"Ah… King of the Western territories…" the Queen said with a look of interest, her gaze resting on the girl whose wrist the Western King was roughly holding onto, "And what is it you've brought to show us…?"
"I found this girl running away from the scene of the murder!" the leader of the West exclaimed, looking rather proud of himself. Westerners were known for their haughty attitudes, not that they were unfriendly; the Westerners merely had trouble dealing with the fact that they were no longer the most powerful territory on the planet.
"Let me go! I didn't do anything!" the girl shouted, struggling to free herself from the Leader of the West's iron grip. Gekkou noticed that the girl was about her age and looked rather rough and unkempt. When the girl spoke, it seemed as though the Royal language was her natural tongue, but she did not speak with the local accent most Easterns had, she sounded more like the Western Leader.
"W-Why don't we let her explain… her situation…?" Gekkou asked hesitantly, taking a small step forward away from her chair. Everyone in the room looked at her with expressions of surprise; it was the first time she had spoken the entire time.
"Yes, I agree with my daughter Gekkou" said King Eddy, his handmaid smiling warmly at the young Gekkou. "Let the girl speak."
The Western King looked defiant at first, but soon relented and released the girl's wrist, at which time the girl immediately made a beeline for the doorway only to be stopped by two powerful Northern Guards whom Gekkou did not even know were present. "Well, looks like the boys in the gay outfits really are good for something” her Father mused, smirking at the Queen who merely frowned back at him.
The girl looked rather frightened as the Northern Guards brought her back into the room and shut the doors. "Er… My name is Lite…" she introduced herself, taking off her turncoat hat and shuffling her feet nervously.
"Lite, a fine Western name" the King of the South commented approvingly, though he was probably thinking that having an western name signified that she had some sort of connection to the West.
"Y-Yes, I'm one-third New light on my mother's side…" the girl explained, "Though I'm mostly Full Light…"
The Queen smirked and glanced at King Eddy, "The East, a nice Newish area…"
King Eddy frowned at the mention of Newish. "But you're not from Newish, nor from Full Land. Your accent says as much. Where are you really from?"
