Relaxation in a Sunflower Patch (Maruca)

Maruca watched him break down the ki blast with his hands before he flew at her. She saw the first sweeping kick aimed at her left side and ducked forwards to crouch under the attack. Then she summoned up her inner ki and forced the seeds she'd thrown out earlier to sprout and grow into tall vines. These vines headed towards Akira as a means to restrain or slow him down. Her objective being to go easy on him for now considering she had no idea what he could do either to her.

Dang it..., he thought as he missed his attack, well at least she was lower to the ground. He smirked as he back-flipped to put some distance between he and the plant queen, dodging the vines as he did, but saw them redirect their growth in his direction. Great.. . homing plants, but plants can burn cant they? He smirked when he found the idea and sprinted toward the queen, jumping high, dodging the plants once more, gaining sight of the vine's roots.

Step two of his master plan was underway as he placed his hands together, forming a bright yellow ball of energy and sending a small beam toward the bottom of the vine burning it down to its roots. Afterward he flipped himself as he fell through the air to build momentum and strength for the kick he prepared for the queen, aimed downward at her head. At her power it should stun rather than injure, but a stun would give him the opportunity to land several more key blows.

Maruca kept her back to the ground as he back flipped out the way of her plants. The vines she'd created seemed to stall him quite well, which was a good thing. She straightened up to her full height again when he sprinted towards her and jumped over his head. She flicked her fingers at this point trying to get the plants to follow him, but then a bright yellow beam shot out towards the plants and burned them completely. He was out of her sight at this point until she sensed him for a split second as he came down on her with a powerful kick.

The heel of his foot kicked with her head, but all she felt was a small bit of pain before she hit the ground on all fours. Her face touched the dirt and she thought, "He's cocky, he burnt my planet's plant seeds, and he made me touch the ground covered with plants I've yet to know. He's going to pay." she clenched her fist and dropped a single seed from her hand onto the ground.

She didn't know where he was now, but she assumed he was probably above or behind her by now, "You're a mean boy to attack me so severely and quickly when I've only been doing my best to go easy on you. Do you think a kick to the head can stop me even in a simple sparring matching?" She then put the palm of her hand on the ground, pushed her ki through it, and allowed a sprout to slowly grow up beneath her.

His maneuver was as successful as his attack was. After his attack landed he flipped over her and landed with his back toward hers. He took a breather there, and then turned around to see her on all fours, mumbling about something. Considering the situation of the spar he assumed it was about his attack and why he chose her head for the target. It was simple. At the position she held at the time it was the only reasonable place to strike. As for the burning of the plants.. how could he fight if he was tangled in a bunch weeds.

"You're a mean boy to attack me so severely and quickly when I've only been doing my best to go easy on you. Do you think a kick to the head can stop me even in a simple sparring matching?"

"Mean? Fighting is a game to some, but it is a deadly game. It's a game that you could lose and never get a chance to play again. But its nice to know you were holding back, because I was too." He said as he searched with in his heart and unlocking the light within himself and let it fill every cell of his body, increasing his strength and power three-fold which would almost even his power with the queen's. His light blue aura illuminated the area, and his eyes seemed to glow with a dim blue light. He waited for her to stand because he knew it was wrong to fight someone if they were knocked down. "Don't hold back Ma'm", he said encouraging her to keep going.

Maruca stood and looked at him brushing some grass out of her brown hair and into the rose petal color around her neck. She gazed into his dim blue eyes and noted the blue aura around his body. She could feel his power increasing to a point it was just under hers. She clenched her fists and said, "I see what you mean by this being a deadly game. You were holding back and can almost really hurt me with that kind of power." She bared her teeth slightly at him trying not to be angry. He was a good boy, but still too confident in her opinion to put up much of a fight. But now the power increase worried her.

"Do all Tenshi have this kind of power? Because if they do I can see why they or any other race might be more than willing to maybe conquer my planet. That is if you've ever heard of Amazonica. Not saying you'd want a jungle planet like mine, but the kind of power you're exerting now makes you look a lot less like a hot shot." She quickly stated before allowing a seedpod to grow on her hand. The pod bloomed and created a red rose within the palm of her hand which she held up in front of him.

"Accept this gift and maybe we can end our sparring match here. I'd rather not fight someone who could catch me off guard so easily. My race is weak and not worth much mention in the galaxies around this planet Earth. I think we have a sister or brother race called the Niwaans on the planet Niwa who might be more suitable to you than us Florians for combat experience, at least I've heard they're stronger than us. I know I pretty much started this training session, but as I've come to find I'm still a weakling." She stated.

[I'm not sure when Akira Haru is coming back, but I feel like ending this plot here. If Akira Haru does come back I intend to delete this post and continue from where this starts back up from. If he does not then I would like some power level please for my character, and he can request what he wants too.]
