the two warriors would certainly bring about a warrior stronger than Suki, but the last time the two were together terrible things happened, the genocide of his people, and worse yet, the lost of Tenshu's soul. Geurin was the darkest evil Tenshu had ever encountered, and if he was truly still alive, he would never consider becoming one with Tenshu once more, or perhaps the opposite, he would force a fusion in order to strengthen himself...
"You dont understand Nam, Geurin is, or rather was, stronger than suki, much stronger... when zach and suki fought, the highest level of power Suki brought out was roughly 200,000 and there is more where that came from. No, fusing with Geurin would only create a greater problem, one that not even you could handle"
It was then that Tenshu had unintentionally revealed something to Nam, he had said that not even Nam could handle Gurin meaning...He thought Nam could handle Suki...
The thought left his lips and escaped into the air, certainly to be caught by the young saiyan. Yes Nam was indeed capable of defeating Suki if they played their cards right...but...Geurin.
"If I fuse with Geurin, the man you know now, the guardian of earth and the dragon balls, will be gone. And in his place a power hungry monster will have risen, and I cannot allow that to happen."
Kami formed a fist and looked over to the dragon balls that Zach had already brought them, they were sitting on a pedestal covered in a small blanket, Suddenly Kami knew why Suki had made it here so soon, he understood everything. In an effort to bring earth a fighting chance against the evil being, he had unintentionally signaled him. Geurin being alive and with Suki, meant that he could feel the dragons presence....Geurin was after the dragon balls, it could be the only true answer.

The young saiyan flinched with the green man’s abrupt answer. Why does he refuse to strongly? he thought. Nam remained calm, his heart still racing, he waited for Tenshu to explain himself. His eyes were fixed on the namekian, full of wonder and curiousity. Kami began to explain how fierce Gurin’s power was, which confirmed Nam’s initial idea. But he also, blurted out the fact that he believed that Nam could handle Touketsuki Yakedo. Nam tried not to blush to the statement, but it definitely made him more confident in his ability to defeat the tyrant. Regardless, his logical mind kept telling him it was nothing more than pure faith. Nam could sense the power Touketsuki possessed, his own power doesn’t compare to it. Nam didn’t know whether he could believe his eyes, but apparently Kami could see further than he could.
After a short moment of silence between the too, Nam began to speak once more –ignoring what Kami said, acting as if he hadn’t noticed.
“Kami…” he began. “We’re talking about two completely different beings, -different, yet the same, right? You’re pure good while Gurin is pure evil. How could both halves create something worse? By fusing with Gurin you’d become a normal being, like Zach, Antary, me… I don’t know a lot about you namekians, but to me it seems logical; your evil and good side would merge into a balance. I’m not a holy being. I’m sure there’s evil somewhere inside of me –yet I choose peace, when there are so many reasons for me to just give in and turn on the world… Plus, you’re different now! You’ve probably changed a lot since then, you’ve grown and learned so many things; it’ll be different this time –now that you know what you know.” Nam gave the green man time to absorb everything he had been telling him. The saiyan knew he wasn’t as wise as he, but he did know that this was not the way.
Kami looked back and Nam did the same out of instinct. Behind them were the dragon balls that had been collected as of now. They were on a pedestal, just like before when Kami first summoned the dragon. Nam had already concluded that those were the reasons why Touketsuki Yakedo had come so soon to earth, and he assumed that was the reason why Tenshu had begun all these operations –the reason why Zach was searching for the others. What any of them were planning to wish for was beyond him though; both Touketsuki and Tenshu, Nam had no idea.
“Why are we collecting the dragon balls? We already tried killing Touketsuki with it and they rejected that wish. We already got the equipment necessary to train ourselves and prepare for him. Or… are you gathering them just to protect them?”

Kami Nodded, Nam had once again hit the nail on the head. They were not collecting the dragon balls for their own gain, but rather keeping them from those who would seek to use them for evil intentions. Touketsuki was a scary being, however now the thought of Geurin being there was almost to much."Nam power is not as simple as a math equation, there are no absolutes, some are capable of controlling themselves and using their power for good, and yet others....are consumed by it... Nam I am not proud of my past, no matter how strong I become I must never again fuse with Geurin, for if we do I know it will only lead to further corruption. Nam you are a truly gifted young man, but even you are susceptible to corruption of power, everyone is. Once the temptation becomes to great, there are few who can reserve themselves, and your race leads you to more aggressive behavior. Consider this, I am supposedly the most loving creature on the planet, and even I can be corrupted by power."
Kami knew his strength now, it was roughly the same as it had been when he parted ways with Geurin, this meant that if the two were to fuse right now, they would become the exact same fighter they had once been, and would once again consider themselves a super Namek, even to the pure hearted Kami the urge for power tugged at his heart, but his mind was strong with age and fought the temptation.
"Nam be careful, even the best of us can be swayed."
It still hurt the Kami to admit it, but the fact was that one day each of the fighters he trained would face a decision between good and evil, and he was not confident that any of them would make the absolute decision.

Nam was silenced. He didn’t know what else he could possibly say that might convince Tenshu –not if this was the way he viewed things. The half-saiyan wasn’t convinced though. Nam couldn’t imagine himself corrupted with power; it made no sense to him. He looked steadily at the ground, trying to come up with something that could help Kami see the world through Nam’s eyes, but he couldn’t find the words. Maybe he didn’t need to find the words; sometimes, there is nothing you can say. Whether or not someone changes for the worst or the better, it is up to them and life.
Nam gazed at the pedestal, which contained the dragon balls. He instantly noticed they were doing something wrong.
“Kami… we’re not protecting the dragon balls by gathering them here, we’re simply collecting them for Touketsuki.” The saiyan looked back at the green man with the same calm expression. “For us to truly protect them, we need to scatter –each with a single ball.” Nam was confident in his analysis, it was all too logical for him. Someone with such power, someone like Touketsuki, could easily come and take all seven dragon balls in an instant. But then, another idea came to Nam’s mind.
“Of course… we could also use them and they’d be safe for an extra year… We could wish for Gurin to become good –if that’s possible…” he said. “I still think it’s unnecessary, but since you can’t believe in yourself –it’s our best shot. Just know that I believe in you…”

Nam was too smart to be fooled, it was obvious that gathering the balls was a poor plan initially and that realistically that left them more open for Suki to catch. But Nam's second thought was exactly what Kami had in mind. "You have stumbled on my plan Nam. While the others are out searching for these dragon balls, we will keep them in one place, so that as soon as we have collected them all, we can make a wish, and the dragon balls will no longer be available to Touketsuki. The back up plan is one far more vicious, and one that I would like to avoid but am prepared to do should the need arise. I will die before I allow Touketsuki to abuse my power."
There it was, the final realization. That without the Kami, the dragon would disappear. That his life, the dragons life, and Geurin's life were all connected and all one being. Should Kami's life be taken, the dragon would be no more and the dragonballs would be removed from play as well.
This was something that to their advantage suki did not yet know, and with any luck he would not find out until it was to late.
"We cannot change a person's soul, Geurin's evil cannot be replaced by good, that is beyond my power, in addition I am unable to make wishes for myself, and as you know Geurin is a part of me. "
