The comfort of a new spacecraft, the musty spell of new upholstery, and the red glow of the gravity room. Ikezu had recently made a very lucrative investment into his new spaceship, a vehicle he'd be using often as a soldier of the Solar Saiyan Empire. He found earlier in life that taking initiative was a sign of loyalty, so he decided to take the initiative and purchase his own ship out of his own pockets.
The ship was reasonably comfortable, not as big or comfortable as the luxurious ship his mentor Kakarot owned, but it would certainly serve it's purpose. It was built with an advanced navigational system, auto-pilot, a sleeping chamber, and training room with built in gravity enhancers which could be set between x10 gravity and x50 gravity. Ikezu would make great use of this, during his wait for orders from his liege King Boliko the leader of the SSE.
He looked around the bare room, and saw nothing. Just a large empty space. He'd have to see about putting in some training equipment.
He went to the gravity function and flipped the switch, and instantly he felt himself becoming heavier. So heavy in fact, that he couldn't fly more than a few centimeters off the ground. He stumbled around, and got a good feel for the gravity allowing himself to become accustomed to this feeling. Once he had his barrings he started on his normal routine, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 inverted push-ups, followed by 200 laps around the gym. However because of the increased weight, he was only able to do 1/10th of each.
However his determination wouldn't allow him to quit, he pushed on, and instead of doing everything at the same time, he simply did 10 repititions of the routine. 10 sets of 10 push-ups, followed by 10 sets of 10 sit-ups, 10 sets of 10 inverted push-ups, and 10 sets of 20 laps. All with minimal breaks. After this the gravity seemed a bit lighter, so he tried jumping, and managed to jump about an inch before being slammed back to the ground. Still unable to fly.
He repeated this routine every day for 3 days, 10 sets of 10 push-ups, followed by 10 sets of 10 sit-ups etc. After the third day he was capable of jumping about a foot of the ground, and flying with focus. Of course he could have used his transformation, but that would have been cheating!
On the 3rd day he increased his sets to 20 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, 20 inverted pushups, and 40 laps. He also began using the weights for training, doing 5 reps with the dumbbells, and weight bench. With 5 reps of each. 3 days after this, he was able to do his full routine and continued as such for an additional 5 days. After that time he was completely used to the x10 gravity, and decided to turn the machine off.
He had the machine on the whole time, and had lived those days under x10 gravity, eating, sleeping, everything except using the restroom. So when the gravity machine was turned off finally, Ikezu felt a huge relief, and a huge difference in his perceived weight, he was ALOT stronger, faster, and felt ready for any challenge.
"Excellent! I'll be stronger in no time." Smiled Ikezu, pleased with his new toy.
OOC: PL pretty please with a chocolate chip cookie on top.
