(Continuing from character profile history for Requies. Enjoy the read!)
Requies had given his answer. He would help his fellow trainees and Relic to chase down their target, code named Red Wolf. He had not a clue on what exactly the wolf was capable of, but Relic, their big and burly teacher did. Relic and the trainees were all prepared to go to the target's location, carrying light supplies and gear. From the looks of things, they had bee headed to a location that was relatively warm.
He quickly went into the bunker and collected the same gear, which had been waiting near the ladder headed back up the surface. He went through the bag, to see what exactly they were going to be working with. Requies muttered in a low whisper, "Ok... We've got two days worth of rations, a sleeping mat, two sets of clothes, and- Are those what I think they are?"
Requies pulled out what looked like a 9 mm handgun. He released the clip, to check what type of ammo they were using. The bullets looked like really small darts, with what appeared to be a leaf green liquid inside them. Were they trying to only capture this guy again? Had they not gotten anything out of the target the first time they captured him? He slammed the clip back into the gun and put the gun in the bag.
He quickly climbed the ladder back to the surface and made his way to the group. Grell, Lassandra, Johan, Cassidy, and Yusa all had serious and excited expressions on their faces. Requies wasn't sure they knew what they'd be dealing with. Relic nodded on Requies's arrival and lifted up his wrist. He fiddled with a large band a little and brought up a map of the world.
" Alright. It's time I give you all information on the target's whereabouts," Relic began to explain. He marked off a location on the opposite side of the desert, as he said, "The target has been located in this general area of the desert. It was reported that, before the target escaped, that it mentioned going to the Central Capitol. Exactly where, though, it didn't say before breaking out of its bonds and leaving a blood bath of bodies in its wake. Unfortunately, Galvin was not on the premises, nor any of the other three Hell Squad Helmsman to keep it contained and on base. Your families, before you begin to worry, are alright..."
Grell laughed a little, as he asked, "So, you're saying the target's strong, Relic? Good! I'm tired of holding back!"
"Oh please... We all know you were fighting at your best when you were sparring me, Grell," Yusa retorted, her expression remaining serious.
"Quiet! I am not done briefing you for your mission," Relic barked, "This is not a simple thing you can underestimate. My superior had personally come out to fight this target... His son knows how powerful the Red Wolf is. The Demon King is expecting a lot out of you all, leaving you to fight this target instead."
Everyone remained facing forward, though they did wish to turn and ask Requies about the target and how it was seeing it in person. Requies, even though he had gotten strong, couldn't help but feel the color in his face wash away. He was going to fight against something that made him a rag doll without even engaging him personally! The thought of actually going up against the Red Wolf was mad!
"As I was saying... The target broke out of a high security area from North City... For reasons we do not yet or may never understand, it decided to head south first, rather than head directly to the Central Capitol. What we can assume is that it is trying to lose it's pursuers, but it won't expect us to be coming from Satan City. We'll fly over the desert using cars, so we do not give it much of a hint to our presence, or our combat strength. The target is highly mobile and is trained to use ki, just as we have been able and more so. The Red Wolf will, no doubt, rest up at this location, so we will need to move fast and strike hard. I'm going to send you all this map, so we do not get lost."
Relic marked out the path they would be taking from Satan City to the location and swiped his hand towards the youngsters. Beeping came from in their bags. Requies didn't notice that they had a wrist band when he first checked the bag, which made him wonder what else was in the bag. They quickly got their armbands out of the bag and strapped them on. Relic then stated, "While you're in there, take out your capsule packs and pull number 6. These are small, but highly mobile air bikes that will, without a doubt, get you each to the location without anything able to impede your path. We have no more time to waste, so lets get going."
Everyone tossed out capsule number 6 and hopped on the vehicles. They revved the motors, finding out they used silent engine systems, but packed a lot of kick. Lassandra and Johan nearly fell off, not expecting it. Cassidy laughed, while Yusa and Grell simply made their way up ahead. Requies helped the two up to their feet and quickly got back on his bike before speeding up to catch up to Relic and the others.

(Here we go! Part 2: Through the desert!)
