Today was training day. He needed to become stronger. After the spar with Suki and Caius, he realized that he was the weakest link. He believed that he and Caius were equals, but apparently that was not so. Suki said that Caius was 1/15th of his power level at his peak, while Jorlaxl was merely 1/50th... Could the gap really be that wide? Why did Caius hold back on Earth?
Walking into the dimly lit training room, Jorlaxl set the gravity to the highest setting: X10. Feeling the enhanced gravity immediately pull his feet to the floor, Jorlaxl got on the ground, and attempted push ups. He was really feeling the pressure now, as his count slowly but surely increased.
Oh, geez... I need to try harder. Gravity won't restrict my training... I need to be better than Caius... I need to be.
Standing up slowly, he walked to the sparring simulator and set it to fight. After a split second of hesitation, Jorlaxl set it to simulate a fight with Caius. After a moment of analyzing, the simulation began. The polygonal warrior materialized, and after a moment, the face glowed a familiar face, carrying a deadly sword. With a battle cry, it lunged at Jorlaxl, with hate in its eyes.
Ready, Jorlaxl met the foe head on, kicking high, in an attempt to disarm his opponent. The sword gives him a huge advantage, and Jorlaxl needs a way to disarm him as quickly as possible. The foe saw this coming, though, and deftly stopped its charge, just out of range from Jorlaxl's kick. Annoyed, Jorlaxl punched the opponent's head with his left hand, while striking the stomach with his right.
Seeing the ploy, the enemy raised his sword vertically in front of him, skillfully deflecting both punches. Before Jorlaxl could even react, the hologram lunged at him, slashing vertically. The bio-android sidestepped, and kicked his enemy's legs in a low sweeping technique. Caius wasn't fast enough, and fell to the ground. Jorlaxl tried to kick him while he was down, but Caius quickly sprang at Jorlaxl from his position on the ground.
Seeing his opportunity at last, Jorlaxl grabbed Caius out of the air, and shot magic missiles at his chest relentlessly. Caius yelled a deep and mind-tearing scream, and closed his arms around Jorlaxl's throat, ending the stream of missiles from spewing forth from his hands. Caius had the upperhand, now, and Jorlaxl had to think quickly.
Reacting quickly, Jorlaxl kneed his opponent hard against his body again and again, repeatedly causing pain. He couldnt breathe, now. All the breath was knocked out of his throat. Just when unconsciousness was nearing, Caius let go, hands around his chest defensively. Both the missiles and the knee attacks have taken their toll. Jorlaxl couldn't take advantage o this, though. He was too busy catching his breath.
Caius lunged at him again, materializing the sword is his hand again. Jorlaxl was ready, though. Feigning weakness, he waited until the last moment to react. Then, grabbing the hilt of the sword, Jorlaxl tore it from Caius' grip and plunged it into his chest. Going in until only the hilt remained visible from the front, the defeated enemy crumpled to the ground, and then poised into nonexistence.
Dripping with sweat, Jorlaxl turned the lights off, shut down the machines, and left.
Today had been most productive.
((Finished, pl please!))
