Moonlight Aggravation
Satin sat down in the misty water of a pond, the water was freezing and some what comforting to her taste. The pond was located west of the mountains where she had been living for so long now. It seemed to have been years since she had last spoken to someone, or had even seen a person. She had only been alone for a couple of weeks but she still missed her father, Roahn, he may have been hard to live with but she knew he would take care of her. He was her father, he had cared for her willingly in the years after Akita‘s passing. A single tear slid down her cheek and landed in the pond where she was sitting down, her skirt was drenched by now and so was her hair.
The sky was barely visible through the mist and clouds while all she could see was the light of a crescent moon, it made her skin a paler white and her eyes seemed to reflect a deep violet much like her hair color. ‘Well the bright side is, I don’t have to hide any more. Perhaps I just might go out into the world… Then again I promised I wouldn’t leave this place.’ She sighed then continued to go into her thoughts, it sickened her the fact that she would let a promise control her life. After all her parents were hermits they wouldn’t have a clue what goes on in the civilized world, then again neither did she.
Satin got out of the water, she was soaked and slightly annoyed. ‘Well it’s not too late out, I could get in a little bit of training while I wait for the sun to come up.’ Satin took a step backwards, she only knew two attacks and it had been over a year since she used them. Now would be the perfect time to test them out. She looked to the side of her, it was almost completely barren and deserted except for a couple of trees here and there. Satin stepped back and to the left, then made the decision to attempt her makankosappo technique first. She placed the two fingers of her left hand together then pointed at her target, which was an old, dead, oak tree, she aimed for the base so that the blast wouldn’t go past the tree and hit something useful.
Her body began to emanate a light purple aura around her, the light from her energy was starting to turn bright blue with every passing second as it often did. It took about three minutes of intense concentration before she felt it was strong enough, she raised her left hand slowly then smirked. “Makankosappo!” She called out her voice was light and hardly made a sound to anything around her. The blast hit the base of the tree instantly and exploded when it hit the ground beneath, the back draft from the blast made her fall backwards and the light temporarily blinded her. ’I really do need to practice more, perhaps it would be best if I worked on my Taiyoken.’ Satin got up then collected herself, she had never been good at dodging attacks but she was very good on the offensive side.
Before she could completely stand Satin sat down again from exhaustion, her violet hair covered her eyes while her body shook from loss of energy. If anything this proved that she was far to weak to use that move in a real fight, but as for training it was good as long as she didn’t over-exert herself too much. She laid back and looked up at the sky, dawn was almost there and the sky was turning a pale shade of peach. The fact that she would pay so much attention to what color the sky was, only proved how much she needed someone in her life. [/size][/color]
