2 weeks after the fight
With a giant gasp, Requies Artog shot up from his dreamless sleep. A stinging pain shot through his lungs. He brought his weakened arms around his chest, panting badly. He groaned, which didn't help his condition either! The last thing he remembered was being asked questions by that disturbing creature by one of the island's lakes.
"Shit... The doj-" He said, looking around in a frantic manner, to only stop mid sentence. Requies was in his room at the Crane School, with a pair of crutches leaning on a night stand next to his bed. He groaned in pain, lying back down and clutching his chest. His bones seemed to have been readjusting back to what they were previously like. However... The wounds remained in him. He still felt the pain in his lungs from the bone pushing against it. Requies was lucky the bone didn't break and rip open the organs in the process.
"OH! You're awake," a voice called out from the hallway. A balled man, wearing the symbol of the Crane school on a green robe with black sleeves, came in to the room. Requies recognized him as one of the students studying here at the school.
The ex-soldier tried to speak, but pain shot through him. The student walked over and told him, pushing Requies down gently back on the pillow, "Don't try to sit up and speak. It'll cause all the healing you've done to go to waste."
"What happened? Where was that red creature I fought against?"
The student sighed before stating, "It's a shame... I wished he stayed longer, but he left long before we found you outside the dojo's entrance, with a note tucked in you gi."
He knelt down and opened up a drawer on the nightstand, pulling out a partially blood stained note from it. He held it up, stating, "No doubt, this was his handy work, but you seemed to get on that good side he has in him. Would you like me to read it to you?"
Requies nodded. The monk held it up to the light and read the letter.
"Very well then.'Requies,
You have proven yourself to be more powerful than I gave you credit for. You have the potential to be a great savior and protector of people. I only hope you stay along that path and don’t seek out revenge. Remember our little incident that occurred today. Carry it with you. Become as strong as I am. Fight to protect those your care about and those you don’t know.
I do have a personal favor to ask you. I have friends, or at least I did at some point. They were good at doing what you desire to do and what I do. They protect people. Seek them out for they will be able to help you become more powerful to achieve your goal. Tell them the bubblegum man sent you. Until then watch for my exploits as I defend the Earth.
Sincerely,
Kazama.'
Requies looked up at the ceiling, smirking slightly. He muttered, "So that's his name... Kazama..."
He paused a bit, as he looked at the monk. He asked, "I don't suppose you know whom he's talking about... Do you?"
"I'm afraid I don't know. I heard stories about him when I joined the school a little while after. I'm afraid I can't help you there... But we should leave that at that for now. In the mean time, lets get you some food. I'll get you some soup and water."
The student got up and walked out of the room, some muttering being heard from down the hall. However, it was incoherent to Requies's ears. He looked at his crutches, then to his bag of possessions. He remembered that he had 2 of these strange beans in it that healed people right up... Or as he was told.
He reached limply to his bag and dragged it up on to the bed. It was thankfully light enough for him to do so in his current state. Requies wasn't normally one for superstitious stuff, but then again, when he was back in the military, they did very strange practices to enhance muscular and brain development, not to mention healing. He dug through his bag until he found the small pouch the beans were kept in. Pulling them out and opening the pouch, he took a bean and placed in his mouth. He chewed it and swallowed the bean. Nothing seemed to happen, as he thought.
"So much for 'magic' senzu b-"
A sudden wave of energy shot through his system, as he felt the bone pop right back into place and healing instantly. He sat right up, as he shouted, "WOAH, WHAT THE HELL!?"
He patted down his chest, feeling the wounds having gone away! Requies got up from his bed, looking at himself. Energy seethed through him once again, as he felt back to his old self! It was amazing! The student got back to the room, dropping the soup on his feet and yelping in pain.
"What on earth are you doing out of bed?! You need your rest," the student shouted!
Requies looked at him, telling him as he pounded a fist onto his chest repeatedly, "No, it's fine! See? I'm good!"
He quickly made his way past the student, sprinting down the hall as fast as he could. The monk stood there for a moment, wondering what just happened, before picking up the broken bowl pieces and going back to what he was doing.
Requies made his way out into the court yard, shouting in glee, "I'M BACK, BABY! WOO!"
He hopped in the air, flying around as fast he could. Requies was in a very delightful mood at the moment, having forgotten the note and Kazama briefly. He dive bombed to the ground and landed on his feet before looking at his hands. He clenched them into fists and opened them up again, to see how much back to normal he was.
"Hmm... Yeah, everything seems to be going good here..."

