Endive was barely paying any attention to what was going on in the rest of the bar as she slowly drank from her glass, she'd returned 'home' about three hours ago and after tucking her little sister in for the night decided to spend a little time at the local bar. She'd become a regular at the bar about a month after she'd awoken from her coma. Most of the time the bar had a pretty good atmosphere and even when news of her mission and what she had become had been circulating the people generally chose to leave her be.
Sure a few idiots would come up and bother her occasionally but they were rather easily put down considering they were also usually quite drunk. Thankfully the bartender didn't much care how many people she beat down. It was a common trait of Saiyan bars, you could fight all you wanted so long as it didn't cause actual damage to the bar. Energy attacks were frowned upon due to the collateral damage they caused so anyone interested in a REAL fight usually had to take things outside.
Endive sighed as she adjusted her cloak, it was a heavy and brown and while for most it would be far to warm to wear due to the heat of the bar it was fine for Endive, heat however wasn't the reason for it, it was to cover herself up as when she did so it significantly reduced the number of people who recognized her. The last measure she'd taken to avoid people recognizing her was the removal of her mask. While in the beginning it would have been easy to identify her by her face after a few years of primarily wearing the mask in public people seemed to forget for the most part and started associating the 'Cyber Saiyan' with the mask.

The bar had seen many faces since they last saw the familiar features of Rensou Hiruen, but many of the patrons grinned as the last Hiruen flung the doors before him and stepped out of the night and into the light. The bartender immediately perked his head upward and welcomed the favored customer.
"Oi! Rens~ Will it be the regular?" he cried out as the Saiyan approached with a gait that quickly grew in purpose with each lengthy step of his muscular legs. Finally, his approach halted behind an occupied seat, reaching out an arm to tap it's occupant on the shoulder.
The touch of the digit resounded through a silent bar, the seat was Rensou's, and had always been his since the opening. Though occupied in his absence, it was always surrendered when he arrived. As each touch pressed the cloak against the clothing below, a metallic click reached his ears.
Rensou smirked, the scars covering his features stretching with the movement. Something was definitely amiss here, because, who exactly wore metal armor in this day and age? No one, that was who, and then his mind reached back to a news article he had read months ago. Could this be the survivor of that failed mission, a woman more machine than Saiyan? Possibly. Flesh or metal, it mattered not.
". . .that's my seat," Rensou informed, his voice low and calm, but nonetheless imposing. This one was a man who's orders were followed or enforced by physical means. Simply, he was not one to say please.

Endive didn't pay much mind as the bartender welcomed someone who was likely another frequent patron considering the familiarity the man had displayed in his tone. So long as this regular wasn't the loud and obnoxious type things would be fine, she tended to avoid the other bar regulars as much as possible as while the bartender was fine with her putting down normal patrons the last time she'd put down someone who was considered a regular he'd gotten a bit annoyed. He hadn't held his annoyance long as even he had to admit the man had been an idiot but Endive didn't want a repeat.
Endive tensed as she felt someone tap her on the shoulder not a few moments after the bartender had spoken. She didn't particularly like it when people she didn't know did so, heck she didn't like it when people she DID know did so either. The odd feeling that her 'armor' gave her as a sort of replication of a sense of touch was discomforting something that she hoped to have changed the next time she went to see the 'doctor'.
Endive turned her head to see who it was that wanted her attention, as she looked at the scarred man she remembered vague references to a similarly described member of the gladiatorial fighters. Her normally stoic expression switched to a frown of annoyance as he spoke. Evidently the man decided he had some claim to this seat.
Giving the bartender a brief look she saw that he didn't quite seem sure of what to do, likely he felt a bit of loyalty towards both herself and this man as it was obvious the man was a regular much like herself. "I don't much care if this is where you normally sit, I'm here now so you can either find somewhere else to sit and stay there or wait until I leave." Endive said before turning away from the man and taking another sip of her drink, with any luck he'd just walk away and this wouldn't need to be made into a big deal.

