Caius walked back into the gravity training room on Suki's ship. Even though the Senzu bean had worked its magic on the demon's body, some trace of the injuries still remained, his muscles were a little bit stiff. A good training session should bring some life back to these bones. Caius was feeling a lot stronger than he felt before, and he was going to put his new powers to the test. He looked at the training machines around the gravity chamber, and he looked up at the panel that controlled the computer. He placed his hands on his hips, and with a smirk, takled to it.
"Computer, how are you today? Me, oh I'm feeling great. Never better in fact! I won't be partaking of your gravitational augmentation today, just want to run a diagnostic test on my battered body.
He summoned his sword, which once again, intelligently picked the form of a rapier to manifest itself. With a couple of deft flicks of his wrist, he traced quick concise circles in the air. A couple of arcs thourgh the air and his wrists and elbows began to become accustomed to the increased gravity. He gave a little smile, and looked up at the computer again.
Training simulator, give me an evenly matched opponent.
The computer beeped, and with a little whirr, summoned a facsimile opponent for Caius to test his skills against. Caius put one hand behind his back, to conceal its' motions, and pointed his rapier towards his opponent, and with a slight upward tilt. He held the muscles in his wrist tense, so as to be able to respond quickly to any movement by his opponent.
The opponent across from him was something from Suki's last training session, a Saiyan. His powerlevel matched Caius's maxiumum of about 90,000, and he took up a fihgting stance, facing Caius. The demon powered up to his maximum, and prepared himself for a strenuous fight against the computer's battle A.I. Caius took the first move this time around, taking a step with his right foot forward towards his opponent, left foot behind. He drew his sword point down in a slash at his opponent, designed to injure his opponent's shoulder. The A.I, anticipating an attack of this sort, blocked the flat end of the blade with the palm of his hand, and went for Caius's throat with a chop.
Caius wasn't quite as forward thinking, and was momentarily surprised. He managed to lean back out of the way of the chop, but the computer grabbed Caius's collar instead, when its' attack missed. Caius drove his right foot into the side of his opponent's knee, and forced him to let go and step back before he could press his advantage. Caius twisted his wrist and the light blade of his rapier sliced through the air, and the Saiyan staggered back a little. Caius took this chance, and jumped forward, light on his feet, and slashed downwards, crosswise across his opponent's body. The sharp blade cut diagonally, and Caius drew blood.
The practice Caius had gotten since he'd last sparred a tough opponent, especially versus the swift but powerful Ikezu, had given him the prowess and insight needed to fight an opponent of his own caliber. So he wasn't surprised when this construct emplyed what was apparently a Saiyan technique, the Zanzoken, to close the gap after the sword stroke pushed him back. Caius was prepared, and spun on his feet, taking a step back out of the way of the counter-attack. The fist of his computer opponent whisked past Caius's nose, a couple of hairs from breaking it. Caius used his inactive left hand to surprise the Saiyan, and pull him into Caius. The crafty Makaioshin sheathed his sword, and put his fist into the enemy's chest. His opponents' simulated eyes widened in surprise as an aqua needle of ki exploded, energy echoing through the chamber. His enemy hurtled into the wall of the gravity chamber and fell. 4 more rapidly followed, sparks of ki running across the walls of Suki's ship. The enemy fainted, and was disassembled by the computer. A beep from the panel signaled that Caius had indeed systematically taken apart the best fighter that the computer could cobble together from data for him.
Disappointed, Caius decded next time to specify that the computer make him an opponent that could actually fight, and wouldn't act like a fool. He dismissed his blade, and walked over to the exercise machines. Sweating heavily, the demon began to do pull-ups on the pull up bar in order ot achieve the maximum work-out he could with his spare time. He needed to become stronger for when he fought Ikezu next, assuming the Inaurian had survived his run-in with Touketsuki Yakedo.
