This job had one of the best benefits for him that he could think of, it gave him solitude. Which meant he could focus on the task without worrying as well, as he checked the terminal he was at, checking the status of all the security measures. Everything was intact, so he would patrol the building and make sure that it was all secure. It wasn't that he didn't trust the equipment, but he preferred the hands on approach to things. It gave him something to do rather than sit there and watch a screen all night.

Wandering the corridors of the large building, he searched for any possible intrusions. Also inspecting the cameras and the like for any signs of tampering, he was thorough and would not let anything escape his grasp. Of course, he had taken his own measures as well, in placing traps of his own. They were simpler, but possibly much easier to overlook in a building. The only sound to keep him company was the sound of his own footsteps echoing softly.

His senses were at their sharpest, and no noise or scent would get passed him. This was the dedication of Hector, if he had something to give himself towards, it was never half-assed. Still, despite that things were quite, he had one of the pistols readied with the safety off. He was fairly confident in his ability to be use it before he was attacked, just in case, he readied a blast of his wolf claw. He smirked at a thought, his mind wandering for a moment, as this seemed like the setting of an animal that was patrolling its territory for any that would invade.

It was rather appropriate given the circumstances, but he couldn't help finding the thought amusing. There seemed to be nothing going on for the moment though, and the hybrid returned to his post, the night seemed fairly calm for the time being. It seemed like it would be a quiet night, which was sadly a bit dull, but at the same time it meant that there was temporary peace. A rare thing to be found on any world, but he supposed it was better than the alternative, this way people wouldn't need to be hurt.

It made earning his check rather easy, and that was something he definitely wouldn't complain about. After all, a job was a job, and this one just happened to be easy enough.
