c0mah sat on the edge of a cliff looking over the city, it was the middle of the day and the sun beat down nicely on his back. He had spent most of the morning up in the mountains training and also testing how well he could survive on his own. After turning 18 a few months ago he had decided to leave the fighting league run by his father Jin. Jin wasn't really c0mah's father, rather he had a adopted him from an orphanage but c0mah felt no love for Jin. In fact he hated him. Jin adopted children and forced them to fight in his underground fight league. c0mah, being a very powerful being was undefeated in the league and had decided before he left to find a life of his own he would put a stop to this league once and for all.
It was early evening before c0mah decided to end his training and make his way back into the city and home. Jin had taught c0mah the ability to fly using his ki energy, but he needed time to think so decided to take the long walk down the mountain and home. As midnight drew closer he reached the gate of the huge mansion owned by Jin, he punched in the security code and walked inside. Everyone was asleep by now so c0mah walked upstairs to his room and sat on his bed. He thought for what seemed like 5 minutes but turned out to be an hour, it had been a long day of thinking but he finally knew what he had to do. There was an event being held tomorrow night by Jin's fight club, and even though c0mah was not booked to fight there he would be making a very big impact indeed. He switched off the light and pulled the covers up over himself, he would need rest for the next days events.
As soon as c0mah got up that morning he began to fill a back pack full of supplies and clothes, he knew after tonight he would have to leave, and he wanted it to be a quick as it possibly could be. The rest of the day was fairly normal, Jin being the business man that he was was in meetings all day and had no time for c0mah. Finally Jin's assistant came to speak with c0mah and asked him if a ride should be arranged to fights tonight, which he replied "Yes, but I would stay away if I were you." c0mah knew Jin's assistant knew what he meant, but he was a good man and wouldn't rat c0mah out to Jin.
On the way to the fights c0mah decided to have one more think about his options tonight. He couldn't go to the police as Jin had paid them all off. So he was left with two options. Sneak all of the underage fighters out of the arena so no fights could be held, this being the first and least likely option. It held too many problems, first the safety of the children and c0mah would be in danger but secondly and most important what would he do with 20+ kids aged 8-16. The second plan and one most likely for c0mah to go with was to talk to Jin in one of the locker rooms and confront him, he would tell him that if he didn't end the fights he would have no choice but to leave the city and report it to higher authorities. This plan was not without it's problems either. c0mah had never left this city and did not know where to go or who to report Jin to, it didn't matter though. c0mah hoped the threat would be enough to make Jin see the error of his ways.
It was about half way through the event and c0mah decided to go back stage and find an empty room to confront Jin. Before he could make his way to the back rooms Jin called for him.
"c0mah, can you please come with me I need to talk with you."
This wasn't unusual, Jin had done this many times before to talk about upcoming fights that c0mah would have. But he saw it as the perfect opportunity to confront Jin. After a few minutes of walking Jin lead c0mah to a new room and motioned for him to go in first. c0mah, suspecting nothing suspicious walked inside only to see Jin's two strongest body guards waiting inside. He turned back to the door only to see Jin locking it behind him.
"What's the bag of clothes in your room for c0mah? I found it this afternoon." Jin said firmly.
"I... Err... I'm leaving. Unless you put a stop to these fights" c0mah was caught of guard.
"You know that won't happen c0mah, these fights are my highest money maker."
"Well then I'm going to leave and report you to higher authorities than the police here."
"Hmm, truth is I knew this day would come. I just wished it wouldn't. I had this room specially built for it."
Jin nodded to one of the guards and the ceiling of the the room began to open up and the room began to rise and the roar of the crowd deafend c0mah, he knew exactly what was happening. The room was rising up into the fighting arena.
"You should have stood by my side c0mah, we could have had riches beyond belief together."
The room had risen fully up to the arena now and the crowd were chanting "fight fight fight." Jin clicked his fingers and one of his guards came rushing at c0mah. c0mah burried a quick knee into the guards stomach before a blow to the head knocked the guard out cold.
"Jin, I know you don't think I'm that weak."
The second guard began to walk towards c0mah before Jin sent him back.
"I'll deal with him myself."
Jin took off his shirt to reveal an impressive physique. Jin may have been a business man, but he was a black belt in many different martial arts and had also learned how to channel his ki energy in many different ways.
"it will be me and you c0mah, one on one."
He launched at c0mah, quicker than expected landing a knee right to c0mah's face. Staggering backwards he gathered his composure and charged forwards. The melee battle continued for several minutes, until c0mah took a knee to the stomach followed by a heel kick to the temple. He fell to the ground spluttering. He managed to get to one knee and tried to gain his breath back, Jin stood over him and began to speak.
"I knew you were never as strong as I had hoped, you have used everything I taught you and still you can't best me."
c0mah lunged forward with ki energy forming around his hand making a sword, he stabbed it through Jin's body.
"I hadn't used quite everything you taught me."
c0mah pulled the ki sword from Jin's body, the body fell to the ground motionless. c0mah shot balls of ki energy into the ceiling. Breaking it apart and flew out of the hole created. He flew back to his home and grabbed his things. He would like to save the orphans but he knew Jin had allies. Some more powerful than Jin himself. It was too dangerous. He would come back and save them when could. c0mah headed into the forest, the last place he expected to be found and set off in search for a place he could seek shelter and prepare to save the orphans of Jin's fight league.