"N-No, please! You win, I-!!" were the last words out of the young man's mouth before finding Fudotatakai's fist driven into his stomach, knocking the wind out of him and taking his consciousness away. The tall half-demon stood up and sighed, shaking off the mild discomfort in his hand before turning to face the small crowd who had come to watch the fight, if one could call it that (it looked to bystanders like more of a beating). When Fudo delivered his final punch to his foe, he usually did it with a smile that was accompanied by the warm feeling of a job well done. This time... It was different. He wasn't happy with the victory, and now that he thought back, his last several victories felt empty. It didn't take a genius to figure out that he craved a real challenge, not these empty victories. Fudo had grown much stronger than when he had first set out on his lifelong journey, and finding random competitors on the street was no longer a viable method of seeking a battle. It had been quite some time since he felt his blood pumping, the adrenaline of a possible defeat. Believe it or not, he was getting bored with fighting. After leaving the small trading town, Fudotatakai supposed that it was time to move on from the area he was settled in. He had been searching for challengers in the same general mountain range for several months now, and he knew the area was no longer ripe for combat. He'd heard rumors about strong fighters in the place known as 'Crane School' or something like that, so he decided to head there. He'd grown quite fond of mountains over the years, as was evident by the evacuated villages in the area. Many martial artists enjoyed the peaceful environment in which they were able to meditate and train without interruption or distraction. Fudo agreed with such opinions, though his number one reason was merely the fact that the mountains were so popular. Luckily, the martial arts dojo in question wasn't very far off, only about ten miles away from his settlement. Once his few belongings were packed up into a small rucksack, Fudo focused his Ki into his legs and crouched down, releasing his energy and dashing at high speeds towards his destination. ********** After a few minutes of sprinting, Fudotatakai arrived at a relatively scenic mountain, a small building perched on top. It looked like every other martial arts dojo he had come across in the past, but this one was both larger and considerably nicer-looking. It had better decorations, and was adorned with an emblem that resembled some kind of bird, probably a crane, as the name suggested. "... Hm." Fudo hummed to himself, casually making his way up the slope towards the dojo. He was a little confused... Throughout his career as the 'Demon of Battle', he had acquired a rather powerful ability to sense the Ki of others... But this building contained very little of it. A few decent fighters here and there, but no one that would likely provide him with a challenge. The man grimaced, hoping that this wouldn't be a waste of time as he continued walking closer to the school. Suddenly, he blinked, feeling a wave of energy begin to surge from within the building. His eyes narrowed as he looked up, making out what seemed to be a man flying through the air above the building. Fudo nodded, a small smile briefly appearing on his face before he exhaled, continuing his walk upwards at a faster pace. Finally, the large man made it to the front of the building where he was greeted by a young acolyte of the Crane School. The small man was visibly afraid of Fudo, but introduced the building nonetheless. "U-Um, hello... S-Sir..." the boy said. Fudo just stared down at the pupil, his face holding no readable emotion. After a few awkward seconds of silence, the boy spoke up once more. "Um... Welcome to the New Crane School. Here, we um... We teach many people about the-" "Bring me your strongest fighter." Fudotatakai interrupted the boy, growing a bit impatient with his babbling. "... I beg your pardon?" the boy asked with a frown. Fudo responded by leaning down, somewhat threateningly, and repeating his demand. "The one who flew. Bring him to me. I want to fight." he stated with a hint of anger. He then stood upright again and took a breath, calming down a little. He didn't like having his anger get the best of him, no matter how much stronger it made him. "Y-Yes sir!" the boy said, bowing quickly before running inside to retrieve the one Fudo was referring to. (( Correct me if there are is more than one fighter inside at the moment. ))

