Jorlaxl was dragging Serori's body around the whole of Saru city. Not for any personal pleasure, but because he was forced to. Although holding a naked female was a natural inbred instinct to him, that wasn't the reason why he was doing it. To the casual Vegetan onlooker, they'd see a human-looking person carrying a naked saiyan on his back. He would be walking quite slowly, and was fairly unsure of how he was to step, and when. He appeared off balance. To the casual observer, it would seem that an alien was carrying his drunken saiyan friend home.
Apparently, that was a regular, everyday sight, so Jorlaxl wasn't stopped by most civilians. Most of them were too busy being in shock, anyway. The recent crime sprees of the World Trade Organization's lower member's seem to be spreading like wildfire. However, none of them recognized Jorlaxl's face. Caius had a slightly easier job, having the ability to fly right now. Jorlaxl would normally be able to fly, and he'd be right beside Caius. However, because of this godforsaken armor, flying was impossible. So here he was, stuck on Vegeta, carrying a naked Saiyan woman on his back.
Yeah, he was ready to get off of this planet. It's been a long day.
Walking along, he saw Suki's ship in the distance, nothing more than a speck on the horizon before him. Grinning, Jorlaxl doubled his efforts, now being able to see his objective. He was entering the outskirts of Saru city, now. Looking around, he saw seedy establishments here and there, nothing more than a gambling den to the local police. They seemed largely ignored, as long as the denizens didn't cause too much ruckus. However, it seemed like that would happen a lot, seeing as they're all saiyans. Jorlaxl debated that for a moment, and began walking faster. This was the weakest he's been in a long time. He didn't want any surprises.
Looking left, he saw a long alleyway that twisted and turned in the direction of Suki's ship. Reasoning that he'd be more protected in the alley, he turned and slowly walked into the alleyway, checking behind his back, making sure that no one was tailing him. Happy with what he saw (or what he didn't see,) he started trekking into the dark walkway, unsure of what would happen. The sun was already gone, and the only light was from the moon. Seeing the moon again, Jorlaxl started. He remembered!
No wonder no one was looking up! It seemed to be almost like an unwritten law on Vegeta; whenever the moon does rise, no one look at it. The sudden power boost doesn't seem to be worth the monetary cost the damages would create to fix. The saiyans he did see on the road were looking down, hastily trying to find their house. Jorlaxl didn't blame them. They've had a trying few hours. Did they know that their army was decimated?
Walking around the corner, Jorlaxl didn't even see the punch coming right at him until it connected.
Stumbling backwards, he dropped the still unconscious body of Serori and got a good look at his attacker. Or, as it turned out, his attackers. He saw 4 saiyan males, each with a wide brimmed hat, seemingly used to block out the moon. They all had wide grins on their faces, and they were circling Jorlaxl. Thankfully, none of them seemed to notice the unconscious saiyan woman. They were cracking their knuckles, and seemed to be ready to attack at any moment.
"Oh, look what we have here, boys," one of them said, licking his lips, "a lost little puppy, trying to find his way back home. You look like you have some cash on you. Fellas, loot him." He laughed a deep, hearty laugh, and then continued. "If he struggles, don't hesitate to kill him."
They menacingly chuckled, and Jorlaxl grinned. He could sense their powers, and none of them were particularly threatening. 2300... 2130... 3140... and the last one was an even 3500. Nothing too hard. However, the training armor made everything more difficult. He felt clunky, and less fluid in his motions. That didn't stop him from kicking Saiyan ass, though. As soon as one of them threw a punch at him, Jorlaxl activated his unyielding spirit.
His aura lit up from a bright purple to a dark crimson, with blue lightning crackling around him. His power level shot up, and suddenly, the normally self-assured and complacent thugs' countenance was replaced with one of pure terror. They all recoiled, visibly shocked from the sudden power level increase, and they took a few steps back. The leader was up against a wall, and said gulped loudly, probably swallowing his pride.
"Hey, buddy, we don't want any trouble. You can go ahead and leave, now."
Jorlaxl laughed, a genuine, hearty laugh. It terrified the saiyans. They were disgusted and at the same time interested at his sudden reaction. Did he think that them sparing his life was funny? Before any of them could react, Jorlaxl shot out magic missiles out of his outstretched fingers, shooting many of them in every direction in front of him, catching all of the saiyans in the range. Explosions rocked the stone walls of the alleyway, and bright blood splattered them in a sort of physical graffiti.
The goons were all dead, except for the leader. Jorlaxl made sure that Serori was still alive and well, and bent down beside the saiyan would-be-leader. He put his head next to his ear, and whispered, "Leave, now. And never return. I allowed you to live, so you can spend the rest of your life figuring out why your friends died. It was your fault, your folly. Reflect on that." With that, he got back up, walked over to Serori, and picked her back up, and slung her over his back.
He grinned an innocent smile to the thug, who wore an confused expression on his face, and started walking towards Suki's ship. That little encounter took too much time. Suki might leave without him. He looked overhead, and saw that Caius was gone too. Maybe he was already there... He needn't dally! He was going to be left behind!
((Finished! Uhhh. Heavy training armor, and Vegetan gravity. Oh yeah, Power level please! ))