In addition to being impolite, the idea of being denied infuriated Rensou to the very core. Stifling his rage, a gladiator remained calm under the anticipating eyes of the Saiyans assembled here. . .and nearly every single one had a good idea of what would occur soon.
And now, this woman turned away from him so disrespectfully. Rensou decided to pay her back with equal measure, springing himself over and around her to set his boots upon the floor at the -other- side of the bar. The tender scrambled backwards before shaking a fist at his patron.
"You're not allowed back here! ! !" the tender began, but he quickly stopped as Rensou lashed out with a quick hand aimed directly for the face of this cloaked wench who had taken his seat, a trivial thing in truth, but her denial of his demands was the primary issue to be resolved here.
A quick flash of his hand and a tilt of his head, and the remainder of the woman's drink had been extinguished and a challenge had been issued without a single word spoken to affirm the fight or flight that would occur after the empty glass clicked against the wooden bar and Rensou folded his arms over his broad, armored chest.
". . .my seat."

While Endive had WANTED things to just blow over she hadn't really expected it to on any real level, she'd expected the man to shout at her for what she'd said and get a bit pissy over the fact that she'd turned away from him as she knew full well that in doing so she'd shown the other saiyan a lot of disrespect. What she hadn't expected was for the man to leap over her to the other side of the bar and evaporate the remainder of her glass. Looking up from said glass Endive gave the man a look of mile annoyance, as she did so her left eye would suddenly stop looking quite so normal and shift to look as if she had a scouter's lens inside of her eye.
A quick reading of the man's power caused Endive to sigh as she initially assumed that based off of the power display the man was quite literally all talk. But then her eye began to pick up on a few things. Firstly was that that man's genetic structure wasn't quite the same as a saiyan, it was almost identical but there were a few oddities, the best her genetic identifier could come up with was that the anomaly had to do with his Oozaru form, which considering there would be no full moon for quite some time was a non-issue assuming that the genetic anomaly even would be.
"I don't think you want to do this, you're not even as strong as the warriors I faced on my last mission, a fight between you and I would only serve to damage your ego and likely the bar unless we moved this outside. The last time I checked my power I was clocked in at five thousand five hundred if you need a point of reference for why fighting me would be a bad idea for you. However if you stop acting like a child and perhaps pour me a new drink to replace the one you... finished.. This won't need to become the worst beating of your life." Endive said giving the man her best 'your not work my time' look and tone.
She was fairly certain that even throwing out her old 'full power' wouldn't be quite enough to cause this guy to back down considering the way he'd been acting thus far, he seemed like he type that wouldn't care what the strength of a possible opponent might be, it wasn't inherently a BAD thing as those types generally still quite dangerous when outmatched in pure power as any sort of 'display of power' used on them was generally ineffective and often only served to make them want to fight MORE. But giving the man a chance to give up now was better than nothing as there was a decent chance she could have pegged his 'style' wrong, perhaps he was simply a full and true 'big talker' type of saiyan.

She thought him weak and unworthy of her efforts, and above that, had declared that she was capable of delivering the worst beating of his life. Rensou Hiruen's fighting career had been a casual stroll through the bowels of hell, and this woman thought herself capable of a punishment more terrible! As she finished her lengthy speech, Rensou stared down at the shadowed face beneath her cowl and openly laughed in her face.
It was not a surprise that the brash Saiyan was so self assured he was capable of defeating this woman whom had, thus far, politely denied his demanding ways. Truthfully, he should have laid zeni on the table and purchased her a replacement for the drink he had stolen and swallowed. Rensou should have apologized for his arrogant ways and minded his own affairs.
. . .but.
Rensou Hiruen had thus far been strong enough to stop anyone daring enough to stand before his demands. The victor of scores of battles in the arena, he was experienced enough to give any warrior on the planet a thrilling engagement. As for why he did not tread the moral route, well, does that need to be explained? Rensou Hiruen was a born Saiyan, pulled screaming into the world where everything had been snatched away from him. A piece of steel battered against the grindstone until all morality had been whisked away.
"One last time. My seat?"
The gladiator made his final request calmly, fighting the urge to growl out the words and strike the woman across her face as she did not move. Instead, like any respectful warrior of Vegeta, Rensou chose the path of dishonor and he offered no more word and handsprung back over the bar, the click of his boots against the floors signaling his departure.
They were short steps and they put him perfectly in range of his intended target, and with a thrust of one leg and a whirl of his hip he spun, setting off a chain of events. The first kick propelled his heel into the metal base of the stool, tearing it apart like paper. That disrespectful wench would be tumbling down as his spin continued and the second stroke of his foot would be perfectly aligned with her head.
If by some means she was actually able to stop the surprise, she wouldn't be hurled like a broken doll into the adjacent wall of the bar.
. . .if.
[Rensou currently still has his weighted bangles and anklets on. He's just slightly under 1,000 power level. . .so, she might actually be able to evade or block such an attack with relative ease.]