(You are correct.)
Requies lifted up his right leg and balanced it as best he could with his arms, trying to keep them parallel. He'd been asleep for a while and he needed to still stretch his bones. He held the posture for about 30 seconds, then moved on to balancing with his other leg for the same amount of time. He then hunched over, to touch his toes so his hamstrings could loosen up. It proved painful at first, but he continued on, the pain subsiding after a minute. Requies then bent backwards, to the point where he would fall to the floor. He placed his hands on the dirt, stretching the muscles in his back. His bones cracked in a very relaxing manner, like relieving all the pressure from a long day's amount of work at a construction site.
He then let himself collapse on the dirt, letting himself rest a little bit, before going to sit ups. As he did then, one of the younger students of the Crane School came rushing up to him. He stopped a few feet away and bowed to Requies, stating, "Excuse me, Mr. Requies! There's a strange man out front that wants to fight you."
Requies sat up and looked at the boy in an inquisitive manner.
"What? Granted, I'm feeling great and all, but..."
He stopped for a moment, thinking back to what Kazama asked him and Requies's response. The kid was spooked by whatever individual was at the front gate. The ex-soldier got up on his feet and walked over to the boy, patting him on his head.
"You know what. Lets go say hi to the fellow."
Requies hopped up and flew over the Crane School building. He looked down to the gate, to see a man about his own size, standing there. He had black hair and tannish skin. At least the man wasn't a monstrous looking guy. The man looked a bit angry at someone. Requies flew down and landed on the ground in front of the man. He crossed his arms, as he asked, "Can I help you with something, sir?"

Fudotatakai was a patient man when it came to waiting. He spent many hours a day honing his ability to pick out various power levels in the area, and wasn't bothered by the few minute wait for his next challenger. As the seconds passed by, he began to examine the fact that his opponent-to-be contained a considerable amount of physical and spiritual energy, perhaps even more than Fudo himself. Of course, this was a reason to be happy in his mind. Despite his somewhat threatening presence, the Demon of Battle was fairly excited. He also wasn't the kind of guy to grin to himself, hence his bland expression (which admittedly looked pretty ominous) and idle behavior.
The man remained still, his arms cross over his chest as he kept his eyes fixated on the door to the dojo. He took the opportunity to focus some of his energy, raising his detectable power level in preparation for use. He hadn't yet mastered the use of his Ki, but he was getting used to the idea of translating the energy into physical strength, especially when using the powerful punch he'd created a while back, which quite literally overloads his arm with Ki in order to power up a punch to an extreme level.
Finally, Fudotatakai's opponent emerged, though not in a way Fudo had predicted. He supposed he should have guessed that the man would fly in, as such a method of transportation seemed much more convenient than just walking. Really, the man wasn't impressive-looking in Fudo's eyes. He had rather developed muscles, and was fairly tall, but lacked any sort of threatening presence that would be suggested by his power level. In response to the man's question, Fudo just blinked, retaining his blank, firm stare. "You and I will do battle." he stated plainly, almost in a commanding tone. Fudo wasn't about to take any excuses from his opponent, as he came for one thing only: A good fight.

((OOC: Well, I seen open, and my landing thread went nowhere. So I guess I'll pop in. Should I get behind, skip me.))
Alot of ships seem to crash on Earth for some reason. And Jaxine's old, piece of crap pod would be yet another to make a nice new crater in some back ass field of Yunzabit Heights. The post impact situation was one of nothing in the pod working correctly, and a mass spewing of the fuck-word over and over until impact.
A farmer in the distance sees the fireball fall, with a faint 'puff' sound come from far away. He scratches his head, and goes back to raking.
Jaxine however, was quite displeased with her pod. She couldn't even get the door open. "Stupid mother of a son's damned blasted crap ass..." she ranted on, until the emergency open leaver for the door broke off.
"FUCK!" SMASH!
the door spiraled out of the crater after she had cranked one leg back to deal the damage. She flopped forward on all fours, crawling for a second before she stood and stretched herself all out. "There. Much better." she said. She walked back over, pulling her large hammer from inside and began to walk away.
She spun around. Rose a hand. BOOM! Another crater within the crater. "There, goddamn junk pile. See you in hell." she said. She had a tendency to speak to inanimate objects. It was part of her condition...
Now, it was time to go see what kind of mess she can get into on this random floating garbage rock she called E-arth.
--------------------------------
Well, their sun was sure bright enough. She walked on down some trail she found, trying to use her energy senses to find some people. She found an abandoned farm a ways back. Nothing there at all, and nobody for miles.
She burned it down and laughed. Somebody somewhere would get an insurance check, and she got to vent some of her frustration. Win-win.
Continuing on, a couple powers faintly came into her range... witch wasn't very far, and she decided to go check it out. She moved through the woods trying to be stealthy and unseen though if anyone had actually been looking for her, she would still be easy to find. She was by far no Ninja. But the two men she seen were too busy doing the post-battle staredown.
One was clearly a Saiyan, like herself. She didn't notice any tail right off, but his energy was similar to hers. And the other guy was a... She tilted her head. The hell even IS that thing? she thought to herself. Whatever it was, it looked creepy.
She would hang back for now, and soon would either jump in to take one by surprise, or may be sneak into the building and raid the fridge. He better have booze.

