This was the place. Finally, after all this flying around and listening to 2B's orders, Jorlaxl finally found where one of Pharaun's other creations rested. Jorlaxl wasn't jealous about him creating the other machines, no. That wasn't it at all. 2B's intelligence is limited, but what it did say was that Pharaun created at least 10 other machines, and 2 of them are able to be absorbed. All he needs to do is find them...
This abandoned part of Satan City used to house the Machine Task Force, a former installation that patrolled the streets as law enforcement officers. However, they have long since shut down. This part of the town was abandoned years ago, after a machine went rogue and leveled buildings. This was the one that Jorlaxl was interested in. Delious was it's name, "The Violet Engine."
All of the openings were locked tight, and signs posted outside warned intruders of traps. Looking around cautiously, Jorlaxl pointed his finger at the door's lock, and shot a missile at it. It shot out, and hit the door, clunked against it, and fell harmlessly to the floor.
"What the Hell? 2B, why didn't my missile open up the door?" He was angry. This door was impeding his progress. He needed to find those androids. He needed to.
"Sir, sensors indicate that this door was electromagnetically locked with the finest in military security codes in place. Now, we should have clearance to open it from back when it was still operational. Take out your card key and try swiping it.
Jorlaxl looked around to make sure he wasn't followed or heard, and searched around in his pockets, shuffling his feet while he did so. Finding it at last, crouched down and slid the key card through the reader. Hearing a faint beeping noise and a click, the door slid open silently. Peering inside, he saw only darkness. Tentatively, he stepped inside, and heard a faint click. Thinking quickly, he rolled back outside just in time to see a ray of light shoot across where he had just been a few moments ago.
"Geez, that was close. I need to watch my step."
That much is obvious, sir. Now, my knowledge suggests that although the machine is shut down, it should be near the top of the building, in the back. Now, simply follow the stairs, and try not to fall for any more traps.
"Easier said than done," Jorlaxl said to himself, and started walking. The dust on this place was deplorable, even worse than the amount that was everywhere where he was awakened. This place was clearly empty for at least 20 years longer than his facility was. Not the best of places,2B said, helping Jorlaxl take his mind off of the stress at hand. I wonder what this android will look like.
Walking up the stairs, he heard the click of a trap just in time! Suddenly, a bolt of energy shot out, and he jumped up in the air just as the ray shot out where he feet just were. Landing softly down on the ground, he brushed off any dust that was on his clothes, and continued his journey. "These cops really like their traps, don't they? How come they even set them? It's really odd, now that I think about it..."
Sir, they were probably set by Delious. 2B explained. He could have hacked the entire network of this building by now. If Pharaun put a chip like me into him like he did with you, we could be in some trouble. After all, he could very well be watching us right now.
"Good, Jorlaxl said, continuing down the hallway that stretched before him. "Let it see. That just makes this victory seem all the more satisfying. Besides, I'm itching for a good challenge." Arriving at the end of the hallway, he saw that the door was opened, and he could see inside.
The light was bright enough to illuminate the entire room, and Jorlaxl could clearly see the figure in the room, sitting in the chair. The figure had long red hair, in a sharp contrast to Jorlaxl's short black hair. It was wearing a black jumpsuit and was sitting down at a desk, staring straight at Jorlaxl. And oddly enough, it was clapping.
"Very well done, Red Engine." a feminine voice said calmly. "I didn't expect you to make it this far. And quite frankly, I'm impressed how much Pharaun has improved upon the original model." Standing up, she began,"Don't get me wrong, I know why you're here, and before we get to it, I want to help you out if you win. You see, I'm not without compassion, and from one android to another, I'd be more than happy to help you out should you win.
She motioned towards a large computer and said, "This computer has a lot of information about our creator, and all of his creations. If you defeat me, you will have free reign over it. So, let's begin!" With that, she flew towards Jorlaxl at incredible speed.
Thinking quickly (although quite confused from the overload of information that was presented to him,) Jorlaxl raised both of his hands out and shot magic missiles straight at Delious, aimed right at her chest. A few missed, but at least 4 of them connected solidly, blasting her back where she hit the wall with a heavy thud. Jorlaxl took this opportunity to fly towards her, going in for a heavy punch. She regained her bearings quickly, though, and dodged just in time for the punch to hit the wall behind her.
Standing up, Delious attacked Jorlaxl with blinding speed, kicking and punching at his torso. A few shots connected, but he managed to block off a few more, and managed twist her arm and throw her against the wall that they were right beside. She slammed against it hard, but he held her arm still, and held his right hand in front of her face. Grinning, he shot out magic missiles straight into her head, pounding her repeatedly. She started to spasm on the ground, and then stood still. Surprised that it was over so quickly, Jorlaxl stomped on her head, ending the erratic motions.
Slowly, he took steps towards the computer and started to go through the files.
(Finished, Zennie please?)