As the man made another flip over the bar evidently not heeding her words in the least Endive chose to turn her head ever so slightly to the side, just enough to see what he was up to as considering this was his 'last warning' of sorts she doubted that he planned to just walk off after she inevitably said 'no' she raised an eyebrow ever so slightly as the man walked a few steps off to the side and then attacked. She'd expected him to at least wait until she refused again but evidently he wanted to get the drop on her. Letting her energy flow throughout her body Endive caught herself as the stool was kicked out from under he and destroyed by the resulting impact.
As Endive released her energy as she shifted to a standing position in mid air she landed just in time for the man's second attack the kick was aimed for her head and as the kick came in Endive raised her arm and blocked it, the impact caused a bit of pain to shoot through her arm but it wasn't anything she hadn't felt before. Pushing the man's leg away Endive turned to face him fully giving him a mixed look of disappointment and annoyance. "Lets take this outside" She said in a calm and cold tone before quickly lashing out with her arm intending to grab the man bu the collar of his armor and toss him out through the bar doors.
This guy had already shown himself willing to destroy parts oft eh bar in order to get a better attack on her and considering Endive actually sort of liked this bar she had no intention of letting that continue. If her attempt to throw the man out of the bar would work Endive would head on out as well so that the real fight could begin.

Rensou beamed a smile of delight as the woman managed herself under the element of his surprise assault and raised a defending forearm to halt the force of his kick. For a moment they retained that position, before Rensou snapped his leg back to his side and had no soon automatically shifted into his stance before she lashed out at him with words and quick hand.
". . .take this outside. . ."
Those were the three words he could recall as he was flung through the door of the bar, unlocked but shut - he crashed through it with head and shoulders first, but had managed to brace himself with arms that bled with splintered wood as gravity finally took him and he tumbled across the occupied street, knocking two passing Saiyan over in his roll.
"She's strong!"
Rensou affirmed the fact with a whisper as he came to a stop against a building, lifting his carved mass to a standing position and peering through the cloud of dust for the sign of the fighter he had wisely chosen to test his skill and might against this dark night.
Those boots had spaced apart and the hands were raised before him, a chilling breeze whisking the cloud of dirt away and down the road. His vision was clear now, and he was entirely composed in that defensive posture.
"C'mon, bitch! ! !"
He cried, the gust whipping his hair sideways as Rensou Hiruen stood ready to do battle with his back against the wall!

Endive gave the bartender a look of apology before she headed out of the bar, she had forgotten that the doors swung inward and as such didn't simply fling open with the man and had rather been reduced to mere splinters. On the plus side perhaps the close encounter with the bar door had been enough to knock some sense into this guy.
As Endive exited the bar at a rather leisurely pace she noted that the man had gotten back to his feet and looked more than ready for a fight. She shook her head and ignored his words simply giving a sigh as a response. Rather than getting into a fighting stance Endive simply grabbed hold of her cloak and pulled it off tossing it to the side, she unhooked her mask from a small hook on her hip and slipped it on in preparation for the fight.
Even if she doubted that this man would be able to really provide much of a challenge it was best to be prepared regardless, as well she didn't really want her cloak getting damaged considering that there were far better uses for her money than buying a new one. "I'm curious to see what trick you think you have that would allow you to defeat me. I've already told you how strong I am. Do you not believe me?" Endive asked before activating her jets and launching herself at the man intending to take a few quick punches at his face and chest.