Requies heard something in the distance, but paid no heed to it, as this man in front of him was waiting for a response from him. He moved his hands up in front of himself, in a gesture that supported his questioning, "Why? What would you get out of battling with me?"
The ex-soldier did not mean disrespect to the man, as he only wanted to know what this man's purpose was. He was considering the offer, but Requies wanted to see why he wanted to fight with him. Kazama reminded him just 2 weeks ago of that, when he beat him nearly to death in what Requies thought was supposed to be a sparring match.
More noise came to Requies's ears from his left again. It sounded like something was in the forest near the school. He looked over to the side for a moment, scanning the area the best he could with his eyes. At the corner of his eyes, he saw something that, at first, he thought was just a monkey. However, turning his head a little, to get a better look at it, he came to realize that it wasn't a monkey... Not a monkey at all.
His eyes widened a little, as he muttered, "... Shit...!"
He recognized what he was looking at from textbooks he'd seen during his service in the military: A saiyan. Precisely, a saiyan female. Requies remembered the female saiyans, while not a strong as their male kind, were just as ferocious and they would have to be careful around such individuals. The fact that one arrived here, not that long after Requies finding out that space treaty with the earth and those two interstellar powers coming to end, wasn't much surprise. However, he didn't expect the saiyans to start making their way here first!
He held a hand up, charging a ki blast up. He growled at the saiyan woman, stating, "You... Out of the woods... NOW!"
Requies's energy would be rising up, getting closer to its full power without his desperate focus. If she had the ability to do so, she'd know how strong she is. His blue aura began to flare up a little around him, as he stared at the saiyan woman sternly.
(Pretty much, think of it as he's at 13000 range at first, but then shooting up to 17000 power level.)

(( Jaxine... Is your character mistaken, or am I missing something? Neither of us are Saiyans, lol. ))
Fudotatakai noticed a second power signature approaching from the nearby wooded area around the same time Requies landed in front of him. He knew that energy was coming closer, but felt no need to confront it at this time. While he would certainly enjoy a fight against the other fighter, Requies had his attention now. Fudo was an honorable man, and wasn't about to drop his request with Requies in order to pursue this newcomer. Now only that, but the other source of energy simply didn't feel threatening to him. While not by much, it was lower than his, of that he was certain. Even with his lack of energy-based attacks, he prided himself on his ability to detect and observe Ki. This new arrival didn't interest Fudo, but Requies would certainly seem to take notice in a moment.
In truth, it took Fudotatakai a short moment to answer his opponent's question, as he really didn't have an answer. Of course, there were several benefits to fighting other talented warriors: It was a great way to train, and it offered an enjoyable challenge. But really, Fudo never sat down to really list those reasons. Fighting was fulfilling to him, it didn't matter why. "... I live to fight. In fighting you, I will become stronger." he answered with his neutral, powerful tone, remaining perfectly still. He expected a response from the man before him, but instead saw the fighter lift up his hand and begin focusing energy in much the same way as the Demon himself had tried so many times to do. He almost envied Requies, being able to control his Ki in such a way that it didn't tire him out at all as it seemed. Still, when the man threatened to open fire upon the newcomer, Fudo only turned his head to see what might occur. Whether the energy source came out to greet them, or Requies simply blew the entity into oblivion, it didn't matter to Fudo.
Of course, Requies' rise in energy would not go unnoticed by Fudotatakai. He briefly glanced down to examine the blue aura that surrounded the man, finding the display of color to be... Useless, really. Fudo's own energy was raw and untamed, usually resulting in a transparent wave of force that closely surrounded him. He didn't know why Requies' Ki displayed a tone of blue, but he saw no strategic advantage in such a sight. Why was there color? Was it the way he powered up, or the way he was trained to focus his energy? Maybe Fudo's energy was a special case, and would one day glow in the same orange tone that was created when he physically manifested his Ki. Only time would tell if he would one day reach such a level of training...

