“My lord. What do we do now? Do we follow those creatures, the red one and the one known as Sohko?”
“Yes we follow them. I have sworn to protect Sohko. It would also appear as if the red one, called Kazama is going with us as well.”
Drexx shrugged, he had so far found no love for the Red Majin. Though the red majin also appeared to be a protector, so Drexx figured he would give him a chance. He knew he was stuck with the whole gang for as long as Sohko was his to protect. And that would last until the day either he died or could no longer protect him. He turned back to Anubis X.
“As for the creatures on this planet, they are called Saiyans. Kazama is a Majin.”
Drexx began flying towards the city. Anubis X loyally flew after him, his eyes searching everywhere. Looking for trouble, but at the same time taking in all of the new sights, his ears perking up at every new sound.
They arrived quickly at the Whacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Men and Spaceship Emporium and Warehouse. Sohko was there waiting for them in a junky looking ship and two droids, as well as a tiny furry looking creature. Drexx’s eyes scanned the ship, and then looked very harshly at the salesman.
“That ship will only last one more flight.”
The salesman looked panicked and took a step back.
“You’re… you’re not going to hurt me are you?” He looked around for any sign of help, finding none, became very interested in his shoes.
“I have no interest in hurting you. I also however have no interest in dying today.”
“Uh…” The salesman turned tale and ran.
Should I go after him, my lord?
Drexx just chuckled and walked up the ramp to the ship. Sohko was excitedly pressing buttons and saying the word “roger” over and over again. Drexx didn’t have the heart to tell him he was in the communications seat. He slid into the pilot’s seat. A wire snaked its way out of his wrist and into a port on the console. Within seconds he had integrated himself into the computer. The wire slid back into his wrist. He tapped Sohko on the shoulder and pointed to the pilot’s seat.
That’s the pilot’s seat Sohko. Feel free to fly the ship if you wish.
Drexx had faith in Sohko’s abilities, but the integration in the ship was a precaution. If anything began to go wrong he could wirelessly take control of the ship. There were benefits to being an android.
