Fight for Vegeta [Ikezu vs. Caius & Aice]

[Caius]

Caius pulled himself up to a standing position, then went down on one knee. It appeared Ikezu wasn't coming to finish off the weakened enemy, maybe he thought him dead, knocked out, but dammit, Caius was a demon. You don't just kill demons. One does not simply kick a demon in the head and finish him just like that! A somewhat prideful feeling welling up inside him, as a result of surviving a brutal onslaught as that, and he collected himself.

This is nearly impossible, but damn me if this isn't the most fun I've ever had...

He wiped blood off his face, and stood up. The harsh desert sun bright in his eyes, He heard Aice's voice shout across the sands.

"Takol's Ghost!"

Following Aice's yell, a large wave of Ki Blasts arced over the rock and towards Ikezu. Ikezu countered by firing blast after blast of an electric looking ki attack at the incoming ki attacks, blocking all but a few of them. The ones that hit made the Inaurian move backwards, but he didn't seem to be fazed more by this attack than any of the duo's attempts before.

A bright flash made Caius instinctively shield his eyes, and as his vision focused, he saw his sword stuck in a rock. The first thing he did was telekinetically pull the sword back to him. He caught it by the hilt.

Lifting his sword, and readying himself to try and catch his enemy off guard, Caius saw Ikezu's limbs come alight with a brilliant, white flame. Extending his arm, the Inaurian gave a terrifying battle cry.

"BURNING TIGER FIST!"

Ikezu extended his thumb sideways, before letting his wrist turn downwards. His thumb dropped like a guillotine, then Caius noticed Ikezu shimmer, then disappear. Ikezu reappeared behind Aice, and launched another kick to the head of his other enemy. As Aice was lifted off his feet, Ikezu followed up with what was intended to be a killing blow. Aice recovered himself just in time to bear the brunt of the blow with the strongest ki blast he could muster. The combined force sent him hurtling into the desert floor, and the small alien's body burrowed a tunnel deep into Planet Vegeta. Caius paled, and realized that without his ally he stood not even a ghost of a chance against his enemy. Looking him in the eyes, he saw something that oddly didn't terrify him.

He saw the eyes of the Inaurian, and in the eyes of the alien he saw a warrior's soul. The eyes of a man whose entire life has been lived on a foreign planet. A man whose old world was cruelly taken from him, and whose rage at his inadequacy then was channeled into his battle prowess now, to save his new home, his new friends from the whims of a tyrant. Caius knew, if he died today, that he'd died at the hands of an honorable man, fighting an honorable cause. Caius lifted his sword, pointed it at Ikezu, and gave him a nod of respect.

It was at this time that Suki showed his true power. Not that far away from the fighting trio, an immense explosion of ki, telegraphing a power level well above 200,000 ripped through the planet. Caius almost fell over, the shockwaves were so strong. The sun was overpowered for a brief, jaw-dropping instant as the purple and black ki of Touketsuki Yakedo lit the sky. Caius still felt Rensou's power signature, and was amazed that he'd survived an attack of that magnitude. It was then he realized that Suki had not even powered up to full yet, if his boasts to Caius and Jorlaxl had been at all true.

He heard a voice coming from the tunnel that Aice had created, and was shocked that his ally was still alive. He didn't know if Ikezu had heard, but he needed to defend himself from whatever attack Ikezu was going to launch next until Aice could recover from the onslaught of their enemy. Perhaps he could distract Ikezu enough for Aice to launch a powerful strike on the Inaurian?

Caius channeled his ki into his sword, and knew that despite the battering he'd received, nothing could possibly draw him away from this battle. This was where he was mean to be, sword in hand, facing down an enemy worth of his power. He felt ready to fight, whether it meant death or not. For the first time since his birth into this world, Caius knew what it meant to be sentient. This was what humans, Saiyans, what all these life-forms lived for. For a moment like this, to prove to themselves that they were worthy of life. Caius allowed his free hand to find another hole in the universe, and readied himself for the approach of his adversary.

You won't be able to get rid of me that easily, Master Ikezu.

Ikezu's spinning kick hit true and he could feel bone crack under pressure, Aice was separated from the ground and immediately Ikezu's foot rose to strike his stomach. Aice managed with the mere milliseconds he had remaining to create a ki blast of some decent power to block Ikezu's foot which smoldered for a few moments afterwords. The kick sent Aice far far underground and Ikezu would have atleast a few minutes before he would be back in the fight. More than enough time to finish Caius off.

The demon rose sword in hand, when suddenly a huge wave of palpable energy washed over him, shaking the planet. His cat-like sense of balance kept him steady as the world around him began to tremble at Suki's terrifying power. However despite Suki's onslaught it seemed that Rensou had survived.

"You won't be able to get rid of me that easily, Master Ikezu."

