Caius walked back into the training room, still a little tired from having to spar with Suki earlier. He'd need to work a lot to even be able to match him in his lowest form. He strolled over to the gravity machine, and turned it up slowly, to 10x, the extra weight began to pull harder on his shoulders and hips. It was stronger than the 5x he'd fought Suki in before, and he knew it would be a lot harder to do anything in the increased gravity. He already felt slightly strained, just standing up. He summoned his sword to his hands, and it had apparently taken a shape with a center of gravity closer to his hand. It was now a beautifully constructed rapier of tempered steel, flowing loops of metal making up the handguard.
He didn't really know how the sword knew this would be the best form for him to use it in, but he wasn't complaining. It was about the same size as it was in katana form, but he'd need to adapt to the thinner, smaller blade, and the inability to parry heavier strikes as well. All-in-all, it would challenge him in the fight to come. He was almost dragging his feet, the gravity was so high as he trudged over to the battle simulator, and started flipping through settings. He picked a powerlevel of close to 35000 for the enemy fighter, and turned it on. A tall humanoid figure appeared over on the other side of the room, bowed, and took up a fighting stance. Caius's shaky hand leveled his rapier at the figure, and he gave a wry smile. He wasn't sure he'd be able to fight with every movement being as labored as it was, but if Suki could do it, so could he.
"En Garde."
Caius took up a duelists's stance, betraying only one side of his body as opening for attack, with his sword between his opponent and him. He began to power up to his full power level, and with tremendous effort, attempted to close the gap, but was too slow for the fighter. The enemy quickly sidestepped, and before Caius's sluggish hand could come in to counter, a powerful fist slammed into his chest, throwing him back a few steps. Ordinarily, this wouldn't have been a setback at all, and the fighter would have sword through chest and Ki Blasts in his face. The increased gravity caused him to full topple over, at the mercy of the computer-generated fighter. He quickly blocked an incoming kick with his arm, utilizing the fighter's force as impetus to pull himself up, and then, he took advantage of an opening to try and stab the fighter-
Only for him to sidestep it, and lunge in for another hit. The increased gravity and slow movements of Caius made the computer take on an aggressive strategy. Caius was ready this time, and brought up his sword arm to block the punch with his forearm. He then balled up his left fist, powered up to his full powerlevel and let his fist impact with the defenseless fighter's clavicle, throwing him back.
Seeing an opening, the demon rushed the staggered fighter, sheathed his blade, and planted a kick in his chest, throwing him onto his back, much as the fighter had done to Caius before. Charging two of the strongest ki blasts he could muster, he launched them at the prone figure.
The fighter rolled out of the way of one, but took the 2nd to the chest, and was thrown into the wall. As he was getting up, supporting his weight with the wall, Caius used his telekinesis to stab the rapier into the dazed fighter's chest, ending the fight.
With the fight over, and the adrenaline draining from his veins, Caius collapsed onto the floor, and rolled over onto his back. His clothes were drenched in sweat, and his sword lay flat on the ground, across the room.
"Now...that wasn't...so bad, was it?