The sound of jets speeding through the air rung in Requies's ears, as their vehicles carried them at relatively high speeds across the open desert. The sun was setting when they left, so thankfully, it hadn't been burning hot out. He was transfixed on the thought that he would be fighting the Red Wolf, rather than standing as a bystander. It was throwing him off a lot, the chance of dying against this person... Did the Red Wolf even qualify as a person? From the report, it sounded more like that he was a demon in disguise.
Requies hadn't realized it, but he was drifting a little too much to the side, to the point he was about to crash into Johan. Johan shouted out, "Requies, snap out of it, you dimwit!"
Requies immediately snapped out of his trance, moving away from Johan. He exclaimed, "Sorry! My head's a bit in the clouds at the moment..."
"Well, it sure seems like it! What's the matter, Req," Johan asked, moving closer so they wouldn't have to shout so loud. Requies looked downwards at the ground, not sure what to tell his best friend. Should he tell him that the guy they were about to face was a monster? That the Wolf was capable of sending even Relic off his feet to one hundred feet without even touching him?
Johan smacked him over the head, shouting out, "Come on, out with it! What's got you so gloomy? Is it what Relic said happened back at home?"
Requies rubbed his head, as he looked at him, agreeing with his statement. Johan then retorted, "I see... You were there, right? When you guys first caught this guy? What're we looking at here?"
"How can I put it into words," Requies uttered, trying to think of how to describe the Red Wolf, "You remember that one time where we pissed off Relic for going off and drinking a couple years back?"
"Oh shit, yeah! He was pissed, but not to the extreme. It turned out to be more of an exercise to gauge someone or something by sensing their energy, right?"
Requies nodded, as he looked forward at the giant, dark toned man. He explained, "If I had to guess, at the time, Relic was only showing about, I wanna say, sixty percent at the time. The Red Wolf, though I couldn't sense someone's ki at the time, may roughly be at 70% of his strength when at fifty percent... At least, I think that's what Relic told me about a year after first coming to the bunker house when he first started teaching us to sense ki."
Johan responded a simple, "Hoo, boy... That's strong..."
Requies looked to Johan, seeing his expression not change from inquisitive. He snapped his fingers, as he pointed towards Requies, who rose an eye brow and asked, "What?"
"This Red Wolf guy's been in prison for a while, right," Johan asked, with a grin on his face.
"Right... What does that have to do with anything," Requies replied, curious to where this was going.
"Well, if he's been in lock down this whole time, he should be a lot weaker than before, right? Not to mention, Relic's been training with us this whole time! In other words, this should be an easy job!"
"I don't think it's that simple, Johan..." Requies paused, giving the thought a whirl as he looked at Relic. Could it be possible to accomplish this mission without a problem? From what he could tell of the target, the target was a fast power house that could easily be taken down by Galvin. Requies looked back to Johan, telling him, "Maybe it could be though. Let's ask Relic what he thinks."
Johan agreed and sped up with Requies to catch up to Relic. Grell and Yusa had been next to Relic, while Lassandra and Cassidy were back and to the side. Requies noticed that Grell and Yusa were talking with Relic about something, a bit of a distraught expression on Yusa's face while the ever serious one lingered on Grell's face. The two didn't like that look of their expressions, so they put their thought to the side and proceeded to ask what was happening.
"I don't like that look on your faces... What's going on guys?"
"Yeah, what's up? This should be a quick mission, right?"
Relic kept his eyes forward, while Yusa looked over at the two and shook her head. The dark soldier explained, "Normally, that would be the case with a normal human, but from there was another detail in the reports I forgot to mention... What do you kids know of saiyans?"
"Nothing... What's this saiyan you're talking about," Requies asked loudly. Yusa was about to speak, but Relic spoke over her.
"Saiyans are a species of humanoids that appear to mostly be human, aside from a few factors: One, due to the nature of their planet, average saiyans are naturally much stronger than the average humans. Specifically, ten times as strong. Two, their biology allows them to survive wounds that would normally kill someone and become stronger from that. Three, and possibly the most important factor, they can transform into monsters at night."
"What, you mean like a werewolf? If that's the big problem, then I don't see what the problem is," Johan stated naively.
Relic glared at him, rhetorically asking, "Does a thirty meter tall monkey-like gorilla that can fire rail gun-level ki blasts from its mouth sound easy to you? Not to mention, it's ten times stronger than its humanoid state, which is already ten times stronge-"
"Alright, I get it! Geese, we've got to fight something like that and we're the ones being sent out to take care of it? That's just crazy," Johan uttered, grimacing at the thought of it.
