Chains rattled and the sound of dripping water drove Edana insane. She pulled hard onto the chains, but it was all useless. The chains restricted her energy, making her weak. Her eyes started to well up.

"I-I didn't mean it...They shouldn't have tried to take my flute." Her soft cries filled the cell.

She was to be confined here until she was absolved of her crimes. The two men, whom she'd almost killed, told on her like squealing children. A Kai more accustomed to imprisoning innocent girls, locked Edana away in the cell. She could hear whispers from guards who stood by in case anyone wanted to escape. Meaning her. How could she escape though? She wasn't even able to utilize her Ki.

Edana bit her bottom lip. Little crimson droplets rolled down her chin. Her lip quivered and the soft sounds of repetitive breath escaped her. She cried, but kept as quiet as she was able. Her ivory hair clung to her tear stained cheeks.

"I want to go home" she murmured, "I want to go home" she repeated. Edana slunk to the cold floor of her retched smelling cell. Her knees scraped, he lip bleeding and tears flowing like a waterfall, Edana looked more childish than she ever had before. She wiped at her puffy eyes; Smearing dirt against her cheeks.

"S-someone, help me..." she whispered.

The dank smell filled Kasai’s green nose like hot dogs in front of a fat man on the fourth of July. Even by his standards the Western Kaioshin felt that this prison was a bit much. The fact that it was in Heaven too made things even more concerning to those that did not know the way of the kaioshins. Not everything was nice and cheery over the last several hundred years there had been many defections and falls from grace when Dai Kensei took over as the leader. This prison initially set up to house demons that had found their way into the Heavens. However after the defections started happening and fighting occurred the prison was converted into a place to hold Kaioshins shortly before they were branded Makaioshins and thrown out of Heaven.

After his disgusting encounter with the Noran Saiyan, Ethar, Kasai needed something that was much more appealing to look at. Anything could have worked but he figured he would check to see what Kaioshins were being held prisoner. He would find out in a short time anyways because part of his duties as Western Kaioshin would be to occasionally sit in as judge on any trials that occurred. Kasai always wanted to pull his hair out whenever he did because he felt the old farts that regularly sat on the judicial panel. They always took too long to decide anything and often times did little to nothing to the accused unless it was a grave crime. If Kasai had his way they would never dream of committing that crime again.

Kasai walked through a group of guards that quickly parted after realizing who was approaching. Guards always did have a particular respect for him, being as how he was always the one that trained them to the standards they were at now. Or perhaps it was fear or even hatred that caused them to move. In any case they got out of his way and knew better than to push the short fused Kaioshin too much.

Then a curious sight fell before him a guard stood at attention by a large wooden door, which had been magically enchanted to only be opened from the outside. The guard while he was clearly awake he did not seem alert. This confused Kasai as only the most dangerous of criminals were tossed in those cells. What pissed Kasai off however was the distraction that floated in his hand; it was an orb that he was talking into. Those spells had been explicitly declared off limits while on duty.

“Guard! At attention!” Kasai’s voice boomed down the small hallway. The guard had not seen Kasai arrive and was completely taken off guard by the sudden loud noise. The orb jostled out of his and bounced to the ground as snapped to attention. The guard closed his eyes hoping that for some reason Kasai had not seen the globe. Kasai marched over to the guard. “Who is in this cell?”

“A prisoner sir,” The guard snapped back then instantly regretted it. Kasai was far from amused.

“I realize that smart ass. I meant as in name!” Kasai growled.

“I am not sure sir. They brought her hear not too long ago. All I know is that she is charged with attacking someone and then fleeing from the scene of the crime. She is a kaioshin my lord.” The guard said nervously hoping not to piss off the Western Kaioshin anymore than he had. Kasai looked past him at the door and then took a step back.

There was a tense moment before a loud crunch was heard. Kasai had made sure to drive home the message that guards were to maintain their professionalism whenever they were on duty. The guard took a loud gulp as Kasai took a step forward again. “Step aside I would like to see the prisoner.” The guard nearly tripped over himself as he did. The large door swung open as Kasai took a step inside.

