It was a hot, humid day as the rays of the sun burst forth from the sky and shined down on the thick canopies of Amazonica's lush rain forests. The sounds of thousands of birds erupted in this highly vibrant environment as rustling winds caused the leaves of the trees to blow. Water dripped down from the air as well, constantly helping provide a soft, mellow yet constant rhythm to the thriving zone. Life was clearly existent in this part of the world or universe, but one would not think under these circumstances humanoid life could or would rather like to exist in such an environment. However, the blissful scene was interrupted by those exact creatures, a small group of humanoids, known as Florians out for a hunt. In the group, there were five people in total three men and two females. The men were about seven feet tall, heavily muscled, and wore what most traditional Florians would wear, leopard skin pelts. They were not really people that stood out since they all had a close variations in their genetic codes of brown hair and green eyes. What made them humanoids and not humans were the spikes that grew of of their arms that were three inches long. Their arms were like small barrels, exactly a foot around, and if one looked at them would be reminded of cactus plants since these Florians had cactus like features. If you looked at their hands one could see red tattoos shaped like leaves on their palms. They had spears made from fallen wooden branches tipped with a sharp stone edge tied down by a fine twine. The two females traveling with them were much shorter in height, only reaching up to six feet three inches at their tallest and weighing no more than one hundred eight pounds. For human standards, that was probably far above excellent in terms of health and physical fitness. The first of the two women had a fine hope of vines that billowed out from her wait and touched all the way to the ground. She was quite slender and wore a a vest made from coconut shells on the upper half of her body. Her hair was quite short, and blue in color and really stood out in the forest around her. She had grey eyes and a strange tattoo on her stomach in the shape of a snake. She also carried a long bow on her back with poisoned arrows made from long river reeds and goose feathers. Although these people were important, and necessary through this strange trip into the jungle. They were not as important as the person traveling with them. The so-called queen of their alien group, Maruca Senda.

Maruca was important, not only because she was their queen though, but because she was the most powerful hunter there, had a year's full worth of experience taking jungle rhinos down by herself, and had organized the group solely for this purpose. She carried no weapons on her person was a good six feet three inches tall, had tanned skin from living on Amazonica so long, light brown wrapped into a pony, and sky blue eyes. Today, unlike the typical silk or cotton robes and jewelry she wore she had on a simple leather vest and pants. Her body was barren of any markings or scars except for a few tattoos on her arms and cheeks.
She prided herself in being Florian, so today she had a few ferns growing out of the top of her head to camouflage herself and blend in with the jungle. Her eyes scanned the brightly lit paths ahead of her, but all she could see was the back of her female comrade. She had set up the group so two of the male Florians would be in the front and one of the males would act as a rear guard. The women one the cent with her was to actually be the one to help her primarily with the hunting. That was why she had a bow.
She looked at the women and asked her, "I hope I picked you wisely. You do know how to use a bow and your ki correct?"
"Of course milady," she said as she smiled at Maruca. Ever since the Saiyans had come a lot of Florian customs had started to mix with outside alien cultures, even more so then before when they had been living as a sort of backwater people who got attacked by space pirates on a monthly basis.
"These rhinos we are hunting are well over two tons, have three sharp horns and four big toe nails on their feet. They will crush and stab you to death if angered." Maruca warned the girl and the rest of the group.
"We know milady..." the two guards up front growled. They respected the queen, but her methods on hunting these rhinos was slow and not in the traditional fashion. "We can handle them quite easily we feel, even without you three here."
Maruca just shook her head back and forth and sighed, "I managed to bag about a rhino or two every week I was here for one entire year. I will tell you this and only this one time. You cannot kill them as easily as you would expect. I had to live off rhinos the entire time I was here you know and I apologize for doing that to such a nice and sacred animal, but the dangers they possess to all of you in your currents stats are not odds in your favor. I doubt any of you are over the 12,000 power level mark."
The guy in the rear grit his teeth. Ever since the Saiyans had come they had subjected them to constant scanner readings to see how strong they all were as a group. Maruca was not trying to bring this point up as a mark of rudeness. He knew that, but he figured she was bringing this up more likely that Saiyans, who could also hunt and did also hunt the rhinos on their planet's surface. They were bagging four or five per day if they wanted to normally.
Maruca from this point on had decided, if this next hunt was success she would put up a law against rhino hunting. Since Amazonican Rhinos were important to the jungle. Their poop attracted birds which used the refined seeds and planet matter the rhinos ate to feed their young. To some it would have seemed to disgusting, but it was part of the planet ecology. And it was the only some of the birds on the planet still managed to survive as long as they did. The planting of trees, another regular ritual of the Florians, was something that could only provide for a specific number of birds for a few short months during the changes between the wet and dry seasons of the planet.

The group continued walking though in hopes of finding rhinos, but were quite unlucky in this regard. Maruca sent the female Florian with her up ahead in this case to see if there any in site. The female Florian came back thirty minutes later and said, "There is one up ahead about 200 yards away. We are going to need to lead it here if we want to make this whole trip easy." Maruca nodded and told everyone to stand back behind her, which they did. She also sent one of the male Florians off to watch the rhino. Then she proceeded to blast a fifty foot hole in the ground right in front of herself. The explosion was pretty big and shook the ground slightly as groups of scared birds took off in flight. "I may have over done this. She noted before proceeding to walk over to a tree and hug it. The group was a little baffled but they sort of understood what might be coming next. They were going to need to make a trap and to make a good trap they had to use the most available resource, wood. Maruca looked at the group for a moment with her sky blue eyes before proceeding to use her strength to pull off tree limbs. When they hit the ground, the group moved over to her and began helping her drag and then tie the wooden branches together with vines drooping from the trees. It was long, hard work, but after an hour they had made a trap, an ambush hole of sorts, and covered it with thick leaves. Down the forest, a little ways they heard the male Florian shout and the thunder of heavy feet. "The rhino's coming!" Maruca cried as she sent and used her bukujutsu to float up into the nearest tree. The others climbed up after her as well. She sat there and waited as the rhino came through their thicket. When it was in range Maruca used a few small ki blasts to direct its moving charge. The other Florians used their arrows and spears to help. Energy techniques were something still mostly unpracticed on the planet and the three Florians with her were not confident in their own abilities. Soon enough, the Florian male who had been the one to keep an eye on the rhino came up behind it and poked it in the butt with his spear. This was the final straw for the rhino, who out of confusion and pain did not watch where it was going and fell into the ambush hole. The rhino was trapped as it fell into the dark pit and died on impacting with the deep hole's bottom. Maruca climbed down from her tree with the others and wandered over to the hole. "It's dead," she pronounced, seeing no twitching coming from the rhino in the deep hole. The Florians with her nodded and gathered more vines to help try and haul it up, but Maruca simply said, "I will get it." She flew down to the body of the hole and used all of the strength she could muster to slowly drag it up. This process took another forty five minutes, but by the end of it they were cutting up and enjoying rhino meat, some of which they would sell back to the Saiyans when they got back to their new home in Radits City. (I would like Zeni please.) New Technique Ambush Hole- The user of this technique carves out a large circular hole in the ground and then proceeds to cover it with leaves. When a person passes over it, they will most certainly fall into it if they do not realize it is there. The current range of this technique is 50 ft.