"Well, I suppose it shouldn't be that bad. From the reports I've read on saiyans, they can only transform when they receive something called blutz waves from a moon, though there was one ancient case where a saiyan created a fake moon from a his own energy to generate these waves... There was also another report that explained a weakness all saiyans had: Their tails."
"Tails? They have tails? Is that the only characteristic that makes them different than humans, in appearance," Requies asked. Relic nodded to the question. He then began to explain the battle plan, veering over to the right.
"That's exactly it. Apparently, much of their power comes from their tail. Since it's an additional appendage, if it were to be lost, a saiyan would lose a lot of its natural strength. Say that if you lost use of one of your arms, you wouldn't be at your full power, for part of your total energy that makes you YOU isn't there. You're off balance and can't fully adjust, no matter what. Though they can regenerate, saiyan tails take a long time to grow back. This is how we're going to engage this target," Relic explained.
"Hold on a minute," Lassandra butted in, catching up to the group with Cassidy.
"Are you saying that we're gonna aim to remove this creep's tail first, rather than just brake his arms and legs?"
Relic looked to Lassandra, asking, "Would you prefer to deal with the chance that the Red Wolf becomes a gigantic ape before we get the chance break his bones?"
Requies looked over, asking, "Actually Relic. I've got a question about that... Did the target have his tail when he fought my dad?"
The commander's attention was brought back forward. For a bit, he didn't say anything. It looked as if he was trying to remember if the Red Wolf had a tail on him or not. Requies was becoming a bit worried. Even though he was there, Requies didn't see a tail on the target. What if Relic's gauging of the Wolf's strength was off because of this defining factor?
The commander finally replied, "When your father brought him forward, his tail wasn't there. Either your father ripped it off during the fight or he somehow lost it in a previous engagement... I am afraid I don't know."
"I was afraid you were gonna say that," Requies responded, bringing his attention forward. Red Wolf could be stronger than he and Relic thought he was. The mission's danger level shot up through this unconfirmed information. Would their unit be enough to pin the solitary predator down? There was only one way to find out...
A wooded area approached their eyes, as Relic shouted, "Alright, everyone! Here's the plan! Once we reach the forest, get off your speeders and put them back in capsule form and maintain from using your energy! We need to be able to sneak up on the target. However, no doubt, the target is able to sense out energy as well! We'll be working in two different teams. I will head the team to directly assault the Red Wolf with Grell, Yusa, and Cassidy while Requies heads the other team bombards the Wolf with Ki blasts, to batter and weaken the Wolf! Once he's weak enough, I will attempt to rip off his tail while the rest restrain him!"
The group resounded with an agreeing grunt. They reached the edge of the forest and dismounted their vehicles. They gathered into their groups, as Relic explained one last thing, "We'll be able to communicate with each other by pressing this green button on the wrist bands. If you spot the target, signal your furthest partner to send out the message through hand signals. Also, don't expect plans to go as well as planned, kids. Be prepared to adjust... Now, Grell, Cassidy, and Yusa... When you restrain him..."
Relic went into another long explanation on how to restrain the target, while Requies, Lassandra, and Johan grouped up, to plan themselves. Lassandra noticed Requies looked very troubled with the information they were given. She told him, "Buck up, Demon Prince. We're here now and we can't be feeling glum."
"I know, but-"
Requies was slapped in the face, as Lassandra exclaimed, "No buts! We're gonna win this, go home, and have ourselves a beer, just the two of us if you can buck up and lead!"
Requies stared at her with surprise, then looked at Johan. He rose his hands up, telling him, "I got nothing to say now! That shit ain't motivation enough, I don't know what is!"
The Demon Prince exchanged looks between the two of them, not really sure what to say to them. All that simply came out was, "Well then..."

(Part 3, lets go! The finally!)
An hour has passed since both groups entered the forest. An hour of silent searching, tension building up among everyone... An hour before things went to hell. Requies and his group were searching the area, trying to get a pin point on the Wolf's energy, but it seemed that the Wolf couldn't be sensed out. He wondered if the information was wrong, that this was wrong... But at the same time, the information Relic presented them was very much like the reports he had seen while they were still at the main base of operations. Were they wrong?