Curled up in a ball in the corner of the room sat a female kaioshin. A very rare type of kaioshin. Her skin was a crisp white, ivory hair adorned her head, folded up wings clung to her back, and the soft sound of crying could be heard. Around either one of her ankles were anklets that attached to chains, designed to restrict energy that led into the ground. The girl was not going anywhere. Not noticing his arrival Kasai took the moment to quietly pull the door shut just in case this was a ploy. He could Blink out of there no problem but she on the other hand would not.

“Please…please stop crying…” Kasai said uncomfortably. Being caring was far from the kaioshin’s forte and it was painfully obvious as he made his way over to her.

Edana's eyes went wide. A power significantly larger than hers, approached her. She attempted to move back, but the chains restricted her from doing so.

"Wh-who're you?" were the only words that escaped her pale lips. Her eyes searched the room. She knew that someone had entered her cell when the door opened, but her eyes were blurred from the salty tears, so she was unable to identify who it was. Her hands felt around for an object, maybe to protect herself, she had not figured out what she would do yet, or what the stranger may do to her.

Edana's eyes focused and faintly she could make out a figure in the darkness. A man. A strong one at that. Edana looked away to avoid eye contact. She was afraid; it was apparent that she was, because of how she curled her legs close to her chest. Her pure hair hung to curtain her face. "I am shameful, a shameful creature...Not worthy of being called a Kaioshin..." her thoughts jumbled.

"Please...Please stop crying..." the man spoke. It was obvious that he felt awkward. It almost made Edana smile, to think that someone this powerful felt something like, awkwardness.

Her crimson eyes peered up, her stained cheeks slightly visible from the soft light coming through the small window in the door. Her wings folded out to there full length. She wanted the stranger to know, that she was only going to trust him, this one instance, unless he proved otherwise. Edana began to unfold herself. For some reason, she felt drawn to this person. Maybe because he was more powerful than her, or that she was purely afraid that she may make the wrong move.

Gathering her courage she spoke again, "I believe I asked a question. It's rude to not answer a lady, no?" she realized she had been smart with the man. Edana again bit her lip, which was sore. Droplets of blood coagulated against her chin and lips. She was a mess. "How embarassing..." she mumbled to herself. Despite all of this, her cheeks turned a soft pink, "I wish I wasn't so dirty...or crying.." she laughed lightly, "They should've at least let me have a bath, if they knew someone was coming to visit me..." Edana sniffled. She wiped at the new tears.

They did not last long, but Edana did not wish to cry in front of the man.

Kasai could not help but laugh a little bit but he was in unknown waters for his experience. Being a Cardinal Kaioshin he could have handled an army of demons, an evil tyrant, Dai Kensei’s wrath, Heiwa’s incessant kindness, and Jishin’s childishness. Put him in a room with a crying girl and he was completely helpless. The only way he knew how to deal with people was to break them down and resculpt them in a new image; he highly doubted that this would work in this situation.

"How embarassing... I wish I wasn't so dirty...or crying…”

Her eyes were blood shot but carried a sharp ring of red to the irises. Her unfolded angelic wings were something of a rarity as it was said that only one in ten thousand Kaioshins were born with them. Considering that only a handful of Kaioshins were born every few decades of so the odds of Kasai ever seeing one with wings was astronomical this early in his life. No doubt the girl would have caught him staring at her wings. The girl was covered in dirt, a couple of scuff marks on her pale perfect skin and small tears in her clothing. She tried to laugh off the fear and pain she was feeling but Kasai could see right through it. Seeing through a lie was something he was very adept at. She even bit down on her bottom lip, puncturing it causing small blood droplets to emerge and drip down her chin. At this site Kasai could not help but let a small frown appear on his face even though the girl tried to laugh it off with her next comment. Kasai was really wishing he was more of a people person.

