The planet was beautiful, really. It was almost the perfect planet. The land was livable, and the temperature wasn't too bad. The only thing that flawed it was the inhabitants: the dreaded saiyans. Although Aquanus had heard this story many times, and it was by far one of his favorites, and he never tired of it. He saw the death ball form in Frieza's hand... and he nonchalantly flicked it at planet Vegeta. In a glorious explosion, the whole planet was no more. Planetary chunks of rock flew everywhere, and Frieza was laughing. But this wasn't Frieza... The voice sounded familiar.
Slowly the face formed, and it was Aquanus! It was *he* he destroyed planet Vegeta! He has finally brought an end to the monkeys! He was overjoyed at finally ending it-
And he woke up with a jerk. Aquanus Fahrenheit groggily shook his head, and slowly his memories returned.
"I need to stop reading stories of Frieza's conquest before bed." He said to no one in particular. This seemed to be a reoccurring dream, where he always destroyed the saiyan race, over and over again. However, sometimes small details changed.
In the last one, he destroyed it with a deathball, but sometimes he shot a laser through the core, which set off a chain reaction. Other times, he landed on the planet himself and cleared out it's inhabitants on his own. A rare yet still feasible alternative dream was where he went with his sister Aliza, and they destroyed it together.
Finally fully awake, Aquanus got out of bed, walked out of his lavish house, and made his way to the market place. He didn't complain about being noble, but it made it fairly difficult to get out of his dwelling without being swarmed by the detritus of Kold's many homeless lesser races.
There was one alien in particular that always seemed to overstep his bounds. Aquanus remembers the alien introducing himself, but he couldn't remember his name for the life of him. He was a big, green hulking alien, and would normally have made a good soldier in the military. However, he was missing an arm, which happened to be his primary arm. Being disfigured in such a way, he was useless, andut begging for money or food like all the others.
Aquanus ignored the commoners, but this beggar still followed him, asking "Please, sir. Just a little food... I have so little. Please show mercy..." He stepped in front of Aquanus, blocking his way.
Hm. How quaint. Aquanus thought to himself. I guess this big fella needs to be taught a valuable lesson...
"Ah, my good man. I've been waiting for you, as a matter of fact. Yes, I have some food for you. Show me where you live. I'll put it directly into your stores for you." He said with a smirk on his face. "Lead on."
The alien's face lit up with hope. "Yes sir! Right away, sir!" He started to walk up a big slope of a hill, that seemed to be abandoned.
After about 10 minutes of walking, they seemed to arrive at their destination. There was a makeshift tent on the ground, and a wicker chest beside it. "My food is in there, sir. Could you please deposit your food into it?" The alien's eyes were hopeful and pleading.
Focusing, Aquanus used his saiman no jutsu on this lumbering beast, and attempted to take over his mind. The creature's will was strong, much stronger than Aquanus gave him credit for, but it was a simple enough matter to assume direct control. Aquanus felt the alien's mind give, and then suddenly, he was in control.
The alien stood there with a blank expression on his face, and was silently awaiting Aquanus's command.
"Ah," he said smugly. "much better. Now, I want you to stay here. Riiight here. Now, you're going to feel a sharp pain, but that's to be expected, alright?"
The alien nodded in agreement, and Aquanus knew he was good to go. Holding his index and middle finger on his right hand together, he grunted, and then an orange glow surrounded them. Snickering, he then made a slashing motion at the creature, right at his remaining arm.
The beam shot forward in a blade shape, and landed right where he expected it to. The creature's other arm slid off of his body, clean. The fissure slash was meant for clean, almost surgical cuts. The alien screamed, then. It was a loud, almost deafening bellow. The arm hit the floor, next to the alien's tent, and Aquanus figured his work was done. Cleaning out the alien's chest of food, he broke his hold over the fool's mind.
Holding the food in one arm, he used his Bukujutsu and flew away, back to his palace.
That should teach the fool a lesson. And hey, I gave him an arm to eat, should he grow hungry... and then, Aquanus laughed. It wasn't obnoxious, nor was it overdone. It was a simple chuckle, one that someone would expect a teenager to make when he made a dirty joke.
Returning back to his dwelling, he lounged about until the sleeping hours, and went back to his room. In the corner of his mind, he wondered what his sister Aliza was doing.
She's probably wandering among the slaves, still. I don't understand what she sees in them...
He got into his study, and took his favorite book from the shelf. Sitting on a chair, he opened the worn cover and turned to the first chapter.
"To kill a saiyan," he read out loud. you need to not have any preconceived feelings of superiority. They can be dangerous if cornered, and aren't to be taken lightly..."
Chuckling to himself, Aquanus turned the page. This was his favorite book, and he needed to read up. If he didn't kill the Saiyans, who will?
