Komatsuna was looking for Serori, roaming the streets of Saru City. Last time he'd seen Serori, he'd gotten extremely embarassed. It was stupid of him, he thought. Now he needed to make up for it. He had dressed up, combed his hair, and bought her the best bouquet he could. He was going to tell her how he felt. Suddenly he heard someone call out "Komatsuna!" He looked in the direction he heard his name come from, and saw Serori, making her way towards him. He began walking towards her, and they met in the middle. He spoke first. "Serori, I've been looking for you. I have something for you." He handed Serori the bouquet. She looked confused as she took it. Komatsuna continued "I have...some explaining to do. First off, I lied to you. I'm not half-saiyan. I'm an android. My father never had time to get married, what with his work and all, so he had me built when he moved here. I didn't want to tell you, because I thought that you'd be mad, or upset, or horrified, or disgusted, or something. But now, looking back, I realise how stupid that was. And, I guess the reason I felt that way is...well..." He took a deep breath. He hadn't prepared himself for this, hadn't practiced. This was the hard part. Sure, he'd had feelings for other girls before, but never this strong. 'Here I go,' he thought. "Serori, I think I'm in love with you." Serori looked at Komatsuna. Komatsuna couldn't tell what was going on through her mind. He really hoped it would be what he wanted, but was preparing himself mentally for in case it wasn't. He awaited her response. She looked down at the bouquet. Komatsuna eagerly waiter for her to speak. "Komatsuna, you are very nice. You helped me out when I got here, helped me train. I'd love to be with you." Komatsuna's face broke into a huge grin. Yes! He'd done it! He was extremely proud of himself. Seror began to speak again. "But," said Serori. "But...I don't think I can. Not right now, anyways. I want to get stronger, and I feel like you would help to an extent. But after that point, you would just slow me down." Komatsuna's face fell. This is not what he wanted to hear. He had to think of something, he had to save this. "But, but, I can get stronger, I can help you, I..." his words were stopped by Serori, who had placed her finger on his lip. "We want different things. We wouldn't work. I'm really sorry Komatsuna." Komatsuna didn't know what to say. Serori wrapped her arms around him in a hug, and he did the same. This was not at all what he had expected. But then again, what had he really expected? After all, they had only just met. He cursed himself for coming on way too strong. He felt as if something needed to be said. "I...I guess this is goodbye then," He managed. Serori nodded. They let go of each other. Serori looked at the ground, Komatsuna at the sky. "I don't know if we'll ever see each again, Komatsuna. I hope you can live your life to the fullest, and are never met with dissapointment." Komatsuna nodded. He knew it would. He would try to win her back, but not in the selfish way that most men do. He was going to legitimately win her back. "And the same to you, Serori". He knew what he wanted to do, what he needed to do. He would have to go to Earth, get stronger, and then come back. Serori and Komatsuna looked at each other. They shook each other's hands, and left, Serori heading for her pod, and Komatsuna to his house.
Upon arrival, he heard his dad banging on the metal. He went to the back of the house, where the forge was. He helped his dad finish the weapon he was working on before telling him. "Dad. I'm going to earth." His dad looked up at him. Komatsuna didn't realise how old his dad looked. He saw the love in his eyes. Komatsuna knew his dad loved him, even though he wasn't his real father. Henry put down his hammer, and looked closer at his son. "Yeah, I reckon it is about time you went to Earth. Make a living. Sell some swords." He smiled. "Become the greatest swordsman, like you've always wanted to." He picked up the hammer and shuffled around the forge. "I heard there was a really good school you could go to on Earth...The Kikoukenjutsu Sword School, its called." Komatsuna had heard of it in his frequent visits to Earth while delivering his dad's works to his clients. It was near Central City Ruins. He would go there, and learn to be a better swordsman. He packed his stuff, clothes and etcetera, and went out teh door. He felt a hand on his shoulder. His dad had grabbed him. Komatsuna turned around. "Son, I want you to have this." He handed over a sword. It was a marvelous weapon, one his dad had been working on for years, honing the blade to perfection. Komatsuna took it. He replaced his sword at his side with it, and turned to his dad. He was smiling, proud his son was going to fulfill his dream. Henry had never been able to, being too busy with his own work to go out and marry. Komatsuna was his pride and joy. "Take care, son." Komatsuna nodded, and went to the port. He took a spacepod to Satan City, Earth. He wondered what adventure awaited him on his arrival.