"They should've at least let me have a bath, if they knew someone was coming to visit me..."

The girl choked back the tears that tried to run down her newly soft pink cheeks. That image warmed Kasai’s heart and made him more comfortable. He wasn’t sure why but the girl seemed to cool the always nagging presence of proving himself to everyone. His mind seemed clear for the moment as they locked eyes. The Western Kaioshin felt his cheeks begin to warm and after the moment that felt too long Kasai broke eye contact with an awkward movement. He spun on his heel putting his back to the girl as he ran his hand down his face.

What is with this girl? I can’t seem to get my thoughts together.

Kasai took a deep breath and turned back around to look at the chained Kaioshin. He filled his chest with air and puffed out in a manner in order to try and make himself appear manlier. He even folded his arms in front of his chest and widened his stance. This no doubt gave away the accurate perception that Kasai was more awkward in this situation than was originally let on.

“My name? Ha. I am the Cardinal Kaioshin that watches of the entire Western Quadrant of the Universe, I am Kasai Kage.” Kasai said with a sense of pride in his voice. The position was no doubt one his proudest accomplishments that he had ever done.

“Trust me, the guards wished that they had been given a warning that I was dropping by. Especially the one outside of the door he lost a crystal orb that he was not supposed to have had while on duty.” Kasai laughed in a manly tone, once again awkward for the moment. “So I have some questions for you. Who are you? And why…why is a girl as pretty as you…in here?” Kasai started off strong but as he approached the second question his mouth betrayed him and he ended up choking on his words.

The male turned his back to her. Edana wondered why this had happned, Maybe he is nervous?..." she thought. Her red hues stared blankly until he turned around to answer her.

My name? Ha. I am the Cardinal Kaioshin that watches the entire Western Quadrant of the Universe, I am Kasai Kage."He proudly responded.

"Kasai...Kage?" Edana's mouth curled to a smile, "I've heard of you. You are a great warrior." Her pearly whites showed some in the dark.

Edana shifted herself so that she now sat upon her legs. She carefully placed her hands upon her lap eagerly. Her wings shook some in excitement, "I've never met a Cardinal Kai before, especially one so well known..." underneath the dried tears that laid across her cheeks; a heat rose. Her head tilted to the left again her hair creating a white curtain, giving the appearance that it was silken like a gown.

The chains were tight around her wrists. The way she sat only made the chains all the more uncomfortable for her, but she tried to ignore the stinging pain that encompassed her wrists and ankles.

"Trust me, the guards wished that they had been given a warning that I was dropping by. Especially the one outside of the door he lost a crystal orb that he was not supposed to have had while on duty." Kasai laughed as manly as he could.

This made Edana giggle, "My my, slacking off were they? Did they look surprised when they saw you? I can only imagine their faces.." she shook her head. For some reason she looked up. She did not know why she did this. There was nothing on the ceiling. It was blank, dark, and dismal. It made her feel like she was trapped in a void, where there was nothing but her and Kasai the Cardinal Kaioshin.

So, I have some questions for you." this made Edana frown. Her attention came off of the ceiling and landed on Kasai, Who are you? And why...why is a girl such as pretty as you...in here?" She sensed an awkwardness in him. Did he like her?

Edana smirked, "I am Edana Mirajay, Kaioshin of the Eastern Province..." her crimson colored eyes looked to the floor, she sighed, "I am here for attempted murder of two male Kaioshins of the Western Province..." she had a tone of disappointment, "But they tried to take my flute!" Edana exclaimed, "They...they tried to take it from me...I-I just..." she sniffled. Edana again curled up and cried. Her wings folded over her head to hide her behind the downy feathers.

Kasai couldn’t help but let his pride swell a little bit as she stated to Kasai that he was well known. He had figured that he was known amongst any active fighters in Heaven. After all he was the patron Kaioshin for fighters. Kasai rubbed the back of his head with his right hand as he had a stupid grin on his face. However before he was able to truly enjoy the praise Edana began to cry again. The Western Kaioshin slowly lowered his arms from his head and placed them out in front of him.