“. . .I'll figure it out!” Rensou lashed back as the woman approached. The body of the Saiyan had tensed when she had unveiled her machinery enhanced form, and the realization struck him that this was Endive, the soldier whom had lost her crew in a mission. Empathy rose up in the most miniscule ways before she was upon him and all that vanished, lending the path unobstructed for aggression to boil forth.
The first of her flurry had sliced out at him, and his head weaved with all the movement his power could provide and years of training, and dodged most of her initial assault. What attacks did land were grazing, enough to allow realization and a hint of pain, but nothing more.
“Not. . .bad!” complimented the weaving Saiyan in between attacks, devoting his entire self to defense and letting her reign the offensive front. Any following words were halted as she shifted levels and slammed a punch into his chest, impacting into Rensou and wreaking quite a bit of havoc. He stumbled backwards, but there was only the wall. A second well placed attack touched his jaw, pushing his head sideways.
But the eyes of Rensou Hiruen never closed in agony or panic as he next attack came exactly where he had expected. . .the chest, and his arms crossed before that armored carapace of his to receive the shock of impact. It pushed his mass against the wall and bruised the muscle beneath the skin, but those were typical of blocking such attacks from a stronger opponent.
She would change levels now that her avenue of attack to his torso was impeded!
Preemptively dodging, Rensou had set his attack up with intelligence and experience as his knees relaxed and took him under a fierce jab for his jaw. “I believe you,” he snarled as his eyes gazed up at her chin and his fist began to screech upward with all his strength and speed. The uppercut was soaring towards her with all the power of his arm and both legs.
With the attack Rensou had shown his uncanny ability to set up attacks from her mishaps and sent a very clear message. Endive would have to approach with a bit more blood-thirst if she meant to defeat the last of the Hiruen clan. Overpowered, that Gladiator definitely was. Outmatched in skill and combat expertise? Hardly.
He could only pray the uppercut would land and set some space between he and she, allowing him time to shed those damned weights at his hands and feet that were severely crippling his abilities! To think he had thought he would not need every advantage he could manage to overcome this powerful foe! Ah. . .the arrogance of a Saiyan!

Endive was rather surprised with her opponent, he was significantly tougher than his power level indicated that he should be, while his speed as about where she expected his ability to take hits was far beyond what it should be. While she wasn't exactly going 'all out' on him she was by no means holding back particularly much so the fact that he was able to take a number of hits and not seem much more affected than if she was on par with him was rather intriguing.
Endive pulled her arms up into a defensive position as the man swung a hard uppercut at her her arms took the impact and once again Endive was surprised by the power behind her opponent as the attack forced her back a bit, Endive chose to take a few steps further back and once again her left eye shifted into it's 'scouter mode' as she attempted to get a new reading on her opponent.
As she scanned him Endive was surprised to see that his power was still where it had been at the bar, however now that she knew there should be more power than what her scouter was displaying Endive took note of the clothing on her opponents arms and legs, not exactly standard issue, her eye focused in on the pieces of clothing and Endive came to a conclusion. Her opponent was wearing weighted clothing, it was really the only possibility that made sense considering what she knew at the moment.
The fact that he was wearing weighted clothing made even more sense considering the attitude he seemed to have, the fact that he seemed to genuinely believe himself capable of wining this fight despite there power discrepancy, if his power was significant without the weights then there was a fair chance that he really could stand to win the fight though Endive couldent help but doubt him to be significantly stronger. Only the best weighted clothing would be capable of weighing him down enough to make such a sizable change in displayed power.
"If you have any means of making yourself stronger, please do so now. While you seem skilled enough you currently lack enough raw power to provide a significant challenge for myself. I do not usually give chances such as this to an opponent so please take it if you can." Endive said hoping to see if her assumptions were correct.

