Jorlaxl walked into Suki's training room, again. However, he didn't turn on the gravity function; he didn't need it. He only needed the sparring simulator, and his own imagination. He was quite a bit more powerful than he was earlier, back on earth, and he was rapidly recalling his fight with Xanden, and how the panda man was able to transform, increasing his natural power, albeit for a limited time.
Jorlaxl pondered the thought of being able to increase his power, if not only for a few minutes. It would be useful, for sure. Who knew what would be out there, waiting for him? Besides, as lord Suki has proven, having aces up your sleeve was a good thing, and not to be underestimated. Jorlaxl walked over to the sparring machine, and set it to fight himself, again. At least now he won't be surprised. Cracking his knuckles, he waited for the hologram to manifest.
After a few moments of indecision, the hologram appeared in Jorlaxl's fighting stance. Being a defensive fighter at first, he was waiting for Jorlaxl to make the first move. Jorlaxl calmed himself, and was in the middle of a mental battle.
Sir, because of your recent progression in strength, your body can now expand even further, increasing your damage dealing effectiveness, speed, and resistance to others' attacks. However, it can't be used for too long. A 10 minute boost is all it provides. But if you're using it right, it should be more than enough time.
Jorlaxl was amazed, and searched inside of himself for a moment to find this untapped power, waiting to be unleashed. Finally finding it, he imagined a cork coming off a fresh champagne bottle. And so it was, for as he did, he felt himself powering up, becoming stronger, tougher, and more importantly... faster.
Pharaun started this, and called it "Unyielding spirit." You weren't strong enough to handle it at your beginning power, so he had it locked away until you could handle it.
The training simulation was unfazed, and still waiting for an attack. Obviously the faux-laxl didn't get the new ability yet. The enemy was waiting for an attack, and Jorlaxl was more than happy to oblige. Running up to his clone more quickly than the projection could follow, he punched it as fast as he could, smashing the face underneath. He felt the pretend skin ripple and tear underneath his new skin, and the body crumpled to the floor, unmoving.
Adequately satisfied with his new power, he noticed that the ship was landing down on Vegeta. Finally, after all the waiting, he arrived. He couldn't help but wonder what this planet looks like...
Time to see the locales, the plant life, and maybe test out my new power... Jorlaxl grinned, and waited for Suki to disembark.