"They...they tried to take it from me...I-I just..."she sniffled. Edana again curled up and cried.

Her wings folded up around her and covered her face. But it was clearly audible that she was once again crying. Kasai was once again thrown back into a situation that he did not know how to deal with. Emotions, especially female emotions were proving difficult to try and figure out. Kasai waited for a moment hoping that she would stop crying. Thanks to his luck though she did not Kasai took a step forward and attempted to comfort her. The Western Kaioshin looked around the wings hoping that he could see her head. To add to the awkwardness Kasai began to pat at her wings looking for the end of them in order to pull them apart.

“The edge of the wing has to be around here somewhere…” Kasai mumbled to himself. “Please stop crying…I don’t really know how to deal with it…” Kasai pleaded as he tried to figure out a way to open her wings back up. But after a few moments Kasai gave up and instead chose to sit next to her.

He dropped to the ground with a heavy sigh right next to her with his head against the wall. The Western Kaioshin tried to rack his mind trying to come up with another way of trying to make her stop crying. But he could not come up with anything and instead resigned himself to just waiting for her to stop crying. He let his hands drop to his sides at which point his right hand landed on the chains that bound the female Kaioshin to the wall. Kasai could handle himself of her power level with ease and with a snap of his fingers the chains disappeared.

“Hopefully that will stop your crying…just a little bit would be nice…” Kasai said under his breath as he rested his head on the wall and closed his eyes waiting for the crying to stop.

She felt the gentle hand pat her back, then move to her wings as if to find a way to pry them apart. Her wings shifted, but only to pull together tighter. Edana wiped at her eyes to dry her tears. She only wanted to leave this confined space. Kasai being there however, made her feel at least a little better. The hands lifted and she could hear the sound of gravel slipping beside her.

He must have sat next to me, Edana thought. Still sniffling, she lifted her wing just enough to peek between the feathers. He had sat next to her in fact. Edana's cheeks flushed. She quickly brought the wing back. For a moment, her cheeks turning a bright red shade, made her forget about her crying. She enjoyed the feeling of someone being there for her. At least she wasn't surrounded by people that she didn't know. It was just her and Kasai; for now at least.

The thud of his head against the wall made her smirk. Why did he do that? She giggled very slightly.

“Hopefully that will stop your crying…just a little bit would be nice…” A snap of fingers echoed through the cell. Edana could feel a weight lifted off of her wrists and ankles. Surprised her wings opened quickly. She lifted her hands. She actually could lift them! A smile spread across her face. Her hands were free. Edana peered happily at her feet and they were as well. Her eyes welled up again. Her eyes fell on Kasai. In her new found freedom of movement, Edana wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Thank you, thank you very much Kasai!" Edana giggled and stood up. She was not yet used to walking and fell to the ground with a thump. She laughed as she moved about her cell on her hands and knees, reveling in the fact that she could move at all.

"It feels wonderful just to move" Edana voiced as she wrapped her arms around herself; feeling the warmth of her own body against her skin, "Just wonderful..." Edana shivered with excitement.

Edana smiled sweetly at Kasai. She again tried to stand up. Holding her arms and wings out as a use of balance. Edana wobbled, nearly falling again, "Ah!" she cried out.

All the Western Kaioshin could see for a few moments was white feathers as Edana’s wings shot open to their fullest length. In the process they had actually ended up smacking him clear in the face causing him to choke down a couple of feathers. Kasai tried to bat away the wings in a futile effort as he was hit in the face several more times. He had taken on hordes of demons in the name of protecting Heaven and now sitting down in a prison cell with one little girl he was unable to stop her from beating him in the face with her wings. Before he could regain his vision he felt two arms wrap around his neck. In an immediate reaction, honed from years of fighting, Kasai went to strike the attacker only to catch himself at the last second. It was Edana. She had thrown her arms completely around his neck and now hung there with her head buried in his chest.

