“ . . .I see it through to the end,” the man had stated, and Rensou chuckled and nodded all the while he spoke, drinking every word, for it was sweeter than any of the liquor and brew he had downed this night. A stroke of luck had drawn these two souls to the same bar upon the same eve, and now here they stood, one a Super Saiyan, and the other with all the qualities within his soul to become another. Boliko had risen to the state, and Rensou himself had followed shortly after. The King of Vegeta had been born with a power unbelievable, and the General had disappointed his elite parenting with an average power of 992. It seemed with the correct mindset and the appropriate amount of strength, any Saiyan could tap into the fabled transformation and call it his or her own. As foretold, the Saiyan and his sky locks came forward, fully prepared to test himself against an overwhelming opponent. A burst of speed severed the distance Rensou had set between them, and a fantastic attack was delivered. Sadly, for all the tenacity and technique incorporated into the finest details of the movement, it did not hurt when it struck the former Gladiator. His ki was simply too great, and the very thing had empowered his durability to heights that Rensou's nervous system hardly registered the blow. The act triumphed on a grander scale, however, as each and every assembled Saiyan stared in surprise, verbally expressing the fearlessness of this unknown combatant from the countryside. It impressed the General even more, and he became a blur of movement before he reappeared with his back to the larger fighter, he was now facing the crowd. “Saiyans! Behold a Saiyan among Saiyans! A man of skill and strength, a warrior of courage and resolve! Even aware of whom he fought, he stood, steadfast. Even overpowered, he rose to the occasion. Yuumaru Mori is a shining example of what you all should strive to be!” With the speech, the crowd roared their praises towards the now revealed Yuumaru Mori, but the fact remained that the budding warrior had never revealed his name to Rensou, but if he would only think for a moment he might realize the calculating General left nothing to chance. Sources and associates had quickly supplied Rensou with every bit of information he had asked of them the moment the above-average fighting strength had set foot in Saru. . .Rensou Hiruen, in a sense, knew much of Yuumaru Mori, but there were multiple things he would have never become aware of without the trials he had lain before the man. Rensou Hiruen had tested the skill, resolve, and courage of the man in their battle and found him overflowing in each and every quality. Yuumaru Mori was the type of warrior Rensou Hiruen needed to carry the banner of the Saiyan Solar Empire. The typical Saiyan soldiers would never be enough against the threat of a galactic war, and it would be men such as Yuumaru whom would firmly tilt the odds in the favor of the people of Vegeta and their allies. The speech was concluded, and Rensou turned to offer Yuumaru the Saiyan salute: the elbow pointed straight downward, the forearm angled diagonally over the torso and the fist balled over the breast. With the prospective recruit in his sight, Rensou powered down. His body relaxed, his strands regained their coal hue and his eyes followed suit. There was one last thing Rensou Hiruen knew not of Yuumaru Mori. “ Would you join me inside for a beer?” If the answer was an affirmative, Rensou would lead the way and two vacant stools inside would be filled by the General and his potential recruit.

The hit had solid feedback from his fist, but the evidence was clear between their powers, it wasn’t even a tickle to this General’s power. There wasn’t a thing he could do about it though, he already chose the road that he would follow, and this was where it led him. He was expecting a serious form of retaliation as well, so when the Saiyan disappeared in a blur his body tensed waiting for the strike that would surely end the battle there. However, when he heard the voice addressing the crowd right behind him, his face took on a surprised expression, the fact that he had done that so quickly without detection. There were leagues between them, well, that was fine, it made the challenge of catching up and surpassing all the more worthwhile.
Course the claims of fearlessness were unfounded as well, anyone that didn’t feel fear was unsuited for battle. Fear was what kept someone on their toes, and made sure that they refrained from doing something without any forethought into the matter. He wasn’t fearless, no, anyone that looked at his hands would know that he had been afraid of the legendary being, the fact was there was no turning back. He would rise to any adversity, that was what those Saiyans needed to learn as well, enjoying the fight was one thing, fighting stupidly was a completely different thing. That was where the General had earned the taller Saiyans respect as well, he noted the points where he had been rushed, and knew they weren’t simple wild charges.
Wait…he had just heard his name being spoken, and he was pretty sure that he had not introduced himself to this man yet. His eyes glanced towards the General, had this whole thing been a setup then, or was he just that thorough to get information on anyone that entered the city. Either way, to have that level of information was something not normal, so he would have to give credit to the people that worked under him as well. They sure knew how to dig into the nooks and crannies pretty damn well to find what they were looking for.
Well, that was neither here or there, the fact was that he knew who Yuumaru was, and now, Yuumaru knew who he was as well. Sheesh, if there was ever someone to pick a fight with, it was the freaking General of the Saiyan Solar Empire. He turned to see the General power down, and he did the same, letting his aura die down and his body relax, relieving a bit of the pain from those hits he took. The salute wasn’t something he had expected either, most of the other governing bodies would have punished him for raising a fist to a ‘superior’ the term used loosely for those people. He respected the general though, he’d shown him a helluva fight and the difference in their power, so his own arm mimic’d the salute.
“Sure, I could use something to drink right about now,” he nodded, waiting for the shorter Saiyan to lead the way.

