Note: The training takes place on King Kai's planet so it counts as training in x10 gravity
It's been a week since Saru was vaporized by that red haired android and was sent to heaven. At first the young saiyan was of course was pissed off that the android put him in an early grave and at the same time worried. The android mentioned that he destroyed another city which meant one thing and one thing only, this android was going to kill more people and there weren't anybody that he personally knew that could take that android down. But now that he has had some time to vent out some of that anger, he was more calm about his situation, but was still worried about what was going to happen to the Earth.
After spending about a week in heaven, Saru learned of a martial arts master named North Kai who could train him. And as a saiyan, Saru wanted to actually check out how powerful this master was and learn from him. And hopefully in time fight him. After all, he had envisioned this martial arts master being strong enough to kick his ass without even batting an eye. After getting transferred from heaven to King Kai's planet, he suddenly appeared on the planet mid air and ended up falling to the planet's ground face first due to the sudden change in gravity.
“Owww…” muttered Saru as he struggled to get up, but for some odd reason his body felt unusually heavy and it took him a good minute to get up and stand up straight.
“Why do I feel so heavy?” asked Saru to himself.
“It’s because of the gravity. Since the planet is so small, it’s gravity is a lot higher than other planets” said a youthful voice from behind. When he turned around he saw a human that appeared to be around his own age with light skin, blond hair and dark blue eyes. He wore a dark blue martial arts gi and there was a halo floating around his head indicating that he was dead just like Saru.
“Are you North Kai” asked Saru as he turned around to face the blond haired teen.
““No, he’s busy at the moment and unfortunately I don’t know any of his techniques. But it seems that your having a hard time copping with the gravity and that’s something that I can help you with. It’s one of the many things that makes North Kai’s training worthwhile since you can become stronger at a faster rate” explained the blond haired boy.
“By the way, the name’s Saru, what’s yours”
“Nice to meet you Saru, the name’s Adam. Since it would probably be better for you to develop the muscles that you use to fight, we’re going to have a spar. But there is one rule you must follow and that is that you can’t use and ki attacks including the ability to fly. Do I make my self clear? asked the boy with a demanding presence
“I get it. Let’s get this thing started already. I’m itching to test out this new power of mine” said Saru with a smirk on his face as he got into his battle stance. Adam would start off the spar by throwing a simple jab at Saru’s face and to Adam it seemed very slow to him. Saru would attempt to parry it with his right arm, but the force of the gravity made his arm slowly as his body struggled to push against it. Unfortunately, Saru’s body wasn’t fast enough allowing Adam’s fist to connect with his face forcing him to stumble back a bit. It looks like I'll need to go fully throttle with this if I'm going to move properly thought the young saiyan as he threw a left hook at full force and speed.
The human blocked the left hook with his right arm and threw kick at his legs. Saru jumped several feet into the air using most of his leg strength to push against the high gravity. As he was mid air, Saru threw a kick at his chin and once the kick connected, the human jumped back preforming a back flip to weaken the blow of the kick. The fact that he pulled it off effortlessly told Saru that Adam has been training on this planet for a while. Saru would then land on the ground creating a loud thud before running towards the human and throwing a wild barrage of punches at the opponents chest in face.
Adam simply redirected each punch effortlessly never meeting a single one head on as Saru wasted precious energy just to have his body to push itself against the gravity. Saru ended the combo by throwing a high front kick, but Adam avoided it by jumping back. Saru would then drop to his knees with his breath heavy and his body sweaty for pushing himself to preform that barrage of attacks.
"That was kind of stupid. You really should have at least waited until your body was used to walking in this kind of gravity before this" said Adam as he watched his opponent gasp for air.
"Shut..... up" said Saru taking a deep breath between the two syllables that came out of his mouth.
"Hey, it's just a suggestion. You need to build up your strength before preforming that kind of thing. I'll leave you be so that I can continue my own training and if you want a sparing partner, just look for me. Just be sure to take it easy let your body get used to the gravity by doing everyday tasks before you start going all out with your physical attacks" explained Adam look a bit annoyed that the new guy told him to shut up. He would then turn around and left Saru alone with his breath almost finally caught up.
Unfortunately, Saru wasn't patient when it comes down to slow training and prefers to take things head on. But there was one thing that was apparent to the young saiyan and that was that he needed to conquer this high gravity if he was going to be able to move like he did back on Earth.