The act was actually the first that Kasai had ever received in his lifetime. The heat from her body began to thrust itself upon the Western Kaioshin as he admired her snow white hair. Before long he felt his cheeks start to burn at which Kasai turned his head up towards the ceiling. The moment seemed to last forever to the Cardinal before Edana broke the hug.

She tried to stand up but ended up just falling back to the ground with a laugh. She seemed more engaged in the fact that she was free from the restraints the guards had slapped on her. "Thank you, thank you very much Kasai! It feels wonderful just to move. Just wonderful...”

The female Kaioshin crawled over the dark, dank, dirty floor with a child like wonder that Kasai could only help but smile at. Even while acting like a complete child Kasai could not take his eyes off of her. The winged Kaioshin’s beauty seemed radiate off of her like the vision of an early morning sun rise. Her white hair and feathers caught the light in the fullest manner; her eyes were full of wonder and joy. It was just something about her that made Kasai completely forget about the entire outside world as if they were the only two in the universe. After balling herself up one more time while she enjoyed her own body heat she attempted to stand. This time she extended both her wings and her arms out to the sides in an effort to use them as counterbalances. It seemed to work only for a moment.

"Ah!" she cried out.

Kasai moved out of pure reflex and before his mind could even process what happened. Edana had lost her balance and begun to fall for the second time. This time Kasai snapped up onto his feet long enough to catch the falling female before spinning due to a lack of footing on gravel and falling onto his back. He hit the ground with a semi hard thud that caused his to let out a slight grunt and close his eyes.

When he opened them again he was staring up into Edana crimson eyes while her snow white hair cascaded across her face. She was only about a half inch away from where Kasai’s own face was. It was in that moment that he felt his heart start to skip a beat. His breathing became shallow, he felt his eyes go wide and then his cheeks begin to burn once again. He could feel every curve of her body pressed up against his own, the heat now been thrust upon him in a much more rapid fashion than he had experienced before, and her breath on his face. It was this moment that caused Kasai wish that it never would have ended.

It was too late for her to regain her balance, Edana was about to fall to the ground again. She braced herself for the hard impact. Her eyes shut tight. Someone grabbed hold of her and she landed not as she thought she would. She didn't feel herself hit the hard ground, instead she landed upon someone. Carefully she opened one eye, then the other. Nearly a half an inch away from her face was Kasai. Edana's red hues went wide. Edana figured this is when she felt that she was grabbed. Kasai had protected her from falling.

"O-oh my. I-I'm so sorry" Edana stumbled to find the words as she stared face to face with Kasai. She lay on top of him; her chest crushed to his. She was lifted every time he took in a breath. Edana's lower half was cradled gently between his legs. His arms were wrapped tight around her waist and hers his. Edana could feel her cheeks becoming hot again and she wasn't the only one who became hot. Through his clothes, Edana could feel him becoming hot to the touch. She eyed him. His cheeks were a deep crimson.

"K-Kasai, You're so warm...and your cheeks..."Edana couldn't help, but gently run a finger down the side of his face. The warmth of his face fascinated her, as well as excited her. Maybe, he was excited too?

His breathing was staggered. Is he nervous? Edana thought among herself. Her heart started racing as small scenarios played out through her head. She bit her bottom lip. Being sore from biting it so hard before, Edana winced. She placed her hands against his sides, feeling the tight muscles underneath. Her heart nearly leapt out of her chest.

Edana lifted herself up as she sat upon Kasai's stomach. A pale hand covered her mouth when she figured that Kasai was, indeed nervous about this situation. It made the corners of her lips curl to a smile, a smile that was hidden beneath the delicate hand covering it. She could feel herself getting hot from blushing so much.

"Kasai, You, I'm...I don't know what to say. Th-thankyou for catching me I-I mean..." Edana turned her head to to left looking away from him.