The pair sat, and Rensou reached outward to gather a handful of napkins and pressed it to the blood still dribbling from his lips, a reminder of Yuumaru's skill and striking power. The man was a skilled warrior, there was no doubt about it, and he had all the resolve and determination to become a very valuable soldier. What Rensou saw in the man was the ability to become a finely tuned Saiyan of pure, dominating power, and he let him know it then and there as the tender set a pair of bottles down before the two. “You're an excellent fighter, Yuumaru Mori,” he smiled, popping the top away with a twist of his palm before he swallowed a mouthful of Bardock's Best.
“My men were correct, the empire needs people like you. You're something beyond the typical soldier of our ranks, and I respect that, and thus, I am going to answer your questions.” Rensou set the bottle down before wiping more blood away from his lip to stay it from dripping onto the bar, and thus far, he was doing a pretty fine job. This hole in the wall joint was one of his most favorite establishments, and often he found himself here before he returned home to be with his young son.
“You wanted to know if the Saiyan Solar Empire had powerful warriors, and I believe I am testament to that. The King, Boliko Koregutsu, has also ascended to the legendary state I just displayed,” with that, one of Mori's questions was fulfilled.
“As for benefits, we have the best training facilities available: gravity chambers, simulation devices. . .for a man of your skill and courage, I'll see if I might be able to pull a few strings and get you a set of weighted clothing to augment your training,” Rensou had tossed out the hook, and set the bait along the barb. The Empire required capable soldiers, and Yuumaru Mori, like any Saiyan, required power and recognition.
Would he bite?

It was good to sit after that little bit of a scuffle, the left that had gone through still had him a bit dizzy, the chance to focus was welcomed. Taking a couple napkins himself to stop the bloody nose that had been going on as well, applying pressure to the hit area to try to adjust the cartilage. His mind was winding down from the battle, and he almost missed what the General had said to him, as the drinks were placed in front of them.
“Thanks for the compliment, but I’ve still got lots of room to improve as well,” where most took the compliment and let it swell their head, his was always filled with ways to improve. Even now, his mind was running through ways that could have gone better for him, not that he was whining about the past mind you.
Twisting the cap off the battle, he let the cold brew wash down his throat, a slight stinging sensation in a couple of spots. Probably places his teeth had managed to cut during the scuffle, it wasn’t a big deal to him, but it left a stinging warning to be careful. He listened to what Rensou was saying, turning his attention towards him as well, especially when he said that his questions would be answered. That was what he was looking for, finally, he could find answers to the questions and make a fully informed decision regarding where he went.
“So, the King and the General have brought the legend to reality, not a surprising thought really. I’m actually intrigued by the power itself, it was something that even if you see it, you can’t quite believe it. Besides you both, are there strong warriors?” it was good that the leaders of it were, but he wanted to know that if he was teamed up with someone else, he could trust their power. It seemed a strange thought, but if he was going to fight in enemy territory, he wanted a strong warrior at his back, as he was sure the other would. That would also mean, Yuumaru would need to push his body beyond the normal limits, and catch up with the others in terms of power.
The benefits were spoke next, and he listened closely, while they weren’t as important, he would probably be putting them to use. It seemed he did leave an impression on the man beside him though, as he offered to pull strings and get him a set of weighted clothing to use for enhanced training. That sounded like something he could definitely get into, and he nodded his head. It seemed like this would at least be a good way to get himself situated in terms of power, it was a damn good opportunity.
“Alright, if I can face some of the strongest people around with you lot, you’ve got yourself a recruit,” he nodded and lifted his bottle signaling for a traditional ‘clinking’ of the bottles to seal the deal.

