The power-levels were coming from the middle of the plains, a small village no larger than twenty or so Namekians. Or Drexx should say, was, twenty or so Namekains. The android and the human would see the smoke and smell the burning flesh before they came upon the village. Drexx landed and scanned, the two power-levels were in the final hut.
Sadness overwhelmed the android as he walked through the village. It seemed that all of Namek was being killed, the very grass itself burned in swatches. Curiously a vast amount of water also existed on the ground in the village, pools and puddles here and there. The water clear, so clearly not from Namek as its water was green… Where did these things come from?
Drexx cautiously walked towards the last hut, smoke already beginning to pool from out of its windows. He charged forwards when he heard the screams, screams that one only makes when they’re being burned alive. He touched the door and it exploded off its hinges. He was still getting used to his new power. Two figures took a look at the android and ran through the wall, collapsing the building on top of him. Drexx activated his aura and the building materials flew off of him.
The figures stood looking at him, and he at them. One appeared too made of fire, its molten flesh wrapped with chains black and cool. Where it would have hands instead two red hot chains extended from chain wrapped stumps Drexx could only suppose were meant to be wrists. Its face was a blackened hunk of coal, its hair fire. When it opened its mouth the insides were lava.
The other was sleek and white, and appeared as if it had freshly been removed from water. It was tall and thin, not much more than a skeleton. Massive forearms jutted from thin spaghetti arms, finished off with three long glowing blue blade like fingers. Its head was long and sleek, its mouth a cluster of small blue tendrils. Its chest was not much more then plates on a thin spine that of which showed through.
It was clear they were the culprits of the massacre of the small village, perhaps they too were the culprits of the ancient city massacre. This would be their end. Drexx and Ark would be there end. Drexx looked over his shoulder towards the human. He knew Ark had a problem with fighting, but perhaps he would be more inclined to fight mass-murderers, committers of such atrocities… He nodded at Ark and turned back to face the monsters.
“Did you as well commit the massacre of Ancient City?” The answer mattered not. The android was going to stop them from killing anymore. But he was curious. If they were the cause then where had been the pools of water and the fiery footprints. The fire-one turned and shrugged towards the water one. They appeared to have no clue what Drexx was talking about.
“No matter. For the crimes you have committed against this village… and any other village, you’re going to pay.” The android surged forward and grabbed the fiery one around the throat. It was clearly surprised he could move as quickly as he did. Drexx too was a little surprised at the speeds he was now capable of moving at. The flesh burned off of the android’s skin, but he gritted his teeth and bared it.
“Are there more of you?!” He looked over to see the water one running away.
“Ark! Stop him!”

Ark took off after Drexx, leaving the ruins of Ancient City behind. Leaving that horrible scene behind. Sensing the signatures off in the distance the human was conflicted. Part of him wanted whatever it was to be those responsible for the destruction of the city so that Drexx and he might bring them to justice. Still part of him hoped it would be more of those determined to protect Namek. If the two signatures were on their side the result would be more allies, and a fight did not need to take place.
As they near the signatures his heart sinks as it appears to be the former. Smoke rose in the distance as the pair rockets through the air, the golden haired android taking the lead. Glancing to Drexx he found he admired the android for his determination, his conviction. Ark had always been dedicated to his training and his friends, but never had it been in situations like this. Letting out a small sigh he sets down in the small village with Drexx, the village looking like a miniatures version of Ancient City. The only difference was the fire and pools of water.
Hearing the scream as well Ark moves right along with Drexx, just about to enter the building when it collapses, two strange creatures bursting through its wall. One was the a living inferno, its body churning and bubbling like magma, flames leaping into the air from atop its skull. It was a bit on the smaller side, but one would be a fool to underestimate the intense heat that its magma could no doubt produce.
The other must have been responsible for the pools of water spread around the village, its un-proportionate body much taller than its counterpart. Although the fiery fiend looked nastier, Ark had no doubt the water based one was dangerous. Water was a powerful force in nature and not something to be trifled with.
The human was a little surprised when Drexx lunges forward, his speed hard for his eyes to follow. Something had defiantly changed in the android since their spar, Ark had been able to keep up with him before. Watching the android lift the little creature up into the air he wondered if they any answer might come from it, hoping Drexx would not be so hasty as to just crush its neck. The creature had no doubt taken lives of Namekians, but would they be any better if they just killed these creatures without at least trying to get an explanation?
At that moment the watery fiend makes a break for it, dashing to the side in an obvious attempt to make its escape. Knowing he could not let his friend down Ark burst into action. Using his Zanzoken the human suddenly appears in the creature’s path, turning to face it.