Onyx locks whipped sideways as Rensou spat a mouthful of blood onto the pavement below when Endive stepped back, allowing him a chance to recover his wind and senses. Finally, he turned his eyes back upon the woman as her eye became overwhelmed by a singular color. Obviously one of her mechanical enhancements, Rensou surmised as she began to banter. . .much like she had been doing the entire length of their acquaintance.
“. . .means. . .” Rensou caught as she continued another of her lengthy speeches, “. . .yourself stronger,” he gathered as he formulated the best plan to place his left foot across the right side of her jaw and hopefully silence her. The best means were her wishes exactly, and the bloodstained lips of the gladiator lit his dark eyes with a smile.
“As you wish, Endive!” exclaimed that mouth of his with much vigor, the result of her blows shimmering in the lamps of the streets of Saru. The color of carnage. . .crimson. Slowly, meticulously, Rensou cocked an arm to bring his wrist closer to his chest. The other hand was set to work removing the metallic bangle from his powerful arm. A metallic hiss sounded as the intricacies of the hydraulics within the seemingly simple contraction unsealed. Like the blood before it, the bangle dropped to the concrete sidewalk Rensou stood upon.
Unlike the blood, it did not splatter and settle. What it did do was split and splinter the hard surface it had impacted, and soon afterward the other bangle did the same. “Hold your readings momentarily, machine Saiyan. . .” Rensou muttered, bending to apply the same measures to the weights about his ankles, and he kicked those aside when the task was complete.
Standing again to his full height, Rensou realigned his form into the stance his body so often called home. That smile still emblazoned on his face, he began to manifest his power visually as that beautiful ocean of energy exploded around him and compacted the surface he stood upon beneath his feet.
“Is this. . .more to your liking?!”

Endive watched with a certain amount of satisfaction as her opponent confirmed her belief that he was wearing weighted 'clothing' as well due to the damage the weights did to the ground when they hit it seemed to be that he did in fact own a very good and thus very heavy set of weights. Endive had to wonder if the man was intentionally taking his time with the removal of his weights as if not it seemed to her that those weights were rather impractical for actual battle though she suspected that he was simply taking his time considering she had asked him to fight at his full power rather than him needing to remove them quickly due to the fight going poorly.
As the last of the weights dropped to the ground Endive's left eye began reevaluating his power and once it finally finished Endive had to raise an eyebrow, now that the weights were gone her opponent topped out at just above four thousand, a very impressive level of power considering the average saiyan usually topped out just below one thousand. Endive couldent help but smirk though as she still had the power advantage, it wasn't but nearly as far a margin as before and thus the fight would most definitely be interesting if her opponent had the skill to back up his power. "Impressive, I expected you to clock in at far less. Maybe this fight wont be a waste of are time after all." Endive said before powering herself up to her own full strength.
Without another word Endive rushed back into close quarters with her opponent, once close enough she would send a few quick jabs directed at his face hoping to draw her opponents attention with that and of course deal a bit of damage, assuming he moved to protect his face at all Endive would follow this up with one last jab, the jab however would simply be to cause distraction as she brought her left knee up in an attempt to knee him in the gut. If the knee landed and managed to break his guard at least for a moment Endive would follow it up with a quick uppercut to the man's face.

