A Strange Phenomena?! (Plot One)

A STRANGE PHENOMENA?!

With very little warning, four spikes of energy blast out from a point in deep space; within hours, each one strikes a planet - Earth, New Namek, Vegeta and Kold. Encased in the energy was a single, hollow rectangle made of some form of metal - later identified as katchin after several attempts to have it removed.

The energy impacts in each of the capital settlements on each world - Central City, Ancient Village, Saru and the Kingdom of Ica. Each causes a large crater and much panic on immediate arrival; although no-one is hurt.

The katchin rectangles stay inactive for a couple of hours - however, scientists detect a strong radio signal from the same direction it impacted in. The rectangles 'activate', each forming a strange, inky substance, like a red barrier - almost.

This inevitably caused more panic from the general populace - however, within moments of the substance forming, something even stranger occurs - an individual steps out of each. All of them look different - a being matched to the planet they were on.

"Ladies and gentlemen - you are invited to join or watch an intergalactic martial arts tournament, the first of its kind. If you wish to participate than please enter through the doorway. You will appear at the Arena - a massive facility hosting the tournament. Spectators, transport will be arranged closer to the time. Thank you."

And then the individual retreats through the doorway, leaving whole worlds bewildered.

RESTRICTIONS: For sake of plot, Icerss may not use their transformations should they enter - if you have any problems with this, PM me.

Only one character allowed to enter per person - however, your other characters may choose to spectate if desired.

Entrants may not make any new threads out of the Arena until they have been beaten (or eventually, won). They may, however, finish off previously started threads. Spectators are free to make threads out of the arena.

No absorption or killing allowed.

So if I enter now, is it still okay if I finish up a couple of training threads before this starts? I wanna get the Scavenger Tournament thing I've been doing finished up, and do a training to get a new technique since I have the right power level for it.

Also, would it be possible to just have heard about this tournament while passing by like a storefront and seeing it on the tvs?

You're allowed to finish up training threads until the 3rd/4th when you'll be allowed into the Arena and yeah, it has world-wide news coverage.

Actually nam, you have a higher PL than antary. As well, your pretty close to Zach and Diane-you will also get interesting gains from this if you enter.