”At least speak with us so you might explain yourself. If not I will be required to use force to contain you.”
”You shall all perish on this planet pathetic creature, move or die…” The creatures voices was bubbly and mixed with gurgles, as if someone trying to speak underwater. It’s strange voice did not concern him for long though as it lifts a hand, pointing those dagger-like fingers at him. Without another word they launch at him, three jagged icicles flying towards his chest.

“L....L…L… Let go of me!” The creature struggled against the android’s grasp; the flesh had all but burned away from Drexx’s hand, but with his new found power came a new found tolerance for pain. He found that it bothered him very little that the flesh on his hand was now gone. It also intrigued him. What else could he handle?
The answer came quick enough, finding the struggled useless the creature brought his whip-chain of a hand up and smacked the android across the face with it. Drexx’s face was turned away, and when he looked back a jagged area of burnt and blackened flesh was peeled away to reveal the metal underneath. The creature’s fiery eyes grew wide with terror, as Drexx appeared to feel no pain from the attack. On the inside the android was screaming, but now was not the time.
“WHERE ARE THE OTHERS?!” Drexx said in a raised voice at the creature squirming in his grasp. He brought his free fist into its stomach, magma exploded out the back of it, as did Drexx’s now skinless fist up to his forearm. It let out a howl of pain.
“Aiyas… Aiyas village… That’s where our master is.” Aiyas village. So that’s where whomever was leading this band of troublemakers was? Something about this bothered Drexx though. Were these beings working with the grey-skinned beauty and the Saiyan? If they weren’t then why were multiple groups of people attacking Namek at the same time. As far as Drexx could tell there wasn’t a whole lot on Namek worth taking.
“Let me go… I told you where he was!” The monster said, its voice sounded like the bubbling of magma mixed with the crackle of fire. Drexx consented and dropped him, the creature landed flat on its back. Its hands went to its throat and magma refilled the hole in his stomach. It glared up at Drexx. Ark was contending with the water creature and it was clear he wasn’t going to have a choice but to fight it.
“Lead us to the village.” Drexx said commandingly. The creature’s eyes grew wide again and it started vehemently shaking its head.
“He’ll-- He’ll-- He’ll kill me!”
A glare told him that Drexx would do the same. He gulped, and a bulb of magma moved in his throat. The creature worked its coal black jaw back and forth, caught between a rock and a hard-place. Without a word the creature’s lash cut into Drexx’s clothing, ripping through his shirt and leaving a long red gash on his abdomen. It scampered backwards.
“I’m more afraid of him than I am of you. you’ll die like these Namekians.”
“Wrong choice.”

Faced with the creature that was now attacking him Ark did not hear the words of the fiery creature, not knowing there was more to their brood. Even if he had it would provide no real information to him beyond the fact that there were more of these creatures. As Drexx dealt with the fiend that could have been from the Earth’s core itself he was forced to deal with the other.
Its first attack was easy enough to dodge as he drops into a crouch, the icicles flying over his head to shatter on the ground some distance behind him. Rising to his feet Ark still held back, not making a move for the creature, instead trying to use his words once more. ”Stop this. Yield and we shall let you return to whatever world you came from.”
The human wasn’t even sure if Drexx would agree with such a thing, but he had to try. Perhaps it was naivety or because he truly did not believe more death was the solution to this situation, but Ark did not want to take this creatures life. All throughout history victors had written the books that told the “truth” about what had transpired, but wasn’t that simply because they had been in a position to do so? Would move violence ever bring an end to violence? With his arms hanging at his sides he made no attempt to attack the creature, hoping it might take up his offer and leave this planet and its people alone.
”There will be no peace until we have what we want…until she has what she wants.” Ark had no idea what or who the creature was talking about, but the message had been received. Just like before it come towards attacks him, intent on removing him so it may take its leave. Its hand raises up to launch more icicles at him, the fingers having regenerated themselves from seconds before.
Now it was apparent he could not just hang back and talk his way out of this Ark ducks again, rushing forwards this time towards the creature. Spiking up to his full power he lunges in at the creature, driving his fist in towards what would be the creature’s abdomen. Not sure if the thing could be winded he uses his Force Palm to try and knock what air it might have in its lungs.
His strike connects, but not with the desired effect. The impact of the blow would hit what Ark had thought was a solid surface, but it only ripples as if he had struck the surface of a resistant lake, some water splashing off to the side. The fiend was able to change the density of its body, able to form mist or ice at will, or anything in-between.