Ah great. They seen her. She thought she was doing great at staying hidden... until she realized the tree she hid behind was actually just a sapling. Her red top wasn't hard to spot behind it. She mumbled a few curses to herself, and something about not getting food, and walked out towards the man.
He wasn't a Saiyan. He was one of those humans. There were a few among the bandits she hung out with back home, but she really didn't see them as much different than herself other than their energy being different and they didn't have tails and stomachs like a bottomless pit.
She looked at the man who had called her out. She shrugged. "What!? A girl can't go creeping around in the woods anymore?" she looked at the energy. "And put that away." she told him.
She looked at the other man. He had a weird energy she never felt before. "Is your friend always so jumpy?" she asked.

(sorry about the wait! I was trying to figure out how to reply! XD)
The man that wanted to fight Requies seemed to disregard this saiyan woman. Was it possible that the man was able to gauge her power and didn't consider her a threat? Requies dismissed the aura and his energy. The man's response was that he sought to become stronger by fighting him. That was a reason to fight, yes, but it seemed too straight forward. Requies told the man, "While that's a good answer, I have to ask. Why do you want to get stronger? For the sake of getting stronger or for some other reason?"
He looked at the woman, trying evaluate how strong she'd be. Back in the military, when he was learning about them, he read about how saiyans had technology that could gauge how strong a person is and could locate persons at any part of the globe by simply searching out the energy signatures. However, this saiyan before him had no scouter. Could it be that said device got destroyed, or could it be possible that they've developed the technology to the point where it could be imbued into their bodies or some other means?
Requies remembered another thing: Some people, who've trained long enough, are able to simply sense out the energy levels! He hadn't learned or achieved such a concept and probably wouldn't be able to for a while. He directed a question to the saiyan woman, his voice sounding harsh, "What brought you to this planet, saiyan?"

Fudotatakai gazed at the young woman who asked about his 'friend's' jumpiness. The tall demon just blinked and responded with a simple "He's not my friend.", not feeling like going any further. He really didn't even want to be talking with the girl, and he wished that she would go away. She was interfering with his upcoming battle with Requies, and she was beginning to get on his nerves. He briefly considered threatening her in order to make her go away, but Fudo wasn't one who particularly enjoyed pushing people around unless he wanted to fight them. Right now, he saw no point in starting a conflict with the girl. He wanted to fight the stronger (and more respectable, it seemed) man before him, not an annoying ape who didn't know when to shut up.
Fudo's eyebrows furrowed slightly when he heard Requies' next question. While he was perfectly fine with being patient while he was alone, his lack of social skills meant that dealing with other people was... Annoying, especially considering the probing nature of the man's questions. Again, Fudo didn't really know exactly how to answer, because for him, it really didn't matter why he wanted to get strong. It was all he was really good for, so that's what he did. "I become strong so that I may fight stronger opponents. That's all." he said in his usual deep tone, quite literally having nothing else to say. He could always go into more detail regarding his thirst for battle... But that would likely involve revealing some uncomfortably personal details about his past, and about the evil spirit that rested inside him, which he knew almost nothing about. If Requies had lived back where Fudo was from, the man would have probably heard of the Demon of Battle, but seeing as how Fudo only really fought against opponents from secluded towns, his reputation wasn't as well-known as one might think.
While waiting for the man's response to his reasoning (which would hopefully involve the start of his match), Fudotatakai crossed his arms and looked over at the 'Saiyan', his face now turning into something of a glare. All this talk... It was enough to irritate him a little, and the more time went on, the closer he was to just resorting to violence in order to initiate the battle. Attacking that Saiyan woman was looking like more of a viable option with each passing second...