The next thing she felt was his hands exploring her curves. Quickly, her attention was back on him. I'm sure it's just from him catching me earlier she tried to reason with herself, Why would he be touching me like this?... Edana nearly passed out. She became light-headed. Trying to cull the obnoxious thoughts. Edana slipped off of Kasai and laid next to him. She casually ran her fingers through her ivory hair.

"Heh, that was close huh?" Edana chuckled, trying to make light of the awkward situation. MIP

Yarn. That’s what Jishin needed. He had run out of the magical yarn that always followed Kasai around after knitting a sweater for his plus-sized friend Heiwa. He had used tons of yarn on that. So…much…yarn…

The sexiest Kai in existence locked onto Kasai’s distinct power-signature and threw himself through time and space to the other Kai’s location. He found himself in the seldom-used dungeons. What in the world could Kasai be doing here? He found the yarn quickly enough, shaking outside the door to a cell like a scared little puppy. Jishin picked it up and held it until it stopped.

“What is it?” [/b] The Kai held up the ball of yarn to his earn and it spun him its tale (get it?) The sexiest Kai’s eyebrows shot up and he peered into the room where the yarn said Kasai had been… with a lady.

It was at this moment that Edana fell, landing on top of Kasai. Jishin instantly felt uncomfortable. Kasai getting busy was not something he ever wanted to see, and if romantic movies told Jishin anything it’s that that’s where this was heading. He made to break up the moment, but the young lady spoke first, telling Kasai how warm he was.

“Ewwwwwww” [/b] He whispered to the yarn, who nodded emphatically in agreement.

Then Kasai began molesting the young lady. Much as he had done with the tree. It was too much for the sexiest Kai. This atrocious behavior needed to be stopped. He burst into the room just as the young Kaioshin lady slipped off of Kasai.

“KASAI!!!! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!? YOU HAVE A CHILD!!!! WHAT WOULD YOUR TREE WIFE THINK?! THINK OF THE POOR STUMPS KASAI!!!! THE STUMPS!!!!!” [/b]

Jishin didn’t care who this harlot was, he wasn’t going to let her break up Kasai’s marriage to the tree. For Kais sake she didn’t even have leaves!

"And just who, are you?" Edana had been laying next to Kasai when the male walked in. He had been whispering to a ball of yarn which she found quite odd, but the weirder thing was that the yarn responded. This made her stand up. Surprisingly, she could actually stand.

"Did that, yarn ball, just talk to you?" she placed her hands on either side of her face, "What...the hell, am I seeing right now?" She paced back and forth. Her crimson eyes landed on the cat eared and tailed kaioshin. He was adorable she had to admit. Her wings tucked to her back.

Edana felt as if she had just lost a wet t-shirt contest, and that this man beat her. Uncomfortably, she cupped her chest and turned around pouting, "Aww, man..." she sniffled, "There's no way..I could beat those.."

She turned back around and looked down to Kasai, "Now what is this I hear about a tree wife and children?..." her cheeks turned a soft pink now. She played with her hair to distract herself from the awkward situation that she seemed to be thrust in.

"I mean, I just..." Edana lowered her head, her snow-like hair dangling. She twisted herself some. Edana was embarrassed. I mean, what if the tree wife found out. It'd be like an episode of Jerry Springer. Cups flying, trash-talking, fist fighting. She didn't want any of that, especially with how weak she was.

Edana Mirajay in the moments she lay atop of the Western Kaioshin’s body was the only person to be that close to Kasai with him willingly permitting it. It was pure ectasy as his mind was blank and unable to process anything. The only things that seemed to appear in his mind were the images that no Cardinal Kaioshin should think of regarding a lesser Kaioshin especially one that was a technical prisoner. She sat up on his stomach and in that moment her beauty was the only thing that filled his eyes. She ran a finger down his face which caused his face to burn ever brighter. She said something in that moment but it didn’t reach Kasai’s ears. Instead he felt his hands obtain a mind of their own as they began to explore every curve of her body. Then to the chagrin of the Western Kaioshin she slid off of his body and lay next to him. And that was the final moment of peace Kasai got to enjoy with Edana.

