After his bout with Kasai, a powerful Kai, Ethar was still very sore from having his body pulverized, as he wandered into what seemed to be a peaceful forested area. "Heres a good place to hide... I thought hell was all fire and brimestone, not amazing landscapes..." He said, as he came across a fallen tree that seemingly made a nice seat to sit on.

With a sigh, he did so as he looked above him. The forest he was in had a clearing that was actually quite nice. He seemed alone for the time being, as he took off his new sword, and laid it on the tree beside him. "If only I hadnt been so trusting of those two back on Namek. I should of known they would of killed me..." He added, as he rubbed his sore back a bit. His clothing was teared up from the fight, but it was nothing he couldnt mend on his own... If he had some thread and an needle.

"I hate being so weak... I cant seem to be able to protect anyone like this...."

"Then maybe you should've thought your actions through, it must've taken a lot of your trust for you to have that look of betrayel on your face.." Edana stepped out from behind a brush. She was dressed in traditional Kai clothing,"Do you even know where you are stranger?" she kind of ran her slender fingers through her pure white hair. She then leaned against a hickory tree. Her head cocked to the right awaiting his answer.

Her arms folded across her chest, "Heaven dear, you're in Heaven..." Edana kept her distance. She didn't know who this person was, but she was beside herself. Bored more like it. Edana had been training most of the day until she saw this one wandering around the forest like a lost dog. sweat droplets formed upon her forehead as she too looked up. The light was bright, making her wince when she stared directly at it, but when her eyes focused, the light was gorgeous.

"Whoa!" He said, as he jumped in place like he was sitting on a spring that quickly got set off, as he looked at where the new voice had come from. A beautiful winged Kai had surprised him, and a female Kai none the less. Had Kasai sent someone to check up on him? He had no idea.

He was tempted to go for his sword, but seeing her made him think twice. He could sense her energy was well above his own, and couple probably kick his ass easily if she wanted to. "I thought heaven was supposed to be pleasant? First thing to happen to me when I get here, is that I get beat up by some guy who thought I wanted to train with him." He said, as his heart rate slowed down slowly, as he sat back down as he kept an eye on the girl.

His body was slowly feeling better as the remaining bruises had healed up, and Ethar was back to his usual self. "Your not here to kick my ass to are ya?" He asked, a bit concerned why this girl had approached him. Even in his short life time, No girl had come to him on her own, so this was a first to him, and he wasnt sure how to react to her, but he certainly did not want his ass handed to him again by another one of these heavenly beings. Once was more then enough.

Edana gave him a quick glare. Her wings folded tightly to her back. She thought for a moment before she responded, "No. I'm not here to beat up on 'ya'' " she mocked his use of language, "I don't know exactly why you're here, but you must be dead if you are..." she shrugged nonchalantly. Edana looked to her right, her crimson orbs staring into the depths of the woodland. The wind shifted. She took in a deep breath of the fresh air.

"You can take you hand off of your sword you know?" Edana now turned her attention to the potential threat. She could feel his power. He was weaker than she, but not by much she figured. The corners of her mouth shifted. She now kind of smiled to reassure the dead man, "Heaven is a pleasant place...for the most part..." Edana again frowned. Rubbing her arms she again looked away from the stranger.

"You should probably find some shelter soon...I doubt you'll be able to survive the night..." she snickered wickedly. Only to tease the new comer though. She started to walk away to rest someplace else.

"Yes, Im dead, atleast, I thought I was. Last I checked, I was on Namek trying to protect the planet from a couple of crazy people." He said, as he picked his sword, and strapped it into his back. He watched the girl carefully still, but the fact that she said she wasnt here to beat him up was a good sign, as he let his guard down.

He saw her turn, and go to take shelter somewhere for the night, which he had no idea what it was, as he decided to follow her. It was nice to finally meet someone who lived in heaven that was actually nice for a change. "W-Wait up, May I please come with you? Im new here, and I have no idea where anything is." He said, as his cheeks were a red colour from embarrassment. He still felt out of place in Heaven, and he had a feeling he wouldnt get used to it for a heck of a while.