In close now Ark knew he was vulnerable to a counter attack, one he knew was coming. A powerful arm swings in for him, the tips of its claws glowing a faint blue that promised to do more than just cut. Even as the nasty looking claws come towards him the thought of ending this fight without a death was still in his mind. Perhaps he might be able to disable the creature without killing it or mortally wounding it. Forced into this fight he did not believe he could take this life yet…he was not sure if he could let Drexx down either.

The fiery hot chain tore through Drexx’s shirt like a hot knife through warm butter, tearing it from his back and chest leaving him shirtless. It seemed like he went through far too many shirts. The skin began to knit itself together on his arm and hand. His nanobots too had received an upgrade it seemed. The creature gaped in horror as the android regenerated.
“You come to Namek and murder innocents, why? For what? What is the meaning behind all this?” Drexx demanded some sort of answer. In his mind there was no explanation that could placate him. Justice would need to be dealt for the innocent that had been killed. For the blood that had been spilled all across the Namekian landscape.
“We follow his orders, he loves her so we go where she goes.” The creature answered even as he drew his whip-like hand back and snapped it forward at the android. Drexx’s hand snapped up and caught it. The monster’s jaw dropped.
“Who is he? Who is she?” Which of them were the leaders of the monsters he had seen thus far? Or even worse… where there two separate groups?
“He is Arthis. He is death incarnate. He is the Lich.”
Drexx cocked his head to look at, surprisingly, a samurai. His armor was teal, sleek and flowing like the wind. Two tall flags stuck out from behind his shoulders as if attached to his back, wind blowing them about wildly, though there was but a slight breeze. At the tip of each flagpole a glowing green gem flickered. Drexx found it hard to distinguish between armor and flesh. His power was much greater than even the other two combined, but still below Drexx’s. A large crescent spear was clutched in his hand, it’s pattern matching that of the Samurai’s armor.
“Ityis, Mogam, come along. Arthis summons you back.” The teal samurai turned without even a glance at Ark or Drexx. Clearly uninterested with who the two were. Drexx could hardly fault him, to the creature it must have looked like two relatively low powered fighters taking on Arthis’ underlings.
The android had had enough. Clearly there were multiple threats on Namek. That needed to stop, and needed to stop now. He raised his hands, cupped together. A large ball of ki known as Drexx’s wrecking ball attack formed between his hands, he kept pouring energy into it until it was the size of Mogam’s body. The magma creature’s eyes grew wide even as the attack blew him to pieces. Magma and charcoal chunks flew everywhere. The samurai turned to face Drexx, taking a step back and pointing his spear at the android.
“Take me to Arthis.” He would not ask again.

The claw swiped in at him, its vicious talons coming for his right shoulder. Ever quick on his feet Ark twists and ducks to the side, but he would not get completely out of its way. Ripping through the shoulder of his jacket and shirt he felt the claws drag three small lines through his skin. The scrapes of course were a minor injury, but the strange cool sensation that followed worried him. Where its claws struck his skin tingled, feeling as if it was going numb.
Putting more distance between the two of them the human rolls his shoulder a little, glad that the strange numb feeling was not spread. Glancing at the creatures hands Ark again notices the strange glow emanating from them, presumably the source of the effect.
Looking over at Drexx it seemed that the android was handling himself, the small red creature burning away some of his clothes and flesh, but not seeming to do any real damage. The fiends words would only confused Ark further, having no idea who these individuals, this “he” and “she” apparently the ones in charge of these two creatures.
“He is Arthis. He is death incarnate. He is the Lich.”
A new voice startles him as it answers Drexx’s question, a third fiend floating in the air a small distance from the four of them. This one seemed even more prepared for battle then the two they had already engaged. Dressed in armor and wielding a nasty looking spear there was no doubt he was a warrior in his own right, even if he had chosen to speak instead of attack.
The small distraction almost cost Ark his life. Hearing wet footsteps in front of him is the only thing that saves him from the icicle that had stabbed for his head. Unlike before the creatures fingers and fused together into one longer icicle. Snapping his head to the side he could feel the wind rush past his ear as the strike cuts through it.
Having avoided the attack he sees an opportunity, his left arm snapping up to grab a hold of the creatures arm. Holding the arm in place his other would rise to slam into the creature’s chest. The speed of his strike catches the creature off guard, the fiend not able to change the density of its body to absorb the blow. Still Ark was well aware it had a second arm, which was fast reaching in for his open side. Utilizing his Zenzoken the frozen digits hit nothing, his afterimage disappearing upon contact.
