Civilians in need
Ozikai had finished building his house and now he had some spar time on his hands.
He thought to himself what he could do.
He thought that he had already trained enough so he decided that he would try to show the natives of this planet that he was not here to harm him and he was here to help them.
He walked out of his house and searched the area for Ki.
This was to see whether it was safe and to see where the natives were located. The area was clear of threats so he searched for the native’s Ki.
He found an area that had a large number of Ki signatures.
He figured that this must have one of the natives villages so he flew down to check it out.
Ozikai was right, but this village was different from the ones on his home planet.
This village was called a city; Ozikai did not know what that meant in his language since he knew little of it.
This “city” had tall buildings all though were as the ones on Ozikai’s home planet only had small huts.
This city also had a lot more buildings out numbering his 5 to 1.
It had people always in it, busy taking into devices that seemed to teleport someone’s voice to someone else with one of these devices.
He thought that he had heard the word phone used for it before.
He decided to walk through the city not wanting to scare anyone with his flying abilities.
With just a glance at Ozikai people could tell he was not from earth and they backed away.
Ozikai wondered how he could prove to these people that he was here to help.
Then he heard a sound.
It was screaming coming from the road across from the one Ozikai was standing at.
He could see and old female native that was lying on the floor calling for help.
Ozikai rushed over to help her.
When Ozikai asked what happened the native tried to run.
But then Ozikai explained that he was here to help the woman finally calmed down.
‘Some young thug took my purses he went that way, please get him.”
Ozikai did not know what a purse was but it did matter he went after the man.
He decided that he probably already had gained some ground on him so he decided that flying would be better.
The man was not very fast and Ozikai was easily caught up to him.
Ozikai saw a small bag hanging from the man’s arm.
He guessed that this was purse that the woman was taking about.
He grabbed the man by the back of his shirt and pulled him up.
“You can give it to me or you can fight me for it.”
The man was so scared that he threw the purse to Ozikai and he ran away.
Ozikai returned the purse to the old native woman.
“Thank you here is a reward for helping me.”
The old native handed Ozikai some coins.
Ozikai had a puzzled look on his face.
“What’s this?”
“Its zeni young lad, do you know what that is?”
“No.”
“You can buy things with it lad, at the shop.”
Then the old native left.
Ozikai had some of this zeni before but he had only just known what it was now.