"By the way, My name is Ethar. Whats your name?"

"Edana, Edana Mirajay" she replied quietly. She ignored the fact that he was blatantly following her. Edana kept her arms folded across her average sized breasts. Some thing felt uncomfortable. She pulled out a silver flute the placed it back again in it's hiding place, but this time in a more comfortable position for Edana. She rolled her shoulders. Simultaneous popping noises came from her back, ""What are you following me for...Ethar?.." she let the last word linger as if she were not interested.

She stepped over a briar, her pale legs becoming scratched from the thorns. Edana continued to walk as if nothing had happened. The healing process soon set in and the wounds were scabbing over. Edana stopped for a moment to look around, "Now where is that damned thing.." she huffed childishly. Her lower lip jutted out. She sighed heavily then noticed something familiar, ""Oh there it is" Edana kind of smiled. In the distance was a modest cabin. Not too big and not too small.

Edana looked back to see if Ethar was still following her. He was. She grumbled as her wings loosened some, "Well I suppose you can stay with me for the night, but I'm taking you into the city when daylight breaks..." Edana stared at him seriously.

"Edana? Beautiful name... Can I ask you a question?" He asked, as he followed her to her cabin. He was very nervous since she was taking him home with her. He had no idea what she was, but by judging from her appearance, he could only wonder.

"Edana, Are you an Angel? I heard that Heaven was full of them, a-and they were very beautiful."he asked, still a bit red in the cheeks as he saw her cabin. It was quite cozy looking, though he realized that even that he was staying with a beautiful woman, he had to do the honorable thing. "I do apologize for being such burden. Ill sleep on the couch, and Ill be on my way in the morning." He said, as he had a pretty good feeling that he was imposing on her.

"I know its too sudden. Like we just met and all. Im usually not like this."

"I had hoped you would say that...I like to live on my own" Edana stared back at the blushing male. She kind of looked away coldly. Her wings shifted, "I am no angel, I am Kaioshin She flopped onto a couch as she approached the living room. She rested her arms across the length of the comfortable couch.

Edana then laid down exhausted, "You shall notbe resting on the couch...It is not hospitable...you can take the spare room, up the stairs, first door to the left...If you dare to step foot in my room...I while show you the same kindness as the men who killed you...Is that understood, Ethar?" She shot him such a look, that it would've frozen the depths of Hell over. Edana now looked away and closed her eyes to rest peacefully.

Ethar was confused as she told him what she was. "A Kaioshin? The heck is that?" He asked, having absolutly no clue as to what a Kaioshin actually was.

"Sorry, I just wasnt paying close attention in class I guess. Forgive my rudness." He replied as he looked up the stairs and smiled. She was a bit more hospitable then he initially thought she would be, but when she threatened him incase he went into her room, he gave her a sharp look.

"Hey! What kind of guy do you think I am? Thats just mean! besides.... I dont even know where your room is, and I wouldnt even know what I would be doing in your room." He added, as he started up the stairs, but his stomach let out one heck of a loud growl. "Ugh, sorry. Stupid stomach can be loud sometimes." He said as he took another step up the stairs towards the spare room. He couldnt remember the last time he ate, and his saiyan appetite was more a curse then a gift. One of which he loathed alot, especially when he wasnt at his home on Namek.

Then it came to him, a way that he could possibly thank her for her letting him stay here for the night. He stopped as he looked back to her, as he started to come down the stairs. "Hey um, As a thank you for letting me stay here, I was wondering... Can I make you dinner?"

"A Kaioshin is a god you nitwit..." Edana grumbled."You should know what a Kaioshin is. Didn't you battle one?" She sat up; Ivory hair clinging to her tired face. She used a slender, pale finger to move the strands away from her eyes so she could get a better look at Ether. She frowned at his response to his threat. "Twas just a precaution, unless the gentlemen would try anything..." her words mocked.