Before Requies could debate this thought, Johann pointed out a ki blast up in the air, to the east of their current location. After that, one of the ki signatures immediately faded from the other group, while two powerful forces pulsed from the area. Fearing what had just happened, Requies bellowed out, "Everyone, move! We need to back them up!"
Requies focused his energy and burst into the air, his aura flaring up as he did. The others followed suit, not being able to really keep up with him. They weren't able to tell him to calm down. The Demon Prince saw ki blasts flashing through the area, but ignored them, to focus on figuring out where that faded signature was. A faint pulse was sent out from the person, which had Requies immediately bolt to the location.
Requies arrived to see Cassidy beat to all hell, with a heavily damaged on her left hand. Yusa had been taking care of her, preparing to evacuate her from the area. She noticed Requies, not sure what to say. Requies asked, "How'd this happen? Is she going to be alright?"
"You have to go help Grell and Relic! Quickly! I got things covered here," she screamed, wrapping up Cassidy in whatever gauze she had. Requies took his bag off his back and tossed it to her before heading towards Relic and Grell. He lost the signature for a brief moment, looking around desperately. Johann and Lassandra finally caught up to him, about to tell him to calm down.
"Go help Yusa with Cassidy! She's badly hurt," Requies interrupted. He sensed out the signatures again and sped to the area. Requies was hoping that he would be able to get to the area before Relic and Grell were taken down. The fact that Cassidy was so quickly taken down without so much as a fight meant that they most certainly dealing with the Red Wolf.
He finally caught up to the three. They had made their way into the air above the river in the area, fighting at speeds that almost matched Galvin's speed. Requies sped up to them, readying his Bulwark Destruction. However, as Requies approached, the Red Wolf smacked the two away from him and sent a large blast Requies's way. Requies stopped charging and flew around the blast.
The Demon Prince got in front of the Wolf, a fist being sent at his face. His opponent blocked the attack and sent a heavy punch into Requies's gut. Requies buckled over, as he gasped for air. Requies was quickly kicked down towards the river, falling like a rock. Requies couldn't believe what just happened! While he was able to take the hits, Requies was still being tossed around like a rag doll! The memory of the Muscle Tower battle flashed before him, as he felt like a ghost watching what was happening from above.
He watched as his father and the Red Wolf clashed all over the tower, shock waves from the blows kicking up snow. Requies wasn't able to keep his balance, so he was immediately being buried under wave after wave of snow, as well as being sent off his feet. Relic had to get him out of the battle, into the surrounding forest so that he wouldn't get killed by the clashes. Requies felt anger welling up inside of him! He had the chance to handle these attacks on his own, without there being a safety net to keep him alive, but it wasn't happening.
Requies flared open his eyes and halted his fall into the river. Energy flowed out of him, as his frustration built up. He felt the Wolf's energy closing in on him. Requies whirled around, sending a heavy kick at the Red Wolf. The blow was unexpected and sent the target into the forest, crashing into several trees. Requies sped over at him, quickly pouring energy into his right hand. His hand began to glow a bright, translucent light blue. When he was above the Red Wolf, he barked out a curse and punched the energy outwards.
"Submit, wretch!"
The energy rocked out in a cone towards the ground, like fires exploding out of a rocket's engine. Dust and energy flew outward from the central focal point of the Bulwark Destruction attack. A cry of pain could be heard coming from the Red Wolf. A crater developed from the impact. When the energy faded, Requies was seen lying on the ground, panting for air. The Red Wolf looked motionless to Relic and Grell.
Relic went to check on Requies, while Grell checked on the Red Wolf. Requies had a smile on his face, as he laugh a little. He exclaimed, "Target... Down... Huff..."
"Sure, the Red Wolf's down, but you recklessly attacked out of anger. Other than that, you did a decent job," Relic stated, as he patted Requies's shoulder. Requies passed out into sleep, tired from the intense expenditure of energy. He would carried back to Satan City by Lassandra, while Cassidy would be carried back by Johann. Unfortunately, Requies forgot about what Lassandra said and would not get that day with her.
(Sorry about the horrendous last post. Was rushing this before I went out of the house.)

OOC: Just wanna make this quick post, to give a heads up. The power level you currently see in the profile, 19870, is the power level previously on the site, to clear any concerns about it! That's all!