"I've enjoyed our game Caius, but from here on out, I won't be holding back. I have a brother who needs my help." Ikezu said looking out towards the massive flash. As the smoke cleared, he was optimistic that Rensou could hold Suki off. The truth was, he simply wanted to watch and see how things played out. He wanted to be there when the tyrants death knell had rung.

Immediately Ikezu was gone, and as soon as he reappeared he grasped Caius' sword grabbing arm and smashed it against his knee. Afterwards he'd release his full fury in a flurry of strikes. Each one meant to rip our muscles, organs, trachea, break bones, and utterly destroy. There would be no mercy, and Ikezu would not stop until he had put Caius completely out of the battle. However because he was focused fully on offensive, it would be plausible for Caius to defend long enough for Aice to make his return. Hell depending on what he pulled out of his 'Pocket' of tricks he could put a halt to the battle for a short time.

Though in all likelihood, he wouldn't come out of the onslaught without something being broken or ripped out, and most likely it would be the end of his sword play.

For Ikezu to think that the Zanzoken would deceive his enemies again was either a lack of imagination on the part of the seasoned warrior, or as was far more likely, an insult to the deductive mind of his adversary. As Ikezu disappeared, Caius whirled quickly and grasped his sword in his left hand, raising it high. Observing the Inaurian perform his technique had flooded Caius's bloodstream with pure adrenaline, and time dilated to the Makaio as his blade reached it's apex. He began to swing downwards as Ikezu appeared before him, with his flaming arm wound up for a strike.

HRAAAGH!!

With a fearsome battle cry, the demon brought his sword down in a mighty cleave toward Ikezu's right shoulder. It struck the warrior, and as the steel cut into the flesh of Ikezu's tough shoulder, before the wound could become truly serious the downward motion was cut off, and was replaced by a sideways torsion as Ikezu's right arm grasped Caius's dominant left arm, and wrenching it free of the sword, smashed the forearm against his knee. Gritting his teeth, Caius revealed his hidden weapon: he brought out a small metallic device, wrapped in yellow tape. Pressing down on a lever, the phosphorus grenade detonated, and the world was white.

All he could hear was a dull ringing. He felt his shattered forearm fall back to his side, and a clawed hand raked at him. It was meant to be a fatal injury, but Caius had preemptively tried stepping backwards to distance himself from his enemy, and the attack cut deep gouges across his stomach, a opposed to disemboweling him entirely. Caius was knocked over by the force of the attack. As he felt himself falling over, he eschewed catching himself with his good hand, and telekinetically felt forwards until he felt Ikezu's leg, then he used all his force to try and pull the alien down.

As he fell against the desert sand, a telepathic message from his leader, Touketsuki Yakedo echoed inside his head.

"Rensou Hiruen, Let it be known that this day, I Touketsuki Yakedo was merciful, and gave you the death that you have asked me for. Let this be a cold reminder to all those out there, that when you oppose the World Trade Organization, you beg for death, just as you have here!"

An immense explosion could be heard, even larger than the previous one, and Caius began to push himself up with his good right arm, the wounds across his stomach now gritted with sand through his clothing, and dripping onto the ground. An immense shockwave of ki flew across the desert for the 2nd time this fight, and this time, Caius was sure that the Saiyan general had been slain.

Caius knew that more help would be on the way soon, at least...if Suki valued him as a henchman. This was again his chance to prove his valor to his leader. He got up, and every neuron in his left arm screamed in pain, a kind of pain the demon had never experienced before in his life.

But he felt alive.

Aice stood underground, in the small cave that he created. The Ki from his hands, lit up the passage for a long ways down the tunnel. From above Aice could make out a spike in the power levels on the surface, which seemed to follow Ikezu's energy. He must be going after Caius again, that means I don't have much time to do this.

Aice turned and faced the rock wall behind him, which lead in the direction on Ikezu's power level. Pulling his arm back he smashed the rock in front of him causing it to crumble into small pieces, repeating this process Aice managed to tunnel his way under Ikezu's location.

Reaching the spot Aice stopped and dropped to a knee gasping for breath. From the light from his hands, blood could be seen running down Aice's back side, leaking on to the rocky floor. Reaching around to the back of his head, Aice could feel the thick warm blood running through his fingers. Pulling his hand to face, he could see the blood that stained his hand.

Looks like that kick did more than I thought; at the rate I'm losing blood this might be my last attack. Although...I still have those Senzu Beans...no, only for a last resort, I can keep on going.

His breath returning back to normal Aice stood up, swaying as he did. He grabbed the wall next to him for support, allowing him to keep upright. After a moment of standing there, Aice's power level spiked. The cave grew bright with his Ki energy, flooding the shadows with light. Looking up at the top of the cave Aice raised his hands above his head.