Yuumaru brought up the point that he had much room for improvement, and that was certainly true, but that said nothing ill of any man. Rensou Hiruen could grow in the ways of combat, as well as the mighty King. The realization that one was not at a peak was a blessing, thought the ex-gladiator, as he spoke his mind. “We all can improve, friend,” and he took another swallow of the ale while listening intently to this man whom had fought honorably against him, and given the means, would definitely rise to a similar level of power soon. Rensou had presented the means, and Yuumaru explained he would gladly partake in their cause and contribute to furthering it, if only there were other strong warriors he might test himself against so that he might be prepared for the true enemy: The World Trade Organization.
“Aye, Yuumaru Mori! The Saiyan Solar Empire boasts the mightiest fighters in the galaxy, men like you and I!” he chuckled, clapping the man on the back, “On the morrow I depart to visit Namek, our ally, and will soon return with the standouts of their people for Saiyan training!” The hook finally set, and the Saiyan with the sky spikes agreed to become a part of their organization. Rensou lifted his bottle and toasted the good fortune of the battle and the aftermath. Another loyal Saiyan was now under the banner which would sweep over the universe.
“I would like it if you would accompany me to Namek, Yuumaru. My sources inform me you've been renting at an inn. Let us go and gather your things, you shall stay with me and my son this night,” he insisted, before offering another toast. “And in the morning, Namek!”

“True enough, I doubt there’s a true warrior around that thinks he’s reached the top,” it seemed to be the natural order. The boastful ones claimed they were the best, while the true warriors walked passed the loud ones without a care. He would always be climbing, and there would always be a target to surpass, he would never stop really, he smirked at the realization. Life wouldn’t be boring at least, that was for damn sure, as he took another drink of the brew, he’d have to see who his path brought before him next.
“That’s good to know, as long as I have people I can trust at my back, then I’ll be fine,” he nodded, feeling better that it wouldn’t be a small handful of people. What he said next did surprise him though, Namek, eh? Without hearing much or seeing a Namekian, he was curious as to what one was really capable of himself, “That sounds intriguing, do they have powerful warriors there?” he wanted to know, simply if he could have a fun fight with some Namekians. If they could offer him a real challenge, then he would be more than happy to fight against them, win or lose.
Of course, he wasn’t expecting to being asked to accompany the General to the planet for his mission, well, it certainly sounded like a good opportunity. He mulled the idea over, it would be a good chance to see what exactly was out in the rest of the universe as well. Nodding, that would be the best thing right now, he wanted to see what the other races were like and measure just what kind of warriors they had.
“I’ll do that then, it should be an eye-opening experience at least, and thank you for the offer. If you’re sure I wouldn’t be bothering anything, then I’ll gladly accept it,” he toasted to the goals. Tomorrow would be Namek, and a whole universe waiting for him, he would not leave it without making a lasting impression. “Tomorrow Namek, after that, the universe will learn of my name.” A declaration of his intentions, he wasn’t being arrogant, he was just letting it be known, what he intended.

