As The Sun Sets

Miles of desert surround Rose from all sides. Large rocks peeked out from time to time giving little shade to the creatures that in this sweltering place. One pale hand let go of the wheel and reached for a clear plastic bottle. Lifting it up she let the warm liquid passed through her lips. Even warm the water refreshed the red headed girl that sat behind the drivers seat. She had long red hair that brushed her hips. But at the moment the wind blew it around from her open window.

Finally after several hours Rose pulled over to the side of the road. Getting out for the first time you could see a long brown monkey like tail. As she walked to the trunk it would swing from side to side giving a little twitch from time to time. Opening the trunk she revealed a rolled up tent, several bottles of water, as well as a few other items. Grabbing the tent Rose began to set it up. It didn't take long for she had done it so many times before. When she was finally done she looked around the lifted of into the air.

Rose flew up high to take a look around hoping to find some trees. Off in the distance she spotted several dead trees. With quick speed the flew to them and broke several limbs off than flew back to her tent landing on the ground softly with out a sound.

It didn't take long to get the fire roaring. At night it got very cold in the desert and she would need the heat to keep her warm. The sun was beginning to set now casting a beautiful orange glow across the sky. A smile spread mouth. This was one of Rose's favorite time of day. It was always so beautiful. Finally after the sun dipped below the horizon and the stars began to appear. But instead of going inside the tent to sleep she sat down besides the fire and watched the stars come out. Finally when all of the suns light was gone and it was pitch black. Rose got up and crawled into her tent and under the sleeping bag. And in moments she was fast asleep.