Ark was now behind the fiend, and with a slight shift in his position was slightly above it. Grabbing its left arm from behind as well as its shoulder he drives his knee into the things back, driving it down into the ground. A groan comes from Ithyis as the human’s weight slams down onto him, holding him to the ground with his arm stretched out to the side.
”Drexx I have this one under control.” Holding the creature down he would attempt to question this one as the android no doubt went after the third, especially since he had just blown the other to bits.
”Tell us where this Arthis is and you will not suffer the same fate as your friend.” Ark was not sure how true his words might be, but he knew he did not intend to take the fiends life. He was not so sure about Drexx though. The android had told him that he was a Perfect Protector, but the way he so easily dispatched the other creature clouded his view a little, wondering what steps his friend might take in order to protect others.

“No.” Was the samurai’s only response. He swiped his spear at Drexx and a tornado spun out of it, shocking the android. Did this creature control the wind? His outfit and ability seemed to indicate that he did. Drexx lunged to the side and avoided the small tornado but then the samurai was right in front of him, his spear swiping at the android’s throat.
Drexx ducked under it and punched the creature in the leg; right under his knee. The klang of metal on metal filled the air. The samurai flinched but didn’t fall. Drexx struck him again, bringing him to the knee that hadn’t been struck. A tornado slowly grew under the android’s feet and suddenly expanded, throwing him into the air.
He turned towards Ark and swept four tornados in his direction, trying to get him off of Ithyis. Drexx landed a blow across the helmet of the teal samurai, denting one of the wings attached to it. The spear came up and sliced the android across the chest, blowing him backwards with more force than the strike should have allowed. He smacked into one of the buildings in the village, cracking through the wall.
“Well that sucked…” He got up and brushed himself off, springing right back out the hole his body had created and rushing back into battle. He couldn’t leave Ark out there alone, not with these monsters. He wondered how the human would react to his killing of the magma creature. How could he explain? Protecting the innocent meant slaying the monsters, right? He had offered the creature a chance, but he had refused and justice had been dealt.
The samurai appeared to be leaving, he didn’t apparently care about Ithyis, or at least whom Drexx assumed was Ithyis. Ark seemed to be able to take the monster by himself… should he leave the human with the monster or should he stay and help. But if he let the samurai go… what would he do? Would he kill more?
He raised his gun at the samurai, but something blocked his finger. He couldn’t just shoot him in the back and kill him… not without a fight.
“Where is Arthis!?” Drexx yelled at the samurai, but he kept flying. Drexx closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. If the samurai killed anymore on his way back to Arthis… the blood would be on the protectors hands. But they had Ityis. Or at least the android thought they did.

Ark had the Ithyis creature pinned down, one arm firmly secured out to the side and the other pressed down into the ground. Holding him in place the human knew there was no way the creature would be able to strike back at him. How wrong he was.
Not having been looking down at the watery fiend Ark did not see what was happening before he felt it. Watching Drexx get launched back through the wall of a building he winces a little at the sound of the impact, but able to linger on the site long as four tornados started to take shape, all of them headed in his direction. If that wasn’t enough for him to deal with there was a strange twisting sensation in his hand that was grasping the fiends arm. Risking a glance down it was not hard to spot what the cause was. Eyes widening some he watches as the creature starts to spin itself around, its mostly liquid body reforming and twisting so that in a matter of seconds Ark was not pinning its back to the ground instead of it stomach.
With a host of tornados coming at him and an opponent that now had the capability to strike back he was not in a good position. Not sure if he was fast enough he lets go of the fiend and attempts to launch himself up and out of the way of said attacks and luckily he would receive from help, even if it wasn’t welcomed.
Lying on its back Ithyis keeps his arms spread wide as his chest swirls, the water within forming in a vortex before launching from his chest. The high pressured stream of water slams into Ark as he starts to jump, the force behind it propelling him higher up into the air. Normally being tossed into the air was no problem for someone who knew how to use their Ki to fly, but with the wind knocked from his lungs he found it hard to concentrate.
Tumbling through the air the blast was strong enough to take him right over the four tornados that had been zeroing on him, but the safety he had gained with such height only made the following impact hurt all the more. Slamming onto the ground Ark hits with enough force to bounce once before coming to rest on his back with a groan. No serious damage was done, but he needed a couple more seconds to catch his breath.