She new all too well that the two were not friends. The question was purely stated to agitate the other guy. The Human seemed more interested in her than the other man, and Jaxine... she enjoyed this.
She put a hand on one hip and stood loosely, looking at the man with an amused smirk. "Well, I landed on your beautiful rock once I got bored of the last planet. Basically just mashed in some co-ordinates and let the pod do the rest." She explained. The numbers she punched in lead nowhere, so the computer's closest waypoint was Earth.
She turned and looked the quiet manover, he stood arms crossed with a glare. She just smiled defiantly back. She also took a moment to look the human over. He was the more attractive one, but had less to him. So it seemed. She wasn't a fan of long haired men.
She spoke to the Human once more. "You know, you're cute and all... but my money would still be on the quiet guy." she told him, before clearing the way for their battle. Soon she would be able to raid that fridge! and after a good meal... She'd beat the hell out of the winner.

Just a traveler that happened to land on the Earth... That was what Requies understood from her. Frankly, looking at the way the woman dressed, she seemed more of the type to 'seduce,' so to speak... Hungry looking too. He pointed behind him, towards the school. He told the woman, taking into account that her story was true, the explosion of her possible space ship resonating from before. Requies told her, making a guess, "Inside here, you'll find some other students of this martial arts school. I'm gonna guess you're hungry from travelling, so ask them for some food and something to drink. Also tell them I sent you to them. I'll continue business with you later on..."
He paused, looking toward his soon to be sparring partner, stating in a still serious, but more peaceful manner, "This man and I have business to attend to... I'm still curious to see why he wishes to simply become stronger and stronger."
He moved to the side, to let the saiyan woman pass by, not caring about her cute comment. Requies gestured his opponent into the school grounds, where they should have plenty of space to move around.
"Please come inside to the fighting grounds. This island has some very odd swings of temperature that I plan on investigating at some point later this evening... AH! I also forgot to ask. What is your name? I am Requies Artog, current student of the Crane School of Martial Arts."

Fudotatakai was... Surprised at the Saiyan's claim that her money would be on the 'big guy', which was presumably him, considering the fact that no one would really call him 'cute'. Apparently, the brown-haired martial artist was quick to offer food to travelers, and seemed rather hospitable. Still, those things didn't matter to Fudo. As always, all he wanted was a fight. Some food would only be a small bonus in his book, as he'd come to enjoy simply hunting down wild animals on his own and cooking them up. Being as fast and strong as he was definitely helped in that department, especially when you take his keen sensory abilities into account. Once the woman was sent inside, it seemed the martial-artist's attention was once again directed to a slightly irritable Fudotatakai, who was still waiting for his opponent's undivided attention. Really, any of his other fights would be over by now, though he expected this particular fight to last a good deal longer than his others.
Fudotatakai was slightly annoyed by the fact that Requies once again seemed to question his motives, something that should have already been disregarded. Still, the annoyance was offset by the fact that he was now being led into the building towards a courtyard-like sparring area. When Requies asked for Fudo's name, he blinked and looked down, taking a brief moment to answer. He didn't much care for such pleasantries as exchanging names, but he was a warrior, and saw the value in knowing what to call your opponent. "Fudotatakai." he answered bluntly, obviously having no intention of using his abandoned name from back when he was a teenager. The large man was a little curious about this Crane School, seeing as how their student seemed quite powerful. It was worth looking into just how beneficial it might be to adopt a training partner, but since he had absolutely no social skills, he just pushed that thought from his mind for the time being. He was too excited to think about petty subjects anyways, as he was about to get a real fight that would not soon be forgotten.

