Father...

He never met...his...father...

Tenshu's mind began to race as visions of that fateful day drew into his mind, a dark past brought back to life. Geurin and his destruction. And yet here he stood, but not himself, a new man, a better man. This Gurin fellow was honest, and loyal. His integrity knew no bounds. He was truly a man of honor and valor. He was not following Suki, he was following family, he was loyal to the late lord Yakedo, whom Tenshu could only assume was a decent man. Touketsuki being the bastard he was, Tenshu had never had trouble with Icers before, so Suki's father must have been a peaceful ruler. What a tragic turn of events, this poor Namekian was not the evil Kami had come to expect, he was simply a pawn for the Yakedo family to extort and use, just like every other creature Touketsuki comes in contact with. Just as he had the earth, and the other planets of the universe. He uses them until they are no good to him, and then releases them into hell.

But Gurin was...

BOOM

The beam struck the tiles behind them sending shrapnel everywhere, Tenshu had finally come to understand what had happened. Gurin was a part of Kami, but not the evil and darkness that he had destroyed. Gurin was the offspring of Geurin. It was the only logical option. Similar name, Identical blood and face. But there was no time to explain, time was running out for Toshio Katsuo who was giving it his all to fight the monster, who appeared to be winning. However it was hard to tell, their speed was unbelievable, the instant transmission that Kami had only just recently learned was being used by both sides. Kami having learned this a few weeks ago was able to follow the fight only slightly, unable to tell who was hit and where.


Kami turned over to Gurin, he knew that Toshio could not hold on much longer and that what he had to say, had to get said immediately.

"Gurin, I understand your loyalty to this creature, but you must understand that Suki is not his father, Suki is a much darker force than you realize, and if you do not aid us, he could very well destroy everything we hold dear. You know the power of the dragon balls, you know what he can do with them!"

Kami yelled over the top of the wind that had kicked up due to the explosions and transmissions. As the fighters moved intensely through the air, it became apparent that the combat was ending soon, he only hoped his words would be enough for Gurin.

As the fighting intensified Gurin found himself torn, the words of this new, and oddly similar Namekian rang true. Touketsuki was not his father, or anything like his father for that matter. But that didnt change his code, that did not change his honor.

Gurin chose not to respond, he simply turned his head to avoid eye contact with the elder Namek. He couldnt bare the site of him. His purity was sickening to say the least. Not that Gurin found it unfavorable, but rather that he knew it to be true, and therefor was making a conscious effort to do the opposite.

For the first time in his life Gurin was making a moral decision that he did not simply put back on his past or his family lineage. He knew that Suki was evil, and that what he was capable was seemingly insurmountable. and that would become even more true should the dragon grant him a wish of power.

But what could he do. Even now Gurin was physically the weakest on the lookout. He could possible fight with the one known as Toshio, but even that seemed to be out of his favor. What did this old Namekian expect of the bastard Gurin.

[Toshio Katsuo]

The amazing high-speed battle between the two combatants dazzled the sky and lookout with many sounds of flesh hitting against flesh. Each warrior landed strikes and blocked others, their clothes and equipment riddled with many tears and bloodstains from both of the fighters. Their instant transmission fight was one for the ages, however it had to come to an end soon. Toshio took the massive hit from Suki’s tail to his chest, sending him out of the pocket dimension and across the tiled floor of the lookout. When he finally managed to stop himself, he fell to one knee and coughed up some blood before having his bruised face look up at Suki in the sky, the icer also having stopped using Instant Transmission for the time being.

Toshio smiled as he wiped the blood from his face and stood up off his knee. He knew that the tyrant must have loved their little battle just now, however Toshio was not finished. Toshio stared at the icer tyrant before opening his mouth to speak.

”It’s a shame to see such a prized and powerful warrior such as yourself succumb to evil and hatred. If only you knew the power you could have if you walked down a different path. Heh...you think these dragonballs can grant you power? The power they would grant you is nothing to compared to the power I speak of. Of course, you wouldn’t be able to handle it anyhow. It’s a pity really. You’re just wasting you time searching after something that can only grant you so much…It’s actually...laughable.”

Toshio started to chuckle and then started to full fledge laugh. His laugh didn’t last long before he coughed up a little more blood. My energy is near depletion...Now’s the time…now’s the time Toshio dug into his clothing and pulled out a senzu bean, his last senzu bean. Plopping it into his mouth, he chewed on it and then swallowed. He immediately felt his strength return to full and he looked at the evil icer once more, waiting a few seconds before speaking again.

”Are you ready for Round 2 Gummy Bear? Or do you want to accept defeat now and leave this planet. We promise we’ll let you leave in peace. If not, then I feel sad for you because this is the last opportunity you will have to leave here alive. I suggest you take it."