“If Koregutsu,” the King, Rensou meant. . .it was simply his habit to refer to those whom he knew by their surnames. “. . .is to be believed, aye, they have fine warriors,” Rensou stated, but he would have to see it to believe it. The man was born and bred a Saiyan, taught by his family that it was they whom held the right to be the most powerful in the universe, and that everything was beneath them. Without the treaty and alliance the young King had formed, there was possibility that Namek would be subjugated and used for Saiyan gain. . .still, perhaps the peoples of both planets might mutually benefit.
Rensou's personal beliefs and prejudices aside, he would do as Boliko had asked of him. In a few short hours his ship, The Gladiator, would take off and carry within it the General, Yuumaru, and his son, and Namek would produce a warrior by whatever means required.
Rensou stood, digging into his armor for a small satchel of coin. Once found, it was tossed to the tender. “Let us depart, neh?” the Saiyan offered. If Yuumaru was prepared to exit the tavern, Rensou would follow him to whatever inn he had been staying and allow him time to gather his things before they would head for the Hiruen Estate, a mansion Rensou had literally stolen from a corrupt businessman whom treated his stable of Saiyan gladiators rather unfairly. The walls had since been repainted, and no Saiyan spoke of the murderous rampage that had occurred there.
Once they passed through the gates Yuumaru would note the wealth of the General, the complex was fairly large. Multiple recreational buildings, a private spaceport, swimming pools, hot tubs, and the like scattered the grounds, all a herald to Rensou's earned position of power. Once inside the intricately carved front door their feet would tread upon tiles hewed of fine stone from some grandiose world, silken curtains, luxurious furniture, all products of blood, sweat, and tears. Perhaps Yuumaru Mori might call something akin to this his own one day. A quick tour was in order, and the necessities pointed out: the kitchen, the guest bath, and the room Yuumaru could use whenever he liked.
“Ayleen?” Rensou whispered, and the voice of the intricate computer system whispered back – marvelous technology harvested from the Tuffles. “Yes, Master Hiruen?” she chimed, and Rensou smiled at Yuumaru. “She can prepare you whatever meals you like, and literally control anything within this house – the temperature of your shower, the amount of sugar in your coffee. I'll be surprised if you can figure out a task she's unable to accomplish.” Rensou explained before speaking to the artificial intelligence system once again. “Make sure Yuumaru is comfortable, Ayleen,” and with that done Rensou would smile and bow, “In the morn, Namek. Sleep well, Yuumaru Mori.”
Finally, Rensou would turn and walk out of the room, deadset on finding his bed.

The King said that they had fine warriors, hm? Well, he would have to try them for himself then, and see what kind of mettle they were made out of. He supposed he was getting ahead of himself though, they were going for a specific reason, so he’d make sure it was taken care of before anything. That was technically apart of his duties now, to make sure that they accomplished whatever mission they were given. It seemed like a foreign concept to him almost, the first time he was actually being given a mission to complete. Shaking his head, he’d worry about it in the morning, right now there was other things to deal with, and he wasn’t about to go wasting time.
“Mm, let’s get going,” he agreed, standing was a lot easier now, with his head fully cleared again. He made his way to the inn, and gathered his bag, it held everything he owned essentially, but was small regardless. There wasn’t a lot he had, or at least, he would be having a lot less soon enough, the past was just that to him and there was no point hanging onto trinkets. His gauntlets were something he made sure to keep with him though, those were his personalized weapons, so to speak.
The estate was much large than he was expecting really, the sheer magnitude dwarfing his imagination by quite a bit. Which just made the reality hit all the harder, this was how someone that was high ranked lived, and at least Rensou was one to have earned his spot. How many politicians or businessmen were living like this, without earning that spot with their fists? He noted the different places he could see just from following the shorter Saiyan, that alone was impressive for what he saw.
When the tour was given, he was even more in awe of the sheer size of the estate, nothing could compare to it where he came from. Then again, that shouldn’t be too surprising really, considering, but the factor was still in his mind. He did get a good detail of where everything was though, he’d put it to use later on.
The General whispered a name, and before he could ask about it, he heard the voice and raised an eyebrow slightly. Was there someone there? Rensou turned to him, and explained that there was something to control the functions of the house, he nodded. “I see, well, that at least means I wasn’t crazy. I’ll thank you in advance for taking care of me, Ayleen,” it seemed only appropriate that he thank whoever she was as well. “Tomorrow, Namek. I’ll be ready,” there was nothing else he needed to say about it, he was going to set himself for a serious focus on these missions.
“Sleep well,” he nodded, crossing his arms as he looked around the room. Right now, there wasn’t anything else for him to do, but to get some rest and make sure he was ready for tomorrow. It seemed his life was going to take a turn for the interesting. (PL please)

5200 I liked the interation, but I did not see the fight as anything huge. While well written I could not justify a higher grade. In short; Your lucky Rensou graded and not me [Rensou: Added my PL since you disappeared. ]

I accounted for it actually having to be a fight for Yuumaru. Not so much for Ren.