“KASAI!!!! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!? YOU HAVE A CHILD!!!! WHAT WOULD YOUR TREE WIFE THINK?! THINK OF THE POOR STUMPS KASAI!!!! THE STUMPS!!!!!”

The door to the cell burst open and in stomped Jishin with a ball of yarn in his hands that exuded some kind of magical aura. Kasai closed his eyes, cursed under his breath and then kipped up back up to his feet. Gone was the warm fuzzy feeling he had deep down in his stomach was gone instead it was replaced by one of pure frustration.

“Jishin, two things I really got to ask you…” Kasai started as calmly as he could as he walked over to Jishin. By now Edana had made her way over to the other side of the room and was covering herself with her wings. He let out a sigh. “First what are you even doing here?” The frustration was clearly evident in his voice with the appearance of the Southern Kaioshin.

“AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! A TREE WIFE AND A KID?!” Kasai yelled at the top of his lungs causing the ball of yarn to shake in Jishin’s arms. The ball of yarn was strange enough as it was but when it was paired up with Jishin that only meant that somehow Kasai was going to receive a headache from it. Kasai placed his hands on his head and then turned and walked over to Edana who was on the other side of the room.

“Just ignore that bafoon. He is here only to torture both of us. Trust me on that subject.” Kasai said as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

“Jishin, two things I really got to ask you…”Edana could clearly hear the restraint Kasai was using. She assumed he was using all of his might not to slap the man child. “First what are you even doing here? AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! A TREE WIFE AND A KID?!

She smirked, I should have known. A tree wife and children. What a ridiculous notion She again covered her smile with a delicate palm. Edana could hear footsteps now. They came closer and closer until they stopped just behind her.

“Just ignore that bafoon. He is here only to torture both of us. Trust me on that subject.” She could feel hands come down upon her shoulders. Edana's wings, shifted when she felt this.

"Oh" Edana turned her head just enough so that she could look at Kasai. The comforting feel of his hands against her shoulders, made her feel almost serene. She gently placed a hand upon his and smiled ever so slightly. She turned around now to look at the guest.

"So?...You're name is Jishin?...I" she was about to introduce herself when the guards came rushing in.

"Cardinal Kasai! We heard noises coming from outside and came to investigate!" simultaneously they spoke. Their discerning eyes landed on Edana. She shrunk behind Kasai.

"What is the prisoner doing out of her tatters?! She must be put back at once! A guard spoke out and pointed a sharp sword in Edana's direction. Something clinked against the guards leg.

Edana's crimson eyes went wide, "Th-that's my flute! Give it back you brute!" she peeked out from behind Kasai to get a better look. Indeed it was her flute. The golden bodice, and the white metal leaves that twirled around said body. Edana knew that flute anywhere. She nearly cried out. It was dirtied at the side of the guard. The metal looked worn and smudged.

Edana gritted her teeth,"How dare you treat my belongings with such carelessness! she was enraged. Edana always took good care of her things and now that she had seen her flute n such terrible condition; her delicate hands balled up into fists.

The yarn and Jishin looked from each other, to Edana, to her chest, back to Jishin and then to Jishin’s chest. The yarn muttered something in his ear and he nodded.

“You’re damn right mine are better! I didn’t win sexiest Kai in the universe for nothing!” [/b] He proceeded to flex his pectoral muscles while humming the theme song to George of the jungle. “I love you boys!” [/b] He said lovingly to his pectorals muscles.

He then turned to Kasai. If the angry-one wanted to feign ignorance in front of his lady-friend then Jishin would tell her the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help him Kai. Amen.

“I may be a baboon Kasai, but there is one thing I am not and that is an abandoner. You had a child with that tree! And…and….and you abandoned it in the forest! I’ve been raising him on my island as my child, and no you can’t have him back.” [/b]

He turned back towards the little harlot. How could she not know his name? She was clearly a Kaioshin, and he was the Cardinal Kaioshin of the southern quadrant. The best Kaioshin if you asked… well anyone.