Toshio spoke with seriousness in his voice. He firmly believed that Nam could over power the evil tyrant, with or without the power of the dragonballs. Toshio was no fool; he would not have given Nam one of his senzu beans if he did not believe. If Toshio was to see that day come, where the evil icer no longer plagued the Earth with his presence didn’t matter. As long as it would happen, Toshio would see that it did. He would fight for that until his very last breath.

OOC:Sorry, I god-modded your character a bit suki. If you want me to change it just tell me.

Kami's attention turned to Toshio as he plummeted to the hard lookout ground below. The crash caused him to flinch, knowing the pain that would have caused. Toshio had done all that he could and then some. But it was what happened next that left Kami for a loss.

Kami felt it then, it was within his very soul and within his heart. It was time, and if he allowed Toshio to continue any further than his life would be thrown away as nothing more than a rag doll. He had done his job as a distraction, he had kept suki busy while tenshu sorted out his personal business, but it was time to initiate the plan Kami had put into place, it was time for him to do what had to be done and to do so Toshio would need to be safe.

Using his telepathy Kami would speak to the brave young man.

~Toshio-Senpai, you have done all that you can, please leave now. I know in your heart you want to stay, but you have so much more to offer us if you can help nam in finding the dragonballs, I fear he has found himself in a bit of a snare. Bring him Royd's Dragon ball, and protect him just as you have done here!~

Kami knew he could depend on Toshio to do what was right, he certainly needed him to, otherwise this trap they had set simply wouldnt work.

Before the tyrant could even respond, Toshio heard the voice of Kami in his head telling him to back down and help Nam gather the dragonballs because he felt that Nam had been caught in some sort of a predicament. Toshio smiled and let his Kaioken fade away. It was true he wanted to stay. He wanted to continue his fight with the powerful Tyrant to show he could stand with the best of them. But if Kami felt he would be best suited elsewhere…he was not going to argue. Smiling he looked up at Suki once more before speaking.

”My time here is up….I am needed…elsewhere….I hated that I didn’t get to show or tell you about that great power. But maybe I won’t have too..Maybe you’ll figure it out for yourself one day…Maybe you’ll realize that for what you fight for…isn’t worth fighting for. Maybe you’ll realize theirs something better…you have people who follow you Suki, but if you continue your assault and you continue to battle without the slightest remorse…those people will leave you. Sooner rather than later…Touketsuki Yakedo I hope that the next time I battle you, you will have changed your ways. I look forward to that day. I look forward to seeing you change Mr.Yakedo.”

Toshio then walked over to where Kami stood and put a hand on his shoulder before speaking yet again.

”Be careful my friend. I hope that I get to see you again and we can laugh back at this as past memories. Stay alive Kami, this world cannot afford to lose such a gracious man such as yourself. Good Luck.”

He then looked at the hologram of Royd and nodded his head. He smiled once more at kami before vanishing.

The man almost instantly healed himself, it was either through the efforts of a Ki related attack, or perhaps he was using similar technology to what Suki used on a regular basis. The Senzu Bean.

Regardless Suki was ready for round two. Honestly while the IT battle had been exhausting, Suki had not used up nearly as much energy as Toshio simply on the fact that Toshio's attack was the Kaioken. Suki had encountered many attacks similar to the Kaioken, undoubtedly it was an interesting attack and one that granted the user incredible strength, but it drained as much as it used, this was obvious.

Then he spoke, using the same empty rhetoric he had previously, and what the hell was a gummy bear?

It was time to end the talking and conversation, Suki was about to begin his retort when Toshio spoke again, this time repealing his former comment, and preparing to leave. He even did so much as to speak to the Namekian before leaving, as if he had a sudden change of heart.

"Wait you can't...No!"

Suki said, angered by the sudden loss of his opponent, he wasnt allowed to leave, Suki was fighting here both for himself, but also to remove any known threats, and Toshio Katsuo had proven a threat to both his team, and even to suki in base form. Him leaving alive was unacceptable.

Raising a finger, Suki shot out a beam of red light, it was his death beam once more, this one aimed at the young man's throat, however as fate would have it, Toshio Katsuo vanished using the Instant Transmission, leaving Suki's beam to fly into a nearby pillar, causing it to explode.

"Dammit"

He yelled again infuriated by the warriors exit. He was supposed to be dead.

No matter, he would have his dragon ball, without a doubt, and when he did nobody would stand in his way. And so he turned to the Kami, the one who had been orchestrating this defense all along.

"Well, it appears your friend has left you, so if you dont mind I think its time you handed over your dragon balls, unless of course you are prepared to die, I dont plan on wasting anymore time!"