As for the fiend that had also been in the way of the tornados, his fate was much worse. As the quartet of wind funnels close in on him his body gets dragged into the middle of one. Once the first tornado that had started to pick him from the ground swings him around close enough to another the opposing forces did not treat his body gently. Caught between two separate funnels the creature gets ripped in half, his lower half tossed in one direction while his upper half the other, the later landing several yards from Ark in a heap.

The samurai soon flew out of sight; back to whomever this Arthis happened to be. Who was he? Why was he here? Why kill the innocent Namekians? The questions built and the answers seemed to be scarce. Who was the samurai? Who were these creatures?
The tornados the samurai sent at Ark seemed to rip the water like Ithyis in pieces, the lower and upper halves going in different directions. Magma and water covered the area once again but in a completely different way than the way it had before, the creatures finally dead. Drexx walked towards Ark when a strange thing began to happen. The magma in the area began to move, burning through the grass as it gathered together.
Magma pooled together and Mogam grew from the magma, a scowl on his face as he stared at the android. It was clear he wasn’t happy with what had occurred. He didn’t realize how strong the android was. He would learn. Mogam threw his arm back and with great force whipped his chain at Drexx and the android once again caught it.
“What does it take to kill you?” The android asked exasperatedly. This monster needed to die. All of the murderers did… Didn’t they? They had killed far too many. They had done far too much. He would end this and end this now. There was no other way. Drexx raised his gun, and the creature threw up his hands.
“Don’t… don’t. I cannot regenerate again.” He pleaded. Drexx slowly lowered his gun. He wasn’t going to shoot the creature, not in cold blood… he couldn’t. It went against his programing to kill a creature who was surrendering.
“Take me to Arthis. Now.” The creature nodded enthusiastically at the android’s request. Drexx lowered the gun, but kept the chain wrapped around his arm. It would serve as a nice leash, to keep the creature under control. He turned towards Ark.
“It appears we now have a way to find this Arthis. I can guarantee he’s going to be stronger than the samurai that I just fought. Are you going to come with me? I wouldn’t fault you if you say no.”
But before Ark could answer he was distracted with his own issues. Drexx hadn’t noticed it, but Ithyis had reformed, the water creature too had rebuilt himself, and was about to attack the human.

Ark had seen the creature ripped in two so he was in no rush to get back to his, trying to gather himself after the powerful blast to the chest. Laying on his back the humans looks up at the sky. Normally the sky of Namek was a peaceful sight, one that an individual might stare at for hours and simply get lost in. Sadly those times were no more, a black blanket had descended over the planet, darkening and tainting its skies. Letting out a long breath he sits up noting that Drexx was on his way over to him.
Of course the android was interrupted, the fiery fiend pulling itself back together and taking on its original form. Again it attacked Drexx, and again it was out match. Satisfied that his friend could handle the creature Ark did not rise to his feet yet. Unknown to him the other fiend was also pulling itself back together and much closer to him than the other.
Ithyis’ legs, which had landed several yards away from Ark, had melted down into a puddle and was now rolling across the ground towards its counterpart. Upon reaching the torso of the creature the water is re-absorbed, the legs once again starting to take shape. It was not an instant reformation, but one that the fiend could do multiple times if given the opportunity to heal. Sitting up now its tendril fill mouth lets out a watery groan, the noise loud enough to finally draw the humans attention.
Realizing that Ithyis had reformed only a couple of yards from him Ark gets to his feet, turning to face the resurrected threat. A sigh escaped his lips at the futility of all this. ”Your companion has surrendered, why not do the same?”
With clawed hands clenching into jagged fists its watery orbs narrow at him, apparently not sharing the same weak spine Mogam possessed. In response Ark lifts his arms up again, not doubting that they would soon be engaged in combat for a second round. Having assumed correctly he did not have to wait long for the fiends attack as a ball of water forms in Ithyis’s hand, imbued with Ki to give it shape. Cocking his arm back he then launches the orb at the human, but it did not remain liquid as it left his hand. The sphere hardens into ice as it is released; sharp edged and icicles erupting from it as it hurtles through the air.
At this close range Ark had no chance to dodge so he instead crosses his arms in front of his chest, bringing up his barrier. Barely having enough time to do so the barrier absorbs most of the impact from the attack, but not the after effect. Like before with the creature’s claw, Ark feels a numbing sensation starting at the point of impact and running down his arms. As a close combat fighter he could not afford for his arms to go numb, shaking them out.
