Arc One....Genesis
Without responding to his question the young boy had instantly hugged the kneeling guard. Confused over the abruptness of the embrace Nameless just sat there while the boy nuzzled him with tears running down his cheek until he smiled and wrapped his arms around the boy in return. Standing some way behind him Nameless’s teammate watched intently as the two embraced in their hug, only slightly worried about the defenseless position his partner was in. For Nameless the short moment holding the child reminded him of the younger brother he had lost in the destruction of sector 13, forcing him to use all his energy just to keep him from showing emotion. Then the young boy removed himself from the embrace and grabbed the Saiyan trinket that Nameless had noticed prior “Herretz…I am a warrior of the Jr. Vegeta guards.” With curious eyes Nameless looked back at the young warrior wondering his age and if he knew about the destruction he was getting himself into.
He must know, thought the guard as he looked into the eyes of the Jr guards. Ones so young should not have to bear that burden. But before he could respond with kind words the young soldier began to hug Nameless again, laying his head upon the man’s shoulder. The guard’s head tilted slightly to rest atop the boys as his arms wrapped around him to prevent the boy from falling as he fell asleep. “I will take care of you” he whispered into the boys ear as he stood up and turned around to walk towards his partner. “I am taking him to the hospital so they can see to his health, our replacement should be here any moment so you can handle it.” With a nod from his partner Nameless began to ascend the long bridge that would bring him into Vegeta's core area, never having thought that he would with a child in his arms.
After several minutes of walking through streets the guard arrived at the small hospital responsible for all the people living inside the walls of the infrastructure. Luckily the area was not overly crowded or in ill health or the walls inside the building would be overflowing. Walking through the door of the hospital Nameless spoke to the first medic he could find, “I have a Jr. Soldier who survived the destruction. He seems extremely weak, where can I put him?” The medic responded by leading Nameless, and the Jr warrior in arm, to a bed where he gently placed the sleeping boy. “He seems to be malnourished” the medic said over her shoulder to Nameless “I am going to give him a solution and he should recover shortly.” As he spoke the medic pulled grabbed a clear bag full of liquid and attached a tube that lead from the bag to a needle in the boys arm.
The medic then placed his hands over the Jr. Soldiers, Ki appearing between the hands and body. For a moment the medic did not move and then as if in a instant he stood back up, “He should wake up in a moment, I will be back to check on him in a few minutes. You are free to stay of course, but you do not have to.” Nameless watched the doctor as he left and then pulled up a chair alongside the young boys bed to wait...
The Jr Soldier...
His deep sleep turned into him being knocked out unconsciously. Being carried into the infrastructure and into a hospital. His eyes closed, and looking like he was dead. His heart still beating. The couple of people stared at the two, being a weird image to see. Then being lightly placed on a bed to stay in. The bed itself was quite comfortable with white sheets and a soft white pillow. As a needle punctured his skin on his arm that gave off a clear liquid. The doctor now leaving the scene and Nameless staying. A couple of seconds later he woke up again. His eyes barely open are unable to see clearly, his conscious was coming back to him. His vision was very blurred, looking around trying to figure out where he was. 'I'm not dead' Bringing a smile to his face, with a small chuckle. He laid still, still to weak to be jumping around. Noticing this Pako was on the edge of the bed and his necklace was still attached, but his medals still wasn't there. Looking down in grief missing his most valuable asset of his nation. He noticed no one else in the room except for Nameless. "Nameless-san!..." bringing his body up and lifting his arms up, as a hug but unfortunately fell back down on his bed.
"...What are you doing here Nameless-san?...How long was I out?" Nameless was really starting to become the boys friend. His piercing eyes would frighten anyone else but not him. He was so happy to be with Nameless. Nameless was his savior, without him the boy would be dead. the young boy held much respect for him, being he was the only one that he really knew. Then realizing he was in a hospital on such a comfortable bed, the Jr. warrior grinned at the luxuries. "What am I doing in a...hospital?!" he asked very confused, looking around the room. The room weren't much different than the rooms in the bay except a lot more plush.
Then looking down at the needle in his arm realizing the doctor was already here. Giving himself a nice chuckle, he looked back at Nameless. "What am I supposed to do now?" he had so many questions, but Nameless probably wouldn't be able to answer all of them. Hoping to think that some other warrior made it to this post to. He was hoping so, he highly doubted it though. He was starting to get excited realizing he wasn't dead and he was in a new area that he has never been in before, he wanted to go searching out for the others. Then started to hear lighting, its pouring outside, so now he couldn't go as planned. With a frown upon his face, he looked back up at Nameless as his stomach made a huge call for food. He then chuckled after hearing such a huge rumble.
Nameless had not sat in the chair for long before the young boys eyes opened once again. To him it seemed like the boy was somewhat lost in himself, though he suspected it was waking up in a strange area that was affecting more than anything else. His suspicions brought back memories of the demon plight, when the great gaping hole had opened in the center of the battlefield he had rushed into the area in order to try and save as many people as possible. Only he soon found himself far outnumbered by the enemy hordes and unable to make a dent in their forces. The next thing he remembered was being awoken in a small clearing by a medic wearing the traditional Saiyan armor and a strange garb that he had never seen before ”You are safe captain, my name is Hiran.”
That had been the first day that Nameless had met the would be rebellion commander. He later discovered that the would be Commander had been rounding up Saiyans as he marched through the planets slaying enemies with all his might in an attempt to gain many more numbers. In their exit the rebel leader had come open the fallen guardsmen about to be turned into a snack for the mawls on the barren planet they were on, but he had saved the guard and carried him the rest of the way out of the area to safety. Thinking back on it in the hospital only acted to reenergize his love and loyalty to the rebellion and the new leader. Though he knew he wasn’t the only person who owed their life to their leader, he still felt a special connection with the man that watched over them now even as he sat here watching over someone of his own.
As soon as the young boy noticed his presence he nearly jumped out of bed in an attempt to hug him all the while exclaiming ”Nameless-san!” and then following with the first of many questions, ”...What are you doing here Nameless-san?...How long was I out?" Nameless smiled at the young boy in his excitement, he only wished he could have been so excited when he had awoken in the clearing after the outer planets destruction. “Welcome back to the land of the living. You fell asleep in my arms at the gate so I carried you hear to make sure you weren’t in ill health, you weren’t out very long.” As he talked he stood from the chair and walked over to the side of the bed so he could be closer to the new found little brother, he didn’t want the boy to feel alone in his first waking moments.
"What am I doing in a...hospital?!" When Nameless had moved to stand beside the white linens of the hospital bed. “Like I said, I brought you here to make sure you were healthy. I couldn’t in good conscience leave you in the state you were in.” It was funny how the presence of a child somehow brightened up the room. Nameless found himself smiling even though he thought there was no cause for it, perhaps he had done a good thing in bringing the boy here and now his body was rewarding his soul with the smile. "What am I supposed to do now?" The boy asked as Nameless leaned back on the bed next to his, not far enough as to be out of arms reach. “I would suggest staying here a day or two so that you can rest up and recover your health. Then when you feel better you can head over to the training area and discuss joining the ranks again in the Jr. Army if you like, but for now I would rest. It seems like you have had a long journey and could use it. I myself will come back tomorrow to check up on you, but for now I need to be getting back to my duties. Is there anything I can do for you before I leave?”
If the boy had no further requirements Nameless would exit the hospital and be on his way, only to come back again the next day.
