The saiyan sun beat down on Ikezu as he floated in the air surveying his environment. He needed to become stronger in order to complete his ultimate goals, destroying the WTO and Ietr Jinta, two organizations which extorted planets before destroying the inhabitants. They were monsters and needed to be stopped, and Ikezu would be the one to aid in their destruction!
He had grown since he had started his training, and felt comfortable to try a technique he had seen done by his mentor Kakarot. The technique was called Chained Assault, and it was essentially a technique that allowed one to create a single ball of energy which released several. When charged, it released energy bolts in quick succession, in a flurry of destruction.
Ikezu took his stance, and moved his hands so that they faced each other palms in and opened. Taking a deep breath in, he allowed his energy to flow into his palms, and a golden ball of energy formed.
“No, that’s not it.” Ikezu said cancelling the technique and trying again. This time channeling more energy, the same thing happened only faster.
“Damn it. How did he do it?” Ikezu said throwing the giant ki ball at the ground, a great wave of dust exploded upwards as it exploded crumbling a rocky plateau with ease.
Ikezu took another deep breath in, and this time had an idea. When he began charging his attack, he held the energy in his arms, and when he had all of the energy charged in his arms he released it all at once. This time a blue spark jolted across his hands, and formed a small ki blue ki ball about the size of a golf ball.
“Yes! but I need more. That’s not nearly as powerful as Kakarot’s.” Ikezu exclaimed.
He floated for a little, crossing his legs and sitting in a meditative position.
‘Ok, so by holding the energy before I release it, I super charge my ki ball. That’s where the technique comes from. So I have to release the energy instantaneously, not gradually. After the initial release, I should be able to charge it normally. Now how do I release the technique in a volley?’
Ikezu stood up, and took his position again, releasing his energy all at once allowing the blue spark to form once again. This time after it formed he allowed the technique to charge naturally, and it did; growing in size with every second. After a few moments it was about the size of a volley ball, and Ikezu felt comfortable in trying to release the volley.
Easing up on the technique, a single bolt flew out and the source ball shrunk considerably. The bolt (about the size of a baseball) hit a plateau and blew it in half, cutting straight through the stone it hit.
Ikezu regained control, and eased up slower. This time a smaller ball (the size of a golf ball) was released, and the source ball shrunk less than before. The ball packed about twice the power of Ikezu’s normal ki ball, but was considerably faster in speed. This was the technique he was looking for.