Of course the fiend did not let up after the first orb, another forming that is again launched towards him, and this time aimed more for his stomach. Ark stumbles back a couple of steps at it drives into his abdomen, his barrier not able to absorb as much from the second attack, but it does prevent the sharp edges from piecing his skin. Feeling his core starting to tingle he needed to move, he didn’t want to take anymore of those attacks, he could not afford to.
When the next one begins to form in the claws of his opponent Ark rushes in, using his Zanzoken to close the gap between the two of them. Even more so he pushes the technique farther, using the added moment to drive his shoulder into the fiend’s chest. The force of the sudden impact disrupts the formation of the sphere in his hand as it knocks him from his feet, the watery creature tumbling backwards across the ground. Not pursuing Ark takes advantage of the small break to let shake out his arms more, slowly feeling the numbness fade.

The gun clicked as Drexx pulled the hammer back and pointed it at Ithyis. Mogam squirmed against the chain but no violent action occurred from the magma creature. He seemed resigned to his fate as towards leading the android and the human to Arthis. Ithyis looked over at Drexx and if the tendrils could smirk the android believed that’s what he was doing.
“If you do that, I’ll only regenerate.” The creature said smugly. Drexx shrugged.
“I’ll just shoot you again. And again. And again. And I’ll keep shooting you until you can’t regenerate any further.” The android stated it plainly, not a threat, merely a simple fact. It would happen. The creature had only one choice. It didn’t take it.
Icicles shot at Drexx from the creature’s long blade-like fingers. He made to hold up his shield but had completely forgotten the chain attached to his arm. A magma ball shot up and caught the icicles, and the android could only turn and stare at Mogam in wonderment. The creature shrugged and looked away sheepishly. Why had he protected the android? And from one of his own…
Drexx fired a shot at the water-creature, ripping its arm off at the shoulder. It quickly filled back in with water, its tendrils waggled at the android with mocking pride.
“Don’t make me do this!” The android yelled. More icicles were flung at the android. Drexx released the chain and threw up his shield without thinking. Mogam… stood there. Looking expectantly at the android like a lost puppy. He was confusing the android…
He shot the water-creature through the chest; it took a stumbling step back and fell into a pool of water. No doubt he would reform, but perhaps this time it would take longer. Mogam offered Drexx his chain once again. The android took it and wrapped it around his arm. The odd pair walked over to Ark.
“How you holding up.” He wondered if the human would ask about the odd pairing of him and Mogam, but the magma creature seemed happy with his new situation. It made Drexx wonder if he was just a simpleton following orders…
“Mogam here is going to lead us to Arthis.” Though the android wondered if just the two of them could fight Arthis, the samurai, and whatever else Arthis had on his side.

With feeling returning to his arms Ark was surprised as Drexx blasts the creature, once to remove its shoulder and again straight through the chest. Watching the creature dissolve into a puddle the human was glad the little skirmish was over, and he had not needed to take the creatures life. Pausing for a moment he wasn’t even sure how he might have killed the fiend, since it seemed it could pull itself back together at will.
As the pair approaches him lavender eyes come to rest on the little fiery monster, wondering why exactly it had switched sides so easily. Of course it had been blasted to bits initially, perhaps that had changed its mine on which side it should serve. Mogam also didn’t seem to mind being led by a “leash,” a small stupid grin on its face. ”I am glad you chose to yield Mogam, there is no reason for further violence here. If you do indeed help us no further harm will come to you at our hands, although sadly I cannot promise that from the Namekians after we turn you over.” Seeming to agree with this or thinking he has no other chance Mogam just nods.
”I am fine Drexx, perhaps several bruised ribs, but nothing I cannot handle.” Shaking his arms one more time he lifts into the air motioning for their new companion to lead the way. Nodding excitedly the fiend, not capable of flying, turns to run towards the East. Drexx himself had the choice of running along behind him, or sailing lazily though the air alongside Ark.
For several minutes they travel along, their guide setting the pace as they cross the hills of Namek. Ark himself wondered what they might actually be heading towards. The three fiends they had seen so far were not anything insignificant, and if they had a leader he could only assume that he was more powerful. On top of that did this Arthis have other fiends working for him? Caught up in his thoughts concerning the possibilities the human did not notice the mist in the air above them, a small pocket of water that had gradually caught up with them.
”Drexx, are we sure of what we are even getting ourselves into? Might it not be wise to get reinforcements bef….” His words get cut off as figure suddenly takes him right out of the air. Ithyis had been able to follow them, reconstructing himself and then forming into a cloud of mist. Having gotten into a position above the trio he then returned to his normal form, dropping right down onto Ark. The two hit the ground in a groan, both rolling separate ways after the impact.
