The world of the Tormented ones Niju knew as an android creating facility was a very bland and boring place, She came from a huge, midnight black facility surrounded by endless, sprawling creatures in dirt and dead grass which was completely devoid of life, apart from the festering fiends, who had a clear mind to stay clear from the facility.
Inside of The Gates , for that was its name, were what remained of the Androids. One of them was sitting in an office, that which she had claimed as her room, feet propped on a desk, and eyes boring into the pages of a book. Niju wasn’t one who you would think would like a good book, from her Aggressive, loud mouth and violent nature. But one of her guilty pleasures was to be absorbed in a story, a fantastic adventure with handsome humans and majestic aliens.
Well, not today. She was actually reading a book she had found, which had been lying lonely on an empty bookshelf. The book was a non-fiction piece of text based on the many types of combat ready weapon and aim. A pencil tapped absently on the arm of her chair, and she underlined a few things with a deft hand, biting her lip gently.
A few minutes later, and with a triumphant smirk on her lips, she placed the book down on her desk, leaping from her chair and walking out towards the door, a malicious expression on her face. The book fell open on the desk, the page having two word underlined. Heat Seeking She spent four days of straight practicing. First was the actual training without the presence of anyone else. She would Shoot a yellow energy ball into the sky, the energy would normally continue to fly of in the direction she had shot it. This would anger her slightly each time. Placing her hands behind her head she leaned against a wall. Placing her hands behind her head, her chest heaving up and down with heavy breaths. It was tiring after 50 or so tries, but she felt it becoming easier, more natural now. It was hard at first, to concentrate on shooting out heat seeking energy. It was all about the right quantities and densities, but she felt that she was getting the hang of it now.
After a quick break, Niju straightened up, readjusting her solid white sweat pants before stepping forwards, her hand was quickly thursted outward here we go once again she thought to herself. “Ready for some more?” She murmured, feeling energy coursing through her body the energy she had created could be felt under her palm. “Rising Star!” Niju's hand pulsated, and she saw a small yellow ball of energy just sitting there in front of her motionless. There was more to the attack than this, the technique needed still to be completed. At least she was getting somewhere.
A gasp escaped her as she fell to her knees.Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Niju glanced at where her hands rested on the ground, tiny droplets of sweat leaking down the white, silk-like material for her jacket. She swallowed hard, fatigue swarming into her body. She had been at it none stop, her feet were aching and bleeding from a lack of rest, her palms clammy and bruised. Her shoulders felt as if it had been torn off and put on again. A crystal clear liquid seeped from the moist skin. “I NEED TO SHINE.” She growled, pushing herself up, wavering on her feet. This final technique was hard, harder than she had ever imagined. But her stubborn pride screamed at her to perfect it.
The final attack, the heat seeking ; the energy she released from her palms should find the nearest warm blood creature and surrounding them following the targets every move. At will Niju could decide to attack with them. Sending it on a hunt until it captured its prey. She had been at it for days, perhaps weeks. She hadn’t even bothered counting. Her body felt ready to die, but she stopped herself, forcing herself to continue for longer.
I can do this I am damn star dammit! She cursed inside her mind, not finding the strength to voice her words. Wiping the grime from her cheeks with a shaky hand, she brought her arm from the ground, before gritting her teeth and plunging it in again. “Rising Star!” Perhaps it was a mere ego, or her luck had actually pulled through. With delighted eyes, she watched as a. Ball of energy took to the sky, its direction quickly changed targeting a nearby fiend. The fiend hastily tried to dodge the ball. But to its surprise the ball followed his every move. Niju then snapped her fingers as the ball of energy shot forward and blast the fiend almost instantly. She allowed herself a triumphant grin, before collapsing on the floor.
Niju had only just found her own training area weeks before. It was on the outside of The Gates, about two miles north-east. The fiends mostly avoided the area, afraid of being the subject of an attack from the female Android or so she supposed. She was sitting on a rock now, her body was lifeless, like a dead fish on dry land. She had her pale hands wrapped around the side of the rock, and a slender smirk was on her lips.
With her sharp exiguous eyes, she watched as a mere Wolf was in front of her, unaware of the danger nearby. Niju grinned, her dark blues flashed menacingly. “Time to test out my new move.” She murmured, thrusting herself off the rock she yelled. ”Rising Star!”
A bright yellow blast left her palms, and Niju gazed intently at the Wolf. 'Bingo.' the bright ball of energy shot straight to where the wolf was standing. The weak unaware wolf growled as the ball stopped right in front of him. Four more balls of energy left Her hands surround the wolf forming a star shape. Her finger snapped as the first ball immediately charged at the wolf hitting it square in the back. A loud boom could be heard as the other four energy balls followed in on the attack, a sharp gasp and a howl echoing from the wolf. It had suffered a painful death do to her attack. She grinned, stepping forwards and gazing down at what was left of the wolf, the burned shredded carcass not effecting her in the slightest.
"A Star is Born, I can't wait to show off this attack, I'll shine like never before."