Suddenly his eyes went white and he shouted out.

"Ria-t-shi rage!"

A large beam of energy coned out from the center of Aice's hands ripping through the rock and up to the surface. On the surface the ground began to shake as the sands began to shift. Cracks appeared around Ikezu with beams of light flowing through them. The light grew brighter quickly; anything looking at the light would be temporally blind. The beam exploded through the sandy ground, enveloping Ikezu whole. The roar of the beam shrieked over the plains, and into the sky. From a distance it looked like a small sun emitting from the sandy plains.

The light slowly faded from the area, restoring to its normal brightness. It had caused large clouds of dust to be shot up into the air, only just starting to settle.Down below Aice laid against the rocky wall, with light from above now shinning down on him. His blood could be seen smeared on the wall next to him. Aice slid his back down the wall, onto the rocky ground below him.

That should have done the trick.

As Ikezu fazed in front of Caius his sword came down on his shoulder, catching just above his steel hard clavical avoiding any major arteries. Ikezu's hand caught his arm and crushed it on his knee. His other hand pulled out some sort of bomb which Ikezu wasn't familiar with wrapped in yellow tape.

Caius' thumb pressed down on a red button and everything slowed to a halt as Ikezu's adrenaline was pumped into overdrive. The casing of the bomb began to rip apart, and Ikezu's arms covered his face in preparation for the blast. White, heat, a ringing in his ears but he didn't hear a boom. What sort of thing was this that could just take away a man's senses?

Ikezu hands came away from his face and everything blurred momentarily before Caius came into focus, but a red mark only revealing a small patch in the middle where his arms had blocked the light.

Ikezu was done fighting, Caius was done living. Ikezu used his ki to increase his speed and would appear to disappear to any normal person. A flash of blue aura would be all they saw before Ikezu's burning fist crashed into Caius chest. At this speed, with Caius also disoriented there would be little chance to dodge. On impact Ikezu would 'throw' his flame and at this power it would punch straight through Caius' chest blasting apart his heart, and possibly destroying his spine.

A roar came from afar.

"Ria-t-shi rage!"

The ground shook, as bright light burned away heaven and earth itself. Ikezu saw the attack coming and flew sideways around it, as to not be caught in the onslaught. As he passed to the right he saw the source and rushed towards him. The small alien... he was still alive? He slid down the rock, blood soaking the stone behind him.

"You missed." Ikezu said.

Ikezu said, the white flames flowing into one of his hands creating a flaming ball which would lead Aice straight to hell. Or heaven. Ikezu couldn't judge someone based on who they had decided to follow. The ancient ones knew that Ikezu was no better. Saiyans were a ruthless race, but they were honorable. Ikezu too was honorable, that's why he was giving Aice a warrior's death. He wouldn't be dishonored by being left to die from his wounds. A true warrior deserved to be sent to the next world personally by his defeater.

"You would have made a good ally, next time... make better choices."

The flame flowed from his hands, and would envelope Aice in peaceful blue light sending his spirit on wards. The wall behind him would explode, and the deed would obviously be done.

With both of his opponent's dead, Ikezu would revert back to his normal form and fly high into the air to watch the remainder of Suki and Rensou's fight. He had noticed the purple beam from before, and a loss of energy. However that energy wasn't Rensou's he knew it. It was an unfamiliar energy, but judging by the change in weather he knew that something was going down.

Suddenly a bright golden light exploded, for a moment Ikezu was afraid that Rensou had passed on. But instead of his energy plummeting, it suddenly skyrocketed. What was this? A new transformation.

Ikezu had heard of Super Saiyans from his father, but the last saiyan to achieve this form to his knowledge was the old king Bardock. Was it possible that Rensou had found this ancient power?

[Caius]

The power level of the Saiyan general off in the distance spiked to astronomical levels, and with a thundering roar, he hurtled towards the Icer warlord. He glowed with a raw power, and the brilliant light crossed the desert giving it an unearthly glow.

Caius on the other hand, stood before his enemy, with only one good arm, his vision spotty, and his ears ringing. He could barely process the sensory information that was coming into him, and Ikezu quickly recovered, having had time to shield himself. Caius prepared himself for another attack, but wasn't nearly fast enough. He barely had time to turn into the attack before Ikezu was upon him, like the wrath of a displeased god. He stood mere inches before him, and Caius looked into his eyes for one split second, and knew that this would be the final blow struck against him in the battle.

The flaming fist of the warrior alien struck Caius in the chest, and he felt a few of his ribs shatter under the force of the punch. Before he could cry out, or even attempt a feeble counterattack the fire surrounding Ikezu's fist flickered, ran down the length of his arm to the point of impact, and erupted in a furious assault, tearing through Caius's flesh and severely damaging his internal organs before ripping out through his back.