Quick to recover the human hops to his feet, glaring at the creature. A water hiss is the fiend’s response as the two squares off for the third time. Despite his non-violent nature Ark found himself getting tired of this creatures continued aggressiveness. Three times now they had given him the chance to leave with his life, and all three times he had chosen to attack.
”Drexx go on ahead, I will take care of our persistent friend here. I shall catch up to you shortly, but please be cautious.” With a little more confidence than before, fueled by his growing frustrations, Ark charges Ithyis, pulling his fist back as he does. Ki started to channel down his arm, preparing to attempt his Force Palm on the creature once more, but with a twist.
Whether Drexx left or not Ark rushed the creature, determined to prove himself. He was not violent by nature, but had been thrust into this struggle for Namek. This fiend had not surrendered, and again had assaulted him. Its body had already been taken apart twice as Ark fought against it, but neither of those times had been by the human. If Ark was truly going to help those on Namek he needed to be able to handle himself, not be a weight his companions were forced to drag around.
Ithyis seemed a little caught off guard by the humans sudden aggressive charge, not able to bring his arms in to defend himself in time. Even so the blow did not land as Ark anticipated, the armor like consistency of the creatures chest melting away into a orb of liquid, the humans hand sinking wrist deep into it. Most beings did not hold up well when a foreign object had been driven into their chest, but Ithyis did not seem to mind, chuckled even. Before Ark is able to pull his hand free the fiends chest changes density again, forming back into a solid block of ice, trapping he hand with in.
"You are finished human." Despite the cocky statement Ark lets a grin form on his lips, confusing overtaking the confident smirk Ithyis had worn along with his statement. Ark's hand was indeed trapped, but that did not mean he could not channel Ki. Sure a conventional blast would not be able to form, but he never used such attacks. Instead the human channels Ki down his arm before discharging it straight from his palm, his Force Palm technique causing the creatures body to rip apart.
Chunks of ice blast in every direction as Ithyis was ripped apart, the rest of his body crumpling to the ground in separate pieces. Taking a step back Ark looks at what remains of the fiend, wondering if he would be able to come back yet again. Even if he did it would no doubt take more time, having to pull himself back together. Turning to Drexx he lets out a sigh, not pleased at all with what he had to do, but knowing they could not afford to dawdle any longer.
"Now we can move on Drexx, I will no longer hold back. I am tired of dragging you down and it is time I help those that call this planet home. If asked Ark would not have been able to explain where the surge of confidence came from, but it was somewhere deep within him. He did not fully understand the small fraction of his DNA that was Saiyan fueled his sudden assault, nor if he coud truly call on it again if needed.

Orenji had just synced with his Namekian brother Cargo, the new found power was coursing through him. He left Pulitu village, everything there seemed safe for the time being. On his way back to Ancient City he flew by a small Namekian village, the buildings were on fire. He quickly stopped in his tracks and flew down to the surface walking into the village. Looking around he saw the charred bodies of fellow Namekians scattered across the ground. Several of the buildings have burned to the ground, while others were on their way.
”What happened here? Did more people come and attack while we were busy in Yemall.”
Orenji continued to walk through the village looking over the destruction to the village. This village was lost, his failure to protect the people of his planet was getting to him. There had to be something he could do to save the rest of the Namekians. Seconds later He heard a familiar voice off in the distance, it sounded like Ark, the human Drexx had introduced him to before Yemall. He walked at a quickened pace through the village, eventually coming across Drexx, Ark and a fire creature.
”Drexx what has happened here!? Is that creature there responsible for all of this!?”
Orenji rushed up to the creature, and it backed away scared. Drexx quickly calmed Orenji down and began to explain everything that the two of them went through. Orenji looked over to Ark, then to the ground where ice shards were scattered around. He looked back at Drexx who began to tell him about another invade, one that looked like a samurai. Orenji was confused, but kept listening. Drexx explained to Orenji that Mogam, the fire creature was going to take them to their leader Arthis.
Looking at Mogam ”Well where is your leader? What village are they going to attack?”
Mogam looked at Drexx then back to Orenji ”Aiyas village....he is going to be at Aiyas village.”
Orenji’s eyes widened as the name of the village about to be attacked was spoken. His heart began to beat faster and faster. His hands clenched into fists, rage began to course through his body. Quickly Orenji calmed himself down, he needed to keep his head clear in order to save his own village.