Battle. A waste of time? Never. Endive was standing before a Saiyan hellbent on inflicting physical harm and enduring it every waking moment of his existence. Behold a warrior in the purest state! A lover of chaos so entrenched in the intricacies that the notion might occur he craved it like water to the parched throat.
Let there be blood across these streets like paint splattered across the canvas, Endive.
Only when one of the two combatants could stand no longer with pouring wound and broken bone would this. . .
. . .this masterpiece be completed.
She came at him like an angel of death and he recieved her with much rejoicing, his body perfection entrenched against the wall behind him. Relaxed and loose were his muscles, fluid were his movements as his hands swept in and out to recieve the blunt trauma of her blows.
A beautiful cresendo of flesh against flesh erupted as they made contact, trading pain back and forth before the android began to rip the upper hand steadily into her grasp. Sensing her advantage, Endive chose to place the joint between thigh and calf into the armored lower torso of Rensou Hiruen.
Beautiful was the execution, wonderful the results as the male bent double over that striking point and stared at the ground. . .those onyx eyes far away, in some distant place where everything was as it should be.
NO.[/b]
Those eyes were right there, in the moment of exultation when his body had finally tasted the truest pain ever dealt to him in his life. Wondrous was this feeling, this lack of oxygen and the lungs too shocked to steal it from the air around him. Endive lowered her knee and took note of the wounded man, stepping away to deliver the death knell.
With his attentions to the sidewalk beneath his feet, Rensou's expression was hidden to his foe.
She never even saw that. . .
Through the pain and destruction she had delivered to his aching body, Rensou Hiruen was utterly happy and content. Something strange was emblazoned across his scarred face.
She never even saw that Rensou was smiling!
And then the uppercut came, lifting the mass of the gladiator bodily into the air and propelling him through the building behind him like a shot from a cannon. In a descending arc Rensou crashed like a wretched doll against the hard floor, a low chuckle rippling up from lungs that had returned to life without her attentions these past few moments.
With each roll of laughter crimson bubbled up from the mouth, and that mattered so much to Rensou. This challenge was wondrous and liberating. Endive had chosen to partake in battle with a warrior among warriors, and despite the massive amount of damage Rensou had sustained in her furious attack he stood to his feet rather quickly.
For weeks Rensou had been preparing himself mentally for such occurences. Long hours in the barren plains of Vegeta had lent his muscles resiliency that far outstretched their actual ability.
Rensou Hiruen was standing on nothing but pure will and Saiyan drive, and he gathered himself off instinct and cupped his hands. Sadly she could not see the light of his ocean aura blazing around him as the Tsuruha began to form like a babe in the cradle.
Had she dismissed the Saiyan this man was!? Had she turned to return to her drinking, considering him defeated?! Woe to her if she had, because that gladiator within the wrecked building had become a cannon of flesh and bone, a creature bent on carnage and destruction.
With a lash of those powerful arms the Tsuruha was unleashed, an explosion of sound decimating the building around the last Hiruen as the ki energy cackled in the face of the sound barrier, aimed directly for where Endive had last been.
More importantly. . .would she let her favorite bar take a hit intended for her if she managed to actually realize the approach? Are you a Saiyan, Endive, or a savior?
TSU!
RU!
HA!

Endive watched as Rensou crashed through a building sending debris flying and if her ears were to be believed causing a bit of chaos for the people inside of the building, she groaned slightly as she had not quite intended to hit THAT hard as she preferred to keep the level of collateral damage she caused to a minimum mostly because she didn't want to deal with the fallout of some angry moron wanting his shop fixed.
Watching the hole in the building for any sign of movement Endive reactivated her scouter, with a sigh she confirmed that Rensou still seemed to have some power and thus was likely not dead and possibly even conscious. Because of this she waited for any sign of movement and finally after a few long moments she caught it, Rensou was up again and his power had jumped back up to full once again.
Waiting for him to exit the likely now unstable building Endive was shocked as Rensou unleashed some sort of technique causing even more damage to the building as he rocketed towards her. Endive quickly realized she could theoretivally avoid the attack even with Rensou's great speed, however in doing so unless Rensou had very good control of his technique he'd likely destroy he bar. With a slight groan Endive resigned the bar to it's fate as she rolled out of the way of Rensou's attack allowing the attack to rush past her and hit the bar causing even more chaos as the bar was significantly more occupied than the other building had been though probably a bit more structurally stable.
Endive would sigh at this as she would now have to find somewhere else to get a drink until the bar was repaired and thus she decided to take a bit of frustration out on Rensou by launching seven small balls of energy at him.