“That’s right toots. Jishin, the grand, the splendid, the magnificent, the baboon, at your service.” [/b] He bowed slightly, sure she was a home-wrecker, but that was no reason for him to not be polite. Plus she had admired his chest, so she couldn’t be all bad.

Then the jerks busted in. Jishin had thought the prison long abandoned. If they wanted to keep prisoners they just sent them to HFIL, after all if they were worthy of being in prison in heaven then they were worthy of going to HFIL. Jishin laughed and picked the two up by the scruffs of their necks. The yarn floated into their faces, spouting such profanity even Jishin was embarrassed, though he doubt anyone else spoke yarn.

“You think you can presume to order cardinal kais around?!” [/b] Their faces bleached, the color draining rapidly from them and pooling around their feet. Still holding them in the air somehow, he reached down and plucked the flute from its place on the guard’s belt. It was a nice instrument, not really Jishin’s style as it had no pictures of him on it, but nice all the same. He lightly tossed it to Edana.

“Be careful with that one” [/b] The sexy kai said to Edana in a whisper and motioning towards Kasai, but loud enough for all to hear “I hear he has sap.” [/b]

With that he grabbed his yarn-ball buddy and then himself by the shoulder, throwing himself through time and space back to his home-planet. When he left the guards would fall to the ground, and Kasai could have his fun with them. Jishin had no desire to stick around with Kasai and his adulterous lover.

“Bafoon! Bafoon! I called you a bafoon! Not a kai damn baboon” Kasai yelled back as Jishin continued his absolute ridiculous rant. But before anything could actually occur between the two Kaioshin the door to the cell burst open and in charged the two head guards of the rarely used prison charged into the room. One had a slightly tarnished flute hanging from his waist and in his hand an ancient ceremonial spear in his hands.

"Th-that's my flute! Give it back you brute! How dare you treat my belongings with such carelessness!” Edana yelled in protest. There was general pain in her voice and before anything could be done on Kasai’s point Jishin decided to steal his thunder. Jishin picked both of the guard up by scruff of their necks and reprimanded them.

“You think you can presume to order cardinal kais around?!” Jishin spit their faces. Jishin was not nearly as good at this task of being a Cardinal as Kasai but he didn’t do half bad. Of course there was no way he would ever tell him that would inflate his ego too much. “Be careful with that one. I hear he has sap.” Jishin tossed the flute over to Edana and then with a quick throw of his shoulder disappeared.

It took a moment for Kasai to realize what was going on and then with a pissed off look on his face stormed over to the two guard Kaioshins. With a grab of the lapels of both guards were lifted off of the ground once again and then thrust against the wall. Their ceremonial weapons fell from their hands. At first Kasai was silent and then with a roll of his neck, which cracked several times, he began his own speech.

“I believe I told you to wait outside. Or did I speak some language that you did not understand?” Kasai waited for an answer but neither one of the guards were able to bring words to their mouths. “For once in my lifetime I am highly inclined to agree with my fellow Cardinal, Jishin. What right do you have ordering around the Cardinal Kaioshins?!” Kasai said raising the volume of his voice with each passing word. “I am the Cardinal over the entire Western Quadrant of the Universe! Do you believe that I can not handle one prisoner?!” Kasai yelled. He dropped the two guards and then with a death glare, “Get out of my sight.” The two of them scurried out of the room and Kasai slammed the door behind them.

He turned to Edana and the view presence of her made Kasai’s temper cool and his words to get caught in his throat. With a hard swallow he tried to bring the conversation back down he even opened his mouth to speak but couldn’t. After another awkward moment of nothingness Kasai finally spoke. “Sorry about that…” Kasai’s eyes glazed over the beautiful female and then his eyes fell on the flute. “Do you play?”