”Why would they attack Aiyas Village? Mentor, Migan you better be safe, whoever this leader is, he is going to be driven back, forced off of Namek.”[/i]
Looking back at Mogam ”ARE YOU POSITIVE THAT IS WHERE YOUR LEADER IS! BECAUSE IF YOU ARE LYING TO ME RIGHT NOW I WILL END YOU!” Orenji screamed at Mogam
Mogam cowered when Orenji was yelling at him, cowering and nodding his head at the same time. What he told Orenji was true, this Arthis was going to attack Aiyas Village at any moment now. Orenji once again calmed himself down and looked at Drexx and Ark.
”I know where that village is, we need to leave now! Follow me!”
Orenji quickly shot off of the ground, kicking up dust as he flew through the plains to Aiyes village. Who knows if Arthis has already begun to attack the village, but Orenji had no time to waste. Migan, Ari, Bia, Mentor, and the rest of the villagers needed him there. These invaders were going to pay for attacking Orenji’s village. The one thing in the universe that he swore to protect with his life. He was going to make sure no one on his village died, even if that meant once again sacrificing himself to save it.

A power signature strange but at the same time familiar flashed on Drexx’s sensors. It was powerful, but nothing the android couldn’t handle, whatever or whomever it was. Drexx was surprised when a Namekian appeared from between the few buildings that were left. He seemed familiar but the android couldn’t place a finger on it. The signature was like a mix of Cargo and Orenji, but that wasn’t possible was it?
The Namekian called Drexx by name, asking if Mogam was responsible for what had happened. Was this Orenji? Or just one of the Namekians from Pulitu or Carnel’s castle? He was more powerful than any Namekian Drexx had met. How had he hidden himself… Perhaps he had a way of suppressing his ki.
He rushed towards the fire creature but Drexx stood in his way. Mogam was going to lead them to Arthis, and Drexx couldn’t allow the newcomer to kill him. There was too much at stake.
“Peace friend, this creature has already died for his sins. He’s leading us to the one responsible for all of this.”
Drexx began to tell the Namekian the tale of what had occurred. He felt like he could trust him for some odd reason he couldn’t place. There was an odd level of familiarity to the Namekian. He turned to Mogam with a stern look on his face. Drexx observed as the Namekian questioned the small flame creature about the village that they were attacking next.
Aiyas village. At the telling of the name the Namekian’s eyes shot wide open, a mixture of fear and shock. His hand curled into fists and the android thought he was about the strike the fire creature. The questions turned to shouts and Mogam cowered away, shielding himself behind Drexx.
“I know where the village is, we need to leave now! Follow me!”
The Namekian shot off, not waiting for a response. Drexx turned and shrugged at Ark.
“I guess we should follow him.”

Panting a little from his third fight with Ithyis Ark too sensed the approaching power signature. It was beyond his capabilities there was no doubt of that. Sighing some he only hoped that it was a friend, not another one of these fiends. Turning as it approached he was relieved to see a Namekian approaching them.
The newcomer looked familiar, but then again all Namekian’s looked loosely similar so Ark doesn’t think much of it. Sensing his power signature again there was also a bit of familiarity there, but that meant little. For all the human knew it could have been one of the many warriors that had gathered in the Ancient City before setting out to the surrounding villages.
It seemed that this newcomer meant no harm, at least to Drexx and Ark, but the same could not be said about the fiend. The creatures very presence seemed to anger the Namekian, and in several instances Ark believed Mogam was about to be blown to bits for a second time. The strike does not fall though, as this apparent ally reigns himself in. Like the one he had met in what was left of Ancient City he understood his frustration, their home would under siege.
When the fiery creature blurts out a name, Aiyas Village, Ark found himself at a loss. He had never heard of this particular village, perhaps it was one of the smaller communities that lied further away from the Ancient City. Even so it appeared that the Namekian had a connection to this village, his rising voice showing his anger.
”I know where that village is, we need to leave now! Follow me!”
It was a statement, not a request and without another word the native of planet Namek launches from the ground, rocketing off through the air. Even Drexx seemed a bit confused as to the sudden change in events, the android suggesting they follow simply based on an assumption that this one was truly on their side.
Ark wanted to ask if the android knew him, but so far Drexx had not show him anything but trust, the least he could do was trust him. Feeling again like he was getting into more then he might be able to handle Ark lifts from the ground, nodding his agreement to the android. When Drexx was ready he takes off alongside him, the two hot on the trail of the Namekian. Poor Mogam, not having the ability to fly had no choice, but to go along for the ride, dangling below the pair from the chain Drexx still had wrapped around his forearm.