Fudotatakai... The name ad a lot of syllables to it. The name probably had some deep meaning to the man, but at the moment, it was just an identifying tool for the moment. Requies made his way in front of Fudo, after they entered the grounds. He made his way in front of Fudotatakai and led to him to the grounds. Requies wasn't really positive about leaving the woman with the other students, but then again, they were students of the Crane School too and should be able to handle themselves.
The two stopped at an open area where some of the students came to fight with each other. Currently, 2 of them had been fighting each other and trying to force the other to submit. Weak ki blasts were shot, to prevent the grounds from being destroyed completely. As one of them shot, he quickly moved in and shot another ki blast at the ground, kicking up the dirt and causing his opponent to lose sight of where the blast was. The energy collided into him and sent him on his back. He groaned in pain, but he got up to his feet and bowed to his opponent before getting out of the area.
Requies led Fudotatakai into the ring and began to stretch his arms a little. He turned to Fudo and stated, "Being that we're on the grounds right now and the walls are a bit fragile, we'll have to be careful about using any projectiles. However, I feel at though that won't be a problem."
Requies turned around and positioned himself into a fighting stance that seemed to focus on more upper body strength. He wanted to see what this man could do before he really started to fight. From what he could understand from the man's physique, he was probably heavily physical. He gestured his enemy to come at him, stating, "The guest has the first move."

Once inside the grounds, Fudotatakai looked around curiously, his attention soon settling upon the two other students who were facing off with each other. They seemed to know their stuff, but they still didn't match Fudo or Requies' strength. Still, they apparently knew how to fire those orbs of energy, something that Fudo himself was unable to do even after all this time. Even if they didn't hold a level of physical power that he possessed, it was obvious that they had received special training in manipulation of their own Ki. Not only did they utilize such energy effectively, but they did so with strategy and cunning the likes of which Fudo didn't personally care for. He was a brawler, not a tactician. Requies went on to explain that the two shouldn't be using very powerful projectile attacks, which obviously wouldn't be an issue for Fudo. When it came to the Demon of Battle, fancy balls of energy weren't something to watch out for. Rather, it was his fist crashing through walls, which often happened during his fights. "It won't be." he answered calmly, watching as the other man commenced with his stretching. Fudo stretched a little as well, but his preparations were much less noticeable. He simply rolled his shoulders a little and tilted his neck to get it warmed up. After all, he had just ran for several miles from his home, so it wasn't as if this was his first physical activity of the day. The tall half-demon watched as Requies entered his fighting stance, which seemed to emphasize in offensive and defensive use of the upper body, much like a boxer. Fudo could tell that this opponent was a balanced type, at least for the moment. It was wise to begin a battle with the intention of learning your foe's strengths and weaknesses... But in this case, Fudo considered it to be Requies' first mistake, especially when he gave Fudo the first move. The tall man entered a stance of his own, hunching over a little in order to effectively defend his lower torso, which was well within Requies' punching range. His left hand sunk down a little in order to cover his abdomen, while his right hand was pulled back slightly, allowing him to defend his upper body if needed, but suited more towards punching, as it was already drawn back. (( images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100718231340/streetfighter/images/4/44/Ken-hdstance.gif )) "Very well." Fudotatakai said, signs of a small grin soon becoming evident on his face. He took a deep breath to prepare himself, not wanting his excitement to get the best of him before starting. He tightened his fists, causing his knuckles to crack a few times, and tensed his muscles, warming them up for his opening attack. At this point, his energy would start to rise, creating a subtle, transparent aura that began at his feet and sent small rocks and bits of dirt away from him. He remained in this pre-battle state for about ten seconds before his attack suddenly began. Without any warning, he used his Close-In technique to dash towards Requies at an angle, his body's acceleration at extreme levels. The naked eye would barely be able to track his high speed, but Requies' training would allow him to at least see Fudo's movement. Once Fudo had covered about half the distance between him and Requies, he suddenly changed his direction slightly, zig-zagging his way towards his target in an attempt to find a blind spot. Once he was close enough, he threw a single, dynamic punch at his foe's lower torso, aiming straight for his solar plexus, which would do well in knocking the wind out of Requies if it was successful. The result of this attack would simply leave Requies with a heavy soreness in his abs, and with the incredible speed Fudo had used to Close-In, dodging the attack would be difficult. It was up to Requies to find a way to disperse the force from the punch, and if he was successful, he would find Fudo in the perfect position for a counter-attack. The Demon of Battle kept his left hand close to his own body in order to defend against an attack, but his post-punching posture ensured that completely avoiding a counter would be almost impossible. (( Sorry if the attack's description is a little vague, I'm a bit rusty when it comes to fighting. Let me know if you need clarification. ))