Edana stretched her wings folding in and out. The cricks and cracks in her wings made her wince for a moment. She picked herself up to walk to the kitchen, No need, I will make the food. After all you are my guest. It would be rude to leave your stomach growling..." Edana smiled showing the pearly whites of her teeth.

She crossed from the living room to the kitchen. Tossing bowls, pots and utensils upon the small counter. The ringing of metal, sounded throughout the cabin. "Damnit, where's that pot I need?!" Edana shouted. Her teeth gritted when she finally found it, "There you are, you dirty bugger..."

"Ya, I battled one. Though it just happpened like...with in 10 minutes of being in Heaven for the first time....But you both looked completely different from eachother. They certainly arent the gods I heard of.... Cause, ya know...Im from Nor, and we dont have Kaioshin in our culture." He said, as Edana called him a nitwit. It was the first time he had ever been called something like that. It didnt sound too bad as an insult, but it just made Ethar smile a bit.

When she said that she said she would be making the food. He somewhat followed her to the doorway f the kitchen as he stuck his head in and said "If you need any help.... Let me know, Id feel bad if you did all the work yourself." as he retreated from the kitchen to take a small self-guided tour of the immediate area of her home. It was quite cozy, and definitely a different type of decor that Ethar was used to. "You dont get alot of guys staying with you I take it?" He asked, as he thought about the way she had warned him about sneaking into her bedroom, so it might of been safe to assume she had that sort of problem before.

"No, no I don't" Edana kind of laughed. She turned the stove on. It was a simple gas stove. The flames licked the air before Edana placed the pot she chose over it. The pot held luke warm water. She now began to search for her ingredients,"But, I do know how they should act around a women..." her blood red eyes peeked back at Ether.

He had followed her to the kitchen after servicing himself a tour of the cabin, "Did you enjoy looking at my home? It's comfortable, you may do as you like" She now gave him a kind smile while she poured a mixture of spices into the water. She stirred and hummed. Cooking calmed her. She felt at ease.

"Heh, Not me. When you live on Namek for several years, you tend to not treat either gender differently then the other, so rest assured, you can sleep safely tonight." He replied, as he sat down on a chair near the kitchen, but not actually in the kitchen. He wanted her to have some space, as he started to smell some of the spices that she was using in her cooking.

"Mmm, Smells good. Only spices I had at my house were the ones I grew, and it wasnt that much. Someone like me usually worries more about quantity over quality, but it will be a nice change." He said, as another smell caught his senses, but it wasnt a pleasant smell and knew exactly what it was that made that scent. He got up and peered into the kitchen as he asked "Erm, I hope Im not being a bother, but is there a place that I may get cleaned up?"

"Yes you may. There is a bathroom to the right over there" Edana's index finger pointed to a corner. She now mixed in a rare commodity in her case, beef, "Namek? I've heard of such a place...there are no women there?" she peered back at him with a sly smile, "I never took you for a homosexual Ether, but I suppose it's alright" she snickered. Her fingers pinched up flour sprinkling it into the concoction.

"You like curry don't you?" she asked quietly. Rubbing the back of her head now, she thought of what else to put in the mixture. Her index tapped her bottom lip now. She stood like any women would when she wanted to be comfortable while she thought among st herself. She sighed, then a look crossed her face as if she'd just realized something important, "Bullion cubes, that's it!" She ran to a cabinet where she kept her spices.

Edana felt an uneasiness. She turned her attention to Ether, "Is something wrong?..."

"Nah, The Namekians dont really... have a gender. Which is good, it allowed me to focus on training more." He said, as he got up and started to round the corner when he heard Edana say that Ethar was a Homosexual, he looked behind him with a glare. "Oi, Im not. I like my women, I just respect them!" He said as he walked back to the kitchen. "And whats... Curry? Oh well, Im sure its good. Ill eat almost anything." He said, as he went to her bathroom and starting to look around for the cleansing powder.

"Where the cleansing powder?" He asked, as he couldnt find any where he was looking. Though, now that he was here, he was tempted to take a shower.
