There comes a time in a person’s life when they feel like they can do anything, everything that they have come across seemed to have been nothing more than a phase a trivial challenge to better themselves as a person. The same said person will soon run into a brick wall in which they may or may not be able to climb over. This wall can either be the end of the “Overcoming Phase” and the start into another phase. If the said person can clear this wall to easily they will indeed become stronger in their related endeavors, and their mind set will still be in the “Overcoming Phase”. However if one does not clear this wall their train of thought will be banished into the depths of despair as they slowly realize that nothing they can do will ever allow them to grasp the top of the colossal wall of their enviable fate that they are trying to climb over.
There is yet another phase that most people don’t comprehend this is the phase where one has tired countless times to reach the top of the wall that stands firmly in front of them. The key is not to climb over this wall, on the contrary it is to run into it full force. The slight crack that you have produced in the wall after many attempts to climb it now leaves a gaping hole for you to run right through it. It is clear that running through this hole will not leave you unscathed. Damage will be taken if not physically or mentally then both will arise. This is the juncture I call the Limbo Phase, the state in which you have found the answer and just have not commence in performing till the point right after one has realized that they have cleared the blockade that had prolonged them for such a lengthy amount of time.
Yoko who was now not only acutely in this state of limbo, but she had already taking the damage. Her pain was not just external but internal as well. It was apparent that she could effortlessly and straightforwardly control her demon when in the halved state. The question that lingered on her mind was what had it cost her. Did she lose not one but two friends in a matter of seconds? Even though they where undoubtedly on different sides of the emotion spectrum. She could help but thing either way she chose to go from this point on she would be abandon someone. She could discard the first person that took her in and befriend her on this plant, or reject the female that she had connected with on an emotion level enough so that she apprehend how to control her inter-demon.
The fight in her mind was no longer a fight against her dark self but a fight on which way she should go. Which path cloud covered unrevealed path should she take the part that would lead her down the path of Justice, and never removing the Cross that rested tight against her neck. Only her truly applied strength could break through the heaven sent metal that check her red banged demon in check. If she returned back to the School that Toshio taught would he be willing take her back? Would he even trust that she could fully control every aspect of her dark side in the form? Yoko knew the kindness in his heart would reply with a yes, but the well being of his students would most likely force him to decline her return to the school. If that would be the case she would not blame his for a thing she would have made the same decision being if she was in his predicament.
On the other side of the mind war she could continued down the path that her demon had lead her down. She could soon remove the cross that dangled loosely around her neck. Just a single tug with her finger could break the chain of the metal that torments her every day. She would be free to see what her truly self was. Not the demonic red banged girl she feared but a normal person who could weigh the right and wrongs of everything she did with a clear and leveled mind set. With enough draining and time following satins lead she may be able to overcome the demon inside. Of course she would travel along the outer gates of the placed she didn’t want to be but how else would she be able to unlock what she truly was without her parent’s guidance. The question was would Satin allow her as company for the time being.