The pain would have been indescribable had his body's pain dampening mechanisms gone into effect. His vision clouded over again, this time a hazy red, as his body assessed the damage that had been done, and it deemed it too much to handle. He tried to breathe, and found that nothing went in, and blood came out. The gaping hole in his chest stained the sand below him an ugly maroon color, and Ikezu stood strong above him. Caius saw a flash of light come from beneath the ground, and Ikezu deftly avoided it, before presumably annihilating its source with another hot blast of flame. Ikezu said something, Caius couldn't hear it. Then, the enemy worthy of the fight he gave left.

In the distance, the last of the Hiruen bloodline gave his life in a final effort to destroy the tyrant threatening his race, his way of life, and his very planet. The third in a series of titanic explosions of ki rocked the desert.

Caius moved his arms, feebly. He tried to get up, but without much of the musculature in his chest it was a worthless effort, only serving to bring up more blood. He slowly and jerkily reached for a pocket on the front of his destroyed robe, and found a small green bean, one that the Yakedo had told him would be able to heal any injury. With the last of his strength, his brain shutting down from the lack of oxygen, he fell onto his back again, and pushed the small legume into his mouth. Employing a titanic effort that threatened to make him heave, he chewed it up, and forced it down his parched throat.

As the bean began to work its magic on the ruined body of the Makaioshin who'd given his best to this fight, Caius thought to himself,

"I crave ice cream."

With this non-sequitur, he blacked out, the remaining reserves of metabolic energy in his body being used to keep him barely alive as the Senzu bean healed his battered frame.

Aice rested against the rock wall down in the deep cave, worn out from the previous battle. Whether or not the hit had done anything to Ikezu he didn't know. Aice could still feel his power level on the surface, and he seemed to be the same.Sighing softly Aice pulled out the little green Senzu Bean, looking it over for a few seconds and then popped it into his mouth quickly eating. Aice could feel its power working on Aice's body; the energy flowed through his veins and to the ends of his hands. Touching the back of his head Aice could feel that the wound had healed completely, stopping the blood flow. The hit to back of his head had done the most damage to Aice, with all of the blood loss from it.

Wow theses beans are amazing, in barely a few seconds I've been rejuvenated back to full strength. I'm going to have to study these to unlock how they work.

Turning back to face the surface Aice could feel Ikezu was on the move again, too bad he was blind stuck from Aice’s earlier attack. Even if the beam hadn't hit him directly or at all, as long as his eyes were open he would be blind. A crashing sound from ahead shocked the ground around him; looks like whatever Ikezu did just struck the planet. Which confirmed Aice hypothesis, the blindness would be temporary and wear off quickly but this would give Aice time to strike back.

"Well it looks like that bought me sometime, now what sho...."

Aice stopped mid-sentence, sensing that a new power level had appeared close to him. From the energy that it released he could tell that Lord Suki had enter the fight, or the ensuing slaughter. It looks like this fight was over for Ikezu, time to get back to the surface. Slowly Aice lifted into the air, floating upward through the hole he had made in the ground.

Reaching the surface Aice saw the destruction that his attack has caused, ripping the ground into pieces around the blast site. There was a black crater around the surround area, emitting a smoke trail into the air. Looking around Aice spotted Suki floating in the air, starring down Ikezu even from here Aice could sense that Suki wasn’t happy.

Looking back to where Caius was he saw his comrade lying on the ground, his power level was weak but he was still alive, most likely he was passed out from the hit. Walking over to Caius he bent down by his side, putting his shoulder under his arm and lifted Caius onto his feet, or more of his knees being that Cauis was much larger than Aice.

"Come on let’s get you back to the ship, as much as I would love to see Ikezu get smeared across the ground, I needed to get you back home."

Floating in to the air, Aice flew back towards the ship. Taking one look back at Suki and Ikezu, Aice knew that this would probably the last time Aice would see him whole.

After a few minutes on flying Aice reached the ship, slowing his speed he landed at its doors. The doors opened up for him, as if the ship was welcoming Aice back home. With Caius on his shoulder, Aice pulled him back to his room. It was dimly light but Aice could see quite well, looking around the room it was pretty much the same set up as his. Finding the bed Aice trudged forward, laying Caius on the bed.

:You fought well, I wouldn’t have made it out of there alive without your help."Aice said walking out of the room.

The door closed behind him, leaving the room silent, aside from the sound of Caius's breath.

Thoughts

Ikezu, taking hits is as important as dealing them out, I think you assumed your powerlevel outweighed your opponents, and didnt consider that both of them were attacking you at once. You PL total could have been higher.

Caius: Quality beats quantity, but you do need quantity, Post as much as you can when you do, the more you post the higher your PL grade (If what you post is good)

Aice: Keep up with the pace of the fight, I noticed we waited on you a bit
