Getting revenge

Ozikai walked into his house, slamming the door behind him.
He was obviously mad about something.
Ozikai had to calm down and rest.
He walked into his bedroom and meditated for a while.

He had been meditating in the forest and old memories had come back to him of his home world and his people.
How he had been abandoned by them and left to die.
He had been raised by animals and no one, not even his own family cared.
Then Ozikai thought for a second.
He was wondering whether his parents really had wanted to get rid of him.

He had not known much about what happened to him when he was ‘given’ away.
What had happened to his parents back on his home world?
Maybe his parents wanted to get rid of him.
Maybe his parents fought to keep him with the rest of his people.

These thoughts got Ozikai thinking about his parents and his world.
Maybe he should return to his home planet to check it out?
He had only given this a thought when he wanted revenge against his people.
But now he had a different reason to go back.
Then again he would not be staying for long.
Once he found his parents and the answer to his questions then he would leave.

So was he going to leave?
Ozikai decided that he would sleep on it and in the morning he would decide whether he would go back or not.

Ozikai woke up early in the morning.
He meditated while he chooses his decision.
He wanted to go back to find his answers.
He wanted to know what happened.

He made his decision.
He would leave for his home planet.
Then he would find his parents.
Then he would find the answers to all his questions.

He would not stay there for long.
He hated his people for doing what they did.
They threw him off a cliff and left him to die.
Now he was strong enough to get revenge.

Now that was another factor in the equation.
He had been training ever since he had arrived.
Now he had almost doubled in strength from when he left.
He thought that he could get the revenge that he wanted.
He did not want a repeat of last time though.
He would still give it a go.

Now it was settled.
As soon as Ozikai had a space pod he would leave for his home planet.

Ozikai was ready to leave back to his home planet.
He had recently brought a space pod so now he could fly to different places.
He grabbed any items he would need on his trip then he left.
He entered his pod and started flipping switches.
He was just about to leave before he heard something, a cry for help.
What was strange was the fact that he thought he had heard that voice before.
Not in real life but in one of his recent dreams he had been having, well more like nightmares.
Ozikai jumped out of his space pod and followed the voice he heard.

The cries came from inside the forest that Ozikai’s house was built nearby.
Ozikai ran as fast as he could to get to the problem.
He ran past what must have been hundreds of tree until he finally got to the root of the problem.
When he made it to the centre of the forest he found a man being surrounded by other men.
The men looked like muggers and were obviously trying to rob this man.

Ozikai attacked the robbers, expertly taking them down with relatively ease.
He picked up one of them with one arm while firing Ki with the other.
Then he threw the man he was holding to the ground the killed him without thinking.
Lately Ozikai had felt something evil inside of him and now it was showing again.
But Ozikai didn’t have time to focus on that he was going to check out the man e had just saved.

Ozikai approached the man slowly, offering his hand to help him up.
Then the man turned his head and looked at Ozikai.
Then to Ozikai’s shock it was the man from his dream.
It was the man Ozikai had believed to been his father.
Then before Ozikai could react the man pushed him over and ran away.
The man must have known what Ozikai was thinking which only meant that Ozikai’s fears were correct.
But how did he get here and was he really his father?

After the encounter with the man from his dreams Ozikai decided to go back to his house and meditate on what just happened.
If what Ozikai was thinking turned out to be true then he would not need to leave for his home planet anymore.
Ozikai was feeling conflicted emotions.
Was this man that he encountered really his father?
Ozikai was determined to find out the answers to all of his questions and he figured that the best place to start would be with this man.

Ozikai woke up the next morning quickly, wanting to start his mission early.
He got all his equipment ready for the day and flew out the door.
Ozikai didn’t have much of an idea of how he was going to find this man again.
He decided that he would go back to the spot we he had saved him and look for evidence off where he could be now.

After a few minutes of flying he made it back to the spot.
It was in the same condition that it was in last time, except the mystery man.
Ozikai looked around for a bit, making notes of anything that could help him.
After ten minutes of searching around Ozikai gave up looking for anything, he realised that the man didn’t leave anything that could help.
Ozikai decided that he would sleep there for the night, not wanting to fly back to his house.

Ozikai unexpectedly woke up to the smell of smoke.
He turned and could see a small light source from about twenty meters away from him.
Ozikai was still slightly dazed from sleeping and carefully stood up.
He quickly snapped out of it though and got to work.
He flew over to the fire, guessing that it must have been made by the mystery man.

Ozikai’s suspicions were correct.
Sitting next to the small fire was the man that Ozikai had helped yesterday.
From this angle Ozikai could get a better view of the guy.
Now Ozikai was in shock.
He was sure that this was the man from his dreams.
He was certain that the man he was looking at was his father.

What was his father doing here on earth?
He was sure that the reason probably had something to do with him; why else would he be here?
Well there was only one way that Ozikai could find out.
He would have to confront his father and find out why he was on earth.

He slowly walked through the bush, not wanting to draw attention to himself.
Then he stopped and cleared his throat.
At that moment the man stopped and turned to look at him.

The man looked shocked for a second, and then his face turned to what looked like nervous.
The man stood up and looked at Ozikai.
Then he spoke to him.

“Well I’m guessing that you figured out who I am, now I’m thinking that you want to know why I’m here.”Ozikai said nothing and only shock his head.

“Well as you know when a child is born on our home planet they are judged on whether they are worthy to live or die.”
“Well this is because our great gods bring us good luck if we sacrifice the weak ones of our race.”
“And recently we have been having incredibly bad luck and we had no idea why.”
“But then we found out why.”
“You survived the fall and made it off our planet.”
“Good for you but not for us.”
“You see I was chosen to bring you back and finish the job, I don’t want to do it but there is no other option.”
“I’m sorry for what I’m about to do.”

Ozikai could not believe what he was hearing from his own father.
How could he want to kill his own son?
He would not let this happen no matter what he had to do.

At that moment Ozikai’s father gave him one last hug.
But this was no hug, Ozikai’s dad grabbed him by the neck and threw him into the fire.

Ozikai could not believe what his own father just did to him.
Luckily he could use his flight to dodge the fire.

“Why are you doing this?”
“You could have stayed here with me and we could have been a family but now it’s too late.”

Ozikai lunged at his father without a thought.
He grabbed him by the throat and started to choke him.
Ozikai’s dad then started to punch him back
At least this fight was not going to be one sided.

Ozikai’s dad then kicked Ozikai back into the fire once again.
This fire was now becoming a problem.
Ozikai blew out the fire with a Ki blast.
Now they were fighting in the dark.
Ozikai always liked a good challenge.

Now he had no way of knowing where he was and vice versa.
Ozikai charged up a KI ball to light his way.
His father was nowhere in sight.
He must have been a tactical fighter.
Then Ozikai felt a sharp pain travel up his back.

He turned to see his father looking at him; he had a sword in his hand.
It was not only in a hand, it was also in Ozikai’s back.
It had narrowly missed his spine and now Ozikai could barely stand.
His father was now ready to finish his own son off.

But Ozikai was not going to die today.
He charged his Renzoku energy Dan in one hand and fired it at his dad.
He flew into a tree behind him and pulled out the sword from Ozikai’s back.
Ozikai walked over in pain.
He looked down at his father and stared.

“Please son help me.”

Then Ozikai blasted his father with his Ki.
He mercilessly killed him.
Ozikai felt a change in his heart.
He was growing different from his past self.
