With Gurin declining to continue and both the holographic and gravity systems shutting down at the Namekian’s mental command, Zach relaxed. Although the bout wasn’t as physically challenging as he would have liked, he was sufficiently drained by the over all experience so as to be able to expect considerable improvement all around, not just in the physical sense. The cloning ability alone presented many new possibilities that justified the time spent away from the school today. This along with further training of his teleportation and it’s first use in combat further fulfilled the blonde’s desire for productivity with his time.
Then, as Zach was looking for the seats they had occupied earlier the Namekian went on to say something that sounded a little odd. Rust wasn’t going to defeat anyone, power is what would defeat Earth’s enemies, total, unstoppable, irresistible power. “I think you have that a little cockeyed, power is what we need to repel the barbarians at the gates. Trust is nice but when it comes down to the question of who is stranger, we have to be sure that we are on top. If that means surprising you or I with an ambush or training, then that’s what we should do. Trust in that case would just make us complacent.” Zach responded, taking Gurin’s comment in a completely different direction then the Namekian might have intended and at the same time, discretely suggesting a course of action. Gurin’s boys were no match for either of them and as of yet Zach had only met them once. The blonde was in essence dropping the hint that Gurin should arrange a meeting in the future, one in which the three Namekians might pay him an unfriendly visit when he least expects and it least prepared.
Gurin had before demonstrated the ability to read minds in the past, or at the very least, surface thoughts so he was hoping the green man would pick up on the hint without him actually having to say it. Zach was looking for what amounted to a beat down, something to push him to his limits and beyond while at the same time bringing the four closer together, as Gurin stated with different meaning, they needed to trust each other. Zach though had purposely left the red Majin out of his mental image of the encounter, he didn’t trust the monster and never would. The Majin was too dangerous and unpredictable, especially with it’s propensity to try to eat people. Indeed Zach had informed Gurin that should the monster and he cross paths and the latter engage in anything even remotely nefarious, Zach wouldn’t hesitate to dispatch the creature. These thoughts of course leaked into the mental image Zach was producing since one had to think about something to avoid thinking about it. Hopefully though the image was clear and to the point, with out distortion or misinterpretation.
“Mmmm, well if there’s nothing else then I’ll be getting back to the school.” Zach continued after giving Gurin plenty of time to read him. I’ll see you in a few weeks.” the blonde added and then lifted off, ascending up through the same opening in the half finished roof that he’d arrived through earlier. With the gravity turned off and only his weights restricting him, flight was once again possible, the small amount of energy he was producing proving more then enough to sustain a moderate cruising speed as he arced up and out of the dome and then turned back for the Victory School.
{Topic concluded, applying for power level increase. My weights are in effect as is gravity.
